Hey everybody! welcome, once again, to my sporadically updated journal! Also, this is really just news from the past month or 2, so other stuff has been going on I just won't bore you with it.

Tom's Artistic Updates
I have not been doing really any visual artwork lately at all--I know that I always say that, but usually I have something that I'm drawing, or a painting I'm doing in the Art Room, or something I'm sculpting, but seriously, nothing doing right now. It's not for lack of ideas...well I guess I haven't sat down to try and think of an idea in quite a while. I have a plan to do several contour drawings in the future for my art teachers, most likely of other people and myself in some sort of project--stay tuned if you're interested, as I may need more victims...I mean subjects. yes, that second one.

Tom's Writing Updates
Alright, here's where the real action is! I've been writing quite proficiently lately both in terms of poetry (which I would really appreciate if people looked at in my gallery and gave some feedback) but also on my Naruto fanfic, which is now up to chapter 10 including an original character sheet--the whole story can be viewed at [link] under my penname "Sideshowtom" (it's not working right now--I have the link in past journals or I can send it to you if you like. I would really love more people to read it though, as more exposure means more improvement.)
As a final note on my writing, what with the new year upon us, I have decided to take a huge undertaking. as I'll be going to college soon and therefore will start working on getting writing of mine published in a great realm, I'd like to get even more stuff written and reviewed--but how to do that? And so, I set myself what is to be called "The 2008 Shinogami Challenge." Under penalty of...stoning, I swear that I will write something worthwhile (aka not craptastic,) every single day of 2008, starting today with something I'll post later. Everything will come as it is, whether I've had time to get it read by others or even read it myself, and it could be anything from the chapters to a novel, to a poem, to a short story, so long as it is ORIGINAL stuff by moi, Shinogami, aka Nailor. So, wish me luck, and I hope you all get the chance to read at least some of it!

Tom's Work update
In terms of work, I am just about to finish up my Christmas Vacation which, while not necessarily completely so, has been relaxing. I am going back to school on Thursday January 3rd because I have to work practice for the Girls' Varsity Hockey team, which I'm managing, and then I have classes on Friday and Saturday with church on Sunday and most likely homework after that. I have all my college applications, essays and supplements done, they just need to be checked by my college counselor and my English teacher and sent it, which'll most likely be at the beginning of next week God-willing. That'll be a lot off my back and then it's just waiting for acceptances. Other than that, I'll most likely be keeping my grades about where they are (which is about a 3.2 for the semester which, while not as good as last year, is nothing to sneeze at with my schedule this year) and doing all my extra-curriculars. I plan to take it a bit easier than usual though, which should afford me more time for other pursuits.

Tom's Artistic Updates
Well once again...little to no art. It's not that I'm lazy it's just that...wait yeah it's that I'm lazy. I mean if I was a digital artist I could blame it on my computer not working for so long but in reality it's just that I haven't picked up any one of my half dozen sketchbooks in about 5 months. Perhaps it's just that inspiration hasn't struck at all. Perhaps it's that I'm both lazy and afraid that I'm nowhere near good enough to produce anything anyone will want to see. Probably more of those latter two.
On the plus side I've found several artists willing to do requests of my Akatsuki members-I just need to find the crappy drawings I have of them and get my profiles off my old computer so I can give them to them AND post them in some form of entry when said requests get done (and I am very thankful to those that are doing them!)

I could blame the lack of writing on both my computer not working for so long AND my hatred of handwriting AND the huge amount of work I had leading up to finals but then again why make excuses? I really have been writing but it's all been odds and ends that really aren't worth posting at all--however I will be posting a few things by the end of this week when I polish a few of them up...and write a few more that are kicking around in my head. The lack of a word processor on my new computer makes it rather hard to get anything done

Tom's Work update
My l-guarding job has yet to start so my job right now is working towards passing my 2nd drivers test and continuing to work out, while writing and keeping in touch with my friends. Also on the list is unpacking the contents of my room at school into my room at home and preparing to go off to Cape Cod Sea Camps, whereat I'll be an Assistant Counselor and actually be living in the unit with the kids and such...scary thought. I'm more than a little apprehensive about it but I'm just taking deep breaths and trying to remember everything I've learned...which is next to nothing. A lot of the time it seems interacting with little kids on a daily basis is just gut reaction and hoping that they like/respect you enough to listen. Hopefully I don't die (crosses fingers).

