I'll never stop being a Transformers fan, but I won't be showing it via writing as much.

Perhaps something else will come along that will inspire me to write. I'm not moving it back into the gallery yet, though, I guess I'll play it safe for a little longer. *Patpats her poor maligned, yet loved, Desktop Screen Shot*

Edit the Second: Dear DeviantArt: STOP CHANGING THINGS. Good job, I can't scroll through my Deviation list to set a new Featured if it comes after "G" in the alphabet. FAIL FAIL FAILITY FAIL. I grieve now. -_-

Edit the Third: Okay, seriously, you can't tell me this doesn't have something to do with a popularity issue. I'm looking over the rest of my desktop screen shots, and the very one I had displayed on my front page as Featured Wallpaper, good ol' Captain Lennox, didn't even have my Dock showing, yet it was passed right over for the one with the most hits. Of course, I have now uploaded a new version of the Lennox desktop, and will be either replacing or deleting the rest of my desktop screen shots.

I think I just won't bother sharing my geekiness anymore via desktop screen shots. I've got better things to do tonight than nitpick my screen caps of desktop screen shots.

Wow. Yeah, um...I'm tired. That had to have been the worst holiday season I've worked through. I think I might handle it all better next year now that I know what to expect, but, man, I'm exhausted. I couldn't even celebrate that it was over on the 26th because now we have the wave of returns and people being cranky because they can't exchange things for different sizes because we're sold out. Or cranky because they lost the receipt for their item and don't like when I tell them what the store procedure is. Augh. *ducks and covers*

So, yeah, I have a backlog of things to catch up on. Most of all THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO HAS STOPPED BY AND FAVED/COMMENTED!

Given that a small preview just came out for Transformers 2, I'm going to say right now that I don't want to know anything about the next movie. Please don't comment here or send me notes giving away characters and the like. It would also be nice, just out of common decency, if people could put a warning in their subject title before posting about spoilers. Anyone who does post a spoiler right out in the open is off my list. I want to be completely surprised and thrilled when I see the entire movie for the first time on the big screen. Thank you for your consideration.

In the meantime...I'm going to make an attempt to catch up on kiribans and moldering fanfic. Unless a creative miracle happens tomorrow there won't be a new chapter of Renewal before the year ends.

Today's update includes Gundam Wing! Yay! I miss anime. I've started watching some of my collection as background noise when I'm doing artstuff but I wouldn't mind seeing something new eventually. At the moment I'm watching King of Bandit Jing. I've always watched it subbed before but this time I'm watching the dub, and it's actually rather good. I wouldn't call myself a strict subbie, I merely prefer it because the original emotional inflections are there and there's no waiting for the English VAs to get a handle on the characters. There are always exceptions, though. Generator Gawl will ever be preferable in the dub. Back to Jing, though, I still need to pick up the OVA. I kept waiting for word on when it would be brought over, yet when it finally was I ended up forgetting all about it. o_O

Most of my bookcase space is taken up by Transformers but I think I should get my <strike>army of Sandrocks</strike> Gundam models out of their boxes. Poor things haven't been displayed since before I moved.

10k kiriban progress!

- 2k7 Optimus+Elita-1 fic - 1% (plotting stage)

- OC pic - 1% (plotting stage)

I'm still plugging away at the Mosaic I'm coloring but haven't done much of my own art. Kiribans delayed, obviously, and I finished out the Sibling Reunion pic just to feel like I got something done.

I'm going to NY for a long weekend and have Thanksgiving with my folks, get some photos and try to get as much of my old hometown in my memory as I can because it will probably be a while until I can get back there again. I've been having some horrible homesickness for the past several weeks and finally gave in and instead of going to IzumiCon switched my mini-vacation to heading east.
Eh, but then again, CA is our home away from home. If we had the means, we'd move back there in a heartbeat.

Speaking of heartbeats, I want to recommend ~Mentacle's latest Mosaic, Double-O. First time my heart skipped a beat on a reveal in a Mosaic. Genius.

