Within this week period, I have managed to admite to myself - and damn, it was painful - that I am one big spender! Within the seven days since I've arrived here in UAE (came last saturday night), I have been out, and out, and more out than ... ever. I have calculated the amount of gas spent (I drive a benz here; it's a fact that a benz literally inhales gas like we breathe oxygen) and I am apalled at the amount. I have dined at the nicest places and I've also seen the bills.

Not pretty.

I've made an entire list of stuff I want to buy, which includes this $ 105 Baby-G watch because my 9-year old one has decided that it's time to retire; I guess it's about time to considering it's probably been through worse than I have. I'm a very clumsy person, arms flailing all over the place. I suppose it's alright for it to fall under the post-mortem stage now. So yes, the list has been going on and on and on. If Gold Visa was a living object, it would have screamed, rolled over and screamed some more at the amount of times it had to slide through those card-sliding-thinger.

On a side note, I've just had the most amazing flapjacks and shake today. Point to self: Order flapjacks again! And the berry-medley shakes! (I always dine at this place; I just never looked at the flapjacks or shakes)

So yeah, big spender here. Oh and I've just added tires (Bridgestone, thank you) to the list. Two days before my flight, I had two front flat tires. So naturally, I went to get it fixed only to find one had a nail through it (those long fat ones) and the other one ripped. No really, it was ripped. A chunk of rubber was flapping. Poor car was titling forward from the lakc of air on both front ends. So yes, new tires. Sturdy tires. It's not like I drift in the streets (ahahahahaha only when I'm really in a hurry do I get the courage to do that), but I'm still finding it hard to believe that I've ripped both tires. Oh and I need new floor mats. That's another thing. See, I type this and I remember everything I have to buy. Sheesh.

Quidam (a Cirque du Soleil branch/part) is going to be performing in Dubai. I've seen their stunts and damn those people are good with the diabolo and the trapeze. I am most definately intrigued about the show and I'm itching to go to it. I'm just finding it a bit difficult to locate tickets and even if I manage to get them, there is the problem of transport.

And then there's the Desert Rock Festival of course. Bands like Iron Maiden, Incubus, and Children of Bodom are performing live and I just know it's going to rock so hard, I wouldn't miss it for the world (want to go for Incubus and Iron Maiden coz' they are classics!). But since it's smack in the middle of March, I doubt my parents would let me come all the way back here - and surprise surprise - spends loadsa' cash just for a concert. No wai. I have conservative folks and unless it's within common spending sense, they wouldn't mind.

There's always next year (last year it was Megadeath, Three doors down and the year before that, they had Sepultura on their setlist. Who the fuck would miss THAT? Other than me ...).

So all in all, I've been having a rad time splurging on greens. Oh and I just saw the latest Volkswagon Golf - FUCK! That is just one sweet car. I want that car!

Beside that, I have taken a new project to dress up my OCs in different fandom costumes - cosplaying but not really cosplaying. Make sense? And naturally, I've already started on the Naruto fandom and have pre-planned the Bleach fandom as well. I have Trinity blood waiting for attention too (because I couldn't get the image of Shinya in those sexy nun outfits while Arashi and Naku wear those dashing black priest-robes. Father Arashi and Father Naku - BAHAHAHAHHA!). Naturally, I will be using official anime arts as poses and clothing references (like Rurouni Kenshin because of those damn hakama and gi that's so hard to draw! Oof! Not to mention sword posing and so forth). I should have a preview or the inked versions up in a few days; providing I work at the good pace that I have been on the past three days. Not-really-a-cosplaying-OCs list will be growing longer and longer. I've had Clamp, Gundam Wing/Seed cross my mind along with several others like Death Note (I already have an idea for their own shinigamis hehehehehehe).

I'm just bubbling with creativity.

Those who read Room-mate will understand. There was one review that amused me to no end because she said, "If you're making this as you go, then you're one strange cookie." and, just for the record, I AM making it up as I go. I don't think I've had review content as amusing as the ones I've received for this fic. With the graduation project deadline just around the curb and future planning adding pressure to just about every other decision made in this current stage, this year is just looking brighter and brighter. Hear the sarcasm? Yeah well ...

Chirstmas was shit. I'm smack in the middle of finals which happened to take place during Christmas week and although we don't celebrate Christmas (religious reasons), it still would have been fun if we had the day off. I knew alot of people who wanted to go carolling but couldn't because said finals. Oh well. It's the last year. It's the last year of school. It's the last year ...

New year was spent in front of the TV with fried noodles (or pansit in tagalog) while watching Harry Potter and Philosopher's stone and Chamber of secrets on satellite TV. Yes, it was that boring. I know loads of people went out and got so smashed that they either passed out or went hysterical at whatever party they were in. All, of course, had major bumming headaches. So yeah, I spent the morning of the 31st doodling and jotting down foot notes on my notebook for my grad project (the list of stuff to do just keeps getting longer and longer. Darvit) and later on in front of the said TV.

I haven't updated this journal in a bit, but I haven't been in touch with any of the fanfic world for more than two weeks, haven't RPed in ages, nor have I checked any of the LJ-groups I frequently visit, nor have I seen any proper anime i.e. I take three days to watch one episode, stopping in between and just continuing where I left off.

However, I should be upping lots of stuff soon. My holidays officially start after my last exam on January 10. From there, I'll be on a plane back to AD where I'll spend a month of shopping and just recharging my batteries (Egypt takes its toll on you, I swear). I have an entire shopping list planned, lots of drawings to be inked (mostly my OCs since all art done on them will be added to my final project as illustrations to the story itself), stuff to write and hopefully complete my scenes to be modelled and textured. I have big plans; I am just wondering how many percent I can complete in one month.

Although I have a fic-idea in progress that I will (hopefully) upload as soon as I've written stuff. Ever since hearing that Naruto will commence around the second week of February, I've been on a roll. Ideas kept pouring and pouring, especially after I read this [link] entire list. Hence my fic idea that will hopefully not be abandoned and put on hold. Fingers are crossed. Rather excited since it's been a month or two since my last fic writing.

I have series ranging from Night Head Genesis, Gatekeepers (redownloaded it because I miss it), Mai Otome Zwei, Saiyuki Gunlock (again, because I found new subs) and the rest of NHK ni Yokoso waiting for my attention. I still have other series like Gokudo, Green Green and Generator Gawl to watch too. Not to mention the amount of movies. Meh.

A few days ago, I went on a music downloading frenzy. I've been downloading music like crazy simply so that I could compile my OC's unofficial image soundtrack along with the story's unofficial soundtrack. I have stuff ranging from Muse to Jethro Tull to Tom Jones to Def Leppard to Queen. I'm still going to grab a coupla' emo bands to figure out the other dude. Meh. So yes, I have about six to seven gigabytes of music to listen to.

Project idea consists of me building up my OCs world in 3D. Basically, I'm taking Arashi's, Shinya's and Naku's enviroment, designing it from scratch (I've been stuck at this state for the past 3 weeks), sketching and hopefully coloring the beta designs to make it presentable (shall I say 25% done? And what I have is still the beta version), model everything on 3D and render the images. Stage one, complete. On the side note, I officially hate drawing/sketching/inking perspective. Having not taken any formal art education, it's been rather colorful. Especially the curses and its combination I've been spewing off non stop in front of the computer.