So...I'm done with school! Very excited about that, but rather bored at home. My best friend Brett () is away on vacation so no hanging out with him, and my other good friend James () is still in school--suffice to say we still have plans for later this week but that's not for a few days so...yeah boredom. I am also planning to hang out with my friend Claire () at some point this weekend, which should be fun and then as for my friend Vikki ()...I don't really know. I don't know if we are at all close at the moment half of which is her overreacting when I say certain things and me enjoying pushing her buttons. Tom's Artistic Updates
Art update...little to none. Right now we aren't really having good enough weather to merit some solid photography (though I may have a few random shots to put up) and since I just got injured (see below) I've been busy rehabbing, giving me even less time to try and do any art. I've been doing a number of random sketches lately, mostly of original Akatsuki characters for my still-going Naruto fanfic (again see below). In other news I am looking for artists willing to do a GOOD job of drawing some of these characters so I can have solid pictures of them. send me a note anyone who is interested and we'll palaver.

My fanfic is going slowly but surely-I just finished some minor editing on the first four chapters and hope to have those reposted along with the 5th by...Sunday or Monday. In other writing news I've done at least a few pieces of poetry in the past few days so I may post more of those. Speaking of poetry I am going to a poetry reading next tuesday with my school! We are going to the local Barnes and Noble bookstore to read to each other and some students/audience members from other private and public schools in the area. My English Teacher chose my Thanatopsis poem, my "Language of Love" poem and my "Swimming on Ice" poem. I know I haven't posted the latter two but I plan to (hopefully) in the near future. If you have any suggestions for a different poem I should read please tell me! I plan to ask numerous other people on their opinions for this as well.
Tom's Work update
Well I now have an official job for the beginning and latter part of this summer-lifeguarding at the YMCA, most likely from early-late morning while my dad is there so I'll have time to do things in the afternoon with people. School work is...quite a load right now! I've really got to step it up in latin if I hope to get a somewhat decent grade for the quarter and my other classes are giving no leeway! I think I'll be pretty much staying right up where I am right now in terms of grades which is good, though I also have a huge history paper to work through in the next week and a half as well as my first track meet next week.So wish me luck!
Tom's Life update
My track season has been going fairly well thusfar-I am currently running mid-long distance and one of my coaches Ms.Nahom is leaning towards either the more cross country esque event for me or the 800 (about half a mile). I really won't know what to do until I get out on the track more often which won't happen till tomorrow at the earliest as I hurt my TCI band (or some combination of three letters. The muscles run from above my pelvis down my hip and quad area so I need to keep stretching and icing that. I wish I could have just gotten out there and seen how it felt today but of course it had to rain. Not that I don't love the rain but it's a hassle and a half waiting! In other news Tom got a date to prom! (allows for clapping, then gapes at silence) ANYWAY! I'm going with my best friend Dee who I've mentioned before and we are planning to have one of the best times of our lives (though the St.Patty's day rangers game will be hard to top). As for her...well I've reached the decision that I am much better with being best friends with her than continuing to try and convince her she likes me romantically and that's good for me I think-I mean I hate getting hung up on stuff and it has made things much more comfortable between us. Since I'm not taking an art class this semester and since Spring Sports just began I have little to no art to post at the moment...this will probably remain the trend for quite a while especially because I need to start doing extra work on college and the like along with choosing courses for next year which will either include AP Art or at the very least Ceramics and Art History....provided I can cram those in between taking a science (damn college counselor) and Irish History, along with AP English VI, English Independent study AND some math class and a language class (possibly german or some new Latin class)
so I apologize for that everyone but at least my writing won't be suffering, what with the extra english class I'm taking that is all writing stories and poetry

As I mentioned above, my newest english class is all writing stories and poetry, and though I haven't much liked any of it so far I may have some things to post after my march vacation, as we are meant to keep a creative journal all vacation and write something at least once a day. As for my naruto fanfic, I finally have the first 2 chapters done after a hiatus due to work and my 3rd chapter is about 500 words done. I'm really getting into the plot now and I like all the characters I've made and/or gotten from other people (with permission of course), and those were the two biggest problems I had with my former naruto fanfic. I should have those chapters ready to post tomorrow depending on what time I get up, as I wanted to post at least 3 to start with...if I get up early enough to finish the third then I'll post them all, if not I'll get at least the first 2 out by 12 on here and on my fanfiction.net account (sideshowtom)

