university started again for the second semestre. Now my free-time vanishes and I have to work more. So I won't do to much photo stuff in the upcoming weeks.

I got free time.
This is great, Ihave now the time to lay in bed all day or do nothing. And this is what I am doing.
Beside this very hard work I found the time to do shoot some photos which will be here on da in a few days.
I wanted to do a little feature of beelitz, but *dorosblack () did it already, so I don't want to do it again.
The metro and bus service is on strike here in Berlin and so we have to stay at home. it sucks.

After a phone call on thursday, when we knew that the film is still not there I went to the shop. And surprise surprise, the film was there, but not the way I ordered it. I wanted a simple processing and a scan to a photo cd. I got: an expensive processing (8,57 EUR) and a contact sheet. no cd. and the contact sheet names the pictures with "01.jpg", so they already scanned them, but didn't burn them.

moral: Never go to foto meyer to get a film processed. it sucks.

If you would have a shop for photographic equipment with a lab for films and connections to a big lab, how long would it take to develop a simple black and white film?
This special shop I frequented (f m, those who know it will know what I know now ) takes about two weeks. But with several steps:
First step: I get my ISO 3200 BW film there, put it in a bag and ask the woman there, if everything is done the right way. She says "yes" amd announces that the film will be ready the next day. Impressed as I am about the speed, I go home.
Second Step: Next day. I am there and looking forward to a cool bw film and the prints. I ask if the film is already there and I have to hear: "We're sorry, but we don't do bw films here, we sent the film to a big lab."
Why didn't I hear that before? This woman saw the film and threw it herself into the "night service home lab" box. I am a bit pissed, but it's fine. they promise to have the film the next wednesday.
Third step: Nest wednesday. I get there, hoping that I may get my film. I ask and this time a guy tells me, that I didn't mark how the film should be developped (ISO 1600, 3200 or 6400). the Lab sent the film back and now I have to mark that I want to have it processed as a 3200 ISO film. I have to say that I used this special film for the first time and didn't know about this fact. They sent the film back to the big lab and said it will be back today.
Fourth step: Today. I phoned the shop and had to hear, that the film is still not back. After one and a half week.

I am pissed of and I will never ever process a film there again.
The guys there had the film three (!!) times in their hands weren' able to tell me, that it is not properly marked and that it is a bw film to be sent away.

Excuse this rant, but I am angry and have to get it off somehow.

Yeeehaaa! It's over!
Next week I got a chemistry practice. But until then I don't have to learn anything. Yay!

It was my birthday yesterday on 21/02 and ^Staged featured me in her journal. Nice present!

I think the more I learn at university, the more rubbish I need to watch on youtube and the crazier I get. So prepare yourself! I might get around somewhere and hit you with nonsense.