Here's what's been driving me insane the past few weeks [link]

Stage two consists of me gathering all of my images and upping them on a website. Whether I'll be making it a simple table-format webpage or something based off of Director or Flash, I'm not sure at the moment. Though, as much as possible, I'll be trying to dodge Flash like the plague that it is. Animation is my weekpoint (a reason why I'm not animating anything for my project, 2D or 3D). But like the saying goes, 'Cross the bridge when you get there'.

Somewhere between Stage one and stage two, I'll be putting the trio's story in to a chunk of proper and readable writing as opposed to the notebook I have filled with notes, more notes and so much more notes and broken sentences, pieces of quotes and random impromptu exchanges between the three. This is a WIP.

Once things are done, all mediums used will be credited and mentioned later.

On a side note, I have seen all of Monster and I must say, that is just a piece of art. It's one of the best serious anime genre I've seen and borders to reality. Monster makes me happy and because of it, it will probably influence my writing alot. Currently busying myself (whenever I can i.e. when I stop working on programs and relax with a cup of tea) with Jigoku Shoujo, NHK ni yokoso and Saiunkoku monogatari. So far so good. One Piece is also done from it's recapping mini-arc thing and the latest Jump says that the Naruto fillers will end come Spring 2007! Rumor? Maybe. But the content of this paragraph is a cheering-up factor for me. Escape from reality is always cheery!

This week, on a personal note, has been one helluva a rollercoaster ride. I am - to put it lightly - emotionally exhausted. Damn.

I've been rather busy planning and plotting my graduation project that I finally got its approval. To simplify a long story, I'll be building the world of my OCs and upping them on a website to pimp it out since I wanted to dodge 3D animation so badly. Yes, I suck at making things bloody move, so I stuck to something I'm comfortable with; modelling.

My instructor wanted to see character sketches on Arashi, Shinya and Naku (who is yet to be handed in). I've redesigned their school uniform, turning the khaki and black concept to simple black and white instead. I shall up all CGed results as soon as I finish them. Progress log will be made. It sure as hell is going to bust my gut later when I reread this years from now and laugh.

Been watching Monster, putting aside Death Note for a while, since it's just that interesting. After seeing so much anime in the past few months, it's very refreshing to watch something more 'real'. It's definately serious and rather sick if one watched through it. But still good. Excellent story and I'd recommend it to anyone.

And so, while I'm busy with Monster, I have not written anything and I'm finally off my KakaIru madness/high. Finally. Back to normal again. That still doesn't stop me from wanting to write the pairing. The craving for that kind of material is just gone. Heh.

So aside from school being stupid (half done with midterms actually), project giving me a headache (because even if you try not to think about it for while, it still comes at you. Damnit!), been alive and functioning. Temperature is dropping gradually and my nose is runny. Definately a swell time. See the sarcasm.

Death Note, the popular manga series, was finally animated and debuted their first episode a coupla' days ago. As usual, lovely subbers (and there are, last time I checked, about three different sub-groups) have released the subbed versions that are now floating online, free for us fans to download.

Two words: I'm impressed!

Animation is pretty flowy and CG was all good. Intro and outro songs seems rather suitable for the feel of the anime itself; not bad! Not bad! What blew me away the most was the background music. They've really, really managed to pull on great compositions for the BG-sounds. When the soundtrack gets officially released, I'm going to be one of the fans who actually loses cash on it. Excellent sounds! Perfect for collecting!

The anime changed a few things in the manga (like the sequence of scenes) but it's not so bad or overly done. Acceptable, considering how Death Note doesn't have much action in the beginning of the manga. Though, how they pulled off 'writing' as something so 'action' packed, I have no idea. Very impressive.

While they have done rather well for the animating and sounds, I am very disappointed with their choice of seiyuus/VAs.

Raito's (or Light's) voice is played by Mamoru Miyano. If that doesn't ring a bell, then maybe Tamaki (Ohran Koukou Host Club - episode 13 where he played the role of the Hatter) or Sakuraba (Eyeshield 21) would. Yes, that squeaky, annoying and graty-on-the-nerves voice is doing Raito's voice. Last time I checked, Raito was not the type to posess a sissy-type voice. To those who have read the manga, we all know that Raito is far from being a sissy. He is cool, collected and has an inner-evil that just ... well, we all know what happens right? So no, Miyano is a poor choice. I would have expected a more deep yet soft (young-sounding?) voice like Midorikawa Hikaru? Something along those tones at least. After watching episode one, it still refuses to click. Really ...

And L. While there was no L screentime in episode one, a glance at the character seiyuus once again made me boggle at the WEIRD choice. Kappei Yamaguchi plays L's voice; that would be Usopp (from One Piece) or Shinpachi (from Peace Maker Kurogane) or Ranma (errr Ranma 1/2). Looking at Yamaguchi's list of characters that he played, I am impressed by his variety (I'm still having a hard time believing that he's in the La Blue Girl cast). Perhaps the director/producer was going for a more raspy-like tone of voice, but IMO, while L may come across as a raspy-looking-character - really, just look at him! - I don't think that his voice would be as ... scratchy like the ones Yamaguchi plays. It's like asking someone like Seki Toshihiko - Sanzo (Saiyuki) or Iruka (Naruto) - to do L's voice. Not really clicking right?

L is calm, much like Raito, hence (again, IMO) I would think something calm sounding would be suitable. I actually hoped that someone like Takahiro Sakurai - Jenos Hazard (Black cat), Susumu (Peace Maker Kurogane), Haruka (Tactics) and, surprisingly Yuri Shibuya both as the student and the morphing-Maou thing (Kyou Kara Maou) - would do his voice. Or again, something along his tones. L just came across as someone who'd be a bit softer sounding that Raito. And now, when I look at L, I hear Usopp's voice.

... not funny.

But I haven't seen/heard Yamaguchi play L yet, so I'll pass judgement after his voice is heard in the future episodes. My disappointment in Raito still stands. I still think they could have found a better seiyuu.

Ryuk, now THAT is just perfectly done. I have no complaints for Ryuk. Shidou Nakamura doesn't have much of an impressive list of characters that he's voiced for, but I've heard his perfomance as Saga (One Piece: Norowareta Seiken) and it is just suitable for someone like Ryuk.

Very excited about the series. I hope it won't be a letdown.

Among other things, I'm absolutely obsessed with KakaIru - again. It's not funny, I don't know what to do this and there are just very little GOOD fics on them out there. I've read every single damn written piece of them on ff.net. Working on some vampire KakaIru thing, but not enough! Not enough!

Recently saw The Covenant. I cannot believe I wasted time watching it. The only thing that probably kept me watching are the lovely eye-candies (the characters have nice abs!). Total waste of time though.

Also watched Naruto 202-204. While I'm glad that they give Kurenai some love and the arts of Genjutsu some attention, I am very VERY annoyed that 205 is not the end of the fillers. Meh. When will it end? When? When? Oh lordy, the frustration of it all!

It seemed like only a few days when I returned from Philippines to the Emirates. Three days ago, I was on a plane to Cairo. Now, I'm here, bored as fuck but grateful somehow that I won't have to be on my own for the next final two semesters; mom and sis are now with me. Strange how fate works - it's hilarious. Between unpacking and feeling the school-blues, I've been exhausted to points that sleeping for twelve hours is a norm. I have had lots of things happen in the past month alone.

My best friend got a job as a teacher in our old high school; I am very proud of her, and every bit of fortune that comes her way, I believe she deserves it after all that she's been through. What little happiness and little income she can get from finally being a professional at work, I wish her all the best. She definitely deserves it and I am very happy for her. It was a blast hanging out with her again, and I'm sure it'll be more so when we see each other again. Missed her cracky phone calls and all the shit we babble about for hours on a slow and boring evening with nothing to do.

