So, I'm back at lovely school (which started early this year... GRR). It's crazy that it's my last year of high school already. O__O I still remember when I was in kindergarten! Scary stuff.

Anyways, my courses are pretty good this year. This term, I have Physics 20, Chemistry 30, English 30-1 and Musical Theatre! Next term I have Physics 30, Social 30-1, Math 30 and Art 30. And Band all year. C:

So far, Musical Theatre is quite fun. We're doing Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Auditions are next week, and then we find out the cast list the week after... eee, I'm anxious. But it should be good fun no matter what role I get.

Oh yeah, and in Band we get to play Aladdin. 8D This makes me very happy.

Art

For some reason I find myself having NO TIME for anything art-related lately. This needs to change. |: I have a bunch of half-finished stuff that I need to finish.

Other

I'm... debating about perhaps getting a new DA account. One with a better username. I think I made up this username when I was... 12...?
But I'm not sure if it would be worth it. What are your thoughts?

So I figured I'd update this thing again. Summer's going well so far, I'm making money and such. (And I'm murdering my sleep schedule, as you can tell... posting this at 5:18 am YEAH)

The sad part is though that most of my friends are on vacation right now >: So I'm not getting out very much other than going to work. I'm sort of lonely.

I've also realized that I ought to be updating my DA a lot more, because I like getting comments and stuff on here. But I only get those if I add stuff. I also like talking to people on here, but conversations never seem to last that long. ):

So view this as an invitation to start talking with me! It doesn't matter about what... ask me questions about things; my characters, my art, what have you. Just comment on random stuff. Exams finished around half a week ago, and me, along with a few of my other friends all went to the pool across the street. It was so fun and felt sooo nice to be out in the sun and in the water. A great way to greet summer, in my opinion. ^^

Then yesterday I went to another friend's birthday party, which was also really fun. We had brownies and played tennis and I had fun hitting the ball everywhere. XD She also gave me a bunch of new music to listen to, which was awesome! C:

Now I'm off on a vacation to Vancouver/Victoria for 2 weeks. They're cool cities, but I hate driving eheh. Oh well. It'll be worth it. ^^
Then right after I'm off to my writing camp for another week. P: And I don't know yet but I may be going somewhere with my dad the week after that. Yeah, July is really packed. x_x

I'll miss my tablet when I'm gone though. ): I promise to finish and upload like the 5 things that I have half-done when I get back!

In other news, school is going okay even though I have hardly any friends in most of my classes. But it's okay because I'm making new ones! And I have a spare this term. It's very helpful.

Update: 8D Today my dad and my grandma took me to an empty parking lot with her hybrid automatic and I drove around! It was really fun, and at the end I drove on the roads a little bit! I'm pretty good at turns and stuff now. Now that I've done it once I think I'm hooked; I can't wait until I get to do it again XD Unfortunately my mom's car is a standard and she is very protective of it so I can't drive that yet, but hopefully I'll get to go with dad again soon. (Not in his truck though. That thing is so big and you can't see out the back XD)

SO I got a cellphone for Christmas that comes with unlimited texting. I am a happy person. I have been putting it to good use so far.

You may have noticed my last few deviations have more humans in them lately. Yes. I am on a human kick right now. Don't know how long it will last (maybe permanently!) But I am proud of myself that I'm actually uploading stuff lately. Whether that stuff is actually good or not is another matter, but oh well XD I shall be drawing more!

Yesterday my siblings and I made snow goons on my dad's front yard. One of them had antennae and the other had two heads, one of which was yelling. They all had big noses.

Only 9 more school days until Christmas breaaak! Man, the year has gone by really fast so far. o___o I'm getting old. I know I am. My life is flashing before my eyes!

My art teacher, for example, is really opinionated and is really annoying. She should mark on the amount of effort something has in it, not whether or not it fits in with what she thinks looks good. It turned out how I wanted it to look, why are you taking marks off just because you don't like what I did with my art? I hate to say it, but I'm a big mark perfectionist when it comes to subjects that I think I'm good at, and when I get somebody telling me I'm not, it really upsets me more than I think they'd ever expect.

Also, I've noticed that stress just makes me want to procrastinate more. Not really a good habit to get into.

And I've also noticed that I'm feeling more jealous and stuff lately. Like, it seems like nobody actually cares about anything I do or make. Specifically if I ever put a large amount of work into something, it never seems as if it was worth it. So I dunno, that's probably another reason for my unmotivation. It seems like the doodles I do in the margins of my notes during school are better than any picture I actually try to draw to completion, because they're faster and don't need colour, and yadda yadda yadda. :/

So anyway... yeah, that's the main reason why I haven't been doing so much lately. Even though I do have my lovely markers. I sometimes colour the doodles I do in school and then cut them out and glue them in my sketchbook when I don't need the assignment anymore, but none of it is worth scanning anyways.