A quick run down of our trip to California:

Day 1: Arrived in CA, found our hotel, promptly passed out for the rest of the afternoon, woke up long enough to order in some pizza, then passed out again (The roomies hadn't had sleep since the previous day while I squeaked in a few hours of sleep before we were out the door at 4 am to get to the airport)

Day 2: San Diego Zoo

Day 3: Miramar Air Show

Day 4: SeaWorld

Day 5 & 6: Orange County, met up with friends, talked, ate, had fun.

Day 7: "Visited" two more states on our way home (layover in NM, connecting flight in TX). Picked up the pets, came home, passed out.

I have plenty of photos to go through and share, my favorites being the once-in-a-lifetime jet performances at the air show. We hadn't even been aware of the show when we planned the trip. On Day 2 we happened to be coming out of a Best Buy and heard the sound.....and then a Blue Angel flew overhead. They were practicing that day and so when we saw a billboard advertising the air show we put two and two together and dedicated our "free day" to attending. We missed much of the morning lineup but we settled into a decent viewing spot when the jets were up. Seeing the F/A-18 Super Hornet, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and the F-22 Raptor in person was just absolutely awe-inspiring...plus anyone who has read Renewal can understand why I was geeking out. XD (From the back of my headspace I heard a voice say, "TC want big boom." )

And of course, the quoting of, "IT'S STARSCREAM!!" upon seeing the F-22 listed in the program. OHMYSCRAP THAT JET IS AWESOME. Seeing more of its capabilities than were ever displayed in the Transformers movie, yeah, that is SO a Starscream type of jet. What a showoff!

Bonus for that being the best birthday I've ever had. The memory of my rib cage rattling as the F-22 screamed by will stay with me for a while.

So, I have a few dozen photos to go through... has several hundred, much better ones. So stay tuned!

10k kiriban progress!

- 2k7 Optimus+Elita-1 fic - 1% (plotting stage)

- 2k7 Sam & Mikaela pic - 100% [ Link ]

- OC pic - 1% (plotting stage)

So, here we are one month's hiatus later. What do I have to show for my time?

- Three drawings, two of which have been posted

- Numerous pet photos I need to download and crop

- Returned to cross-stitch hobby! A batch of in-progress things I will photograph later

- Photos of a painting project I also need to download and crop

- Not a whole lot of writing. I have two chapters of Renewal I need to proofread and post...but one was complete and the other half written before I took this hiatus. Bleh. I need to just give in and admit I'm in the grasp of a Cybertron-sized Writer's Block with a 1/8th inch pickaxe to chip at it with. But I refuse to give up! I have a Chromia design, I need to keep writing for her sake at least.

So now I shall embark on another hiatus, either one month or two, depending on how much I accomplish.

However, I will be on the lookout! If you are the 9,999th, 10,000th, or 10,003rd viewer of my gallery, you can have the kiriban prize of your choice, a fic or pic, (max of two characters for pic). I'm willing to take OC requests and characters that I might not be familiar with, but your results will be better if it's something I know such as Transformers, Gundam W/G/X, Disney, 80's/90's cartoons.

Rules: You must take a screen cap of the number while logged in, with the date and time for proof.
Requests may not be slash, crack pairings, or rated over PG-13. Time frame for receiving your prize is relative to my work schedule.

I've decided to take a long-term hiatus from the Internet. I desperately need to find my creative zen again and I would like to devote more of my free time to it. I've gotten into the habit of spending it playing catch-up around my work schedule, and I rarely have anything constructive to add anywhere, anyway. Aside from finishing up the "Reunions" fic post at the IDW boards I'm going to be offline for several weeks burying myself in various artistic mediums. It's been far too long since I sat around crafting, and I think it will ultimately help my mental state to be expressing myself in forms besides writing.

Until I have something to show, take care, everyone! *HugsAll!*

I don't want to know ANYTHING about TF2 until I SEE IT IN THE THEATER So, friends, be kind and put a spoiler warning before you mention ANYTHING about it. It is never safe to assume that anything is common knowledge.

TF:Animated has been pretty much ruined for me by this kind of thing. I've just about lost interest in the show, and if not that, then my enthusiasm for character revelations is completely dead (I should have been excited while watching "A Fistful of Energon" but found I just didn't care). And I haven't even seen many of the actual spoilers, just having the words "someone posted a spoiler" mentioned puts me off. Some people need to use some sense. Not everyone wants to know everything right away. What I loved about TF:Animated was being surprised by the nods and references to other TF series and the revelations of the show itself. Now nothing short of unexpected cameos of my favorite bots will make up for the lost interest.