Another friend that I'm very proud of at this point would be ~angelkoh11 who has also been through many things but still remained the fun and talented person that I've known since we were in third grade. She is now one of the head organizers of the JAM-FM group of AD; a group which was founded by ~Zekuu who unfortunately left the country.

I do miss ~Zekuu even if I have never really known her for long; she was one of the most generous, caring and funny people I've met. She was also the person who kept JAM-FM going, by calling together all anime-fans in AD and showing us a good time back in Mugg and Beans. Sad that I only met her a few times; the beginning and end, when ~angelkoh11 along with ~delilahdelmara was present at the airport to see her off about two weeks ago. All of us, including ~Painaholic are glad to have met such a wonderful person as her. We only hope that this small - and growing - anime group will remain intact for the next few years.

Of course, the amount of fun and great conversations I've exchanged with old friends and new ones are something I'll never forget and I'm starting to miss.

With sad and depressing things come good things. For me, it's the fun of shopping (and *koff* spending a wee bit of money). Whatever summer allowance I had, I was finally able to buy the stuff I've wanted to own for some time.

One of them would be the Luffy plushie (or stuffed doll) that I got so lucky in spotting in one of the stores back in Philippines. Because Luffy reminds me of myself (or my cousins and best friend says so at least), I just had to buy it. It is the cutest thing, roughly about 20+ cm tall, his hat a straw-like texture and he's sitting on Merry! See, it even has its little flag of the Mugiwara Kaizoku at the back! I am so in love with this plushie.

Surprise, surprise, I have yet another plushie. A puppy-Kakashi plushie to be exact. I ordered this roughly a few days ago, back when I was in AD from [link] at such a lovely sale price. *Kagaya actually showed me her picture of the weasel-Itachi plushie and I was killed with cute! I saw the Kakashi one and I just had to buy it. A few days later, the day I was supposed to leave for Cairo, I got a note from the post-office saying that Kakashi-sensei~ has arrived, come pick him up. I had to go of course! Dad was furious that I left the house when I should have been getting ready to get dressed for the airport (had to be at airport by 9am. I got back from the post office at 9am). But still. I have Kakashi-sensei. That's all that matters. Gawsh, it's so KAWAII! It awakens the fangirl (or fanboy) in you if you just glance at it!

I ow have internet and I've been downloading like crazy. I'm busy catching up with all the series I've missed and so far, since I've arrived on the evening of the 14th, I've only completed watching Gakuen Heaven.

Since that, I've been switching and toggling between xxxHolic, Ouran High School Host Club and One Piece.

And One Piece so RAWKS!

On a side note, I've just read that the Naruto series (Kakashi Gaiden to be exact) will finally resume - after all that AWFULL fillers - after episode 200. That's about next month since the fillers are now in 196 or something. So this is very pleasant news. I look forward to seeing Yondaime in action (oh the slashiness!) and widdle bastard bratty Kakashi~

I'm currently obtaining Kyou Kara Maou (also known as God Save Our King in Animax - eeeeew! It was sooo bad in English that I absolutely refused to watch it back in Phili! Bleck!). It's slashable, it's colorful and it seems funny and fun to watch. So that's on its way ...

I'll be staying here in the Emirates for about another month. There are some family matters and arrangments that needs to be done that doesn't require my presence back in Egypt (and school doesn't start till the 3rd week of September anyway), so I will be hanging out here for a while with my brother and just keeping myself occupied.

I'm not complaining. In fact, I'm very very pleased.

I am, however, missing my cousins back in Phili. Although I'm not as depressed as I used to get when I leave - they had school, so I didn't end up crying and bawling in the airport since they weren't there to accompany me - I still miss them very much. The simple companionship and all the crack things we do, I will miss it for a year till I return there for summer break next June.

... Damn. I miss them like shit.

... Crap.

On a side note, I will be getting back on my feet with writing. I've got most of what I need planned out in my head so all I really have to do is sit and write it out. Will do that when I can stay awake - jetlag. My timings and inner clocks are fucked up. I'm awake at 5am in the morning when I should still be asleep (that's about 9am in Phili).

I am in a WTFed state when I saw the new format. Really, WTF? Navigating is very annoying right now. Everything is in new pages etc. Next thing they'll do is use pink for background. What a mehmeh.

As for xxxHolic, due to demand and the positive feedback for writing my first Doumeki/Watanuki, I have decided to write the next part for it. A sequel to 'Intense Orange'.

I'll be leaving the Philippines on the 14th. It's been raining really really hard here, but who cares? It's the perfect weather to go mall-hopping and shopping! I love shopping! I already gots me like 3 pairs of footwear!

Been HOOKED on to Kingdom Hearts II! Due to limited time on TV and the fact that I'm not around most of the time at home, I've been playing the game for 3 hrs everyday. And I'm so excited by how things are going! I'm an admirer of Axel! Wah! Sora rawks!

Sis made a deal with me that if I finish the game before the 14th she'd get me a plushie (which is kinda pricey). So I've GOT to finish it! Free plushie on the line!

I also recommend RHCP new album Stadium Arcadium! I got a great deal for their double CD thingie and I'm loving all the songs in it.

Been pranking cousin's classmates through SMS messages. Because I have unlimited sms-ing for a fixed price. It's

I saw X Men 3 last week and I must say, it's a must-see for everyone. I've seen all three movies and I'd say if with confidence that this third installment is the best of it all. So, to those who haven't seen it, I pity them. A few days ago, I also went to see The Omen. It's all right, not bad. Except that I'm having trouble falling asleep at night. A reason why, right now (02:04 Hrs) I am still wide awake and actually typing up this journal. Just to stay awake to the point that I can't keep my eyes open. Hence, I can just get knocked out fast. Horror-fans might find it boring though. So, watch at your own risk - money wise and heart wise.

One of my best mates is now in AD! I am very much looking forward to seeing her along with my best friend. Which is why, I'll be home bound on the 23rd! Gotta start making plans.

Been suffering insomnia for the past few days; week to be exact. It's funny because you know you want to sleep, the desire is there, but you're still wide-awake. And whatever sleep you do get, you keep waking up in between short intervals (my case 10-15 minutes). You sleep horribly late (4:00 - 4:30am) and wake up horribly early (7:30 - 8:30 am) and still feel wide awake despite the headache. I resemble a panda. And I didn't even have to use black eyeliner or eye shadow! Mou! And when you do manage to sleep and wake up without tossing and turning (and forcing yourself to goddamn sleep), you feel heavy, tired and like someone just stomped on you repeatedly. Jolly isn't it? Feh.

Anime wise, I'm going to say that I've not stumbled across any interesting "completed" series. While I do keep up with the weekly subs of animes like Ouran High school Host Club, xxxHolic, Gakuen Heaven, Princess princess and One piece, it does get very boring once all that is gone and the weekly wait begins once more. Tennis no Ohjisama seeders seem to be on the dead side, so things are slow with them too.

Though, I have stumbled, by pure chance, over a romantic-comedy series called Karin. It's hilariously stupid that I have to wonder if such stupidity is contagious! To those who like comedy and vampires combined, then I'd recommend you grab it. It hasn't been licensed yet, so you'll be able to get it @ [link]

As we all know, it's the FIFA WORLD CUP!

