-I LOVE Beauty and the Beast. And umeboshi. Those have nothing to do with each other.

-Sometimes I get so tired of English that I speak in only Japanese and make my Japanese friends translate for my American friends who don't understand me. Hey, it's good practice for both of us...

-I can drink a double-shot americano (basically espresso and hot water) and go right to sleep.

-I really like walking in the rain, but I hate drying off afterward.

-I have a really bad habit of falling for people who are already taken...it's really annoying. Side fact: I tend to draw the people I like...then never, ever show them...cause it's getting to the point that my drawings actually look like who I intend them to.

-I'm participating in NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)!!! ...and I just started a couple of days ago...!! yay. this is gonna be impossible. XP

-I really want to study Chinese...D:

Gah I'm in such an art-slump. I can't draw anything! I drew a pic I kind of liked (mmm, red-headed depressed boy...hehehe). Too bad I don't have access to a scanner where I am right now, hah. Just my luck, drawing something that was half-way, SORT OF okay, and I can't scan it for about five days (I finished it Saturday, but I'm about 1,000 miles from home right now). Ever since I drew it, though, I haven't been able to draw anything else! I think I'm going insane. I've never wanted to draw as badly as I do right now, but neither have I felt so artistically inept. I've been trying to sate this art hunger of mine by quick-sketching some Saiyuki characters (I heart Minekura sooooo much for her guys!), but it just isn't satesfying me. all I can draw is rough, sketchy, misproportioned ideas from the colorful ones that are beating around in my head trying to escape.

/sigh

I guess I have this problem a lot. I never want to try and draw the things I think of because I'm afraid I'll mess them up, and that would make me so...sad. I don't know what I'd do if something I was feeling and saw so clearly in my head just, I dunno, couldn't make it out on paper because I'm...just...not good enough!!

or maybe I just need to take a break for a few days and finish reading my book (wonderful, by George R.R. Martin: A Game of Thrones) Yeah...I think I'll just do some anatomy practice sketches for the next few days. Then maybe I can get back on track and start trying to push forward again. ]]> ~seapea11