I'd rather not hide from the entire fandom between now and the movie premiere, but I probably will have to because some people won't take the hint. Think I'm being too sensitive? Well, I'm losing my enjoyment of TF in general because I can't even go into the discussion areas of forums because someone put a spoiler right in the thread subject. I love TF and would never completely give it up, but it's hard to stay interested in anything new when the surprises are given away. I didn't know much about Speed Racer or what would take place in Indiana Jones 4 besides what the title suggested, and I had a blast seeing everything for the first time there in the theater. It makes a whole lot of difference to the fun factor.

I didn't find out it was posted until this morning, while yesterday I was feeling very miserable due to some nightmares, so this was a great pick-me-up!

Okay, so, the move: Molly and I arrived safe and sound in OKC on the 29th and spent a couple days recovering from the hectic previous weeks. I'm now adjusting my sleep schedule to match the roomies', and I got my new bed on Tues which made that even easier, since my back and joints weren't appreciating sleeping on the couch or the air mattress after a while. I'm still waiting for the moving company to bring my stuff from NY. I'm getting antsy about that, now. I've called twice now and both times they told me they're waiting for the freight to get back in, and they'll call me when it does. I better get that call before this week ends. This is getting inconvenient. I'm currently borrowing the spare computer, but it doesn't always play nice (plus it's set up on the coffee table for lack of a better flat surface. Not exactly comfortable to use for lengths of time).

Although I'm without my usual means of making art, I've been taking photos and will add those to the gallery when I have the chance. Renewal is slowly coming along. It hasn't had the flow that Reunions did, but it's just as well since the latest revisions have lead to better interaction.

It turns out it wasn't the power supply. >_< They think it's one of two things, and of course one is much more expensive than the other. Here's to hoping it's the less expensive option.

Still working on getting my grandpa's computer up to snuff. I was able to install one of my art programs but haven't actually tried working on anything in it because I've been busy packing. I've decided to get a moving company and take my furniture out to OK, too, so I've been combing through my stuff once again to get it better condensed. Shouldn't have been too difficult, but my sister has had school projects to do, and with the computer now in my room again, we're kind of getting in each other's way. Right now I'm down to the odds and ends and trying to decide if I should bother organizing them or just dump piles at a time into boxes.

On Thursday I leave for a week's visit with and to bring out my guinea pig, Chiridee, and help unpack and set up stuff around the new apartment. When I get back I'll finalize everything that's left to do, and then wait for the end of March, when my cat, Molly, and I fly out to our new home with plans to stay for good this time. There shall be much Transformery goodness to create with Domon, Straya, and I back under one roof again.

Thursday I decided it was time to pick up my grandpa's computers from my uncle's house since my beloved G4 Cube is no longer upgradeable. I also took the extra 30 gig HD. Let me just say that my grandpa was a genius. He had two towers hooked up together, plus the external HD, PLUS a much older HD (we're talking a Quadra here) plus various other harddrive add-ons and could switch amongst them all effortlessly. I regret to say that I was a poor student and I really wish I had spent more time with him learning about the hardware. He had such a passion for computers that if they had been around when he was younger, he would have the computer empire, not Bill Gates.

I didn't try to recreate the Rube Goldberg-like set up when I got home, but I did access the external HD through each of the towers in turn. It worked fine, so I got the brilliant idea to hook it up to my sister's computer and move all of my files and programs in one shot.

Well, something went horribly wrong and fried the computer. We took it to the Apple Store last night and the Genius there said it was the power supply -- so, thankfully, all our stuff should be fine. Unfortunately, they didn't have a replacement part in stock so we have to wait for it to come, and we should get it back...while I'm visiting OKC at the end of the month. -_-

So, I have no access to my most recent art files or my programs until I get back. It's also going to take some time to install those programs on my grandpa's computer, so I won't be updating here for a while.

So, a thank you to everyone who keeps coming back to see and read my stuff, and also thank you to the newest visitors! Please stay tuned!