As it is, I'm a supporter or Italy (particularly Alessandro Del Piero and former players like Roberto Baggio). A friend once asked, "Are you supporting the Italian league or the Italian men?" She cracked me up because truth be told, I've got a massive crush on former-Baggio and current Del Piero. A massive one! So all the best goes to them! I wish them victory! But I do support the team for their play. They won their first match too! 2-0 against Ghana! Wee!

Also, I'm a fan of Ballack and Schneider along with former goal-keeper Kahn of the German league. So all the best to them too!

Everybody adores Brazil. They practically glide on the field. They've got something about their play that just awes you. I personally, am a big fan of how they play. Excellent players, very talented and hella entertaining to watch. Last FIFA cup when the final was between Germany and Brazil, I didn't know who to root for more (Kahn was playing then). But it was a GREAT match.

Now, by the time I post this entry, it would mean that my phone line is finally stable and that I'd be on my laptop instead of desktop (needs to be reformatted again!). I've had the worst few days for having unstable, icky and disconnecting internet connection. I can't even type a decent goodbye to the people I'm IMing with; damn phone line!

But I guess that's okay now, because it's been fixed. I hope nothing bad happens anymore. Of all the times to choose to be unstable, it picks now. To top that, I've got a buzzing screen due to a power surge a week or so ago that popped my video card and made my monitor smoke. What kind of electric-supply gives you a surge of 380v when it should've been a mere 240v? I had to change lots of lightbulbs in the house (chandeliers). They all popped like in those horror movies. It was freaky. Hell, I panicked. As a result, my screen is a fuzzy thing. Feh.

Final project presentation is on the 21st of June. I have to wait for about 11 days with absolutely nothing to do. I was told that I'll be heading off to the Philippines for summer break; this is yet to be confirmed after June 23 - which is my departure date from Cairo. The thought of this departure date generally pleases me, so I'm sorta' in a good mood. In general...

So I'm on a mini-hiatus. Not completely, but I'll be less "productive" if not already. Meh.

Been rekindling my love for Weiss Kreuz; particularly Crawford x Schuldich. It brings back memories when I re-read all the old fanfics of that pairing; read them a good four-five years ago. Actually re-downloading the entire original Weiss Kreuz series just so that I can have more fun watching those two in real anime. Schuldich is an all time favorite. Currently been watching Meine Liebe Wieder; a rather slashable series subbed by [link] that revolves around revolutionary war like things and politics. It's not my usual taste, but the art is nice and the characters are interesting. That and it has two of my all time favorite seiyuus in the cast. I recommend it for eye candy.

I'm still on high with Tennis no Ohjisama and One Piece. Recently just saw One Piece the movie six: Baron omatsuri and the secret island. Kinda' fun to watch. One Piece is always fun to watch anyway. Also currently waiting for Enzai and Mirage of Blaze TV to download. I can't wait to see them; they've got the cutest characters (and seiyuus of course) combined with Yaoi is definitely my cup of tea! Or chocolate ...

I have only made very little progress with drawing. My current WIP would be of my OC Shinya which can be found here: [link] I actually plan to create a series of sitting positions for all three of them. To show their casual styles and whatnot.

Eyes crossed about four hours ago from looking at too much zigzagging lines. Ears have also folded from listening to the same track over and over again to get things right. It's 11:45 PM and I finally managed to get the goddamn track to actually sound decent. Considering the fact that I've hacked off all the "draggy" and "unneccessary" parts in it. While I do like "Becoming a Geisha" in the Memoirs of a Geisha soundtrack, it's one track that I don't want to listen to for a few ... months. Yeah. Figuring out Nuendo was bad enough. Wish I actually had a Mac because then I could have used Protools (which was what our instructor explained how to use anyway). Might use this edited - abused really - track for a music video. Might ...

Went to Cairo's Apple Center. I'm about a thousand dollars short in getting MacBook Pro instead of a Powerbook. And apparently, that too can handle Protools. Which is fun!

Naruto the movie 2 - Gekijyouban Naruto Daigekitotsu! Maboroshi no Chiteiiseki Dattebayo! - was finally released on DVD a couple of days ago. As usual, it's been ripped and subbed by the lovely people at Dattebayo Fansubs. It's a fun watch really because it gave Gaara, Kankuro and Shikamaru love! Of course, being a Gaara fan, I'm practically goo. One thing that did peeve me off is that Kishimoto is not doing anything about Naruto's combat style. It's still his usual Kage Bunshin and Rasengan. I adore Naruto, really, I do (it makes my Iru-muse happy when I coddle him) but really, he's gotta have more variety in his fighting-style. Taku ...

Etihad so far is winning lotsa' points - mostly because of great service and apparently they have cabin-wifi services! Woo!). I can't wait to get home!

Meanwhile, fic ideas (be it multichapter or one-shots) has been pouring in to my head all day. Lots of pairings including some I don't like or normally don't go anywhere near em'. I have a few things I want to finish first and will get a headstart on them ASAP (Sanity will have to wait till I get home becuase I scare myself typing it and can't sleep - back home, sis and I share a room so ...). It all started when I was cooing over this "gay-couple" I saw on my drive back home. Things just took a mad turn from there. Then I get wrongfully accused.



I have been writing recently; it was *Kagaya's birthday on the 18th. While I wasn't able to type up her original request, I was able to conjure up a pre-birthday-gift fic that I hope will keep her cheered-up till I finish her request. Happy birthday, hunny!

I've been on the hunt for new series!

I came by Sugar-Sugar-Rune and XXX-Holic TV series. So far, I'm liking both. I'll be following these two closely. XXX-Holic is very fun! I'm loving the characters bit by bit!

While I've been watching that, I've also been grabbing a good dose of YAOI-goodness. That includes Princess Princess and PAPA-to kiss in the dark. Both are just, well ... it's YAOI. What more can I say. Bless Aarinfantasy and their releases.

Just saw Disney's The Emperor's New Groove. I LOVE it! I love the characters, I love the Llama! Hell, I love the villains. I never got the chance to watch it before but now that I have, I am SO happy. I can't stop watching it. It's soooo funny! To anyone who enjoys Disney's animations and haven't seen this yet, well, go find it and grab it!

My car is fixed. The broken bumper is back in place, repainted and welded and reshaped. It's as good as new. I'm happy!

Also, 3D project going somewhat smoother. Just need a bit more effort.

1) I like Japanese songs more than my parents' mother tongue (that is Tagalog-Philippines or Arabic). This is rather odd again. Then again, I like German rock. Hmmm ...

2) I can fake tears. Easilly. Any time, anywhere. Yeah, I have good control over my tear glands.

3) I like whirling my cat around. This is probably animal-abuse, but it's fun. Because my cat is gay. And he likes it. Think it's a kink?

4) I see any two hot guys and I immediately think of Yaoi. No, not manga/anime. I mean, real life. And I start squeeing with happiness (this has earned me a few odd looks).

5) Sometimes, I converse with myself loudly. While this may be a sign of an unhealthy psyche, this is a norm with me.

6) I HATE HATE HATE anything with crustacean-meat and avian species other than chicken. I am very aware that shrimps are a delicacy along with crabs and whatnot. But eeew! Yuck! Fish is fine. But no crustaceans! No clawy things!

Damn freak weather.

Also been working on the project non-stop and it's head splitting. Will post a few WIPs of it soon.

Working on an EMO-OC, who I have yet to name. His purpose would be pure comic relief for Arashi and Shinya. He looks EMO but is not totally EMO, since I believe (after reading lots of guides, points and how-to-be-emo data online) that they're too 'depressed with the world to have fun with friends' or something like that. So yeah, while he may look the part, he's not the part. Make sense? He's coming out really cute though. I call him, since he's still nameless, Emo-bishie. Will post my first profile piece of him soon.

