I've discovered, recently and personally, one of the best ways to get over the "i'm alone on valentines day" blues is this(by the way this most likely only works if you're female. sorry guys ): take out one of your best buds, find a bold, rocking new dress unlike anything you have in your closet, buy it, pair with some uber smexy patent leather black 3 inch heels, and go dance your socks off.

Don't have somewhere to go dancing? Go buy something new, bold and rocking anyways and make an event out of being single. Heck, wolf down a chocolate cake or a tub of ice cream or something whilst watching a movie in your pj's. Do whatever it takes man.

You know, I found it quite hilarious how the past couple years there's been this hullabaloo about "merry christmas" being "politcally incorrect" and "offensive to non-believers in christmas". Oh noes. Someone's wishing you a good time, good health, and all around goodness.

Yes I know of the all the reasons why. I personally respect anyone who is of a different culture/belief system/ religion. Makes no difference to me how they do or do not celebrate any traditions they may have. As long as there's nothing illegal involved. Mhm..

ANYWAYS. Had to have my own little opinion rant there.

I'm so very terrible at being active around here. Seriously. Unfortunately it may get worse. I recently (two months ago or so ) became engaged. and moved out. and moved back. and now am planning a wedding. plus christmas present buying and holiday-taking. And work. Yay life!

REally hectic. o_o moving in april, work, rehersal (now over and done with~), school, social life, yaddya yadda yadda. Haven't even been drawing for my comic, Angels of the Fallen. gah. well! Once my family and I are all moved into that new house and I find my drawing shtuffs, that shall continue!
On another note: after browsing through and studying the works of several other artists, I've decided to utterly re-dedicate myself to designing, practising, drawing, and developing all aspects of my Angels of the Fallen. Angles, perspective, character design, plot, etc. Hasnt been good enough. Hohoho nooo. not nearly. Hence stretching my brain with my new sketchbook. One of these days i'll get up the mustre to scan the images. ... stupid tiny scanner.

Woe is me.

So i finally started 's (?) 100 theme word challenge. Problem is, i did three pictures.. which took me a long time.. and now i'm discontent. o_o Methinks i shall redraw them *is a glutton for punishment*
Apparently they're all supposed to have a common theme. I was gonna do my friend 's characters from her story line, Kismet: Will of the Gods, mostly as motivation to start drawing them again, but after using a few of my own characters... I've had a change of heart. I just seem better able to draw fancy-pants pictures using the Angels of the Fallen cast. *sigh* Oh the decisions.

I have.. the first three drawn. Not colored, either. Just inked. xD GO ME! It doesn't help that i've come down with a bad case of inspiration lately. I just keep drawing pictures that have nothing to do with it. Mind you, I tend to get this way every fall. It's just such a marvellously beautiful season, one can't help but be artistically inspired.

Well that's a lie. I have one complete picture and a bunch of lineart. And new prismacolor markers to add even more scrumptious colour! YAY.

Basically i'm writing this for the .. three?.. people who actually know I exist on deviantart. The numbers may be small, but that just makes them count more! (that's what i keep telling myself anyways )

I should do some really awesome fanworks and send them to my favorite, massively popular artists and get them to feature my art in their journals. Always a good strategy.. albeit a rather sneaky one. ... mwhahaha.

I dont think I'll post that for a long time yet, because I don't have photoshop and i don't have a tablet, so all I have the patience for right now is to sketch out the comic in pencil. ^-^
