Okay, so this is only going to be a short journal, coz Im in pain here (not actually a joke :L)

Okay, so as of TODAY, I am officially 15! Feck yeah!

I spent about 3 hours of yesterday in A&E (accident and emergency)... Well, seeing as its my birthday today, I had my birthday party on friday - I had a load of mates come with me to lazerquest It was THE SHIZ! Anyway, so I fell over and hit my leg on a metal bar (It diddnt really hurt at the time) But anyway, on the way home It started to ache... ALOT. I looked at it and started to see a massive bruise coming up... And a MASSIVE swelling! This is on my shin, so theres not all that much flesh or whatever between the bone and the skin, so anyway, I went to bed but when I woke up in the morning I couldnt move because of my leg -I had to phone my sister to come and help me! (luckily my mobile was right next to me) and she came and got my mum and they both had a look at my leg (my sis used to be a nurse) and they thought my leg must be broken by the size of the swelling - I had pins and needles in my foot which is usually a sign that its broken, but anyway They took me to A&E to have an Xray - I got a wheelchair to go round the hospital in coz it was so bad! Anyway, so Some really cool doctors Xrayed my leg and had a look and whatnot Then they took me over to a cubicle thingy and told me what was up. Apparently, its NOT broken (hallelujah!) BUT, I have something called compartment syndrome, so the nerves and muscles in my shin are severely aggrevated... Not good! The consultant told me that if it got worse they would have to operate to relieve the pressure in my shin (slice it open ) and if its still getting worse they have to amputate me leg/foot... Im not even joking!
So ancrap, they gave me crutches to walk with and told me I had to keep my leg elevated whenever I can... Which means... *gulp*.... NO RIDING! I wouldnt mind so much, but my yard is going out of their way for me to have a special lesson today because its my birthday and I CANT GO! Suckage!

Hahaha, so, that was lovely news eh? Im okay though, just rather sore! Okay, so I got presents this morning! woot!

I GOT PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 7!!! FECK YUS! you guys do not know how long Ive been wanting PS for! No more sucky corel for Shadow! I love birthdays! ALSO, my amazing awesome fantabulous brother got me a new graphics card for my computer so everything is loads better and I can play better games! :woop:

Okay... So I just got told some really bad news on MSN by my mate that I ride with... Okay, well, about 2 months ago now, there was a new pony that came to our yard - a little chestnut Halflinger called Flynn... Well, everyone loved him at first sight - he was the kind of adorable little pony that all the little kids wanted to ride, he had beautiful high-stepping gaits, and was almost permanently on an outline... He had an amazing jump - he did 3ft and he was only about 11hh. Okay, so... I just got told (about 3 mins ago) that he was really worked up about something in his stable (Its like a corridor, with bars and wood to make stables on either side...) Okay, so apparently he tried to jump out of his stable (the stables are actually pretty small) from halt, and he got caught on the metal bar that separated his stable from the corrdor, and landed awkwardly on the concrete aisle... he shattered his front legs... And... well... He just got put down...
... I never rode this little guy, but I had to help out all the beginners that rode him - he was just the sweetest thing, and now hes gone...

I guess Im not going to get that upset about this because I dont know him that well, but Seriously... this is the Eighth horse that has died on me... Holly, Tipexe, Little Fred, Batty, Mistral, Sky and now little Flynn... Its a big reality check for me... So sorry if this journal is a little bit sketchy... Im in shock...

Hai guys

So, I thought I better tell you peeps of the recent happenings here in Shadow-ville

