I've been very busy with Uni, Work, and I've just felt generally lazy. Recently quit WoW, because it was getting in the way of real life, and I've done quite a bit of artwork, but again laziness gets in the way of me uploading it.

University is going well... when I go. Its an hour and a half trip there and back, and sometimes it doesn't feel worth going. I get home sometimes and feel unfulfilled. I was under the impression that when one starts higher education, one learns something.... I'm just coming home feeling more confused then when I went that morning.

Works not helping either... to fit in with my timetable, I have to work Fridays and Saturdays. But with Christmas coming up, I'm having to pull extra Sundays too... which is exhausting me, and leaving me feeling not up to much.

However, I'm pulling through... a hot bath and I'll be right in to time.

Totally looking forward to christmas. My mum is getting me a Wii... just me! Not to share with my brother! Because when we got a PS3 last year, my brother stole it away in to his smelly, dark, dank bedroom, and wouldn't let me near it. So my mums getting me a Wii, so that I can have it. Hes not going anywhere near it after Christmas.... he can have 1 game of MarioKart, then he can bog off

Anyway. More work to come soon, I just have to find the energy to pull my scanner out of my cupboard.... really need to invest in a computer desk one of these days.

Anyone else had trouble with 'World of Warcraft'? For some reason my lvl 24 Night Elf Priest has taken over my life... lol. But do be expecting some drawings of her. I've just come out of hospital too. I've not had anything SERIOUSLY wrong with me, but its do do with that recurring problem I had last February. So now I'm laid up on my front with stitches in my back, with two weeks off university and work.... with nothing to do for the first few days. I'm gonna do some uni work, when I'm able to lay any other way, but right now, I'm still a little sleepy. So its going to have to wait. I'm been ULTRA busy. I've got my university, work and family all piled on me this month. I'm nearing the end of my first project at uni, the christmas rush has hit my work, and every other spare minute I have I'm either spend sleeping or spending time with my boyfriend. God knows where I find a minute to do my christmas shopping. So far I have presents for my mum and brother.... but I still need some for my boyfriend, my dad, my mums fiance, my dads fiance, my grandma, and my best friends. MY COMPUTER GO BOOM! Thanks to some unfortunate circumstances (mostly Norton being a $£"$%&, I'm currently without computer... other than this one I'm on right now. Therefore I might not be on-line as often as I normally am. This is quite annoying... but can't be helped.

On a brighter note, this weekend I'm going down to London for the MCM Expo. I'm so excited! I'm only going for the Saturday, as I need to come home by the Monday for my Birthday! I'm going to be 20! MG:

Then the weekend after I'm off to my Grandmas for a Halloween Party (I'm gonna be a Corpse Bride!), and then the day after that, I've going to my boyfriends family Anniversary/Sister's Birthday Party. Then a few days later my family is having a Bonfire Night Party too!!! And in between all this, I have university and work! I'm gonna be knackkered. Phew...

And on another crazy note... I did a huge night of Oblivion he other night.... and accidentally (yep... you heard me... accidentally!) became a vampire! Which strangely enough... I didn't want. HUGE Hellsing fan, yet I hate being a vampire on a game.... its just really annoying. First she's aged like 100 years! Secondly I have to keep feeding, or I get hurt by sunlight.

Now I must leave as my stupid brother is throwing a hissy fit, because I'm using HIS computer. Little idiot!

Yet! I'm still being battered by bad luck I'm feeling under the weather and so run down its unbelieveable (I think mainly due to my brothers surprise 16th birthday... which ruled! I cosplayed as Dorothy ) But I realy feel terrible . I have a horrible runny nose, and feel so tired... and its affecting my asthma.

My back has cleared up now... which is a relief. It sometimes hurts if I sit down too hard, but other then that, I feel fine. At lest I'm not in line for another operation, which I didn't really want. I was sick last time, and they wouldn't let me leave until they were sure that I wouldn't be ill again. I don't want to be stuck in a hosiptal from 7:30 am, till 6:00 pm again.

AND TO TOP IT ALL! My new cat Angel has run away. Shes been gone a week and a bit, and I'm really worried. I can rest assured that she fine, because she's chipped. If she had been knocked over, and taken to a vet, I'd would have recived a call by now, but no call... so shes got to be somewhere. I've posted up lots of posters, and hopefully someone will see her soon, and give me some good news. I miss her so much. As my boyfriend says, me without a cat, is like him without his DVD collection (which is reaching about 1300 DVD's now )

(Must finish this soon, because my arsehole of a brother has just stolen the laptop wire that I share with him, saying its his. I don't think he deserves it, as this morning he refused to go to school. Now he's contdicting him self by not going, as his girlfriend refused to go yesterday, and he FORCED her to go. I think shes going to be a bit pissed today when she finds out he didn't go)

I've just been to an interview for a job that I'm hopefully gonna get, and I'm starting Uni in a few weeks. Yet low and behold my horrible nack for getting a certain pain in my lower back has returned. Its painful to sit on, and its the tell tale sign that if I don't take it easy and not pull werid positions, I'll end up back in hospital for another op (the fourth one I've had in 2 years). If I do then it means that I'd have to take time off again, to heal. And I intend to go to London with my boyfriend, and I'm not going to miss it.

