So I'm finally beginning to break my artist's block which makes me feel so much better. My current project is going to be a series of fanart inspired by the lyrics from Fireflies by Owl City. I have a few ideas on how to integrate Legend of Zelda as well as Kingdom Hearts. It'll be interesting to say the least as I don't usually do backgrounds on my art. I'm a little hesitant but I enjoy experimenting. :D I think first up is going to be Kingdom Hearts. I'm imagining Riku, Kairi, and Sora on Destiny Islands surrounded by lightning bugs at sunset.

I still want to do my Organization XIII card deck. I'm thinking that with the release of Birth by Sleep, it'll allow me to do art of both the Nobodies and their human counterparts which I think would make for an amazing deck of cards. I'm also thinking that the suits will be Heartless/Nobody/Crown/Keyblade symbols. I'm not 100% sold on this though. The other conundrum about an Org XIII deck is whether or not to include Xion from 358/2 Days....

Any opinions?

I'm working on updating this thing regularly, but with my schedule recently, I've found that at best I can at least update this once a month...so that's what I am going to do. ^.^ I lack a scanner right now, which is 90% of my reason for lack of update. "some of the lines need to be smoothed out, and I'd have to suggest using something smaller than a sharpie for the details. if you have photoshop, it might help to black in the shadows, instead of being able to see the marker lines (or try a brush and ink?). basically, just clean it up some"

Ahem *steps up to the podium* There are certain reasons why i can not use brush and ink and don't use Photoshop for these....

#1) Money: I am an unemployed college student ultimately dependant on her parents for money and for something like brush and ink I am shit outta luck...

#2) Photoshop takes away the reaction that people give me when they see the original. I could care less about absolutely smooth lines. In my eyes, it's the imperfections of something that makes it mine. I never was a good artist in the drawing department until I did these so I know they're not perfect. Besides...if they were, they sure as hell wouldn't have been made by me.

I'm not meaning to single anyone out but I want to inform people who look at this page. I can get Sharpies for less than 2 dollars...brush and ink is just not something I can afford....

Flame I have been promoted to staffer over at ~elements-of-art and am devoting a lot of my DA time to keeping up with my duties there.

Flame I have applied and interviewed for an internship down at Disney World and I have been very nervous yet excited.

Flame Finals week is the week of March 17th....'nuff said.