Okays, so, I whent to that horse rally thing on Izzy! I was so nervous! So the first day we just messed around and had a BBQ in the fields (I was camping in a tent with my friend Leah and next to another friend Steph) and in the evening, we all went out to the other fields and huggled the horses! Izzy is so amazingly beautiful! Always! So anyway, I called her and she came over to me (awww!) and she was so cute and all that - sniffing the camera! So yeah, I got a load of films of her! Then us older ones had to entertain the little guys - we set up some horse jumps in the arena and made them jump them! Then we all went to bed, and in the morning, we got out horses in and fed them and groomed them for normal riding. Then we were split up into ability groups - the younger ones, the middle ones and us advanced ones we had to lead the younger ones over the tiny little jumps (like, 1ft something! ) and then as the middle ones jumped, us advanced ones went on a hack round the forest, then we came back and watched the middle ones finish up and then it was our turn to jump! We had a free warm up, so we got to use the jumps and we had 5 mins to get ready! Then anyway, it was my turn and I was sooo nervous coz Izzy had gone hyperactive and was galloping everywhere - I got to have a walk round to calm her down, then we trotted the first few, then I took a chance and canter the rest! I was so surprised she diddnt bolt off like she did in teh warm up, but no, she was perfect as usual! My friend Leah even managed to get it all on camera!!! w00t! This was the second time we had ever jumped together! So anyway, I found out later that I won my class!!! I was well chuffed! So anyway, after that, we only had ONE HOUR to get them ready for a proper show (plaiting manes and tails, full groom, clean tack, get dressed yourselves!) Omg! I thought I was gonna faint coz it was so stuffy in out tent! I had 3 mins to get changed myself! but oh yeah! I managed to french plait her tail! So yeah, that was awesome!
I went home that day, then I slept for the next, then, we get to now!! Im riding again today - I gotta go changed in an hour! I think Im on Izzy again!

OMG!!! EYYYAHAHHHHHH!!!! I feel so amazingly happy!! *does spazzy raving dance round DA*

Okays, so you are probably wondering what the hock Im talking about?! lol! okays, well, a few of you might have read my journal before, that Im going on a PC rally with my best horsey friend; Leah! (We get to camp in the field next to the horses!) Okays, so, as you might know, I was going to ride one of the liveries (Lucy) but when I whent riding on sunday, I was on Izzy again! So, My instructress told me she had a surprise for me! So, I was riding with Leah again, and she set up some jumps for us...

SO! I took Izzy over the jumps for the first time, EVER! YAYS! She did so well, she really is a star! She knocked 2 and barged strait into one (I got that on camera!) but she never ran out once, and the rest we dis so well, it was untrue! You can see how brilliant she was!!

Oh, did I forget to mention that I made a vid of our first ever jumps together?! I even got the one where we galloped towards it, and flew over it! Seriously, you won't believe it when you look at my 3 vids of her; she has improved soo much!!!

And that isnt even the best bit!!!! Okays, so, with this horse rally that starts this Thursday, I was gonna ride Lucy for the jumping (X.C and SJ) but now I dont have to! I can ride the beautimus mare that is Izzy!!!

Okays, so, *Misaki-Fain's stallion; Balyos recently proposed to *BrindleTail's tayah Im sure we all have lots of congratulations to give them, BUT! Before the wedding there is a stud-do! (horsey stag-do) so, Ringo volunteered to organise it! If your stud would like to be a part of this do, please note me or leave a message. Its gonna be a collaboration, so, what were gonna do is one person draws their stallion (anthro form please) with Balyos and Ringo (I will provide that pic) and every person sends it on to the nest, each adding their stally to the mix!


DO NOT:

- Block someone elses character completely - you may have bits overlapping, but be fair!
- Colour over someonese's character!
- Ruin the theme! There will be something all of them have to wearing or holding... like streamers or something!

How have you all been?

Aww, I feel so happy right now!!! Okays, so a few things have happened latelt which just left my buzzing I feel so priveleged to have such awesome friends, that even share my interest with art and are even here on DA! Okays, so in tech at school (we are doing graphics atm) we are making eletronic dice (DONT ASK! ) and we got to vacuum-form our cases! I actually managed to cut Ringo's head out of cardboard and put it under the vacuum mould thing, so I have Ringo's head on my case! I got to use stickers to make his markings aswell! woot for that! lol, I put his name down the side aswell!

OMG! 5 days 'till I get to go to camp with Leah! its gonna rock major-style! Were gonna sneak out to the paddocks at like... 2am to see the horses sleeping! D'AWWW!!!
Im so excited about that! Im still persuading my mum to let me get a lease of wizzy for the holidays - We only break up on thursay this week! You americans have been off all this time! *dies* lol! lucky guys!

So yeah, I managed to persuade myself to update my journal , so many things have happened lately, so anyway, I'll start at the top!


