rented the darkness for ps3.... I'm very impressed with this title. the graphics are astounding, I would've probably shit myself if I had a high def tv. I dont know how many hours of tv are in this game.... but I'm watching music videos in the game... I found this tv next to a bum in a subway.... there's full length movies on it... 2 channels of music videos, cartoons... and some other channels. I forgot what my objective was so I just started watching it lol. but anyway.... it's a must play... also played madden 08.... boo.... other than the graphics I hate the next gen maddens.

it's 6 am here..... and no I didnt just wake up. a few things.....

-a lot of weird shit has been goin around in the art group community(I.E. kV, evoke).... there have been accusations of hacking. this is very childish and unprofessional. this also brings up another rant of mine.


-(for people who have been artists long b4 they had hair on their chinny chin chin) ever notice that a lot of people in this artgroup scene do this as a hobbie, and have no traditional art background whatsoever. I see a lot of artists(mainly my age and younger) really dont know what composition is.... they have an idea.... but dont know really what the elements of design are. ..... I think this is sad, a lot of fresh new aspiring artists are out there and look up to these people. so If you dont know.... take a class on it, read a book about it... or for god sakes at least look up the WIKI... "I did it all for the WIKI!, the WIKI!" hahaha

holy fuck..... this game gave me a headache. I just rented it for the ps3. it's hard as fuck. apart from the ridiculously hard difficulty called "normal" it's a pretty good game... the level graphics could've been a lot better and it's got too much of arcade style for me. so if you're goin to play this one, bring your headache meds and try not to throw the controller.

HUGE advantage to getting the ps3. I even bought sons of liberty just to catch my self up on the story. it's gonna be quite a game. snake eater was the ps2's prime... and that game was astounding. as far as the older solid games I favor mgs1 or twin snakes over sons of liberty.... I mean.... Gray Fox was in mgs1.... and he's just fucking badass.... msg2 had it's perks... but I thought the plot fell apart at the end... I had to beat it again to clearify it.


I hate that mgs4's not being released till next year.... but I'd rather konami take their time on it.... it's gonna be shweeet... I'm doing a painting of raiden in mgs4... finally, he's not a wus.