My doctor has told me I'm best taking a run of antibiotics... and shes refered me to the hospital consultant, to see whether they think they should operate or not. If so, I'm gonna ask that the op take place AFTER London (I don't care if I go to the MCM with a bad back, I'm going!)

http://shamankid.deviantart.com/journal/20095622/ Fri, 22 Aug 2008 12:39:20 PDT I'm off to Devon with my family (not as exciting as London, but, meh) for an entire WEEK! A WEEK WITH A CRAZY EVIL BROTHER, A RUSHED ABOUT MOTHER, A STEP DAD WHO IS SOOO BORING, AND A DOG WHO DOES NOWT BUT JUMP ON ME.

The only decent part, it that my friend Emzi-chan (my brothers girlfriend - who for the record I knew before he started dating her) is going, and shes a fellow anime fan. So I won't go crazy!

Unfortunately my boyfriend Tom was meant to be coming, but he's work decieded to be d*&kheads, and not let him go. Mainly because someone else booked the same week in like JANURAY, way before even he had started working there. It seemed really unfair I'm going to really miss him. Spending time with him on this holiday was the one thing I was looking forward to doing on holiday, and it was snatched away from me I was hoping we could have this holiday together to make up for the fact that on our last holiday in May Tom got really ill, and for the majority of the holiday, he was stuck inside the caravan. (Although we have one more chance in October, with our trip to London coming up, and we will be going, now that my Alucard cosplay is taking shape.)

Luckly, this holiday park has wireless connection in the club house... so I can keep in contact with him (and others). Although I won't be updating my page here, just watching... clearing the favourites and things out.

I post up what I did when I get back. But till then!

Its quite a relief in a way, because my brother was meant to be going, however since my dad came back he's been an utter prick. So now he's not invited My family has been doing nothing but fight with him too... so it'll be nice to get away from the shouting too.

I'm gonna miss my darling, as I found out the other day that he can't come on holiday with me, and I'm wishing he'd booked this week off instead. Oh well, these things can't be helped.

However, be ready for a upload of work... as hopefully by the time I get back, I'll have a brand new shiny Graphics tablet to play with, with a nice little fold down screen to do tracing I'm so exited It's my birthday in October... but my dad won't be here, so it was an early treat.

I is back now, and I had a wonderful time. My brother nearly ended up going, which in a way I would have prefered (then all the attention from my dad wouldn't be on me, I hate being in the spotlight ), but things behond my control happened, and he stayed home.

I went to see Phantom of the Opera and Chicago, and had a hard time trying to choose between which I liked more. Phantom was beautiful, as always, and had amazing set changes (when candles grow out the ground, you know its good) however, I wasn't impressed with the squeaky voiced Christine. It just didn't go right. And Chicago was amazing! I enjoyed every minute, and I'd never seen it before. The actress playing Roxy (who was the winner of Dancing on Ice... I forget her name) was fantasic, and hilariously funny! I really enjoyed myself... even though the seat in the audience were really close together, and cramped... and I had no where to put my arm other then to brush it against some total stranger. I hate touching people I bearly know. Its alright with my boyfriend, and Emzi-chan and because they glomp me every chance... but sometimes, I feel awkward around other people.... don't ask me why, just a pet peeve.

I also found these fantasic anime and manga shops, in Covent Garden, where one of them I got 10% off, because I had a copy of Neo Magazine with me. So I bought Death Note Vol. 1 and Hellsing Vol. 2 (I have gotten further then Hellsing 2, by the way... its just I read them online, felt guilty that I was taking the cheap route with my favourite manga and Vol. 7, but it looked all silly, and lonely by it's self... so I've started from the beginning again ). I've also discovered that I love Ryuk, from Death Note. He's just freaky and funny... but damn it, why do I always go for the hard ones to draw!

Anyway, must dash... I'm once again being forced out the door... by my dad, to go see a cousin I've not seen in about 6-7 years. I will be very glad when I can sleep in again

I ended up babysitting my cousins, however it was harder than normal, because my brother and older cousins were hogging to PS3 and the other laptop. Therefore I had to try and keep them occupied by putting 'My Neighbour Totoro' on my laptop... which has terrible speakers, that couldn't be heard over the loudness of my brother playing Grand Theft Auto 4 (WHO ON EARTH PLAYS GRAND THEFT AUTO WHEN THERE ARE CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS 5 YEARS OLD IN THE SAME ROOM?! DIPS$%T'S!. Luckyly one of the kids () had army Cadets to go to, so I only had to look after two kids, so I had one on the disney website colouring in pictures, and the other upstairs playing Tekken on my PS2. Then when they were gone, my brother had the cheek to complain that having the kids is horrible.... even though I've done ALL the work (other then the cooking and feeding, because my mum did that). He had the chance to play a game like Guitar hero with them, to help me... and bog off ou the way to his new girlfriends Emzi's house, who is one of my friends, and I was very close to ringing her myself, to get her to take him away.