EDIT 3: Last night (April 13 '06), me and a couple of friends were at the movies watching Syriana. On our way home, just as we were leaving the area, some bitch! lady took the wrong turn and was going against a one-way street. She stopped in the middle, old car and all, and wouldn't MOVE! No reverse, no "oh please, give me a moment to back up" or anything! End result?

She trashed MY CAR!

The rear bumper is gone, literally torn off the the car itself, with holes and whatnot. The backseat door is scratched badly. All in all, it was one fucked up evening. And what pisses me off even more was that she juts wouldn't move! She's just staying there, frozen or some shit while I'm hooked on to her car. All she had to do was reverse a bit towards the right but nooooooooooooooooo!

was with me. So was her sister and another friend. It ruined the evening. And right when we enjoyed Syriana too! How FUCKED!

Car is in repairs. They're going to try to weld the rear-bumper in to place. Then it'll need a paintjob (fuck! Again!) and go knows what else.

So basically, we're doing a spoof short animation on a sick chicken who we kill in the end. Yes, my team and I are sadists. We burn the chicken! Burn! Our instructor laughed for a few minutes when he heard our proposal because it is ironic as it is comical. The chicken designs will be posted up later. I'm thinking of making a CD cover for it for when we hand in our final work.

Anyway, beer was disapproved - school policy etc. So we will have to substitute the booze with something else. We thought sleeping pills but decided to just make plain prescription bottles or something. So yes, all's going well. Thankfully ...

It was a lame idea at first. And I still think it's lame. REAL lame. But oh well ...

I'm once again on a One Piece high because the recent subs by GeruSama are just ... weeee! So next theme for Arashi and Shinya will proabably be pirate-themed. I can't wait!

The problem? We absolutely have no idea what to do. We plan to do some sort of short movie add and we've agreed on beer (Heineken to be more precise) or Chocolate - team-mate happily suggested 'beer flavored chocolate'.

Although we had a blast at one of our instructor's audio-studio, getting there pulled the soul out of me. I am a ghost. Bwaaaa. While I acknowledge that mate's bro is a good driver and can dodge and shwoop in between cars waaaaay faster than I ever can, I however am not. It's like comparing a paper plate to fine chinaware. And I'm the paper plate.

So yes, I pretty much died somewhere in the highway. And while we were driving at high speed all the way, to which I managed not to crash in to anything, thank GOD, when I was dropping another mate off and was moving at 10km/h (WTF? TEN? The car ain't even moving at that speed!), I crashed in to a Skoda Fabia. Genius aren't I?

The catch: Neither of our cars were damaged.

Reason I'm writing this: Because I have this strange affinity for forgetting things easilly so a few monthes from now, when I reread all the rubbish I've kept in journals, I shall relive the horror.

And fun, because on our way back, we were 3 cars moving one behind the other and we were all making horn-conversation.

In Egypt, you do NOT answer anyone who gets sarcastic when you're driving. You do NOT LOOK at people who flirts at you especially being female because it doesn't usually end up pretty. I did not listen to my friends and answered to everything; ended up getting 2 flying kisses ... among other things.

Anyway, the way back was fun. Simply because I didn't have to drive behind mate's bro anymore (I knew the way home but not to the studio).

Classes is now moving smoothly, that beeing two weeks since we started and already there's so much pressure. So far, I'm in a team that is to complete a project (a 3D animation of some sort; must capture audience, must use proper modellings, rendering, texturing, camera movement and lighting) that is to be graded via progress through out the semester.

I don't even want to know what they're going to drill in our heads in our Sound Editing class - really, those mixers and ALL those KNOBS were a bit too much; despite what our instructor says that it's not as bad as it looks.

My other subjects, I'm not very happy about. But them being core-subjects means it's compulsory. Can't complain, can't say anything. Except ... augh!!

Those set aside, I'm currently working on a KakaIru Vampire Fanfic that is so far somewhere around 13-14 pages long. I've been getting lots of help on it, and part of it was also RP-ed with a net-pwal. So yeah, that's a current WIP right now.

A bunch of drawings of Arashi and Shinya and some more original characters have been sketched out and are, to say in the parking lot on the shelf under my computer monitor. It will get it's attention, in what I hope to be very soon.

Also, I've been playing The Crims [[link] online, which is a good way to pass time, especially when in need of a break or when one is just puttering in the morning-weekend. It's quite fun. All mafia, hookers, drugs, robberies and assault. Very nice.

Recently just saw Memoirs of Geisha with a bunch of friends at the movies. It's a good movie, makes me want to own one of those lovely, lovely kimonos they were fashioning about and to actually have that sort of garden in my future house. Those lovely, lovely gardens with the stone-steps-on-the-pond/river-things. Lovely and sweet movie. I recommend it.

Recently just finished watching Loveless. That has got to be the CUTEST shota-shounen-ai series I have EVER seen. Hwaaa! I love it so much, it's so sweet! Especially Ritsuka's voice actor. Soubi is just a pervert-in-denial. I hearts them! I also read the manga through volume 5. I also recommend it.

Seen Howl's Moving Castle too. I can now see why it's been nominated for one of the best motion picture this oscars. It's a piece of art! Ah, Howl-san is SO cute!

Nmaa ... close call there.

Well, here I am, back in this freezing pit of a country (having so used to the warmer climate back in the Emirates). It's back to sleeping under two to three blankets, wearing multiple layers of clothing and consuming lots of hot drinks. Even with two heaters on, the apartment is not getting any warmer.

One thing I did look forward to when coming here was seeing my cat, Sushi, again. Will be going to pick her up at a friend's place (whom I'm also looking forward to seeing) soon.

Not even 48hrs have passed and I'm already bored. Spent the day juggling between unpacking and sketching on the tablet. Will uploading lots of Arashi and Shinya (my universal OCs - male and female) in different fandoms. The upcoming one being the Bleach fandom. Snagged an ending screenshot from google and replaced Ichigo and Renji with my Arashi and Shinya. Also looked up at multiple anime series to have a background as to how to draw kimonos; series include Samurai Champloo, Seven Samurai, Rurouni Kenshin, Sakura Wars, Bleach (duh!) and Naruto.

Lo and behold the next few days where Shinya and Arashi are going to flooding my DA account.

Meh.

Things made easier due to Tabby-san's presence?

Maybe.

Anyways, school doesn't start till a week later. Till then, I have my drawings and hopefully writings (damn block!) to keep me busy.

Also, an Anime-Meet-Up group was started back home to which I am very fortunate to have joined. The founder, Amy-san~, kindly hands out lovely, lovely things for everyone. So I have Dir En Grey's Five Ugly Kingdom concert, Gackt's Redemption (video and clips from Final Fantasy VII - Dirge of Cerberus), School Rumble, Arashi concert, Miyazuki, Howl's Moving Castle and lots more to watch. All thanks to our meet-up founder, Amy-sama~

Also, I finally saw Fullmetal Alchemist: Conquerer of Shambala! It's one of the best anime-movies ever! Ha! And I have Amy-sama to thank for giving me a copy of her DVD!

I got lots of bai-bai presents from friends. One being a stuffed white-tiger whom I've affectionately called Byakko, charms (lots of charms), a book of prayers and a bag that has Kakashi painted on it (with Naruto dangling on his ear staring at Icha-Icha). And a box of chocolates - mmm. Will get to that soon.