Oh, on another negative note, I really hate it when people always put themselves down and say that their art sucks or whatever just to get compliments. It's not being modest, it's just annoying. Don't be like "Oh, yeah... this is my art. Doesn't it suck? Make sure your eyes don't melt if you look at it." And then people respond with, "Nooo, your art is good; it doesn't suck!" which is exactly what they want to hear, but then they deny it in the hopes of more compliments.

Okay. Finally, on a rather random note, Chicago the Musical is awesome. We get to play it in band, and I get a solo in "All That Jazz". X3 Cell Block Tango is also so cool. Here, you can listen to them if you want:

Anyways, I haven't updated this in foreeever. Some news is in order, I guess.

I'm back at school, classes are going fine. I have a full schedule with no spares this year, plus band. This year is a tour year, and we get to go to California for a week at the end of April! I joined the youth volunteer corps and the art club as well, where we get to paint murals and stuff. I'm looking forward to that. ;D

I'm also doing fall field hockey, which I really like. I FINALLY HAVE MY OWN STICK!
Some other sadder news...
I don't think I've mentioned on here yet, but one of my budgies had three babies over the summer. Their names are Jewel, Corrolax and Koopa and they're really really cute. Unfortunately, we took their mom, Skye, to the vet because she looked like she was having some troubles with her beak and was having trouble eating. Turns out she had cancer. ): She was put down because she was in a lot of pain. It was really sad, she was such a sweet little budgie. Rest in peace, Skye.

Finally, I did get a job over the summer, at the zoo. It's over now because I enjoy having my weekends off, but I did make quite a bit of money while I was there. So to treat myself, I bought myself 38 prismacolor markers. They're really fun so far. X3

This past week has been really hot. Like, in the 20s and above. What I'd like to know is, why couldn't we have had this weather in AUGUST? DX

On Wednesday I'm going with my school band up to Edmonton for an overnight trip. We're going to be playing at a festival there. Not terribly exciting since Edmonton is a highly boring place, but overnight trips are always fun.
Oh yeah, and my brother got SSB:B yesterday. He like got to the store at 10 am to get it, and then played it straight through 'till dinnertime. I haven't actually tried it yet. He's invited all his friends over so there hadn't been any room for me to try it. XD
OH and my dad also bought the first Phoenix Wright game for me on ebay. It still has to arrive, though. ^_^

Recently, my neopets account silvermare200 was frozen, the reason being for supposedly 'osting profanity'. Now, the only thing I can think of that I posted that might have been considered profane was the acronym 'wth'. While I didn't know at the time that it was wrong to post, and since it wasn't stopped by the filters anyways I assumed that there was nothing wrong with it, after I had my account frozen I did take the time to re-read the terms and conditions to try and figure out exactly what I had done wrong to merit a freezing. I think that what happened to my account was not entirely fair.

While I understand full well that swear words of any kind are not allowed to be posted, I did not try to post a swear word, and neither did I try to misspell a swear word so that it would get through the filters and cause upset. Causing harm was the last thing I could have ever wanted with my post. I was simply using an acronym that I have become somewhat accustomed to using in certain areas of the internet, one which could have had multiple interpretations. In fact, in my household the most common 'h' word we use is the lesser of the two most known ones, 'heck', in other words, and I often use the expression 'what the heck', which I am pretty sure is not classified as a swear word. And while I do realize that the acronym can of course be taken to mean 'what the hell' as well, I believe that speculation on what the acronym meant is not enough evidence to merit a freezing.

I valued my account a lot, more than a lot, and when I found out that I had been frozen I was devastated. Neopets means a lot to me, and was more than just neopoints and items. I was an avid contributer to the Neopian Times, and every time I got a comic in, and recieved a fan neomail, my ego would soar and I would feel really good about myself. Playing Neopets was usually the best part of my day, and I would look forward to getting home from school so that I could play it. I was mostly involved with the creative side of Neopets, and I loved the fact that there was a place where I could exhibit my skills without fear of embarrassment, which sadly is a common issue in my age group, since everybody there shared my same interests. I was in the second council position of my guild, which is full of wonderful, amazing people who would always make me feel better if I was having a bad day. My account also holds a lot of sentimental value to me, since I have been playing for four years all on the same account, and over that time I have become incredibly attached to it.

Believe me, I have already regretted posting what I did countless times, and wish that I could go back in time so that I could change what I posted into something that couldn't be misinterpreted as profanity. I'm sure that giving me a warning, or even suspending me would have been more than enough to get the message across about what I had done wrong and would have the desired effect: that I would be more careful with my posts in the future, or even just blocking the acronym in the first place so that it wouldn't have been able to get through the filters and all this could have been avoided. I have never gotten suspended before, and the only warning I've gotten was quite a while ago, and was for posting a sentence backwards on the boards when we were talking about writing backwards, which I assume somebody must have thought was random gibberish that had no meaning and reported. I never questioned that matter because for one, I wasn't sure how to submit an enquiry of that nature and two, I thought the offence was so minor that it hardly needed to be thought of. Other than that, in the four years I have been playing Neopets I have always followed the rules and always intended to, because breaking rules holds no appeal for me, and I love my account much too much to think of doing something that might cause me to lose it.

