it's been a couple of months, and i thought i'd pretend not to be lazy and actually do something... but that didn't really work.

Anyways, i've been doing a few little designy things recently, i'll put some of them up soon, a couple of birhtday invitations, a cool bike helmet desig with skulls and tribals and flames and epicness, and i might even bother to take some photos of old artwork that got displayed in the easter show and put that up.

But most importantly it's springtime here in Sydney, which means that it's time to head outside, bike riding, going to the beach, chillin in the sunshine, which, incidentally i'll be doing this weekend, at fingal bay.

Enjoy Spring everyone, and commiserations to those of you in the northern hemisphere who are heading towards winter (c'mon global warming, hurry up, i'm looking forward to an endless summer)

So, i somehow managed to make it through the last week of tafe, and i only left part of my finger behind (it got chopped off by my scalpel whilst trimming my characters from the rocks calendar)... but on the plus side, i've got 3 weeks of holidays, and a shiney new 21.5" monitor to play with, which will be especially helpful for book covers and stuff... anyway i'm off to sleep after my epic mtb ride today... which ended up being 10kms of walking and carrying my bike up and down stairs interspersed with probably 5kms of riding in short bursts, although it was some pretty intense single track.

Anyway, catch you all later...

Finally Tafe is finished for the year (well that went bloody quick (or at least quicker than last year with the HSC and the no-time-to-play-xbox-or-blink-coz-of-study)) and so now its the holidays and i am going to aussiemoot WOOOOOOO

i know you're going to ask what aussiemoot is, so i shall explain.
Aussiemoot is a massive 2 week camp at Cataract Scout Park for Rovers. Unfortunately Rovers is a part of Scouts, except we are older (18-26), do NOT sit around tying knots or singing kumbaya, tend to drive 4WD's or falcons/commo's, do exciting things such as abseiling, canyoning, 4WDing, watching the cricket, crawiling between pubs, going to the beach, etc etc (insert other fun things here)
oh, and since we're all mature adults, when we get together, such as at Aussiemoot, its a big party, and we all have a drink or 2 (or 4 or more) and other associated adult fun that comes with drunken inhibitionless-ness.
Plus, since Aussiemoot is going over the 30th of December until the 12th of January, there was a mention of 7, thats right 7, new years eve parties, in 1 big night.
after spending a couple of days getting over the hangover and self loathing, we're all heading off on our expeditions. i personally am heading to the blue mountains to go white water rafting, abseiling, canyoning and mountain biking. others are going to the test match, on winery tours, shopping sprees, mid-north coast surfaris and other similar exciting things.

so if you think that you would like to partake in the fun that is rovers (because you're all missing out) go find a rover crew, theyre all over the world