Then we got pizza, and when I said I wasn't ringing it, because no one else had done anything, my brother threw a wobbly about how I'm a scary cat, and how I'm too scared to use the phone... so I ended up ringing them anyway! And then, I got the order wrong on my mums garlic bread, and everyone made fun of me for that too! Then later me and my mum settled to watch Medium, and my mum suggested pulling the poffee out so we could put our feet up.... and just as it got it back to the sofa, my brother nicked my place! Meaning that I'd dragged it over, just for my undeserving brother to use! I so I got no poffee, after my long day.

I'm mainly just sick of my brother.... all who matters to Ashley, lives in Ashley world! AND I'M SICK AND TIRED OF IT!!!! Just the other day, Emzi was here to se him, and he bogged off upstairs to play his guitar leaving my and my mum to entertain her! He's so selfish!

And now he's just unplugged the internet, to sort out the wires, and its gonna take like 10 years for his laptop to connect to the net again!!!!

Anyway, rant over... and to think I wanted to write something to post up a new friends journal.... It turned in to a full page essay!

I really need some comfort, as I adored Yami, and I can't seem to imagine life without her. She was always there, running in to my room in a morning and headbutting me to wake me up. I'm going to miss how she only let me and nobody else stroke her belly, and how she would instantly purr when I touched her head.

My only wish is that I had let her back in last night, when she tried to come in. Alest so that I could have given her once last hug.

My mum blames herself. Yami wanted to go in while she was taking Fly (our dog) for a walk. My mum said she could wait, so Yami went walking with them. When my mum got to the road, Yami rubbed up against Fly, then shot off... and in to a car. I've told my mum not to blame herself. I don't want to blame my mum because in the end, she didn't know it was going to happen.

I want to find someone to blame... I've tried to blame the driver, but my mum says he wouldn't have been able to aviod her. I guess in the end, it was just Yami's time.

I know I can get another cat, but in the end, there was only one Yami.

I'll miss you Yami....

I was sick to discover my own cousins (who are aged 6 and 3) playing this game, and when I told them they were too young for it, the 6 year old said "That's f**king stupid". Needless to say, when he asked me to watch him play it later on, I told him no. I expect to get language from chavs on the street, NOT my 6 year old cousin.

I don't understand the appeal either. Why on earth would you want to run around New York city shooting innocent people? It just seems ludicous to me. You wouldn't do it in real life, so why feel the need to play a game about it. To me the game just shows how horrible our world can really be, and I would rather ignore it but instead so one says, "Hey this is some thing we could make a game on! Why don't we make a game based upon the lower area of our society, and make the crime rate shoot up by 50%?!"

I know this is one persons opinion, and there are probably loads of counter opinions, but I can't understand why a game like this is so appealing. Its also pretty obvious that children are going to get there hands on this game, however my boyfriend says that that is really the parents fault, which I do actually agree with. The games are clearly labeled as 18, and when a child atempts to buy an 18, much like a dvd the sale is refused. However when an adult goes in the cashier is unable to refuse the sale, even thought its pretty obvious who the game is being bought for. Which I think is pretty sad, and then the parent wonders why there children have become a bunch of rude hoodlums?

Anyway, I thought I'd give my point of view, and I've blown off a load of stream. I feel much better

My tutor said make a deck of tarot cards, but I made a deck of playing cards for my last project! The guy has no inginuity what so ever. Lol, he's a graphics teacher, who can't design a decent poster

I've also discovered another problem with my back, which seems to send the oh forbidding signs that I'm gonna be ill again I don't want to be ill!

And thanks to this college project, I've had to cancell my holiday to Scarbough with my boyfriend Tom in May. His mum has booked it for the final week, and I've just discovered that my final week for my final project clashes with it. It sux, bad. I so really want a holiday, especially with Tom, who's got a new job recently, making it annoying that I can't see him everyday I miss him when he's not around.

On a lighter note, I've joined a new club , and they have a contest going, so I think I might enter I'll have to draw something when I get the chance.

I also have to say, my cat Yami (yes I know.... Yami Kitten) recently had kittens. She had four, but now she has three, because my doggie accidently killed one... but the three remaining ones are beautiful, and I will take som artistic pictures of them at some point and put them on here Promise.

I also finished my Schools production of 'The Wizard of Oz' and it was a big success. I drew the front cover for the programme, but I will not be putting it on here, mainly I 'borrowed' some pictures from this site, and well.... forgot to ask for permission from the artists, and am too embaressed to ask them now. Maybe I'll put it up one day, when I gather the courage.... get it? Lion - Courage.... get it? Oh, never mind.

I'm extremely grateful to animezirow (I dont know how to put links on here ), who is making me a new avatar thanks! In return I'm drawing her a picture of Sakura, which will be up on my page shortly.

I am also cracking on with the Wizard of Oz collection, the next drawing to be the Tinman! Though by guilty demand, my friend whos playing the 'Good Witch' has guilted me in to drawing the 'Good Witch' at the moment too... so I might have her up sooner then I thougt too....