I believe that because of my good record and the rather soft nature of my infraction, at least in my opinion, that my account did not deserve to be frozen. Thank-you very much for taking the time to review my situation and thank-you even more if you unfreeze my account. I never had any intention whatsoever of what I posted to hurt anyone or make anyone uncomfortable in the slightest, and I sincerely hope that it didn't. I promise that if I do get my account back that I will be much more careful in the future. Once again, thank-you.

Okay my neopets account has just gotten frozen for 'osting profanity'. Yes, I did post WTH. (And I am sort of ashamed to say this but I did try to post 'wtf' before but it didn't get through the filters so I thought no harm done). WTH to me means what the heck usually. I really don't swear all that often at all.
I know that neo says that you can't try and misspell words to get around the filters. That's not what I did. That acronym could have meant anything really and if it was wth then it definitely could mean what the heck. That's usually what I normally say anyways. I mean, I was talking about christmas commercials starting on November 4. I'm allowed to be weirded out by that I think.

Please guys I think I'm seriously going to cry right now. I've had that account for four years and I love love love it so much. I love my NT trophies and I love my pets and their designs and characters and I had almost 2 million NP and more in items (not that that's what really matters) I mostly love my hard earned art trophies and my pets and my roleplay and the age of my account and everything and my neopian times and I already said that but I had seventeen comics on there and my characters I can't replace my characters for the neopian times

so yeah that's all I have to say about that for the moment; I'm going to try my hardest to get my account back because it really is the best part of my day and I dunno if you guys, my wonderful friends sending in reports or your opinions or anything helps but you never know..... you can try I guess

Haha. My budgie laid an egg on the floor of their cage. It's little and pink and looks like one of those candy eggs with chocolate in the middle and a candy outside, like a smartie. XD
I feel bad for it though. It's probably not going to survive since the budgies aren't going to sit on it. But who knows what's going on in the megablox...
I've been mentioning this everywhere lately, but for those of you who haven't heard yet, our school band (which I am a part of 8D) is playing Phantom of the Opera for one of our pieces. There's this one part in the middle of the song where everybody pauses, and I get to scream as loud as I can in that pause! 8D It's sooooo fun!

I think my budgies are making a next in the box of Mega-Blox. They climb in and stay in for a long time. It's bad though because they can't always go in it when they're in their cage, and we can't check up on them if they really are because if we did we might hurt the nest or something. Okay. My mom bought a house. So I guess it's offical that we're moving. Possesion date is in the middle of January.
I guess the house is okay. I got my pick of the bedrooms when we went to look at it. :3
And I'm getting a computer in my room! Yay for bribes. X3 Might as well make the most of things you can't change.

And yeah. School tomorrow. Grade 10. Highschool. O: I'm really going to be a 'big kid' again. Heh.

And we got a Wii! So far all we have is Wii Sports and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption. Since I fail at Metroid and just like watching it, I've done a lot of Sports. I've become quite good at golf. :3
Oh yeah, and making Mii's is addicting.

Ugh. My mom had the wonderful idea of springing the news that she's thinking (more than thinking, she's started to plan it and everything) of selling our house and moving. The house I've lived in since I was four. The one with the really nice backyard and my bedroom with its own sink and tons of space and really close to all my friends and etc. etc. And it's really prime real-estate, so it's worth a LOT. I guess that's why she wants to sell, while the market's up and all that.
BUT SERIOUSLY! WHY DID SHE HAVE TO BE SO SUDDEN ABOUT IT! I'VE ONLY LEARNED ABOUT THIS A FEW DAYS AGO AND SHE'S ALREADY TALKING ABOUT IT AS IF IT'S OLD NEWS!
My parents are REALLY bad at picking times to tell us bad news. Like the time they told us they were going to get divorced, around 3 days before christmas. Yeah, that made for one happy christmas, alright! Why couldn't they have waited until after, at least! They thought that the happiness of christmas wouldn't make it seem quite so bad I guess. -_-;
And now she's telling me this when I'm already depressed enough as it is about summer being over and school starting and all that, and now I have to worry about this, too! GOD, she makes me mad!
I think I heard that the posession of the house she's thinking of moving into is turned over in January or something. So..... yeah. That's before my birthday. How terriffic.
BASICALLY, if I seem like I'm in a bad mood more often than usual from now on, it's probably the reason why. I'm don't really handle change that well. >>;

Anyways. We may be getting a Wii tomorrow, yey. My brother and sister and I are splitting the cost so we'll only have to pay 100 dollars each. I can't wait!

I've been taking clay again at the art center, it's really fun and I've just been making all sorts of animals. :3 That art center is one of my favourite places evar.
I dunno how I'm going to get my sculptures home though; they're really big and i have three of them. An elk, a wolf, and a cow. XD
