Hello everyone. Not only am I back to drawing some things, but I am also interested in creating album artwork, designing albums and thinking of packaging concepts. Perhaps it is because of my exposure to pop art and pop music. At this time, I am back on deviantart after a very very long time. It is now time for artistic expression and satisfaction.

I am currently working on album artwork on my own music. Hopefully I will be able to post pictures of it to add to my portfolio. In fact, I believe that I am using deviantart for that purpose.

If you know anyone who might think that I will be able to help out in building album concepts or you might think that my art is appropriate, don't hesitate to send me a message. Depending on the work involved, I might not charge for anything at all, or at least some minimal fee. You understand that I am just building my body of work. Please help me improve and make my portfolio grow in size.

Thanks!

I am currently exploring GIMP for making my works. So I will be using that unless otherwise noted. Photoshop is a bit expensive for me.

Until next time.

Nick

Good morning, everyone! I choose to live.

For almost 4 months, I have been in a state in which I was contemplating suicide, but I believe that there is now so much to live for these days.

And as such, I have also gone back to a lot of things, including art. I should be posting some of my artworks very soon. Not only photography, but digital copies of my sketches, too. ("Digital Copies" = scanned versions)

So, wish me luck!

Ok. So I have been sick for the past few months. Right now, it feels like I'm half-floating, and that the reality around me isn't really present. But as you can see, I can still see, think and write, and thankfully my condition is getting better, I think.

I'm not really sure because my strength is fluctuating as much as the weather these days. When the sun beats down here, I get a headache. But when the sun hides behind the clouds, I feel better.

This situation is further aggravated by my recent depression (Yes, I thought I got over Patrick E.'s leaving and cutting of communications with me, but apparently I haven't and it took its toll on me.) Secondly, I suffered an ear infection and had a burnout over it. I got depressed by the situation further and had developed dyspepsia, which thankfully, I'm getting to control now.

Of course, it my dad's stressful behavior and this person working in my dad's office smelling of cigarettes is not helping.

I'm taking antibiotics. The doc said the ear infection might have not subsided so easily. I hope you guys pray for me if you still pray, and if you don't, at least hope that I will be better soon. Especially once I the school days come. To be honest, I'm so scared. But too scared that I almost can't feel it.

Thank you for your time.

So, finally I was able to "finish" my first work in a long time. It is, so far, an experiment, as I am new to this thing.

First of all, I am new to photography. I do not really know any techniques that professionals know. I have been using the camera, playing it by what my eyes would like to see. So, from painting and sketching, I have also entered the world of photography.

At the same time, I have also entered the world of digital art, as I have been taking photographs not as an end product, but "raw materials" which I can use to create an artwork. But of course, I can also take photographs that are end products, themselves. It is just a matter of choice.

My first work after a long hiatus (My last post was in March 2006, I think) is called "He Who Calls Himself Holy." It has existed in an earlier form (just a day early, though) in the form of "Study of The Holy Man." I had originally intended to call it "The Holy Man" but it seems that there are a lot of people who have already used that title in their artworks. Hence, the longer but relatively distinct name.

Ok. So, I have to admit that I have not posted anything for a very long time. But, recently I have been checking on what new things are happening here. Aside from that, I really need to explore this site so that I could be more inspired to post my works here.

As of now, I have been invited by Richard (~gravitycircle) to check out what has been called the "Two-Tone Army." I have seen it, although I have not really looked at it in detail, but I will be checking them some more, as I am finding this exciting.

As for Le Système d'Imagination (~plumangisip), it will still continue. However, I would like to apologize for the intense lack of activity lately. I should be looking for some way to revive interest in this group.