Tom's Work update
As for school/real work...too much of the former not enough of the latter! In all seriousness I may or may not be working as a lifeguard at the New Canaan YMCA for a few weeks at the beginning of the summer in order to make some quick cash, along with possibly doing a bit of construction work at Cherry Street in NC (which is being rebuilt) which would be nice. School work you ask? well let's put it this way: for AP Latin I have to reread about 500 or so lines of Latin and pick out 10 vocab words from each 50 lines, then reread a book of the Aeneid in english and take copious notes on it...then be ready for a test on all that when I get back. And as for english? I have to reread the Great Gatsby and another "great american novel". the dumb thing about it? my teacher said he would email me a list of books to choose from (as I already read Gatsby a while ago) and he still hasn't. he also hasn't answered my email about whether reading Catch 22 is alright to fulfill that requirement...so yea. As for other classes? going surprisingly well-finally found my TI-83 calculator which should come in handy in math class-I've been scrambling to borrow people's before quizzes and tests the past few months. My grades went down a little bit (3.45 to a 3.42) but that was mainly because of my theology grade and my AP Latin grade so if I work on those I'll be good. As for extracurriculars? they are all going surprisingly well, though my co-news editor on the Tabard (school paper) continues to not do shit so...I'm stuck doing everything. And her name STILL comes before mine on isssues!
I'm also starting the college process so I'll be looking at a couple places over the break including Syracuse and Providence, two of my top choices. I'll keep everyone posted!

so lets go!

1. When I'm just hanging around my house (alone) I tend to suddenly pretend fight people and/or suddenly come up with awseome Naruto fights and act them out, complete with yelling out the jutsus. Also when I want to spit unless there is a huge amount of people around I make hand seals and say "Katon: ect ect", or when I need to hack up mucus I say "doton: dorryuheki". Another, more rare occurence, is when if someone comes running at me like they're gonna punch me I just say "Rashomon!" and most often they stop, confused.

2. I have a tendency to refer to myself as a social "spider" because I have a lot of friends in a lot of different groups-therefore I hear about almost everything that goes on. Therefore I see myself as a sort of spider at the center of a web of information (creepy eh?)

3. I have a strange obsession with puppets that almost no one (not even some of my best friends) know about. much like how most of my friends don't know that, like Shikamaru of Naruto, I like curvier girls better than thin ones.

4. Two strange turn ons for me is if a girl wears a really nice scarf and she can match my wit punch for punch in terms of exchanging insults. if she can catch me off gurd then she's probably my next girlfriend.

5. I have a strange obsession with changing my hair-right now it's just shaggy and long but I have a strange desire to turn it into tiny spikes all the way through and dye it acid green, though I'm too afraid to right now. Maybe at some point in college. I also want to create a to-the side but short version of Kakashi's silver hair (complete with the silver). I've also considered a horse tail, and I slicked my hair back john travolta and/or Eddie Munster style one day at school

6. I have a tendency to convince people I'm a ninja or if they don't believe me take complete conviction in my ninja beliefs/use it as an excuse: aka "oh sorry I was late for class-I ran into a roving band of kung fu samurai and of course had to put the smack down on them" or "oh I was going to get everyone gifts and cards but I didnt' realize that someone switched the '10 items or less' sign and the 'beware of Ninja line' sign. it was brutal brutal carnage"
the funniest thing is that sometimes these actually work

Tom's Artistic Updates
Artistically all I have right now is to post a few projects from Advanced Drawing including my final project (which I've been told is one of my best) and the completion of one of my large, overlapping contour pieces. I've also got a few sketches of different members of Akatsuki going right now, some of which I'll finish in the next couple weeks now that I'm on vacation. I've also got a few sketches of some original characters that will be used in my upcoming fanfic (see below) that I need to send to my good friend so she can draw good versions of them for me. I'm gonna be trying to sketch as much as I can in the next couple weeks, in between studying Latin, finishing all the books I just got, and working on my fanfic. Stay tuned!

