I was shoved back maybe 18 years to a children's book I read where these little girls (maybe rabbits) were drinking out of a blue china tea set.  It was one of my favorite books as a kid, but all I remember now is that blue china!

I'm going to begin with Regency, simply because there were fewer underthings, and then move on to Victorian 1870s.  Because I want a bustle BAD.  And then maybe move back to Georgian.

I have the patterns in mind that I want to use.  I have the sewing machine, and enough knowledge to sew in a straight line and stitch terribly by hand.  And I have family who is willing to help.  So, some day, I may be able to put pictures up.  Even if they're only underthings.

So I got a Cintiq, which I'm still gushing over, and am now terrified.

It's not that I think I'm a terrible artist, there's just so much I need to work on.  I notice that I play it safe by using the same 3 positions over and over and over again.

I finished Breaking Dawn, finding it thoroughly ridiculous.  I know everybody's going nuts over the whole Jacob/Nessie thing, but I actually liked that part.  Actually the only part I liked.

The whole idea of male vampires still having swimmers grosses me out.  Honestly, think how indestructable they'd be.  They might even live long enough to impregnate you several times over.  And the fact that vampires don't have any blood flowing... yeah, that totally destroys any chance of happy time.

So yes, oddly enough when I sketch, my pictures look really dynamic, only for me to botch it up later on in inking, or get scared and go safe to my normal 2-D looking work.

And I realize that my use of the computer in most of my inking and drawing is a total crutch.

She's just a genius.  Seriously.  Though I can see at times how she would hate what she was writing.  For a few of them, it was the same story re-written, because her fans (and therefore the publishers) demanded more of that kind.   But it doesn't matter to me, because the writing and the humor is just so good!
