CARD GAMES:

Anyone play the card game called Fluxx?

A friend made a LOTR and Monkee's version, So for Christmas presents I am making a Bleach version. If interested in wanting one let me know. I should have the deck done by the end of the month in time for December. I'm guessing 10-15$ bucks for the deck not including shipping.

This is a really fun and addicting game. The rules and goals are constantly changing and it is fun to read the cards and match the characters up etc.

Hello, My online name is Silverbeam, and I am a 3-D and digital artist. I am putting together a team to do an online comic or two.

I would like to do the comic in 3-D and While I can do many things, I am not good at everything necessary for this comic. therefore I will be recruiting a few of you excellent DA artists to help out.

I want to go a little simple and thought If I did a chibi art style it would be easier, fun, plus something different. Also this will not be payed, it is for fun and practice and notoriety.

I would be the main story teller and artist, but I need people with good ideas, good art skills, and fun energy to add to the group. If I could get someone who is excellent in doing chibi's that would help a lot. Even if all they would want to do is some of the artwork and then leave the rest.

I also need someone who is good with paneling and layout. This is an area where I do not do very well at. Of course anyone I get, is more than welcome to help me with the story especially the finer details.

I would like to do two comics. One, a fan comic of Kingdom hearts (for the LOL's and Fans) and an original fantasy/sci-fi story.

Next month it will be a year since I graduated and have been searching for work. I have a long way to go to where I want to be, and I hope to get a job that will help push me in that direction.

I have been reading a manga called... Bakuman [link]

It has been really helpful to help encourage and inspire me to continue to go after my dreams. I highly recommend it for a pick me up for all us artists and dreamers. My goal is to become an eye popping professional 3-d and 2-d artist. With lots of sci-fi and fantasy. I want to work on mainstream games and big movies. My beyond dream and wildest one is to make m own stories and video games with my art and work. I love being creative.


In my life right now, I am happy to have two baby sugar gliders me and my husband are raising. they are our first step to being parents in the future. We will be married 3 years in November. ((although we still live at my parents house...*sigh* times are tough!))

So my goals for the year.

1. Improve my demo reel and get a job
2. Exercise
3. Daily scripture study
4. Learn Japanese
5. Make an awesome manga/comic and write

So I'm trying to get a more professional reel done. Show off my work better, and fix and finish my best works. i also want to learn 3DS MAX and MAYA, but so hard to get myself to learn them without a teacher. I have trouble inspiring myself to learn form books, even if they are good books. Sigh. Oh well, I'll just have to push myself. Maybe a bribe of ice cream or something.

*They need to be nude/ or in body fitting underwear. (you don't have to get detailed don't worry! I just need them to be nude for the anatomy.)
*no hair on the nude reference. NO arms for the side view.
*Additional sheet of outfit/ accessories (optional). Make it match nude reference sheet please.
*does not have to be colored....
Advise(can make the clothes and hair light or transparent on your original sheet)

So over the weekend my teeth started to hurt....that was like the 6th.....
By tuesday they were starting to become a pain. WEnsday it became so bad that I begged a dentist to see me. Me and my husband don't have insurance yet so tuesday we were looking at our options for financing etc. But it was so bad, so rapidly that I wen into a local dentist here after scool that wensday. They took x-rays n stuff to find out that My wisdom teeth on the top were coming in. I had my bottom ones out several years ago, and it didn't look like they were coming in at all then. So not only wisdom teeth, but they were coming in sideways, pushing against the other teeth and of course GROWING INTO A BIG NERVE.....ouch! It was such a trick thing, that he couldn't do the surgery and recommended a oral surgeon.
He prescribed antibiotics and painkillers, and all was a little less painful....for a little while.....when a few hours after a priesthood blessing, the pain became so severe I went to the ER at the hospital that night. practically nobody there, so we go into the room...but still waited forever for a doctor to show up. They basically couldn't do anything for me, but did prescribe an oral gel for me. They gave me a little dose there and then, some liquid thing. it numbed a little so I could at least get to sleep.

Meanwhile I missed school the next day...Now my school only allows 4 days out of the three months absence, or you have to repeat...I had already missed my alloted four days due to migrains and a bad cold that affected my asthma and breathing. So Lets just add the stress on there eh?

So next morning, the pain was slow to come back, but it did comeback and even worse thn ever. Mom went to get prescibed gel, and alas it did nothing, neither did the other pain killers prescribbed, but make me nauseous and throwup.....YEah.....

The little bit of hope was that i discovered constant cold water sipped and then spat out,stopped the pain...If I didn't keep it up, exchanging the water every 3 seconds (no im not exaggerating) the pain became so unbearable I would have killed myself. eeeeeeeeeee

Luckily I have a brother in law 3hours south at dental south. he was able to call around and get ma an appointment for the following morning with the professor of oral surgery down there....HALLELUJAH! So My mom, Brother Will, and me packed up (with jugs of ice and water) and left on the three hour trip. One stop for ice, and two for the bathroom, one being an emergency side of the road...potty trips later, I made it to my sisters. They lovingly took me and helped to cheer me up. They were so wonderful.