Tom's Writing Updates
Well on the fanfic front I will most likely be discontinuing my current Naruto fanfic in lew of another one I just started. The reasons for leaving it? well I realized I hated most of my main characters and they are rather key to having a good story. Also many parts of it were very cliche to me and I just plain didn't like it anymore. It just didn't have any of the....feeling of a good Naruto fanfic-when I read it I didn't hear "sadness and sorrow" at the depressing bits, or "Raikiri" at the awseome fight scenes. The new fic sprung from an idea I had while I should have been studying for my AP Latin midterm and a 20 minutes "study break" that sprawled into a 2 hour writing session. Stay tuned for that. I recently got about a dozen books from various sources (birthday, my own money ect) and I'm hoping that I can be inspired by some of those to improve my writing. While I've been doing plenty of fanfics and newspaper articles lately I haven't been able to write anything particularly original (and good) in a long time. So on the list are the new Artemis Fowl book, A Christmas Carol, The Best American Unrequired Reading, finishing Kurt Vonnegut and The Dragons of Expectation, and numerous others. Hopefully I don't get overloaded and I can remember all the good advice Emerson gave about books in his speech "The American Scholar"

Tom's Work update
I just finished up with my 2nd semester of school and midterms. I believe my English and Math midterms were the best, and my history midterm went pretty well. I don't think my AP Latin midterm was particularly good but my teacher told me she wasn't going to drop me from the class which means it's probably above a 70 or so. I did particularly well on my last couple Advanced Drawing projects so I'm glad about that. Next semester I'll be taking Sculpture class (unless I decide to give my spot to my friend Tina which I probably will) along with Model's For Writers as an extra english class. I'll also be more actively searching for colleges and such which should be pretty fun. Wish me luck!

As for the life update...things are going surprisingly well for me right now. Managing Girls Varsity Hockey is still quite fun though I had to work a totat of 14 hours at a Hockey tournament in which me and my friend graham were meant to work 6 hours tops...why? cause our athletic director is an idiot. I did get to stuff myself silly with sushi and other japanese goodies on friday night with the team which was quite fun (especially after tricking my friend D into grabbing super hot yakitori barehanded, eat a large quanitty of wasabi and caviar. oh and teaching everyone "itadakimasu!") Tom's Artistic Updates
Nothing much to say artistically...I've updated a bunch these past couple weeks and I'll problably have at least a couple more things to post by the time my Christmas vacation rolls around what with the colored version of my overlapping contour piece ([link]) and the final project for my art class. I may bang out a couple more quick sketches over the next couple weeks though I do have midterms coming up so I'll be mainly studying for those. I'll probably have a couple pictures to put up after this weekend as I realized I never put up a bunch I have from the summer along with my best bud Brett and I realizing we have NO pictures of the two of us-strange no?

Tom's Writing Updates
I finished the next chapter in my growing Naruto Fanfic ([link]) and will most likely have chapter 8 up by friday depending on how I feel the next couple of days. Other than that I've spent the last couple days at home looking at some old stuff I wrote during my Freshman and Sophomore years that I never posted-some of which is quite good! I've found little to inspire me in terms of my writing stories or poems the past couple days but I'm sure some things will pop up in the next couple weeks.

As for work I just finished up the Fall Play at school I've been talking about so much-people told my friend Kim and I that as Silvius and Phoebe we "stole the show". My friend Anderson was probably the funniest as he said "oh everyone said you were really good."

Other than that I've got another edition of the school newspaper coming out soon so I've got to write a few articles for that and then edit peoples articles and then lay out the pages for it. Managing Girls Varsity Hockey is going well so far as is being a Lead Ambassador. I haven't had to be on duty in the dorm much at all lately because of play but I'll be back there once my thanksgiving break is over. Lots of school work still but with midterms coming up my teachers should let up at least a little though midterms will be hard.

