I've re-edited (or rather edited in the first place -ducks head-) both Betrayal of Trust & Roses and Shadows .. they'll be fully published on Lulu along with the collection of Rae & Danny's Stories. The former set is waiting to be shipped for review while the latter set is waiting until I've gotten all of the new illustrations done. Then it will be sent off and shipped back for review.. I figure it'll be another month until it can come out, probably..

Next to be written then hopefully published is Storms on the Horizon .. I'm probably going to skip Ghosts in Smoky Visions to write one of the others instead, since I don't have the best grasp on it .. I'm probably going to change the plot and stuff hehe -cough- but, I have 4 of the 13 Drag Shergi Mysteries published now. I hope to finish them all next year. I have .. so many non-series books I have to write .. but, these series are nice because each section is a short yet complete story that builds through the series into an epic novel. Whoo!

I hope everyone had a fun holiday time
We're between Christmas and New Years now ..

Approximately at midnight, my grandmother passed away. She'd been taken of life-support earlier on Saturday. For a little while she remembered how to breathe, but it wasn't enough. The stroke just did too much damage.

THE FUNERAL IS July 7-8 .. which means I'll pretty much be gone from July 6-9 .. with work its going to be more insane that week sadly

The story centers around Rune in her search for her brother. The youth Arien discovers this quite on accident. Together, the two travel as both the hunters and the hunted. What will happen when Rune finally finds her brother? Her task is to end his corrupt actions.. by any means possible..

Oh yeah, and Living Dead Girl is poking through publication.. working with Lulu is okay, but I don't have the technology to fix up the PDFs all pretty -pouts- so it prints out weird ..

Also a lot more has happened over the month. The time at the Angel Museum didn't go so well. The time at the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator didn't go well either. -sigh- Sadly working at Staples has gotten more money in the one week I've worked there than a season of trying to promote my works. My brother's graduation is soon, so I'll be visiting there.

It is the last in the Rae & Danny Stories. I'm done with those characters now, except for with art and references in other books. The newest novel is 290 pages. It can be ordered early from the publisher's website, or when it comes to the major booksellers in 1-3 months you can buy there. I'm quite happy, as this is the 13th book I have published.

Destiny in a Mask has also made it past editing to the publishing portion. Hopefully it will be through the publishing quickly and out for sale in 2-4 months.

Living Dead Girl: A Drag Shergi Mystery and House of Chaos are both still in editing. I have everything done for the first in terms of the cover and formatting, so hopefully it will be done soon. For the second I haven't made a cover yet, though the main piece for the artwork is there. I'm happy to finally get more done. As they are through Lulu rather than Xlibris, I can't estimate on the timeline.

Finally, I've gotten t-shirts from the printer, so I put them up in my Etsy shop. I stumbled across an advertisement here on DeviantArt and found a new place. The amount of items offered is like a wonderland, with prices quite decent as well. It's called MachineBaby .. my public shop is [link] and there is another shop I'm planning to use with my E-bay in hopes of selling. My E-bay is houseofshakkathi which already has all of the books I've published so far on it as well as random things I'm selling in the hopes that selling my personal items will get some cash so I can pay for living expenses .. Dx its getting really bad out here. But I'm hopeful!

With the two next closest to done books Living Dead Girl: A Drag Shergi Mystery and House of Chaos I'm still pushing to finish the first and I'm waiting for my other editor for the second ... Those I'm publishing through Lulu but since I'm doing it all myself it'll be a trip @.@

I've added a bunch more of the book art to the SpreadShirt shop and I've even found another t-shirt place called VistaPrint which I'm going through for t-shirts for my Etsy shop and my sales irl both by myself and at the Beloit Fine Arts Incubator.

I've also opened a merchandise shop of sorts.. The plates are at the Fine Arts Incubator in my hometown in Wisconsin, but other things are in the Etsy shop as well as the things here on DeviantArt. With the subject of selling things, I've opened a shop on Etsy .. [link] .. in there I sell my books as well as a few art pieces. I plan to sell bowls and plates with my art printed on them there as well. The prints of the originals can be gotten here on deviantart still.

