I haven't updated this thing ever since my classes started. I barely can keep up with art. I again am friendly *threatened* that I should FINISH art I actually start. There are tons of art still pending on my PC, and all I get when I get home is to fall on bed, try to do h/w and fall asleep. When waking up school again -_-
I keep telling myself that it's only one more year after this.

Aaaanyway... seems I wanna try to be artist for hire. Question is.. how much to pay for commissioning? I had a suggestion from a friend to charge 1$/hour (which would bring us around 7$ for 3/4 body with background). I would need more opinions on this one. I have trouble for working with virtual, fake currency; I am afraid I would charge too much/too little for my time, effort etc.

Today is first Sunday of Advent, which only means moar work for me. -_- My mom thinks just cause I am... errmmm, people say talented. I hate doing Christmas cards. So much glitter glue making me dizzy >_< wish me luck.

Hope my connection will work well by mid of December, so I can at least gift few backgrounds to my dear friends on dA.

Like brushes, patterns, textures, backgrounds etc. ? Most of my attention would go to brushes and backgrouds, maybe a lil bit of textures [ya know, mostly fabric, and once I get an actual camera maybe even more]

I am caught in an artistic madness. I tend to make a lineart, r 70% of pic, then just go to next one >> I got lectured I should actually finish em [If not, will be locked in basment for next 3 weeks lol; jk], since few have potential to be a quality peaces >_< That is practicly what ahpened to kiriban works. I jsut started both of those and umm, cant finish them. But I promisse, it will be by end of year.

Also what I see in future is few Halloween peaces and an attempt of participating in contest. [again, 60% finished work, pending on pc]
And the commissions... oh lord. I loe to draw couples, but Gods, the armors can be overcomplicated for my pea brain, so I have to break them into really really really small bits, which again takes centuries -_-

And so, my subby expired almost a month ago. >> Again thanks for donating it. What I will miss the most are the features with tumbinails in journals and critique potion ;_; [I loved the critique I got, was quite helpful with progress]
Hope the features helped some people to get a bit more exposure of their talents and skillz.
I am sorry, I was absent for a long time, and really could not catch up on so many entries. @,@ Same goes with favs. Will try to at least answer comments.

Was on forced hiatus for almost 2 weeks, so I apologize for not responding for a while. I had quite lack of inspiration on continuing to draw, was quite saddened too, but I had people that helped me back up. Thank you so much. I will continue to draw for my loved ones, for money once I get rid of awful flaws I have (here is the spot where I thank for all the criticism, I may sound a lil defensive, but believe me, I take the critique in consideration and try better next time)and for myself(oh, how this sounds selfish, but it's the truth)

As for future projects; I have 3 commissions, and 2 kiriban works(did them, but then realized I messed up on how OCs look ;_; ) And prolly few more tasks . Also I have to finish dance with the devil before 27th (got wip uploaded); It's actually almost done, but am waiting for some feedback first. there is a lil story behind it, doubt people will bother on figuring that out, but well, as long as they enjoy given moment, fine with me.) <3

Again, one big applause to :icondemonmathiel:, who generously donated me an one month subscription, which will run out tomorrow. It was fun, and finally I could try to help wonderful artists with great amount of talent. And also thank You for taking time to look at their work : D

Seriously, Why? It's not as nearly as perfect. All of my pics have flaws, mistakes, and I try to color and draw in an unique way[no need to ruin the pic with watermark or signature] So is it so hard to believe that semi-experienced 21 year old artist did that [it's bad considering my age =_=, I know, I know]

I got a nice book recommended from a friend. It's Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks. I know it's just a work of fiction... I would not recommend to read it when alone after midnight. =_= . But I got something good outta it. I am writing again! Not that I will upload it or make a graphic novel outta it. :/ But damn, it feels so good. I have not picked up pen and seriously wrote stuff for years.

As for OC-s made for well known cannons, keep it down with them. It is more likely that I refuse to draw. I prefer to work on your characters out of your universe. So far, I had best results with those. And I can put much more heart into it.
Give as much references as you can, but give me artist freedom to change clothes a bit [I am carefull that I don't do them out of character]
Also be precise, and do not expect me to deliver high quality work if yours if you invest minimal amount of time on yours [I do check people's galleries >_>]

A week ago I started to work on one new random project... I actually have put lots of detail and nerves in it. Things were doing great, was almost done with the peace [I had only sword left to finish] when suddenly the bluescreen :crash: appeared and restarted my pc. When I tried to access it afterward it showed me this message:
„Could not complete your request because an unexpected end-of-file was encountered. “
[I saved the file really often while working on it]
Obviously the .psd file got damaged. After short discussion with a friend, he recommended me some freeware that might recover doomed file. Unfortunately they did not. Afterward I tried with recovery for photoshop files, but [oh, how I love those buts…] it was only a demo, and there for, no use for me [It recovers the psd file, but not that only leaves a watermark, but the whole thing is completely black except the text that says that I should order full version… fair enough, but no money, ya know]. I am giving up from recovering that one*sigh*, the damage is way too big, but would be nice if anybody knows a good shareware [or at worst trial, no demo please] that can recover .psd and .pdd files. Thank you in advance : D

Now to fun part of journal. I haven't watched anime for quite some time [I am more manga person], but when I saw title of this anime, I immediately wanted to see it. I think, I watched it English dubbed, and no, it is not badly done at all, on my great surprise] I won't go into the plot much, I don't want to spoil for people that didn't watched it. It is historical/drama, and its settled in Japan at end of WW2. The story follows one sibling pair after they got orphaned and shows how they struggle to survive. I think I used up whole package of paper towels while watching. Seriously, I rarely cry, ever, but this movie moved me.