Okays, so first, IM GOING TO MY FIRST HORSE RALLY!!! OMG YESSS!!! Im so majorly excited!!! If any of you guys have seen my latest horsey vids on youtube ([link] and [link]) You'll have seen the gorgeous mare I was riding, called IZZY!!! Lols! She is a very young strawberry roan mare, and Im helping to train her to do certain things (like jumping etc) and apparently, were doing really well together, but ANYWAY! In this video: [link] - you see the AWESOME rider who I'm riding with?? Well, thats one of my friends, and I met her on youtube!!!! lol! I asked her if she wanted to join my group, and she said yeah, so we met in rl!!! how cool is that?!?! ANYWAY! So, my stables is holding a rally in the summer holidays - for 2 days and one night - including, XC, SJ and dressage, scavenger hunts and other stuffs like that!!! I was kinda upset, coz we have to provide our own tents and I dont have one, but amazingly, leah has a massive one with 2 bedrooms and a livin space, and she offered me a room! yays! Im sharing a tent with someone I met over the internet!!! lols! So! Guess who I asked to take??? OH YEAH! IZZY. Of course! The only thing is, obviousy, we need to be able to jump at break-neck speed (Im a speed freak!) and since Izzy cant jump yet, I get to take one of the liveries! thats NOT a school horse - a horse that is owned by one of their riders! woot! That means a unspoiled horse! yays! So anyways, Im gonna be obn someone called Lucy, who I've never even met, but yeah 0-o Its gonna rock. Majorly! So, Im taking Izzy and Lucy! yays! Im taking a camera, so expect lots of pics!!!


Okays, so, I got my GCSE results thing back - and I got all the options I wanted: Triple science, Drama, Art and Cookery (we have to take a tech!) so thats funk of wheels!

EUGH!!! It was sports day today!!! I did SHOTPUT!!! WHY?!??!??!?! WHY ME?!?!? lols! Nah, it was okayyyy, I guess -.- better than sitting inside all day doing lessons! I got to sit outside all day, playing knuckles with my guy-friends and chummettes! Lols! We got (good english eh?) our own version of Knuckles - what you do, is punch the other person's fist (so you both punch at the same time) and the first person to wuss out or give up with pain (lol) is the looser! lols! being the stubborn moo I am, I just had to win, so I have very bruised hands atm - oh well! Im proud of my battle scars - I hate those flimsy little brats (girly-girls) lol - Punch beats slap any day of the week!

yays! I when to gym again todays, and that was fun! I love the gym - I seriously do! Its great fun! They even have a big hula hoop thats awesome to have a go one

Oh yeah, so I have to say, Im rather happy at the moment! I'll walk you through my day so you can see how paweome it has been!!! lol!

before I start on that, Im MEGA excited about a amazing horsey camping trip im gona go on with my bestie lol, we have agreed that we will sneak out of our tent in the middle of the night and go and see the horses while they are asleep! lol! Its gonna be so majorly awesome! I seriously cant wait! We get to do a little show at the end, and me and Wizzles have almost perfected our canter and outline! Its awesome! She still has a good buck when ever we do it, but she is young, so she is still learning

Okay, so when I woke up this morning it was a usual day, you know, just normal school, but I woke up late so i only had 20 mins to get ready for school yay for me! Anycrap, I got to school and first we had IT - that was fun, I got to annoy my friends and you know, the usual next, we had francais, or french to you and me Lol, I sit next to this boy who has SERIOUS anger issues, so yeah, i like to tease him about that, but anyway, we got to watch the DaVinci code, then we had science, which was good, then maths, which was awesome - MAN SPRAY!!! lol, you'd have to be there, but the jist is someone asked me something and I shouted man spray!!! That was funny, I got to have a bitch to my chummettes, (always good to have a healthy bitch ) yeah, then we had out mock physics GCSE. This is where my day got better! I think I did well in my test, I diddnt skip anything, but yeah, I think it went well It was interesting to see who found it hard or easy 0-o rofl, but then, on to the IMMENSE bit! So yeah, I started Drama club after school today...

MY NAME IS JIMMY!!! w00t! lol, so I was with these pwnsome peeps in drama, so I got to actually be myself - very loud and apparently, even though Im scottish, I have a welsh accent!!! wohay!!! So yeah, I got to be this old lady who was part of the W.I and a boy morris dancer, how cool is that?!?!? lol, I was with these great peeps and we were all doing welsh accents!!!

