Edward, why the hell did you shove Bella into the shelf of breakable stuff? You're such a crap boyfriend; ew, gross, she sucks at emotional breakdown; mmmm, shirtless guys; is it just me or are the sparkle effects more annoying than they were last film?; ahahaha that action film dialogue; Edward put a shirt on, nobody wants to see your naked chest; hahahaha elevator scene; ooh, that's the dude from Sanctuary, isn't he a vampire or something in that, too?; mmmm, Cameron Bright; lol @ "It'd be nice to not want to eat you all the time"; ...dude, that "cliffhanger" is so not impressive.

Wall of text aside, there's another thing I'd like to address here. Everyone complains about the sparkling. I mean, okay, even I complain about the sparkling, but wouldn't you complain about ridiculous ~*~beams of light~*~ and shimmery sound effects? That's not my main complaint with it, though. No, my main complaint is how everyone in-universe takes it so seriously.

I mean, "This is the skin of A KILLER!!!1!" *sparkle sparkle sparkle* Yeah, no. I'm sorry, but I can't take that seriously.

It would have made much more sense if that entire scene had gone more like this:

"Bella, you know I'm a vampire and that I can't kiss you without wanting to eat your face off, but there's more you need to know."

(Really it's more like bake sales need baked goods, so somebody's got to bake them, but, uh...) Anyway, I feel like sharing, so here's the recipe for the cookies I'm baking right now!

Really Easy Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:
- one (1) regular-sized tub of Cool Whip, thawed
- one (1) regular-sized box of cake mix
- one (1) egg
- powdered sugar

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Put Cool Whip in a bowl. Add egg and cake mix
- Mix Cool Whip, egg, and cake mix until combined. You'll know it's ready when it's kind of sticky and really hard to stir.
- Pour some powdered sugar into a bowl!
- Use two spoons (you can use your hands if you want, but it's way messier) to put scoops of the cookie dough into the bowl of powdered sugar, roll them till they're covered in sugar, then put them on a cookie sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
(Makes three to four dozen cookies.)

This is like my favorite cookie recipe ever, because it's so easy, and because you can make your cookies any flavor you want, so long as you can find a similarly-flavored cake mix! Like spice cake, or lemon, or chocolate, or devil's food, or rainbow...

...I made rainbow ones.

1 - Is incredibly lazy. Like, "I'm too lazy to do this myself, so I'll get someone else to do it and expend more effort in that attempt than it would have taken to just do it myself" kind of lazy.

19 - Is still totally into Pokémon, Digimon, Dragon Ball/Z, and Sailor Moon, things that she has tried to watch watched for over ten years.
20 - Actually had to sneak watching Pokémon, because when her dad still lived at her house, Pokémon (and Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, though her Yu-Gi-Oh phase didn't start until after so it didn't really matter) was banned.
21 - Almost wishes that every problem on Earth could be solved with proper application of high explosives, except that then she'd be like her brother.
22 - Generally believes that things can exist just to exist, and that there's usually nothing wrong with doing things just because.
23 - Cried while watching the 2009 Star Trek film. Both times she saw it.
24 - Had great fun in trekking in a parade of nine to the movie theatre in the next town (that really should just let itself be eaten by her city, really, it's practically a part of it anyway) to go see Transformers 2; her only regret was that the parade wasn't bigger. When I was young I was often yelled at whenever my father discovered my latest acquisition of pokémon cards. I make up for it by purchasing starter decks now and never doing anything with them. xD;

I don't like Zexion/Demyx because it's almost always written badly. I just can't get into it, because all the Zemyx I see makes me think, "They wouldn't do this. This isn't them."

Uhhhhh... let me get back to you on that one, haha. I can't think of anyone. I mean... maybe ~Saku-and-Bo or ~Tigrera5793? I don't know, though, haha.

Haha, well... that's tough. I haven't gotten to any of their shared scenes in-game yet - I probably shouldn't even know Ryoji exists yet, and especially not how things end up for him. Any relationship between him and Minato would end up angsty, poor boys. But I think if they just spent what time they did have happily, that would be ideal. <3

Not... very long, honestly. I didn't really get behind it until I read Jacob's bit in Breaking Dawn; once I saw what it was like in his head, I understood him a lot better. It kind of makes me wish it would actually work out between Jake and Bella...

I don't even know. It just kind of... happened? I don't know.

Klavier/Apollo or Mitsuru/Aki/Shinji? Uhm... probably K/A. I like hurt/comfort, and there's more of it with them than with the super senpai team.