THANK YOU MOM, Robin, Will, Amy, SEAN,And my Husband Chris Especially! (and the oral surgeons.....Oh I love them!) Others of course my friend Heather, who was staying over and leaving that weekend...more crazy fun there!
also, Ben and Dad, and all those who grabbed my ice and water and whatever else I needed.

So although very tired, I stayed up all night swishing water. Robin and will stayed up late with me and we watched funny movies n stuff like SEAN OF THE DEAD! Robin even woke up later at like 3 and stayed up the rest of the night with me and we watched a funny Korean? movie about people in an insane Asylum and this girl who though she was a cyborg. The most random movie ever. It was great. I manged some very soggy cereal early that morning.. The most food I had had in a long while. The hours seemed to last fore ever but finally I was able to make it through and Robin took me over to the school and Sean walked me back to the oral surgery. It was a little rocky at first on how they wanted to do it if at all that day because i was so inflamed or something from the pain. I had trouble opening my jaw from it....blah...But finally laughing gas, and shots and a few minutes later...THE TEETH WERE GONE!!!! They were Uber quick! I loved them so much and they let me keep my teeth. They also charged me two for the price of one...bless them.
I was finally able to go back to my sisters and sleep...ah bliss. A storm was coming in so we left that afternoon....I got a slushie when we got gas...yeah! and We went home...Another cool thing about my loving parents was taht they had vacation and left the following morning when we got back...so cool of them.

sooooo nice relaxing weekend of slimfast, shakes and juice. Today I went back to school and showed of my fleshie, bloddy teeth to anyone who dared look. My brother will has offered to cast my teeth, I may take him up on it....But the best news of all was that Jeff agreed to let me graduate this block and not repeat as long as I dont miss anymore days and keep a good grade...YEAH! so this is the end of my teeerible teeth tale.

I know exactly how you feel. But The thing is, you still need to love it because it is in fact your creation. It may not be the picture in your mind yet, and honestly I don't know if artists every get to the point to be able to capture the images onto the page. But we do create, and loving the ability to be creative of what used to be nothing is something more....That keeps me going. Also seeing how everything I make is one step closer to being closer to what I want. The same thing goes for all other sorts of work. Writing takes lots of practice and patience, music, years of training, sports countless practices... Take heart in the fact that as long as you can enjoy the journey, enjoy each stride that you take. Learn new things, keep experimenting, just do as you feel.
WE may never truly reach our destination as artists, but as long as we all enjoy the trip, Whatever the destination is, will be glorious for the tremendous journey.

Holidays were fun this year. Robin came home, and so did Amy and the new baby Kirk along with her funny husband Sean. I did a little 3-d work by buildibng a lightsaber and a keyblade for presents, oh and a robot for my hubby. It was all crucnehd toegetrh to do gifts since I didn't have much time between when school ended wensday and a wedding I played at and then chritmas.....WE all passed around a coold which I got the sunday befor xmas and am now a week later finally starting to feel better. Also do not go to st augustine on a saturday during the holidays traffic was horrible and it was crowded. WE still had fun though., Had really good Icecream .
I will start school up again soon and for new years weree ahvinf a halo party and gettin lost of x boxes together and playing. WEEEEEeeeee

I started school today! It's so cool. For anyone who loves 3-d animation, producing, special effects etc. This is it!!!!! Friednly personal help you attitude with the work and get it style. First of all let me link you directly there.

First of all the atmosphere is nice. Friendly, like a family. Has a good positive spirit.
They have the skills and the experience for teachers. Thses guys have worked on startrek, Seaquest, and more!

They are geared to getting you with the know how and problem solving knowledge of being in the career. they are dynamic and have lots of connections and good job placement.
Plus i got a anual pass to universal studios. Totally cool First day of class and we go on the MIB ride so the owner can get our pictures taken there...It was so funny.
A room full of 34 geeks, nerds, dorks, anime lovers, gammers, etc. It is so exciting. it sounds like an intensive program but they aim to teach so you'll get it and learn all the skills you need. You get your money's worth!
Their's not too many schools out there with this sort of program. And this is the only one teaching lightwave, which does about 1/4 of all the special effects in the industry. They also teach it so that you can use whatever software you come across. i get a student discount to get the program for only 100$!!!! no where else does that.
Sure it's gonna be early. My only downner so far is that. class is from 8-1 and i have to get up at 6 to make it there on time. hour to an hour and half drive because of traffic. Still it's not so bad. i'm excited to learn all this stuff.