Yesterday I tried numerous times all day to view entries and do some voting, but load time was so slow. Holy cow, people!!

Fortunately, my dA Watchlist has provided plenty of nice, timely views. Good work, everyone!

In other IDW news, upon learning earlier this week that the Blaster Spotlight would be out on the 23rd, I made plans to go get it asap. My sister and I even arrived at the comicbook shop before it opened. (We usually go in the evening, and forgot they opened late on Wednesdays)

Lemme just say that I am one VERY HAPPY Blaster fangirl.

Without spoiling anything, here's some snippets of the review from my Livejournal:

This wasn't what I was expecting from a Blaster story, but then again, it's difficult to know what to anticipate since Soundwave is so much more popular. But this story was great. I'm still not happy with Mr. Furman for Devastation #4, but he did good with this Spotlight. I really like this backstory for Blaster. The characterization was great overall.

Emiliano Santalucia's art is excellent. I actually like the nod to the Marvel design. And Blaster's alt mode....WOW!!! I LOVE it! Finally something that does his coolness justice! (Not that I don't like his G1 boombox mode. It's just...um..mass-shifty, yeah.)

If anything, this Spotlight made me love Blaster even more.

My art is now in last-to-first order per folder, give or take a few initially misfiled pics, so I have a nice progression of how much I have improved...or not.

TF:Animated continues to OWN. "Thrill of the Hunt" is one of the best Transformers episodes ever IMO, and ranks right up there with Beast Wars storytelling. I hope there are going to be more like it!

Preparations for my move are still going full steam. My eBay sales are going decently, although I keep miscalculating the shipping. @_@ I think I might have balanced Round 2 with Round 1, but from now on I'm getting my act together on it. Still plenty of stuff to get rid of.

I finished the second Mosaic I was coloring and will be taking a break from coloring any more of them until after the move. However, I have ideas for more scripts, so we'll see how that goes. In the meantime I have a pile of other sketches to color and plenty of writing to get done.

Transformers: Animated continues to be awesome. Seeing yesterday's episode was great because I had the day off from work and could actually sit and watch it "live" instead of having to set the VCR to catch it. I haven't been able to watch Saturday morning cartoons in quite some time...It felt great. ^_^ Nostalgic, and all that. Plus, if I wasn't an Ani Prowl fan before, I am now. Sorry, Ani Ratchet, you'll have to move over.

I've been working on a bunch of stuff in between moving preparations and hope to actually finish something soon. Most everything is taking a back seat to Mosaic work since I fell behind on that due to the holidays. Fortunately, my job schedule changes as of Monday so I will have more time to focus on move matters (like selling off almost everything I own), packing and repacking, and catching up on my back-burner art projects like kitbashes. (I'm going to attempt to kitbash Broadcast from Reunions -- robot mode only, of course. This shall be extremely interesting if it works out.)

Gonna be a fun if not crazy couple of months, here...

Haha, funny yet awesome to see all the TF:A reviews that popped up since Weds.

I LOVE IT!

I like that Prime isn't Ye Grand Autobot Leader yet, and that we'll get to see him develop into the role over time. Bumblebee is so wonderfully a combination of Cheetor and Rattrap. I love that Bulkhead is clumsy yet dishes out sarcasm with the best of them. Prowl is ninja awesomeness. Ratchet...Ratchet is THE WIN.

Need a little more time with the Decepticons, but their introduction was great for getting to know their individual traits right off the bat. Blitzwing=AWESOME. XD Starscream is treacherous, cruel, and badaft...and his voice is PERFECT.

I already have drabble ideas. Perhaps this will get me out of my slump! *Makes note to not let 07!Ratchet and TFA!Ratchet anywhere near each other. The sheer amount of snarkiness might implode headspace.*

In other news, I worked overtime on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day was nice and quiet here..for a while. -_- After probably the shortest present-opening session we've ever had, my mom, sis, and I went to see The Golden Compass. My sis has read the entire book and mom is partway through it, so I was the only one going in with no knowledge whatsoever. I enjoyed it and would like to see it again, but I'll wait until the DVD.

