I severely underestimated both the utter complexity, and the utter addictiveness of this game.

I come from an action game, Contra, Mega Man etc. upbringing, so the amount of micro-management required in this little title is friggin' mind-blowing to me, but I'm sure the more RTS inclined gamer is much more likely to, "get it," but, I have fun with it, nonetheless. Anyone with some free time (and a fairly decent computer... (not me )) should certainly check it out.

Anyway.

Maybe I'll get to drawing again one of these days...

Well... Maybe one more thing.

I've decided to open up commissions and stuff, but no so much commissions in the traditional sense so much as commissions that are free. And it's not so much commissions as it is requests. Actually I guess that's exactly what it is. I've decided to start taking requests from anyone that wants to give them.

I wanna do this for a couple reasons:

One, I just can't really come up with anything right now :/ Zip, zero, nada. I'll leave that to you guys

And two, just to see how I'd handle doing REAL commissions, should the urge arise (gotta make the bread SOMEhow :/) But that probably won't be anytime soon. I kinda wanna get better at drawing before I start doing any of that.

On a side note, the PC I'm using at the moment had to be formatted (thanks in no small part to the clods I call a family ) so all my drawlings ever are currently lost and in my deviantart :/. Anyway. I'll boot up my ancient copy of painter and start making new stuff eventually. (Unless someone's willing to "loan" me a copy of a much better image editor, like Photoshop or something. Hint, hint ) Anyway.

In the coming months, It's gonna be hard for me to do much of anything because we (family and I) are going through the process of building a new house, and apparently I have been "volunteered" as free labor... :/ Anyway, that'll be several months, but we haven't started as of yet. A few more hoops to jump through and we should be gold for building.

On an unrelated note: Thanks for looking at my crap about 4500 times I'll be sure to put up more crap eventually :/

A little more about the artist, Shadonickles:

Well, my name's Ryan Phelps, currently 19, and living with my parents. Currently unemployed- something which I hope to rectify soon- so I spend my days working around the house, drawing, and playing lots and lots of video games. (Been doing the XBLive thing recently. Gamertag: 'Shadonickles tm' minus the apostrophes, for those interested)

I've been drawing since I was a wee kid in elementary school. I've still got a long ways to go, in my opinion, but I'm working on it. OBVIOUSLY (as with most artists these days) anime and such cartoons were the driving inspiration towards my art and still are today. I've made quite a number of (admittedly s***ty) comics, but I haven't really seen myself going anywhere professional with my art. I don't like being rushed, and I think it would probably ruin the fun for me, but hell, who knows. In any case, I draw cause I like to and I'll leave it at that.

Anyway, I've always been kinda flaky in the past about updating and stuff, but hopefully I can change that this time around.