Is there going to be a live-action movie?
Yes, maybe three of them. The showbiz magazine Variety announced on January 8th, 2007 that filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan has signed a 3-picture deal with Paramount's MTV Films and Nick Movies to write, direct and produce a live-action film adaptation of "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The film version is to be produced at Paramount.


WEIRD!!! The director who did: 6th sense, signs, Lady in the water, etc will be doing an avatar movie....weird...but I'm excited all the same. Should be cool, i hope.

Last weekend we had the marriage of Jd Bandy and Evan dickenson. It was adorable and made me n chris feel like we were getting married again, but this time without the stress and exhaustion. Quite nice really, very traditional. I got a second job with Hidden potential. A group that does in home care for those with mental handicaps. Its a new program that through medicare they get someone to wtach/ play with/ teach their kid in the home with the handicap. It took a while of phone tagging befor I got a hold of my client, but the fun news is that they are members. Totally cool. rebecca is 16? and she has only minor disabilities. She reminds me a lot of my friend Christy. I start later this week. It's about 15 hours at 10$ an hour. so it should be fun. Don't know when I'll be moving out with chris yet. Were still looking at finances. Hopefully our grants will come through for school and maybe that will help with housing too. you never know.

On a p[essimistic note I'm having a ruff week. A cat got into the chicken coop and killed all but one of the chickens....They were a birthday gift to replace the dogs that died a year ago. Mom wants to get more, but I really don't want prey as a pet. I couldn't handle it if it happened again. To make matters worse there was a huge fight that day, and I was already having a bad depression bout. Not a lot of fun let me tell you. It'll take me probably a week to really recover from it all.
Good news is that there is a japanese convention this weekend. So I may go to that.

I'm planning on buying Fushigi Yugi and Magic knights RAyearth...(But if anyone wanted to get them for me as b-day presents feb. 26...let me know ) My depression was good when I just started school. This week it's a bit low, but I have a doctors apt. this month so things will level out soon I'm sure. Some little girls from a ward members family love coming over and playing with us. They are really cute and add a bit of noise to the house. WE celebrated chinease newyear by having a large homemade chinease dinner and invited some people over. It was really good. Camille is still out of work but she is looking at teaching english in Taiwan in March. William bought a scooter, and it should hopefully come today. Stake conference was good, except when a speaker talked about how you have to finish your mission and me and mom left early. Camille joined the commujity orchestra with me and it is a lot of fun. WEre Playing Mars, by Holst, and march slave, and a bunch of really nice pieces. Oh I met a guy on LDS linkup who lives about 45 minutes northwest from here. He's nice but not really my type. He'll at least be a friend who enjoys anime n stuff. other than taht, I'm excited for my b-day the 26th and camilles the 21at. Course Ben is the 26th too.

So Aunt Paula and Dwin and little Ian came to visit over the weekend. That was fun. Finnaly family we can realate with. (their nerds and gammers too!) It is so nice to have family that love you and not only that but are friends that like similar things.

I miss my Cedar friends though, They truly enjoy and appreciate the playful BG. I miss hanging out with them.
On a plus side I get to go to the temple this friday with my parents and sister. That should be fun. We maybe could do a sealing too. I've never done one befor. Should be cool. mayby even do an initiatory, I've only done mine and that was befor they changed it.

I've been thinking a lot about weakness. There's a verse in the Book of mormon that talks about how we are given weaknesses so that we remain humble and with the Lord we can make weak things become strong.
I don't believe that we can get rid of all of or weaknesses, but we can learn how to work with them.. Especially physical limatations. I mean blindness or handicaps are weaknesses, but they can be learned to make you stronger.

We have so many different kinds of weaknesses that we need to learn from, and just plain deal with >:[ they can be a pain. Especially tryin to find strength to overcome them and keep a smile. That's when stat sneaks up on you and whispers lies and tries to keep you from gainig that strength. It's like Lahonti (prob. spelled his name wrong) He was poisoned by degrees, not just stabbed with a javelin. If satan came at us with a javelin we'd probably notice it. But he doesn't he slowly poisons our minds.

Darn him...I hate the little bugger!
I vote we go on a quest and squash the little bugger.

He's really hard to ignore at night when you try to sleep. Thus the lack of sleep I've been having lately. I'm scared to go to bed at night, because that's when the thoughts come, thoughts of failure and your to weak.He takes the worst truth about you and makes it a neverending cycle of doubt and doom.
spreading doom is supposed to be BG's job. *sigh* Thank goodness for God, I know he won't doom me but help me to succeed as I keep my faith and love for him and others.

Well life's been the usual up and down. Family is coming this and next week to visit...Huh you move to florida and suddenly family decides to visit more. go fig. I'm having problems with allergies...blah, but I had fun watching hitchhikers and other movies I haven't seen yet.

ugh, tired today. Didn't get much sleep last night. I'm trying to figure out what will be happening next in my life. Being inbetween points in your life really sucks. I want to go back to my original college cause I have such good friends there. But it really doesn't have what I need in a school. I've been checking out colleges around the area, trying to find one that teaches What I want to do in life. Basically gaming and 3-d design etc. all that cool art stuff. All the good colleges with that field in mind are outrageously expensive though. *sigh* ah well the investigation continues.

Sleeping and dealing with health issues continues to be an annoying little problem. Sometimes in the lone of the night, you can just feel that little broken area inside that hurts, and your afraid that it will never mend again....cause no matter what you do, it remains there waiting for you to be vunerable to remind you that you are a broken little girl, too small for dreams and special things in life. Always to struggle just for the average. Duty, Expectation, Glory all demand more from what you believe you can give. Only the Atonement can save us all. But how many times can I be forgiven? untill I stop asking for help?

To be less like a captive and more like the free......(see the song "A little more like thee" on the cd especially for missionaries.)

Anyway my trip to LA over Easter was great. It was a lot of fun to visit with my sisters and they were all super nice! WE all had lots of fun. I got to try different foods, indina, thai(spell?), mongolian bbq, a pollo loco and the usual japanese. The bus trip was long but okay.
I got to visit Camilles archeology site and it was super cool. It was sooo big! there were like 40 people under taht big tent and skeletons and stuff everywhere. A very neat experience. Go Camille. Amy's office was neat. The building is gorgious on the inside and the manwall was quite fun in her cube...hehe...
I got to briefly talk with Andy, Amy's cutie pie! He sounds nice. For easter we all sang in the choir. There was a latin piece and a german piece. Both pretty cool. For dinner we went to a friends in a fancy houe in the hills and had a good dinner. What was cool was the fruit in the backyard that we got. Fresh tangerines....Yummmmmmm.
Me and Robin went to the Getty art museum..man the bui,ding was big and the modern art of it's structure was fun with all the water features. The garden was amazing...Mom ya gotta go!
We all went to see Ella enchated at the chinease theater mall thing. WE also got amke overs there and I got the sexy eye treatment. I also got a glance at the hands too. I also got to get my pants wet at the pacific ocean! NEato! and we walked down venice beach. I think that's a quick rundown of everything. Tons of fun anyway....hope to do it again.

In other words I clean bathrooms and the student rooms. Which means I get keys to the building...mwahahaha! BEHOLD MY POWER! anyway. I reallly like it so far. I get to clean by myself and wear head phones, the work is not to hard at all(so far), time goes fast, I can wear anything, 6$ an hour, and the manager is super nice. I also have some friends working the same job. It will be little bits of work untill the summer where it will be full time mon-friday 7/8am-4/5pm in the summer.
Heather imy roomate is trying for the same job and finish up school. She will live at her parents house during the summer to save up for school. Many of my friends will go home for the summer but Tani, and the guys will also be staying in cedar besides HEather.
Grandma Jolley visited the other day and we went to eat out at Sizzlers. Yum! Thanks Grandma! Grandma Bradshaw, sho I live with is having pain in her back but the pain pills,belts, and cushions help. She is also reading a lot of fun literature church stuff and the "good old times".
I am babysitting For Ryan and Jen jolley friday morning so I get to play with Brinley again...she's so cute, and trying to walk around. Damon is a sweetie too. He's starting to crawl.

Looks like the earliest I can go on a mission will be around august. So far I'm planning on august or september to leave. I wouldn't be able to leave early enough to get back home befor spring semester so I'm not worring about it. I'm also doing a lot of art and trying to start writing. I'm also woriking on physical and spiritual goals like going to be early and getttin up early etc.

Hurray for me too! I got a job for the summer that I might enjoy. Housekeeping at the dorms. Kinda nice cause I just quit my other job that I hated. I start in two weeks where I will do little bits of work as needed untill full time after school ends. My roomate got a job too! She's working at Iceberg. So all is well here. Specially since I get to go see my sisters over easter and were gonna go sailing! yeah! I also went on an almost date saturday. A guy ((Heather Watson's brother...Roomate of Jami Danis)) by name of Derric guess he liked me when we briefly met thursday and asked me to go see ROTK with him. Very cool. The other girls in the partment came too so it wasn't a real date. But it was fun. Last night Mark wanted to go see a movie but it turned out to be "r" so we did a bit of deathmatch classic(half life with quake levels)) at the game store instead. Ah reminiscing old times with my bros. So that's about it. Now All I have to do is go to the bank today and pay rent....call parents inform them of job change....and find a ride back from the bus stop when I get back from LA on wendsday. okay...

Grandma had fun decorating..(she didn't wait for us to help...*Sniffle*) the tree and little village n stuff are up. I have plenty of work hours this week, and I have my concert for institute choir friday and next week the 15-17....yeah!