Between Minato/Yukari and Phoenix/Kristoph, I'm going to have to pick Minato/Yukari because I like well-written Phoenix/Kristoph. I don't know if the Lovers slink gives Yukari some major change-of-heart or whatever, but I seriously think she is a bitch and cannot stand her and don't see the basis for shipping her with MC besides "She's the female lead!" which doesn't even work because she isn't.

Avatars are kind of like Personae, in that they're sort of like another side of the user. From that point of view, I find the relationship between Epitaph User and Avatar downright fascinating, because it's like the character's relationship with his or herself. ...or maybe I'm just weird like that. -shrug-


10.) When did you stop liking #7?
I got out of fandom, basically. It really easy to not ship something when you're not constantly bombarded with it. I still kind of like Sora/Riku, but I also don't really see the point in it. I mean... they're friends. That doesn't mean that they have to be in each others' pants.


11.) Did your waning interest in #9 kill your interest in the show?
Haha, I already didn't like the book by the time I stopped liking Jake/Nessie. It didn't really cause the dislike to grow or diminish.

This means that I'm dragging a certain someone to the thrift store will me to look for a pair of shortalls! ...you know, eventually. When I get more money. Since buying The World Ends With You totally wiped me out. Oops.

I haven't been doing much artsy stuff lately, which is kind of sad. No, that attempt at Subaseka style doesn't count.

Stripes make me feel trendy. I'm wearing this striped cardigan right now and I feel really trendy and I don't know why. (Also, I feel like Rhyme. Oops. It's these PE shorts, I'm certain.)

You know, I wish that in The World Ends With You, whenever you dressed up your characters, their sprites looked like it. Mostly because I'm sure Josh would look really gay right now, since he's decked out in Natural Puppy. At least it's not Lapin Angelique... but that would suit Neku better. >x3

...maybe? She's not the most graceful thing on two legs, but she's more scatter-brained than klutzy, so it could.

I'm going to be unoriginal with this answer, but in a lamer way, since I don't remember the names of the properties I'm using.

If x = 7 + 3, and 7 = Jaden and 3 = Ariane, then we can say that x = Jaden + Ariane. Since 7 + 3 = 10 and Ashton = 10, we can also say that x = Ashton. Thusly, we can say that Ashton = Jaden + Ariane. (Personally, I think there's a hidden Ledouch in there somewhere.)

8.) You are falling from 8,952 feet in the air. You can either land on, and kill, 3 or 5. Who do you choose?

Particularly when no one could guess that Saku was dressed as Edward. I mean, there's only one short-haired ginger character in the entire series, so of course it makes sense that you'd go through every male vampire, and a few humans as well, and not manage to come up with the one name that was actually correct!

Make it a big one, the biggest you can possibly find.

Then put Great Britain in it. It should fit whole if the bowl is big enough; if it doesn't, you can break it into pieces.

Add some Gundam SEED now. It doesn't matter if it's the first season or Destiny because both will work equally well - just make sure not to get hit by the Gundams.

Next into the bowl is .hack//G.U. It's important that you get all the characters in there, if nothing else. Watch out for Sakaki, though, he might go all AIDA on you if you aren't careful.

Add a dash of CLAMP - the new CLAMP, not the old. We're talking the xxxHOLiC and Tsubasa CLAMP (as fun as the Tokyo Babylon and Legal Drug CLAMP would be).

Now you're going to want to mix it together. Use a wooden spoon and just stir and stir until everything's incorporated.

Pour it into a casserole dish and put it into a 350 degree oven for half an hour.

I wander around the middle of the bookstore, hopelessly lost and hoping to find my mother. I find her exactly where I thought I would - in the mystery/horror section. (THAT, at least, hasn't moved.) "Mother!" I cry. "The teen section - and the graphic novel section - they've VANISHED!"

We walk around, looking for the wayward shelves. Finally I look up and see the 'Graphic Novels' sign marking their location - "That's one section, at least," I sigh in relief. When I get closer, I realize something else: the teen shelf is right in front of the graphic novel shelf! "Hurrah!" I think. "My two favorite sections, now right next to each other!"

"I can understand why they'd move them," my mother says. "It would be harder for people to walk out with them when they're so deep in the store." I agree with her, and note the location of other nearer sections: the DVDs, the CDs, and the art instruction books. All things that I usually buy! And now they're all closer together! It's like paradise, I think!