Tom's Life update
Well I had my wisdom teeth out on wednesday so while I'm not dying from the pay my mouth feels like somebody punched it a few times on each side. Also I can't eat anything that isn't soft and cold which kinda ruins my thanksgiving break a bit. Other than that everything is going pretty well-I'm most likely getting together with my best friends James and Brett this weekend before I go back to school and I may be seeing my friend Mika and some of her Darien/New Canaan friends at the Turkey Bowl on Thursday. I'm also probably going to see my grandfather on sunday when my mom and I drive my brother back up to school which would be good because I haven't seen him in a while. I dunno if I mentioned this at all but I did some stand-up comedy at my schools Open Mic night which was amazingly fun-people said it was pretty good and I was invited by my friend Graham to do it again so I must have done something right. I also got into an argument with an old flame of mine but was then apologized to which was quite nice-I won't get into too many details. Other than that not much else to say.

Tom's Artistic Updates
Advanced Drawing has been taking up a huge amount of time lately as I tried to finish my large charcoal still life that was very complex and had a lot of difficult shading to do; however I'm finally done and handed it in on monday. I've been doing some random doodling lately along with a large number of blind and modified contour drawings for my newest art project, most of which are of myself. I still have some photographs to post, a picture of Zetzu and one of Hidan and Kazaku (sp?) if I can find good pictures for them; these are mostly practice for an Akatsuki group picture I'm planning to do pretty soon as just a big "thanks for all the support" picture. Other than that nothing else going on though I will most likely finish the larger blind contour of my face/upper body I just finished in art class 2 days ago.

Tom's Writing Updates
Well as for my fanfic I'm about 750 words into the next chapter of my fanfiction, though its difficult to write as its the buildup/beginning of a fight scene between 4 canon characters so I have to be careful about personality issues and new moves and such; also the fact that 2 of them are over 40 in my fic makes it a bit more difficult. Other than that, again, my AP English work has been keeping me very busy though I have gotten a few poems written (though I'm loathe to post most of it cause its trash). Other than that...expect the next few chapters of my fanfiction out by after my thanksgiving break (which is about 3 weeks from today so get ready...

Tom's Work update
Well I've gotten back first marking period grades from school and they are as follows:
AP English 86, AP Latin IV 80, Advanced Drawing 82, Geo/Trig 88, History 88, Old Testament 90. This averages out to a 3.7 which is high honors and the best I've done thusfar at Canterbury. I also got all 1 effort grades which basically means that I owned at homework, getting extra help, working in class and all that good stuff. So I'm very happy about that but still working mad hard in all my classes especially history now because its more debates and less easy stuff. Geo Trig is still going well as is Old Testament and Advanced Drawing english is about the same though Latin has gotten harder as I get more used to how the class works. The show for play is fastly approaching so I'm quite busy with that along with a deadline for the newest tabard edition and a bunch of stuff for tour guides and all that good stuff. I'm getting more used to it though so it's working a bit better.

Tom's Life update
Nothing too much going on in my life right now. Just been really busy with play and the resulting drama on and off the set. Also my group of friends is going through a bunch of stuff in terms of girlfriends (new and old) so theres drama there all the time and pretty soon I'm probably gonna start hanging out with the Girls Varsity Hockey Team because I'm managing them during the Winter Season and that basically implies hanging out with the team a lot more. I am trying to go out with and/or hook up with several different members of the team (but of course not at the same time :angel: he he he) namely Amanda and Tina so whichever one of those works out (or if none of them do theres plenty of fish in the sea) we'll see there....

Tom's Artistic Updates
While I've been learning a whole lot of different artistic techniques in Advanced Drawing class (along with how to deal with my rather perfectionist attitude when it comes to art) I haven't had much of a chance to do too much personal stuff; I have an inked and colored pic of Zetzu of Naruto lying somewhere in my sketchbook but I'd rather have at least a couple more things done before I put that up. Apologies all around but especially to for not getting back to you on our art trade. I've just been incredibly busy this year as you'll read more about below. Besides that nothing really done artistically though I am most likely going to post at least one of my art projects (between my cross contour one and my charcoal one whenever it's finished) so stay tuned!

Tom's Writing Updates
I've been a bit...unable to write lately. I really want to sit down and get things done but I just haven't been able to. My writing for my AP English course has been quite good though so I came out with about an 84 (he doesn't give above an 86....EVER) which I'm happy with. I finally updated my Naruto fanfic with the next few chapters (up to chapter 6 now) so go check that out if you can. Um...nothing much else going on except for a few random poems kicking around and some stuff like that. Ideas would be appreciated from anyone, anything from crazy fanfic pairings to literary works really.