My publisher Xlibris has annoyed me beyond the point where it can be saved. I will publish the companion/following book to [i]A Call to Arms[/i] as well as the prequel of [i]The End of a Beginning[/i] with them to round out the sets.. but after that I think I'll move on to Lulu. I haven't figured out how to get my books and so on into the correct files for moving through publication, but hopefully it will cut down on the publishing cost as well as the time between writing and publication. I hope to get [i]Queries to Generations[/i] and [i]Destiny in a Mask[/i] through publication by the summer time.

Also, I've noticed Barnes & Nobles has me on their listing, but not for selling -sigh- Amazon is the best store to get my books other than the publisher Xlibris. I'm not sure about Borders status

Meanwhile, I'm plugging along with the two newest books Queries to Generations and Destiny in a Mask .. The first is in another editor cause my grandma had her second stroke almost two months ago now.. -sighs- she was helping me but probably can't for a while now if she can again. She's doing well though which is wonderful. The second book I'm in the second to the last chapter. I keep having brain freezes on what to write..but its coming along heh. Hopefully it will be done for editing so both can be published this year. I'm working on starting a third and forth for publishing later or for holding back to try for other publishers. My current one is annoying me for a multitude of reasons, but it was a good run.

Sunday we leave about 3pm after trying to get going starting at 9am .. Get to stopping place at 2am -grandparents condo- have not got the right outside door keys so we try buzzing the neighbors.. no answer.. Go to hotel for the remainder of the night, sleep from 3am to 7am then on the road again. Got to the retirement home where grandma and grandpa are at. It was an ok place, stayed in a guest suite .. had to share a foldout bed with sister, not so happy.. Monday night grandmother falls and breaks her hip..spend most of the day trying to get her to the hospital and find out what happened exactly. Tuesday is funeral for uncle and also running around all day with cousins from both Michigan and Arizona trying to find out what happened to grandma. Call the hospital and get the run-around, then go to the hospital and get the run-around. Wednesday now has come, notified that the condo where we were going to be sleeping is apparently leaking water to the one below.. still no way to get into it. Finally get to see grandma, after having surgery to put a pin into her broken hip to hold it together for healing. Then thursday rolls around, spend the entire morning driving between the retirement home and the condo trying to find ANY keys which could possibly fit for the condo doors.. After 5 hours everything is sorted out.. the leak doesn't seem to be coming from the grandparents condo, but who knows cause the plumber had to leave after waiting for over an hour for us to get there for the appointment only to be denied access afterwards because of the no-keys situation. Then we went home and after 8 hours of driving we are here. There was more which happened inbetween but I forgot most of it..

That's the 411 on my 5? days of being gone .. whee -goes to catchup on sleep-

SO heh besides losing most of my mind.. xD
I have gone through my stuff and started printing out new versions of the digital artings .. its amazing how different pictures look depending on the paper o.o;

Neh also the book (Abridged and edited version >.>; bah restrictions) Betrayal of Trust ( [link] ) is being put together by the publishing company Xlibris. The 'companion' book Roses and Shadows ( [link] ) is going to be sent in friday (hopefully). BOT is the first book in the series about the sister Rae .. and RAS is the first book in the series about her twin brother Danny. Lotsa 'family' stuff .. BOT has almost no romantic type entanglements but ROS has er a lot more.. For the confused ones who have read both stories, yes they are in the same castle but its big enough (plus enchantments =o) which make it so they never run into each other..

I handed in House of Chaos ( [link] ) to my prof to read over the weekend .. its going to be (hopefully) the text I'm illustrating for my final exam in Drawing II ... But I'm kinda afraid of how she's going to take the subject matter.. I er have this really screwed up family I wanted to write about, but not include any magic, resurrections, etc.. but still have plenty of action, comflict, and resolution..

I'm cleaning out my stuff to prepare for moving .. I got about 80 of those tiny CD cases and a dozen twin CD cases to put all my DVDs into and damn if the total space taken up isn't at least a fourth of what it was o_o;

I'm behind on starting drawings and stuff I've promised people but I will get them up soon >.o I hope anyway.. Part of the reason for the slowness is cause my parent's scanner took the place of my own scanner and now that I don't have it the programs which use scanners aren't working X.x ..think (hope) I fixed it now

Heh heh sorry had to do that. Um lesse tons of homework to do (almost done with all of it, just they're in different stages of done-ness x.o) and the arts almost done, just religion and english are harsh..
