I just got back last night after 3 weeks away in Byron Bay and Coffs Harbour and I have 13,000 dA messages :faint:

Needless to say that I will not get to replying or answering all of them, so thanks to all the favers and commenter's :D

Man it was wet up there but we were lucky enough to dodge the devastating floods. Just a bit of inconvenience at driving at walking pace through the flooded highway near Grafton the day before it became impassable. So whilst it was the wettest summer holiday I have ever had (the frogs and ducks were in heaven), I am just happy that our tent was fully waterproof and to have had a safe break.

I have made a portfolio using dA's Portfolio tool. The options are 0limited, but having said that they are pretty cool and it is a great way for a person with no web design knowledge (like me) to get a portfolio/gallery out there that appears to be independent of dA. To me it appears that this is occuring across dA in general. I used to really enjoy the interaction and particularly an actual critique. I mean, it is great if someone leaves a breif message like "Great shot!" and/or faves a deviation, but to get detailed critique on it such as constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement is even better. After 7 weeks away working in Dubai and Paris I arrived back in Sydney from Dubai yesterday for 46 hours of sleeping, unpacking, washing, packing etc. before heading off for one week holiday snowboarding at Perisher Blue in the Australian Alps.

Unless things have recently changed, our hotel at the snow does not have pc's with internet access. I might get the chance to check in once or twice at an internet cafe (but who knows).

Confirmation came through last night that I will be travelling to France. I am booked on an Emirates flight to Paris tomorrow (Friday) afternoon due to meetings next week with a client there. That gives me a full day there Sunday to do a bit of sight seeing and/or photography.

I will be having meetings for the week (Mon-Fri) and return on Saturday evening to Dubai. There is a fairly good chance that I will not be contactable while I am there. I do not know what (if any) access I will have to dA, Hotmail or msn messenger while I am there.

Hi there fellow nude artists. I would like to run a competition for our nude community. I have a few ideas for a theme but I would be greatful to hear your thoughts on it.

Basically it will be a competition with a theme or specific style. An example of a theme might be "food or thought". Or alternatively an example of a style might be "bodyscapes".

All entries will need to be original photos that are either from a set of new photos that are shot specifically for the competition or from a set that none have been submitted on dA or elsewhere on the web.