Work. What to say 'bout it except that it's just that: work! I've got a huge number of things going on right now with school. Between 2 APs and my Advanced Drawing Class, along with a full schedule besides I have quite a large amount of homework and quizzes and tests and such to be ready for. I already mentioned my English Grade but as for my others I have about an 87 in History, an 80 in AP Latin, an 80 or so in Advanced Drawing, and I think nearly a 90 in Geometry/Trigonometry. Old Testament I should have above a 90 but that's cause its one of the easiest classes ever, though it is a minor so it doesn't really matter as much to my total average. Alas, tis life. Besides classes I'm also the News Editor for my School newspaper the Tabard which entails not only writing at least a couple articles but also reading people's stuff and correcting it then trying to use indesign to cram it all into 2 pages worth along with pictures and captions and all that. It's rather fun though and I really enjoy it. I also enjoy being a Proctor/Prefect in my dorm though it can get annoying to be on duty twice a week during study hall and constantly setting a good example. I also really like Fall Play right now; we're doing Shakespeare's "As You Like It" and while I was originally Le Beau I am now Silvius which is a larger (but a bit more difficult) part. I basically have to play an incredibly akward but very much in love Sheperd who chases after Phoebe who is in love with Ganymede who is actually the Princess Rosalind in disguise who is in love with Orlando who is confused by his attraction to Ganymede who is really...well you get the idea. It's confusing! I'm also a Lead Admissions Ambassador which basically means I give a large number of tours of the school, work at and organize open houses and the like and set up other people's tours. I have numerous other small clubs and such I am a part of but its really the four that I've mentioned that take up the most time.

Well on the artistic front I'm primarily in the same position I was last week; that is that I have a lot of mediocre drawings done in my sketchbook but nothing I really want to post. However I have been feeling a yearn to draw lately so I may draw some stuff next week. Also, yes I know I still have to post all the paintings I have from school-sorry that I keep putting it off.
Also I've got an art trade going with though he had to change my request (which I respect as he is a much better artist than I am). As for my half of it....um....LOOK! RAVAGING GARDEN GNOMES! (runs)

Tom's Work update
Well my grades finally got here! I came out with a 3.56 in the last marking period of the year (yes!) but fucked up on exams (mainly high 70's and low 80s, cept for english which was a 90!). This, along with bad marks the first half of the year, dropped my overall grade to a 3.2 or so which while not bad will need to be improved. As for classes I still don't know though my advisor said that I def got all the AP's I wanted so hopefully my other classes have good teachers. Other than that up until camp I have no sort of jobs to do except clean my room and help my mom clean the basement. When I get back, however, I'm working at the local newspaper for about a week with the sports reporter and probably a few other things. Nothin better than money in your pocket!


Tom's Life update
Well in terms of my life there are a few things to say. Myself, Brett, James and Oliver had a few more weeks of our warband campaign last night here at my house. It was quite fun (though Oliver bitched about a lot of stuff) we played 2 weeks in which I came in 3rd overall, Jame's is in last (which I feel bad for because he's rather behind now) and Brett & Oliver are vying for first place. Personally I want Brett to be in 2nd so we can be allied for the final battle and own everyone. Other than that I may be seeing Brett tommorow for some warhammer battles and I KNOW I'm seeing him next week at least a few times as he goes off to camp friday. Also next week my friend Laura (whom I met through a friend of mine at school Kate) is having a summer/pool party next sunday which I'll be going to. Looks like it'll be fun so long as nobody decides to bring drugs or booze which'll just be dumb as its in the afternoon/early evening.
Other than that nothing really going on though I have had a couple conversations with some people from camp who I want to become closer with this year and I drifted away from some people who just weren't being good enough friends. On another nerd note I've been trying to decide on a new warhammer army to do and I have quite a few options right now:

Well on the artistic end of things....um...he he he. Besides about a half dozen paintings I picked up from my Art Class I really have next to nothing to post....
I mean I've been drawing random little doodles here and there, primarily character designs for my WIP Naruto Fanfic (which can be viewed at [link]). Because of the fact that I cannot draw anime eyes for my life and that they are not particularly good besides that I will most likely not post any of them unless people ask. Now fan art of them? That's a whole other story! I'd love to see you guys draw some of my characters. I have very basic ideas for clothing and general look already planned out but original ideas are still appreciated! And if you want to create a character to be inserted? That’s great too!
However that is enough about my fanfiction. Seriously I've really been trying to draw more lately but with so much free time it's hard to find motivation and easy to say "I'll do that tomorrow". I'm going to camp in a few weeks though and usually I make at least a few good pieces whilst there so stay tuned.