I'm not saying it's good to be back, but I'll deal for now. One gets so used to it that sometimes crying over shitty things is just not worth it anymore.

I have not lifted a finger in writing or drawing. Doodles and useless drabbles of two to six sentences does not count as writing IMO. So my head that usually angsts and picks up on the smallest details and turns it in to some twisted picture/literature is also stoned, therefore un-industrious.

Recently bought a PSP; I've got to say it is the sexiest invention ever (that's just me)! Started playing the Bleach2 game and Untold Legends. I have Prince of Persia set aside for later. Also, while playing those, I'm also playing Narutimette Hero 3 on the PS2. It's got Kimimaro in it which makes me very happy!

Got my own copy of Guns and Roses Greatest Hits and Korn's See you on the other side. Korn is great. Korn is always great. Of course, Guns is brilliant. Can't beat the classics. Blissfully in heaven.

Met up with my best mate and saw old High School mates and their families. This is one of the factors that rejuvenated my fried processor because it's just SO good to meet them again. Despite not knowing how to interact (which I can also say towards a few mates I met from elementary school recently after a long time) and feeling rather strained, it was good to see them. I plan to visit my old HS campus soon but knowing me, it probably won't happen. Wishful thinking. Yeah.

I need a new pair of shoes. My flame-converse ones that I've been wearing for 3 and half years is wearing away. Must get shoes! I've searched in Emirates Mall (the biggest mall in the Gulf region) and several others. Can't find a decent pair! Augh!

I have absolutely no clue as to why I'm even updating this journal. Except rereading last year's entry is making me laugh. It's good to read what crap one goes through before. Amusing really.

Debating on going to Metal Accord II Concert. I'm not too chipper about it for some reason.

Ugh. For shame ...

Anyway, bored, bored, bored, bored, bored. I've been told by a friend that H.I.M and Within Temptation will be some of the so called "many" groups that will be performing in Dubai soon. Though this little "rumor" has not been confirmed on either's website, it's something I'm so SO itching to go to. Especially after Scorpions. And come on, it's H.I.M! Who WOULDN'T GO?

That's one thing.

I still have 3 more exams this week, a tuition class on Thursday morning (that I am NOT looking forward to) and then I should be on a plane home on Friday, 9AM.

I would never say it out loud, but it looks like this is one of those holidays that I feel will just go bad. It feels negative. Not really that hyped up about it either - but I know I need a f*cking break. A helluva of a big one.

May I forget all the rotten and bad things that took place in 2005 and may this year be a clear one with bad happenings. May tangled things that took place in 2005 that was never fixed be straightened in this new year. May heaven's put distance between ill-intending-people and happenings and myself + family so that all goes well.

That's all I hope for.

Along with a good career and a good job after graduating of course. Not to mention lots of money.

Successfully made Leche Flan on Christmas night and shared with friends and relatives (that I liked only). It was a blast and I give myself a nice pat on the back for actually getting it right!

I'm smack in the middle of exams and just finished one yesterday; got another one tomorrow. No biggie, all is going well. Also handed out New Year cookies in green ribbons yesterday in school. My, my, I'm generous.

On a Naruto-peak again. Particularly on the ANBU-sub of Team 7 - Yamato-taichou! Now he's one talented, cute looking, adorably sweet taichou! And his doomface are the best! Gotta love him!

Merry Christmas to everyone!

As I don't celebrate Christmas, I still love the lights, the colors and the idea that it's probably one of the days in the year where I get like LOADS of lovely goodies from friends (or used to when I was back home). I know for one my mom's family side is throwing one helluva of party back in Philippines and that surely, my other mates are having a good time with theirs too.

So all in all, I'm in a jolly mood. I was hoping for my torrent file download would be complete to today so I can toggle Christmas Songs (Deck the halls is SO my fav!) on my winamp player - but meh. No luck. I have to wit for a few more hours (days?).

Anyway, I'm looking up easy Christmas recipes so I can make some sweets or goodies while ordering eggnog from the nearby cafe a few blocks down.

La la~

Anyway, New Year's is coming and I'm looking forward to that. Decided with a few mates (or at least that was the last thing we talked about) that it'd be a Choco-Galore-Fest on 31st - which also happens to be my first day of exam; jolly good.

I know I look forward to my chocolate volcano though.

Never forgot that experience. I think I had the same reactions as to those who ate chocolate in the Chocolat movie.

Finally went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was amazing! In my opinion, it's the best directed film among all four in total. Of course, the characters being all grown up only infused Bishounen-overdose (particulary Fred - yes you can actually tell the difference! - and Draco). I'll refrain from saying much about the movie so as not to give out spoilers. What I really liked about it is that beside managing to catch the seriousness of the book, the humor was present as well. I don't think a second past where I wasn't laughing ...

Ha! It's a must see!

Also attended a concert on the 1st; Metal Accord. Although Death and Black metal aren't my thing and since majority of the bands performed that genre, it was still a good experience. Even if the Mosh Pits scared the crap outta me. Got home late, nearly flipped the car en route, but all in good feeling. Went with two mates and saw another two mates in school perform. Result: Positive! Wouldn't mind going again ...

Also, I seem to have lost all interest in writing for now. I'm wondering if it's a block or something. I don't know myself, but I've been trying to get Mirror and Sanity done and failing dismally. I wonder why. Words aren't flowing ...

That doesn't please me one bit ...

Finals are approaching, then I'll be on a plane home. Something that I most certainly am looking forward to. Can't wait~

Last night has got to be THE best night of my life! The all classic rock German band actually came and performed here and Cairo for their "Peace for All - Middle East Tour" and whoahoah was it one performance. It was amazing and man they're so much better in front of you than on a CD or a tape or car radio.

Me and couple of friends and their elder brothers went early so we got a good spot right in front of the stage. I had a bouncer diagonally beside me. But that didn't stop and me and my friends from dancing and swaying with the crowd. Headbanging, arm rocking ... everything. There wasn't a song that we didn't sing loud to and now, because of all the cheering and shouting and singing along with all the jumps and dancing, I can't feel my toes, nor do I have proper-functioning vocal chords.

I had Rudolph Schenker right in front of me and my friends, to which he was flirting with (heehee - how cute!). He was all smiles and all rocker and all wooo - he was just great. My friends ADORED him.

And yeah, I do to. But I was very, VERY taken by the bassist - Pawel Maciwoda. What a fun, playful marvelous person he was! He was all BLEH and HEE and just smiles and headbanging. I was all woooo~

And uptill now, I'm still on a weehee! Of course, I can't say anything but "WOW" towards the drummer Herman and Curt (especially after the solo) and the one and only lead singer that makes the band go round, Klaus.

Amazing Amazing Amazing!

I even got one of the drumsticks Klaus threw at the fans, as did my other friend's bro. Another friend caught the pectrum that Pawel gave out, while her brother caught one from the many Rudolph handed out (and half a stick too). The stick I got along with the concert ticket, flyer AND the entrance wristband is going to be treasures! I'm gonna upload pics of those too, soon. Gonna laminate the ticket and flyer first.

Hey people! Metal Accord is on the 1st of December and I'm Sammy - a member of one bands playing in the gig called Eyesore. Anyway, this is like different because we're looking forward to get official somehow. We've got plans and all we need is metal-heads supporting us.
About the equipments, the organizers paid for the gig so the sound system is great! There will be an apro; guy called Amr Kheriy will be on the mixer. The place, I think is better than before.
Anyway, all we need is to get official so the thing is that bands take money, the equipments are better, the output is better, and the price is not so big. So the organizers are fair with everything with the bands, fans and themselves. All the bands on the flyer are playing.