So yeah, I had a fabulous day today

Lol, Im in love with a horse!!! Aww, but seriously, if you knew her, you would too! Well, her name is Izzy, and she is a strawberry roan mare... yeah, I know - cooincidence?? lol! Anyway, She is only a baby and she is still learning how to do alot of basic moves. She has still to conquer the canter-on-command and jumping is out the window at the moment - she hasnt learnt that she is meant to go over the jump... LOL! But yeah, she is such a sweetheart, and Im training her to canter and eventually jump. She is just so amazing to me... She is perfect! A little baby! Anyway, so I really love riding and being around her, so I asked my parents is I am allowed to lease her!!!!!!!! ZOMG!!!!
So anyway, they said 'See how much it costs' and if its good I get to lease this wonderfull lump'o'horse!!!

What you get in a lease is you get to ride like... 2 or three times a week and you can do whatever you want - its kinda like a share, but the riding school owns her. I would get to take her to shows and stuff like that, so it would be awesome!!! Anyway, take a look at the video: [link] and you will be able to see her and me in action! I know she isnt everyone's idea of 'erfect' - her back is long and her neck is short, but to me, she is perfection. Please dont crit her, because she rocks

Yeah, so, what does everyone think of my new, more realistic style of drawing horses? (That last pic of Ringo) Should I keep it or go back to my old one?? Personally, I prefer my newest one, as it is more... me... :/ lol, but anyway - what do you think??

Okay guys, I just wanted to post a journal to tell you of the recent happenings!

ZOMG!!! AMAZING NEWS!!!!! Okay, so I was just looking at my stats for some random reason, and I saw... 250 watchers!!! ZOMG!!! Im a quarter of the was to 1,000!!! w00t! Okay, so to commemorate this w00tish news, Im going to be making a gifty for my 250th watcher! ~Equinoart!!!

So, right now we are having our kitchen re-done, to hopefully make the price of our house go up if we sell it! Its great fun! Okays, so, I just wanted to point out that the conest is being held by me, but not on this account.
~The-spartan-herd is my fanclub / Ringo appreciation thing, so, Im going to be holding the contest on there!!! There is already an outstanding contest, which is to make an avatar (animated or not) for the club - All you have to do to be a member, is to watch the club - thats it! And you can participate as much, or as little as you like I'd appreciate any watches you can give You never know -you might be the next featured artist!!!

So anyway, about this new contest! What you have to do, is make a picture (it an be digital or traditional) of a member (any member) of the Spartan herd (Maverik's or Ringo's) - BUT, you have to stick to some rules!! The theme is crazey - it can be as wacky and as strange as you like - UNLEASH THE DEVIANTS!!! - lol, so yeah! Good luck!!

So, as you probably know if you read my last journal, I went on holiday to Egypt for a week, leaving last thursday, and getting back yesterday - I had planned to do my journal yesterday, but I got back home at 2am (this morning), and I was thoroughly nackered! Its great to see so many deviations, messages and new watchers - thankyou to all of you!!!

Err, well, Im going to start with an apology. I know I havent been the most active member of DA recently, but Im trying to change that - I hope to put up more of my crappy art (because I can! ) - and get more involved - I muight even get a chance to take part in a few more trades/comps after my waiting list is finished - I am well aware that many of you are owed alot of art from me - including ~tacossayhola, *HorseyWings and =laceymay14 - no, I havent forgotten!!!

Its a little bit hectic at the moment -I hope you can understand why Im not as active as I could be - I have SATs next month, as well as a physics GCSE in May. Eugh - I feel so clogged down with revision and such - Its so boring!!! Im really scared about my maths SAT that im doing on the 5th - Maths is my worst subject, and I just know Im going to get a below avarage, and a fail... ooohhhhhh.... I hate maths, AND school. Dammit.

I realy have to get my act together and cram, do all the art requested, and all that shiz - as you can see, Im really stressed so I'll try not to vent at and flame you guys, but if I do snap or say something bad, just ignore me -I dont mean it. Its a tough time at the moment, with family issues, and trust issues etc. I just cant wait for school to be over. -.-