I then notice the nerdy-looking bespectacled teenager sitting on the bench reading manga. A thought strikes me just then: "Now there will be ill-mannered kids reading manga blocking the manga section, AND the teen section! D:
And in the end, they had but one of the four books I was searching for. I bought it, of course - what ELSE would I do? - but when asked by the well-meaning cashier if I'd found everything I was looking for, I very pointedly stated, "No."

I may never return to that Borders again. Besides, Barnes and Noble more often has what I'm looking for when Borders does not - going there straight off will save time.

This journal was not an excuse to use Ten objecting. Really.

I restarted one of them coughKH2cough last weekend, and... restarted the second one yesterday. That one just happens to be Xenosaga: Episode One. My history with this game was sketchy: I first played it when I borrowed it from Julian in sixth grade, but I couldn't get past the Gnosis invasion on the Woglinde - I kept getting killed because I couldn't figure out what to do. This was before I could easily access the Internet, so I gave it back and completely forgot about it, until I saw it again at a local GameStop while looking for a copy of... something (I forget what, exactly) to give ~Saku-and-Bo for some random occasion. I restarted it, and... got stuck in exactly the same place. ):<

And then I restarted it yesterday. I made a point of going online to get exactly what I had to do to, you know, not die way at the beginning and then followed those instructions. It turned out to be really easy, and once I got past it, I couldn't stop playing. So I've spent pretty much the last two days, uhm... doing absolutely nothing but playing Xenosaga. (Well, that and Star Trek: Encounters, but that's a story for another time.) You people can certainly generate a lot of messages in two days, did you know?

Not that I've ever, you know, made costumes before or anything. Nor would I be able to actually, you know, make it - I have no idea where the sewing machine is, and no idea how to use it besides, and I'm more or less broke. The fifty-odd in my digital camera fund does not count.

So I'm kind of in a pickle, really. Because, really. How awesome would it be to go around dressed as Roxas?

Still mildly cheesed at Sora's naivety. Still really pretty cheesed at how Axel went from asshat to complete lamer.

I just got back from seeing it again. 8D! It is still pretty awesome. I may get to see it again Friday, but I'm not getting my hopes up. That would be cool, though... My mother is going to force me to watch Home for the Holidays with her the next time it's on, physically if necessary, simply because Robert Downey, Jr. is in it. She says his character is rather similar. I'm interested, now. x:

Also, apparently the kid from the 1983 film A Christmas Story is in Iron Man. Plays some character named William. Honestly, I don't remember. x: Oh, and did anyone see The DaVinci Code? Remember the guy who played the albino? He's also in Master and Commander, I think. And... A Bard's Tale? (Is that what it's called? I remember watching it in my seventh grade World History class, anyway...) Yeah. He voices Jarvis, the computer. <3! Awesome, really.

And now for some numbers. See, my Health teacher is weird. And when I say weird, I mean insane. She encourages this sort of thing:

"Oh my God! That guy...! Did you see that? Just now? That guy! He was smoking! I CLEARLY SAW the cigar he was holding! Did you see that?! All the children! All the ones who might ever watch this movie, ever! Their minds! They'll be traumatised for the rest of their lives! Do you hear me? FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES!!! These film makers! They're evil! They're brainwashing our children! BRAINWASHING!!! . . ."

Yeah. That sort of thing. (I'm exaggerating, but only slightly.) So imagine my chagrin when someone comes in complaining about how a guy was smoking a cigar in Iron Man. Oh no! I've seen that movie twice! THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE SMOKING IN THAT FILM! O: I'm now TWICE as likely to develop an addiction to nicotine now, just because there were TWO WHOLE INSTANCES OF SMOKING IN THE FILM!! And... NOEZ! There were THREE WHOLE SCENES WITH DRINKING! D:I'M NOW THREE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO BECOME AN ALCOHOLIC THAN I WAS AT FIVE IN THE EVENING TODAY!

Yeah. That was mostly sarcasm. Not the numbers; there were actually two instances of smoking and three instances of alcohol consumption. Pffft. Big freaking deal. Characters smoke! That's how you tell the bad guys from the good guys, you know? And Tony Stark? He's a player! Players drink! At social gatherings? People drink at those! In executive offices? PEOPLE DRINK THERE. If I was worried about any sort of subliminals in that film, I'd worry more about the blatant BK Lounge advertising than the legal drug use.

Though I did see the ad for Death Note again, and I was reminded of L's habit of, you know, consuming only things that are at least 80% sugar. Maybe I should mention that to Ms. Bega? Just to see her reaction? Or maybe mention the Burger King thing. Both would be equally fun.

The Verdict: Go see this movie. Go see it if it's the last thing you do. You're not likely to regret it. (:
