Among these has been moving out and into my friend Blake's place, where we're now housemates. I still live in my home town, but get to be out more in the countryside, which we both enjoy for the additional privacy and larger property. I've enjoyed having more interior space to myself and finding a knack for decorating. I've been here since January, but I'm still sorting through boxes.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Been perusing over vehicles as of late, as the ol' Oldsmobile Silhouette ('97) is getting a bit, well, old. I've been looking for something with a decent amount of space to accommodate convention materials and, if able, similar materials belonging to friends along with said friends. I'm leaning towards the hatchback variants of either the '12 Ford Focus (new) or Toyota Prius (used), no older than an '09 or '08. But the latter really depends on the price that can be negotiated, as it seems to be the better vehicle of the two. (I mean, you can't get much better than an average of 41 mpg.) In either case, Consumers Report gave both good ratings. ]]></media:text>

(Always an enjoyable time, spending it with those two. Jason, too, of course.) I've been employed by a small, battery assembly factory through a work temp agency. It is good work, but has cut significantly into my personal time and energy that would otherwise be devoted to my art. As much as I would've liked to, it doesn't look like I'll be attending the Motor City Comic Con in May. There's some sentimental feelings that I have towards the show, since it was my first comic convention, both in visiting and attending as a guest in Artist Alley. If things turn out for the better, perhaps Detroit FanFare in September will be a possibility. This is in part due to the upcoming Detroit FanFare, which is fast approaching. Firstly, I've been working a full-time factory job as a temporary fill-in, and the hours just wear me a little thin during the week. Been giving it some thought and if Hellboy, Abe Sapien, and Liz Sherman (the central characters to Hellboy and the B.P.R.D. comics) weren't selling so well last year when I attended the Motor City Comic Con, there's no sense to invest valuable time into the lesser-known characters. I'll get to them eventually, but I'd rather focus my energy on artwork that will likely sell better at the upcoming convention, which brings me to the postcard zombie prints. Not too long ago I finished the storyboards for Scott's short film project, a Heinz Ketchup mock commercial, as well as :devSayoko:'s art trade. And for a while now I've been doing some stuff on the side with creating a fantasy RPG to play with my friends. Maybe I'll post some of the sketches and whatnot in my scraps. We could get through about a series a day, given it's an average of twenty-somethin' episodes. So here's some of what we saw: Neo Ranga, Origin - Spirits of the Past, Lupin the 3rd movies (5-10, I think), Chobits, Doomed Megalopolis, D.N.Angel, Nadesico the movie, and Bastard among others. My roommates had already moved out so we had the apartment all to ourselves, which was nice.