So, about Egypt! It was amazing - its the second time I have been, and it was the best! All of my family came with me, and for those of you who know me,will know that my siblings dont live with me and I hardly ever see them, to that was amazing - we could actually be together again for it. That was the best part. Anywhoot, I visited loads of places, including Cairo, Luxor, Sharm el Sheikh, Jordan etc. - It was great! I saw loads of wild camels, donkeys and goats - it was awesome!!! At this place Petra, (a whole city carved out of boulders and rocks - seriously, the detail is amazing - one of the monuments took 40 years to build!) - There was horse riding - about 30 horses were all tied up, and there was a road-like-thing alongside the walking path for the horses! For a small fee you could ride the horses along this track (about 5 mins at trot)!!! I really wanted to, but my parents said no as there wernt helmets! Dammit! But the horses were of Egyptian Arabian breed and they were so gorgeous! It was strange though - some of the horses had scars etc, but none of them looks reaaly ill/lame, and I saw afterwards, that the track was owned by The Brooke! (The Brooke is a horse charity) It was amazing - there were foals and mares at rest up on the monuntains you could see in the background! it was amazing!

As well as that, I saw the Sphinx and some Pyramids! I even got to go inside one of the Pyramids!!! lol, some of you might know that I am extremely chlostrophobic, and the entrance was very small - you had to crawl down a small passage/ramp that led diagonaly down and forward -0 that was shiz scary! Seriously, the tiny lights were really far apart, and by the timer you got the the Pharoah's chamber, it was really hot, there was a big shortage of Oxygen and the people were all crammed in together - There wasnt even a escape route. Seriously, this was the worst experiance of my life, but even so, Im glad I did it - at least now I can say I have been inside a pharoah's chamber!


So anywhoot, sorry its been long, but Its finished now!

Hahaha, I'll be back next thursday! Eugh, I gotta get up really early (5pm) and catch a cruddy plane to Egypt, then Im getting on a cruise ship!!! YAY!!! I can probably uploads a few pics of the holiday when I get back if all you guys want!

ANYWHOOT!!! So, I know I havent been doing much, deviation wise as of late, but that will soon change - alot has happened lately (Which i will tell you about!! ) so ye-haaaaaaaaaa,,,, On with the gossip and stuffs!!!

Nextly, I was talking to my mum today on the way home from Gleneagles (where I ride) and I was saying that although it is an amazing place, I have been riding for 10 years now, and I think I have pretty much learnt all they are capable to teach me on the riding school horses. They are great for beginners, but when you know what you are doing, you need more of a challenge.... you know what I mean??? So anyway...

NAVICULAR!!! lol *note to self - REMEMBER IT!!!* lol - the navicular is the tiny bone behind the pedal bone in the hoof. I ALWAYS forget it!!! EUGH!!! (Im learning about horses' skeletal structures at the stables)

I have about 9 pics on teh go at the moment, Ill see how quickly I can get them finished - will be soon hopefully!!!

I feel so free at the moment - I can realy be myself!!! Its strange!!! But hey - \Why question happiness???

yes, lol - its true!

Anywho!
I have decided to (after being inspired by =Zolby) make IDs for people!!!
So, what I'll do, is get you to give me a picture of yourself, (head or whole body!) and I will put your character in the picture with you! If you give me a picture of yourself... say sitting on the arm of a sofa (like your riding a horse) I can make it so your riding your character!!! Seriously - This will be great fun! AND I will get to learn what you look like!!
Sadly, I can onnly do about 5 at the moment, and I'll see how that goes - if all is good - I will do more!!! To have your ID made in the first 5, just post me a message!!! (first come, first served!) also, please have a refference of your character handy in your gallery!

SNOW!!! OMG!!!! School was closed for monday and tuesday this week as we had SNOW OMGOMGOMG!!! lol - I have never seen (that I can remember ) thick snow, that ACTUALLY SET!!! lol - this is the thickest snow in England for 20 years! Its like... 5inches deep in some places!!! So, naturally, I had to make my favourite white stallion out of snow!!! Lol - It was alll going well untill my evil little dog: Jed, decided he would like to URINATE on it!!! EUGH!!!!! That dog is such a noob!!! SO anyway, after that, I decided I diddnt want to touch it!! but YAY! snow!!! at the moment, its all slushy everywhere where its melting, but apparently, its gonna snow more tonight, and loads on friday! YAY... only bad thing, is riding was cancelled coz none of the riders could make it to the stables coz we were being advised not to go outside on the roads if its not completely nessisary - LOL!!!



In other news - Alot of people have been asking me for a new tutorial vid on youtube - so ofcourse Ill give it meh best shot!!! It will be up asap, so Ill try not to draw on my hands too much Have patience my little lambs!!!!