Besides my Naruto fanfic (see above for more information) and a few random poems/bursts of creativity, my writing is pretty much the same story as my art (ha ha get it, writing, same story, ha). In terms of the fanfic I'm nearly done with chapter 4 though a song contained within is giving me some trouble to write and I need to decide whether to make it a very long chapter or a shorter one. Most likely the latter just for numbers sake. The lack of reviews is somewhat discouraging but I'm still trying to push strong. I've had a vague itch to work on my YuGi-Oh fanfic a bit but I don't know if I'll ever get around to it. As for my star wars fanfic....outside of a massive overall that may or may not happen it's probably done. It's not that I really hate it; it’s just that.....it really sucks. Having reread it there is a lack of good character portrayal and development (something which I really love in other fanfics I read). However I do have a few ideas for other stories so stay tuned here...

Well I'm all done with school for this year and I achieved most of my goals for the year including:
-I'm an editor for the newspaper next year
-I'm a proctor in the dorm next year (if you don't know what this means ask me via message/email/IM)
-I'm most likely an Admissions ambassador for next year and I got an admissions award for excellent along with a sick vest jacket
-I made AP Drawing (please don't laugh), AP English and AP Latin IV for next year which is good
-I will most likely have a major role in the Shakespeare play next year (yea bet you didn't know I could act did you? I'm just so goddamn talented.)
As for camp I leave sometime around June 26th for 7 weeks (this is my 8th year there) and I will be a JC 3 (a junior counselor in my third out of four years in the program). This is important because they weren't sure if they were going to let me back in for various reasons at the end of last year; needless to say I persuaded them!

So basically this story is set thousands of years in the future (prolly something like 4567, don't ask) and set during what would be WWIII. Primarily the conflict stems from the Israel/Palestine conflict which was meant to be resolved in the late 2600's but somehow in 4563 a major space conflict occured in the space around one of the Palestine controlled planets-Samia. Though the ships had never been seen before the Palestinians assumed it was the Israelites (sorry for any mispellings or anything) and therefore launched a surprise attack. Alliances were drawn and eventually it was shown that it was actually the Japanese who using a mix of technology and religion had created a new army-called the Kami (I know sort of stolen from Magic but bear with me) therefore the Japanese using their new army began to lash out and create conflict everywhere eventually gaining allies with the Fourth Reich (recreated Nazi Germany that had slowly emerged since the early 4100's) and several other fleets. Of course the good guys sweep in to save the day and war ensues
now the main things I need to ask is what can/must be changed, and if anyone can come up with more of a plot line than what I have which is: random war
one thing I thought of was a group of commandos from different factions being sent in to try to find the source of the new Kami Army and destroy it-thus tipping the balance

On the request front I'll pretty much take any I mean even though I'm not great I could use an idea to try and work out a style for myself. Also if anyone is willing to draw a pic of Grievous with MagnaGuards (his droid boydguards, you know the ones) from the beginning of EP III, you know when hes hunched over with his cloak covering most of him, I just thought it looked cool, or just MagnaGuards fighting a jedi, preferably an original jedi with realistic looking magnaguards, someone like Zimeta's Destain OC character fighting em would be really really cool

I got into a new sport-namely Javelin for track and field. I pretty much suck at it, but we only need two good people to go to meets, so I'm not worried. Practice is extremely fun because our coaches never come over to check on us, so we just take our time, mess around, and scream out lines from "Troy" and other spear/javelin fighting movies while we do it, and do impressions of the stupid teachers/people at our school
I've been playing a lot of Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds: The Clone campaigns yesterday because I hadn't played in almost 7 weeks and forgot how awseome it is
anyway, thats pretty much it, keep up all the good work everybody

and i have to wait like, 5 more months to go away to Canterbury Private school where people won't know me, so i have a chance to be popular somewhere and get away from all the people i hate and despise here