Not complaining about the small amount of presents, though. I'm glad my mom stuck by my request to not get me a bunch of random knickknacks. I did get a fleece wrap, a mini LCD flashlight, and a plushie polar bear and penguin that's part of a donation project, so that was cool. (That and the polar bear reminded me of Chibi Ursa Magnus, of the Allspark forums fame. I need to get a photo of that... ) Other than that, I didn't get what I wanted for Christmas. I drew a crappy sketch of 07!Ironhide and Chromia I wanted to make into a New Year's card but it's too rough to try to clean up and finish out on time. Oh well.

I'd ask if it was Jan 5th yet, but I need time to figure out how to get the VCR set up to program it to record since I work Saturdays and won't be able to watch TFA "live". Had enough of a time getting it correctly hooked up again to record it Weds...

TF:Animated looks like it's going to be awesome. This will be the first time since I got into Transformers that I will see a complete series on TV! Everything else I've seen after the fact. Er, well, I'm not counting the first three or so episodes of Armada that made me go "Uh Whut?" and turn it off. (But I wasn't a fan at that point, so it doesn't count. ;D )

My thoughts from the TF:A latest clip (A CN podcast):

-Bumblebee has NO sense whatsoever

-Starscream's VA fits him, but sometimes sounds like an evil Spongebob to me. XD (Yes, I know they share a VA)

-Corey Burton does a good Don Messick impression. * Ratchet*

-I can't wait to hear Phil LaMarr. Last time I played Jak X I kept squeeing and my sister threatened to hit me. (Then again, she does that any time I ramble too much about TF)

Mebbe I will have a TF Christmas story written by Christmas...mebbe not. I seem to have lost my writing skillz. Y'know, I worried that Reunions would be the end of it, at least for the rest of the year. Too much at once. Grah. I'll keep trying. Too many good ideas in Renewal to just toss it aside.

I'm having a hard time believing Tuesday is the 25th already. Time is just flying so fast. I don't think I ever actually got into the holiday spirit for long, and a week from now all the fuss will be over. And a week after that it will be 2008.

Edit: Oh, and...all I want for Christmas is Ironhide/Chromia fluff! As in, I'd like to be able to write some.

Busy busy busy! Got nothing done yesterday, including an attempt to finish a Thanksgiving fic I started on last year. I slept in this morning without meaning to, so I've got a late start, but at least there is FINALLY no one else home so I can work without constant interruptions! Music is up loud, creative engine is on, and I want someone to slap me if I don't post a Mosaic color preview by tomorrow. In the meantime, here's a fanfic preview!

I admit it, I'm simply dying to get this scene out. There's a lot leading up to this, but Renewal is writing itself backwards and it's taking too long to get here, and I just want to post it! ^_^ Can't get the mental image out of my head of how awesome a fight between Movie!Ironhide and Motormaster would be. The height and weapon difference makes it all the more cooler. XD XD Even if Ironhide happens to have a handicap in this instance. :]

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

It felt all too soon that he woke from recharge. The same rock walls surrounded him, the one entrance to the small cave laying dark and empty. He watched carefully for moving shadows as he turned on his headlights, but there was nothing by the door nor immediately near the tunnel he had followed to this point. Ironhide heaved himself to his feet and began to backtrack through the maze in hopes of discovering a tunnel he had missed before that could lead back to the surface.

This time he constructed a map in his processor and added the direction and length of tunnels as he entered or passed them. It wasn't long before he had to delete it. The map kept indicating crossing and overlapping tunnels when that was not how he was traversing them. He began to wish he had more in-depth geology equipment in him so he could test the rock for mineral deposits and magnetic fields -- something in their physical make up must have been interfering with his navigational systems.

He wasn't even certain how long it had been since he had left the one chamber to when he arrived at a large cavern intersected by numerous tunnels. He looked around in disgust, muttering out loud, "It seems the designer was fond of games." He listened to his voice rumble about the cave and down the tunnels in repetitive echoes. With a quieter mutter he started toward the opposite side, keeping close to the wall in order to map the entrances. If he had to double back, he would at least be able to mentally mark where he had already been.

As he reached the halfway point between the sets of tunnel openings, he heard something that seemed to be behind the wall to his left. He stopped and placed one hand on the wall, musing over the possibility of a tunnel running parallel to the cavern. The noise repeated, so he leaned closer to try to pick it up better.