Another reason for being on hiatus in terms of writing and drawing is because my folks are here and I've been spending every second I have with them - and my sibs! Midterms is upon me in a week's time. That's also been holding me down. On top of that, I've enrolled in YAT training center that's affiliated with Discreet and Alias softwares - learning further in to Maya. That's just blows my time table off since I have two days in a week where I return home at 1 AM (traffic time included en route to home).

So yeah, things are not THAT colorful on my side.

That and I've been told of the graduation project that I want to get a head start on for next year. I'm torn between doing a short Squaresoft style 3D animation or doing something Web-language based. Anyway, that's another headache beating at the back of my head.

While that's been happening, I've been saving every penny I can to earn a good ammount of money to buy my very own PowerBook that's roughly 3000 dollars, 17" monitor and has a memory capacity of 120GB (approximately the size of my XP desktop). The other details seems to suit my needs for graphic designing and I'd prefer bigger if I could afford but ... well, leave that to when I become an employee rather than just a depending-child-of-parents. In any case, monetary terms isn't the real deal - because UAE has a majority users of the Windows OS, obtaining a MAC seem to be a challenge. I doubt I'll find a PowerBook anywhere, though I know where to get a MiniMac ... but that's a bit too light for my field of work. Or so I heard ... Maa, it's all cool. It gives me a reason not to spend so much and so needlessly.

While that's been happening, I've been out of date with the Bleach and Naruto community. Completely. And stress on completely. I'm so taken by One Piece and yes, because I love Yaoi and write it too, I've been hunting fics and doujinshis for the series; ZoroxSanji/sanjixZoro to be more precise. And sadly, I found little. Among my treasure-hunting escapades, I came up with a duo who goes by the penname Scuttlebutt Inc..

I'll say it once and I'll keep saying it: THEY ARE GREAT!

My Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children completed downloading last night! Finally, after downloanding wrong file after the other! It's a piece of art (except for the hand movements. I feel they could have done better with it).

While that's been giving me a high since last night after watching it twice (Oh Zack! Oh Vincent! Oh Reno! Oh Sephiroth! Oh Yazoo! - Not much of a Cloud fan), Sanity 7 has been sent to mah beta-reader for corrections bla bla bla. It should be up and running soon.

Scared my self shitless writing that chapter for some stupid reason. The fact that you're in a double-floored apartment doesn't help ... too many doors. .o:

Saw Air the movie. Meeeeeh, the series makes much more sense after watching that movie. Now, I'm idly wondering when Hagane No Renkinjutsushi the movie and Naruto the movie 2 is going to be out on subs. I can't wait to see those.

On the other hand, I'll be spending most of mah time inking a few doodles I did while in lecture hall. Twas' too boring and I sorta drifted off. Hey, it happens.

That and I've tried updating Mirror - no luck. It's another ugly brick wall before me once more. Maa, still trying to get it done.

Meanwhile, been idly writing points on my post-it pads on Ura/Ren/Bya fic. Or something that contains those three somehow.

Class for moi start on the 17th (yeah, I know it's a Saturday. Our weekends here in the Gulf/Arab region tend to be Thursdays and Fridays. Some schools/companies have Fridays/Saturdays off. Depends). I go in to camps four times a week, two of which is a complete 8-hr session, the other two being 4. I have Wednesday off.

I'll be leaving on the 14th. I'll be on a plane past noon and ... well, I don't want to go. I've been up and down lately; probably an explanation why my imagination (creativity? O.o) is in the dumps. Ha, I'm in a slump.

I'm on an Abarai Renji high at the moment. Like really high. I'm going to go back making images for my badges. I don't know how much it'll cost here, but I'm making them anyway, incase I get a good bargain.

Problem with being an expatriate in a country and attending a multi-race school is that in the long run, there really isn't anyone to go "home" too and although for all of us, this place IS our home and always has been, not all of us could stay. One of my mates have the misfortune of not being able too ... unless she becomes a REALLY good doctor and get a good job here ...

In any case, I think I'm glad I didn't go to Philippines this summer or I would have missed all this ... Wouldn't want to miss it for the world.

So yeah, I pride myself in being a tall person. In fact, my dad is SO short that it's quite a weird thing that his kids are tall. My mom, being Asian, should be generally short, but for Asian standards, she's quite tall (being a Spanish decendant?).

So yeah. I'm like 5 foot and 9 inches tall and I'm 19. I've stopped growing height-wise the day I probably hit 18. So yeah, I'm quite tall; considering the fact that dad is short and mom is well, short too.

Now here's something that I've been pounding my head on. My brother, who turned 15 two months ago is like half a head taller than me. I estimate him to be around six foot one. I mean, the guy is tall, and he's fifteen and he's still growing. Just yesterday I had to go buy him a pair of shoes and damn thing looked like Mickey Mouse's feet on me. Then I tell myself, oh leave it, he's a guy! I mean, guys are tall right?

So anyway, THIS is the part where it came kicking me HARD.

Two years ago, the entire family made fun of my sister for being the shortest. She's going to be fourteen in December and yes, indeed, the girl was short. Then, out of nowhere, blooming hell she just started stretching upwards. So, yesterday, my mom asked, "How far off is your sister in your height?"

So we stood there and I just blanched. My sister is mere 2-3 inches shorter than me and hell she's only like going to be 14! So meaning she'll put on more height and be taller than me! The eldest!

So I took back EVERYTHING I said about her being a shorty.

It looks like I'm going to be the shorty after all. No fair!

So yeah, genetics sucks. I can't believe I just ranted this ...

Phew, that's that. I've got two fics off my back and one more new one in the works.

I've been dead on my feet the past few days since my parents and brother are travelling to Alexandria for a summer break. I don't know why and I don't really care (I've stopped caring when my protests reached deaf ears). So I'm going to be staying here in AD with my sister till september and I'm going to be one happy person. Sorta ...

Best friends are coming back 1st week of August. I'm happy. One of them is here and I haven't seen her in 2 years. Mwaaa!

More than 100 bands performed just to raise this awareness (I've seen Greenday perform and I'm just awed!) and make the people's voices heard - YOU POLITICIANS CAN ALTER HISTORY DUDES!

I've heard of what goes on in Africa - the diseases, the hunger, deaths and extreme poverty. Everyday, I am thankful for having a roof to cover my head and a plate where food is actually CLEAN and EDIBLE!

There's little I can do right now, being an undergrad and pretty much broke. But I've shown my support. Bottom line, I am SO happy! I can't wait! I've got hours to kill while waiting for boarding time and then another 3-4 hours till the plane lands. I've got my laptop charged and ready for use (ie) me most probably writing smut in plane. Aren't I a happy person?

Last exam tomorrow and I'm more than ready. I'm packed too. At this point, isn't it obvious that I just wanna gooooooo?!

I've been lurking about the net. Finally got to watch Boys Be. Truth be told, I was expecting more. Can't have it all I guess. Also, for some reason, I am on a Yami No Matsuei and Hagane No Renkinjutsushi HIGH! Yes, meaning all my Naruto fanfics seems to have gone hibernating in the "I'm-not-too-keen-in-writing-you-just-yet" pile while I'm writing little drabbles and probably a whole set of chapters of fanfics for those two series. So far, I doubt any are in any material that needs posting (or I'll probably delete them). Anyway, Roy/Ed and Murakit/Tatsumi circles my world for now.

