Tonight we held our second Tournament. 3 tables, 17 people. From each table, 2 people go on to the final table. The first round is two hours long and the two with the most cash go on to the final, where the winner is decided via last man standing.

We played for 8 hours! It was really exciting... good cards or good bluffing really gets your heart going. I ended up coming second losing with an Ace and an 8, to a pair of 10s. It didn't matter though, we had both played a killer round. I lowed at 3 euros, and highed at about 20

So, to round off this journal entry...the first in centuries.... I will say, good night, and play some poker if you get the chance, you just might like it.

Hello,

school has been fun, tomorrow I go back to work. It's been a funny month, I've had arguments and discussions with all sorts of people on DA.

Up first (and my favorite) was StoopidGerl's poll on vegetarianism, I had a really interesting dicussion with her, we all got fired up. Didn't quite end up where I thought it would but fun none-the-less.

Secondly I found lots and lots of horrible Nazi - Support in Da. This shocked me. DA says that it is not a polical forum here and thus such people can be members- but can they be members in the case that they use DA as a political forum? I dunno. Anyway, check out ~ANSU, and ~odiomismo for some "different" opinions.... What'S really scary it that most of these Nazi's are american - imagine! Racial Purists in a land that is pretty much made up of every race on earth, cross-breeded for 200 years! So ironic, but they don't see that.....

Oh, and apparently I am A punk. Because I listen to punk and metal. isn't that cool? I'm gonna listen to pop today, so I can be a POP! And tomorrow I'm gonna read my philosophy books, so I am a PHILOSOPHER. Isn't it cool categorizing people?! ------------------NO---------------- I am a person. I am me. CLICHÉ, i know. It's been great working out here in Texas, although I had many reservations as to coming here. I had allowed my negative view of the Government here to cloud my understanding and had been holding a lot of things against the people here instead of the real people behind it. I also let stereotypes influence me....and now I realise that intelligence is relative and it all depends on the education you had and the chances. There are a lot of people here who could probably not spell my name, but are intelligent nonetheless. There are also a lot of truly enlightened people that totally caught me off guard. And reiterated my own opinion that I should not, NOT, make presumpions about anybody or anything, until experiencing it for myseld.

One thing also : the real idiots here are managers....dilbert (Scott Adams) is right, the unskilled dumbass people are the ones that get promoted, just to limit the damage they can do while attempting to do real work....but of course, I will not generalise anymore and this does NOT apply to every manager

Your People have impressed me so much, a lot of /*real*\ friendliness, and not just the fakeness I had expected - although I will not say that that does not exist to a certain extent.

Vocational College is finally over for this block, won't have ot turn up there again until at least April

I know it sounds stupid saying I'm happy to be going back to work, but I must say, my job is ten times as much fun as school. At least at work I can actually turn my brain on and so something. (And Of course! The coffee )

Am flying to the U.S. this weekend, doing two weeks of support at one of our U.S. customers, JC Penney, should be fun!

New Year was really fun, here in Germany, we did fondu and all sorts of stuff, and drank Feierzangebohle (or something), which is like hot punch ;D then we went out side and blew up all sorts
of explosives (which are legal here).

I'm stuck with an old digital cam at the moment, and that sort of limits me, but I'm working on getting a new one, and as soon as I do the shots should start getting sharper