Something flat and metal cleaved through the rock just beside his head, barely missing a horn. He quickly pulled back as another vertical strike broke away the stone where his other side had just been. Then a massive fist punched through the middle, sending chunks of stone flying. Ironhide protected his face with his arms and tried to catch a glimpse of the figure behind the wall -- who was now kicking away the lower part of it. The illumination from his headlights gleamed off of the object that had cut through it initially. A long sword, gripped in the hand of a mechanoid taller than him. He rumbled in double annoyance -- first at the interruption, and second at the fact that a Decepticon had inexplicably found him here.

He also really hoped that it was only a Decepticon instead of several. One Stunticon was more than enough.

Motormaster climbed out of the hole he had made, needing to lean over to get through the upper portion but then straightening up, his head almost brushing the ceiling. That let Ironhide rule out Menasor even if the other Stunticons were there. Motormaster stepped toward him, slapping the flat of his blade against his palm. "So this is where you've been hiding, 'ey, Ironhide? Not very fitting of a warrior to lose himself."

"I am NOT lost!" Ironhide shot back before he could stop the words. "What are you doing here?"

"A challenge!" Motormaster swung his sword toward Ironhide's head. The Autobot uttered an aggravated sigh and ducked, moving to his right and instinctively lifting his arms to shoot at the Decepticon before remembering his cannons were disabled. He cursed his own stupidity and dodged another swing of the sword. Motormaster followed his movement and swung his foot out next, catching Ironhide in the side and sending him to the ground.

Ironhide grunted and went with the momentum, rolling onto his other side with hands going up to block any other kicks. He then jerked his forward arm up, using his fender to guard against a strike of the sword. He braced his other ha...

It feels weird letting two weeks pass without having a chapter ready to post. NaCreWhaMo (Na Create Whatever Mo) didn't start out as I had planned, so instead of having a progress-o-meter on projects, I'm just going to work on everything as much as possible and post them toward the end of the month/December, depending on time frame (my job is already getting to be hell due to Thanksgiving.)

What I AM working on:

- TF: Mosaics

Currently down for colors on two different pieces, and working on one at a time since I don't think the computer could handle the memory usage. %D I'm finding that it's easier for me to work on an image with multiple parts within it because when my ADD sets in, I can just switch to another panel to do something else. One and a half panels left to lay flats; four panels have flats and some degree of shading; one panel needs a recolor because I gave it generic color until I sought out source material, and found the actual colors to be awesome (a red and silver battlecruiser...SWEET.) I'll post a preview soon and give more details then.

On my day off I have to run a few errands, but I hope to spend most of the day finishing up the colors.

- TF: Renewal

Prologue is complete, Part 1 halfway through while I establish where everyone is and what they're up to (except Simmons. I still have no idea what he was doing. XD ). I'm glad I slowed down on this because letting it marinate for the past few days alone has yielded some great ideas for where to take the story (Tell me, folks, how awesome would a fight between Movie Ironhide and Motormaster be? Eh? Eh? ). I owe TFBlogs and several Allsparkers for inspiration.

- Assorted fic

Ehm, not happening. Doubt I'll even get an Allspark Fic entry in this time.

- Oklahoma or Bust, Feb '08

Rearranged the entire top floor of the house last Weds, got into the crawlspace in my room and put a few boxes in there, will be adding more when I have a chance. Due to the limited space in my room itself, it's a royal project just to clear the way to open the crawlspace. <-- *Using this smiley just because I think it's awesome*

I still have to finish decorating the yard. Besides, what could one do to scare Ironhide?

[Edit] Y'know, if I ever give in to the temptation to come up with an explanation for how Transformers could procreate, Ironhide's greatest fear will not be equated with the personality of his and Chromia's offspring. I'm going to come up with a kid who will be nothing like what anyone would expect. Hopefully. Dang, it's so tempting... [/edit]
Never did get the TF score CD. My sister got fed up with waiting and got it off iTunes, so I just carried the tracks over. Man, the Autobot theme played by a violin during "The All Spark" is the most wonderful piece of music I have ever heard. I love the Autobot theme overall and I think Jablonsky did an awesomely excellent job with it. I've been listening to nothing but this score since we got it.