Also, give all of the Saiyuki Reload Gunlock image songs a download. I myself can't get enough of listening to "Solitude" and "Bad Friends" - I'm so on a Rock/Metal high right now.

There's really nothing much of an update. Though recently, I've been pondering on job oppurtunities after graduating. It's kinda' a morbid thought coz' half the stuff that circles my head always tilt towards the 'morbid' side anyway. Bottom line, I'm starting to doubt my "future" so to say. I don't think I'd wanna live in my dad's cash or my parent's roof for long. I wanna be away and away! Like freeeeeee~

Well, school year for me ends on tomorrow's final. I still have four more semesters (2 years) before I graduate. I guess I can prepare in the middle.

Bugged dad in allowing me to attend Bass-guitar lessons. I've been bugging him since high school and now my otouto and imouto are both taking guitar/drums lessons and I'm the only one left out (note that I've been asking for it ever since) - so nya! He said yesh! And there's this wicked models in Yamaha and Ibanez that I oh-so-wantz! Check out the models!

They've got great instruments. Otouto got his electric guitar with amps from Yamaha. So shiny! I swear it rivals Gai's teeth!

First off, something in the Naruto manga series that was released two weeks ago (that would be chapter 259) turned every breathing Naruto-fan out there to literally flip! "The Death of Gaara" ... WHAT THE FUCK?! Then, oh so nicely, just about last week, we DO see Gaara falling from that jutsu Akatsuki had on him, cracked, broken, possibly exhausted and angsting about what he wanted, why, when and all that jazz. As a rabid Gaara fan, I am PISSED! I mean, hey, didn't Kishimoto create him to be invincible? He's got the friggin Shukaku in him for crying out loud. And oh, if Akatsuki fails to control the power of that badger, then what? Gaara's death is put to waste? Not only is this a distress because Gaara IS one of the best characters out there (not to mention Hot) but it seemed that this new situation sent every Yaoi-Gaara fan to just go nuts! Myself included ...

So, like every fan, here's the question ...

Has Kishimoto GONE MAD?!?!?!

If anyone does have an answer and is planning to strip him off his genitals, stuff it in to different orifices, shave him bald and probably have him dancing in a tutu like a penguin on crack because of this situation, count me in!

Anyway, as much as that ranting has gone, I have also discovered that a few weeks (or months?) ago, TV Tokyo aired a 55-minute special of Hagane No Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist - also airing in Cartoon Network's Adult's Swim in English apparently) called Reflections. Anime-kraze (bless these lovely fansubbers) have subbed them and is now available for download in their page via bittorrent. It's more of a recap of all the previous episodes, summed in to one. Some people would go, "eh so what? I've got the whole series" ... ah, sure you do. But, in this special, there are dialogues said that was never in the series and I think a few extra scenes too. You get to find out more about Greed's feelings, Lust's too I think and also more about Envy. To all Fullmetal fans, this is a MUST grab!

Bleach chapter 177 is out and released by Manga-rain. The mangas seems to be coming out TOO slow. The series itself is going down a bit. It no longer has that much of it's charm like the previous ones. Dunno why ...

Tekken 5 is out and OMFG Jin has a sister? O_O And ... eew. Half the female characters that were cute and really nice in Tekken 3 (passable in Tekken Tag and climbing the ladder of whorishness in Tekken 4) are now too slutty in appearance in Tekken 5. Jin looks crap, Paul looks crap, Lee looks crap - damnit they all LOOK crap! And the clothes ... *eyes bleeds* Nevertheless, I still want to play it. One can easilly ignore the clothes ne? It's still going to be your favorite fighter.

At the moment, I am on Anime high. I've seen - within the past two weeks - the complete series of Fruits Basket, Gatekeepers 21, Peace Maker Kurogane, Weiss Kreuz Gluhen, Gravtiation (once again! Wee~) and Gungrave. Out of all of those, I recommend that you grab ALL of them. Oh, and just for the heck of it, Weiss Kreuz doesn't stop at Gluhen (yeah, that's the one with Aya who sports this friggin pigtail, Omi who looks like his hair just flopped out of a Slurpee machine and Yoji who looks like he was in a war with a lawn mower and lost). In fact, there's a continuation to it called Weiss Kreuz Side B - more bishies! Look it up and check out Chloe and Free! Chloe has a German accent and ish teh BISHIE!

So, while those are completed, I'm getting the rest of Saiyuki Reload (I lost my old copies) and downloading the continuation called Saiyuki Reload Gunlock (pretties! I have the first 5). Also grabbing Tsubasa Chronicles and the rest of my Last Exile episodes. Wow, so many to watch!

Also, a friend of mine and I are doing a crack RP that's got Kabuto (Naruto) and Roy Mustang (Hagane No Renkinjutsushi) tossed in to a story and TOGETHER! It's hilarious I tell you! Don't they look kawaii~

Oh Bleach OST 1 is out. They've got good music and is a must grab.

I have no inspiration to write ANY of my fics. I'm really trying. TRYING! Not working ... *looks around for inspiration* ... Drawing isn't any good either ...

Wow, that's a long rant. I'll shut up now. Nothing even remotely interesting. Oh, and I'm still getting my PSP! *cackles*

I have finally - FINALLY - updated Mirror! Took a drastic turn and can now spin wheels on the readers mind - or so I hope. But in any case, it HAS been updated and I am one happy little Shi bouncing in little poofy red clouds! With a pet weasel in tow - and a puppy, and a dolphin and a scarecrow - koff - ahem, nevermind.

Exams are COMING! I am HAPPY! Who in their right minds would be happy for upcoming exams?

Anyway, I'm so excited that I've started packing my bags. I know it's strange and I don't leave till like weeks later, but I've seriously started packing all the stuff that I won't need in the next few days. Demented me heh? Maa, I'm homesick is all ...

That and I've got a LIST of albums to raid off Virgin megastores. Also, daddy has agreed to get me mah very own Sony PSP! Waha! At first he was reluctant because I need a new cell phone (I dropped my Nokia N-gage from the second floor and it's not receiving SIM signals properly) - but I begged my imouto to give me her cell and she go ask for a new one.

I have struck gold! The ultimate bargain! Coz' I get the wicked Nokia 6260 that my imouto owns AND a PSP! Life simply cannot get any better.

Also, the new Naruto RPG 3D game called Uzumaki Ninden is going to be released in August. It's wicked! Naruto cast in 3D - what can get better? I must admit, Sasuke looks nice, judging from the screen shots provided by Bandai. Apparently, Narutimate Hero would be out in PSP format too.

I hear the Bleach fighting game is also going to be available in PSP format. Shi is very happy now!

Advent Children is going to be out in 117 days. Also, there's a rumor that it's going to be released in UMD (Universal Media Disk) format that the PSP supports. It's COOL! I'm in line for getting a copy!

Also, while surfing the net today for contact lenses, I found the Mangekyu and the 3 and/or 2 pinwheeled Sharingan lenses on sale - at a shocking price of 200$ above! Too much, but one can oggle ne - [link]

I'll most probably be scooting over to the Philippines for two months of pure bliss a week or two upon my arrival in AD. Oh the fun! I'm so excited I've been in a freaking good mood since the exam timetable came up last week!

So for the next two weeks, I'll be catching up and/or finalizing homeworks and projects. All fics are on hold - again. Actually, BYNK and Mirror are half done. I'm working on it bit my bit. In any case, once I hit the summer break, I'll be able to finish, I hope, all my pending fics before the end of June and/or 1st week of July.

Just saw Kingdom of Heaven on Tuesday. Orli is SO hot!