I'm trying to get back in the swing of things with moving details. I had planned to strip my room of extraneous stuff yesterday but didn't actually get anything packed up, merely reorganized and sorted -- although I succeeded in clearing the upstairs hallway, low-traffic though it is (It's just my room and the unfinished "attic" rooms up here, so I merely made the hallway an extension of my clutter collection). Better that I waited, though, because I snagged a bunch of good-sized boxes from work this morning that will make packing much easier.

Lastly, and most importantly, prayers and hopeful thoughts going out to everyone in CA. I'm still waiting for word from a few people. Here's hoping things can be gotten under complete control and recovery can begin.

I just noticed I have 90 Deviations. Wow. Didn't think I could churn out that much stuff anymore. Still have more to go on Reunions, and then some one-shots are on the way...100, here I come!

A Shout Out to everyone who has been reading my fics, and especially for sticking with me through "Reunions"! I'm glad to be able to produce an engaging story again.

I still haven't gotten the score CD. Went ahead and picked up "Arrival to Earth" from iTunes. I went back to Barnes&Noble and talked to different clerk who said the store order hadn't come in, but if he put it in as a special order for a customer, it would get there in 2-3 days. My sis and I have to run some errands tomorrow so I'll stop in again. Although, I could listen to this track all day. It's so awesome.

Picked up the DVD on Tues from Target. To be honest, I didn't think much of the comicbook. Just gave the Decepticons personalities for anyone who didn't read their toy bios. And, sorry, but the transforming case is kinda lame. Mine has a problem with its feet so it doesn't even come close to standing. I'm wishing I had waited and gone to Best Buy, F.Y.E. or Borders. The steel case might be cool, and behind-the-scenes stuff is always great. and I watched the movie yesterday then spent a few hours watching all the extras. Heheh, I think I was more looking forward to the extras than the movie itself. I think I can recite it from memory at this point. XD Although I have been putting the movie to use trying to get good shots of Ironhide to make icons and banners. (His face does not shrink down to 100x100 very well. Forget 50x50.) Would have liked to see voice actor interviews and outtakes...I could have waited another month or two if it meant those would be added.

Now, back to writing! Ironhide and Chromia have taken over my brain.

It would appear that every music store in the county did not receive a shipment of the Transformers score OST. I suppose they figured, "Eh, we already got this Album CD, who's gonna want this other one?" Even though, on the Borders website, they claimed it was currently in stock today. I spoke with a clerk in Barnes&Noble on Weds who was surprised that it hadn't come in -- he liked it, himself, and we chatted briefly about assorted movie scores. He said he was going to order a case for the store, and to check back in 3-4 days. Heh, guess who I'm calling on Monday. I'm planning to walk to downtown to get the DVD on Tues, so I'll pick them up together. Hopefully. I might cry if I don't get ahold of that DVD that day, but with four places that should be selling it just in that one area, someone has GOT to have it. I don't really care about extra goodies, I just want the 2-disk set. I am going to start with Target, though.

In other news: RL. Not so great but I'd rather not go into details. ...I'm tired. -_-

On the upside, I finally have a chapter total for Reunions, and it is officially the longest multi-chapter fic I have ever written. This is very encouraging after the past several years of struggling to finish even just one-shots. Please note:
1. No slash, period. Also, no TF/human. Not interested in writing either.
2. IronhidexChromia is my OTP of choice, and I prefer not to write Ironhide romantically involved with anyone else.
3. There are some topics I'm not interested in trying to write, so I have replaced them with other topics.

Other than that, I'm open to any other movie characters interacting. Character dynamic exploration and development = good!
My local IMAX theater finally put up the show times. I was hoping to go to an early one, but due to work schedules and I will be catching the last one at 9:55 pm. I will also try to catch a matinee at some point. Yes, I admit it, I'm shamelessly obsessed with this movie.
I have numerous memes to catch up on and I could say a lot more in this update, but I just want to say that I'm danged tired. x_x Between the stupidity at work and the things to be done around the house, I just can't keep up with it. While I have sworn to focus more on my things around the house so I can make progress toward the move to OK, I can't seem to help but end up doing more than my share of chores -- because I appear to be the only person who thinks to do certain things. My sis, is back to school, so I don't blame her for anything.
"I feel like the maid: I just cleaned up in here! Can we keep it clean for maybe five minutes!?"
-Mr. Incredible

And at work, although the money is great for the move, I need another day off before I burn out. I'm currently fighting with the pharmacy manager to give me an afternoon off. Even if I have to go in to stock bread, that's only two and a half hours, as opposed to a full eight. He won't give it to me because the best day for it is Friday, but we get a delivery then and he wants me there since our new tech is still learning and doesn't work as fast I do.

How is she going to learn if she isn't scheduled at the time? He's such an idiot. Correction: he's dang lazy. He just wants someone around who can do most of his work for him. I suppose I should appreciate his confidence in me, but, no. He's just lazy and I can't figure out how he even got out of pharmacy school.
Annnndd here I go again! *dashes off to work*

The last one would be said in a particular way by whenever I make a clever "Durhurhur!" joke/pun.
And, yes, you're reading my current music correctly. Got nostalgic after browsing the TV section of FanFiction.Net, seeing other old cartoons there, and skimming the listings for snits and giggles.
(A few minor spoilers about which characters are in the movie, below)

AWESOMENESS! Well, all right, I have a couple of complaints. But the awesomeness of the awesome outweigh them, and hopefully Mr. Bay will listen this time because just about everyone I have seen comment on the movie has had the same complaint.

I saw it Monday at 8 pm and again on Tuesday at 10 am. And I plan to see it again and again. If there's one thing that makes my day from this movie, it's Ironhide and Ratchet. I was already geared up to see Ironhide because he's one of my favorite G1 characters, but I found myself liking Ratchet's toy bio, and then I ended up buying his toy, and after seeing him in the film, he and Ironhide are now tied for my fave character from the movie. Next up would be Frenzy. He was great!

The designs and animation on the TFs is seamless and a visual treat. All of the human actors were excellent. Shia is great as Sam and makes a perfect representation of Spike.
A couple of the Decepticons had the effect I was hoping for and even exceeded my expectations in places. The Autobots, with one exception, were perfect.

The first crowd I saw it with -- and the theater was pretty full - had to have been the best audience I've ever sat in a movie with. Lots of enthusiasm and infectious responses to what happened in the movie -- applauding character appearances and actions, laughing at all the right spots. The energy was great. As others have pointed out with similar experiences, this is the first time I've seen an audience clap during a scene. And it happened several times. The second time I saw it there were only a handful of people in the theater, so the responses were very low key but still positive.
This movie is going to 0WN the summer, if not the year.

So, it's Sunday at 12:30 here...which means it's only one week and about a day until I go see the Transformers movie! I'm already driving everyone around me crazy with it. Haven't decided yet whether I'm going to bring a toy but I'm definitely wearing some of my TF gear like the Tracks shirt and Autobot pin. I found a pair of TF PJ pants at KMart the other day and I'm tempted to wear them...

I had been planning to make one big update with a bunch of art and writing but once again my motivation has been sapped. Thanks to randomly dropping in on the LPdC forum I was reminded that I missed HoND's 11th anniversary on Thursday, so I finished coloring the Clopin picture. I have another HoND sketch I need to finish out.

I also had a picture that related to DuoDarkShinigami's Fall From Grace line art I colored but I can't decide whether to go through with posting it or not. It's my OC but I keep going back and forth on whether it's good enough to put here. I know there are mistakes in it but I still like it..Eh. Yay indecision.

EDIT: Oh btw, DA, your new submission thing is irritating. I'm annoyed I can't seem to toss my new stuff into the same exact categories as before. Why for can I not highlight the ones I already used?

Things at home have taken a...well, twist to say the least. I don't know where to begin but suffice to say I've got another load of stress just as one load was lightening. I'm going to sort through my own stuff and I will have some of my fannish memorabilia up for sale once I find the time to do so. Which is, of course, always the trick for me these days.

My thanks and sisterly love go out to and for helping me get through the last eight months with thoughts of Transformery goodness and the knowledge that I have a place to go home to when the time comes for me to leave here again.
