A combination of a stomach ulcer and my own laziness when it comes to taking my meds on a daily basis. The latter I found out can cause almost all my symptoms so you add an ulcer on top of that and its no wonder I was sick as a dog.

I still get horrible headaches almost every day but so far no one has figured out whats causing that so I just take Excedrin and try and work around it.

I have been doing new art but I've just been way to lazy to upload it here. Though I might post at least two of my latest projects soon.

My dad told me over dinner on thursday night "Oh by the way we're leaving for North Carolina tomorrow" for course this was news to me so I spent all night grabbing clothes, doing laundry and generally running around like a chicken with my head cut off while he told me to do other stuff, the same continued friday morning.
See the small problem with not informing the other party going on the trip with you of the departure date is that MAKE PLANS, you know like normal people do. *grumble* so we had to work around my dentist appointment for fitting my crowns (temps) that I had gotten two days before so we left right from the dentist office at one-ish. Once we got in the car and started driving his attitude improved greatly although he smoked like a chimney the whole way up there and back. Cigarette smoke makes my eyes buuuuurn and tends to give me headaches so that was less than cool but otherwise the trip up was good. We got up there late on friday night and wen to huddle house for my favorite waffle in WHOLE world, their strawberry waffles really are to die for, I think in the two days we were up there I ate...5 of them?

Anyway we spent time with my grandparents, my aunt and uncle who were in from Washington, my aunt that lives about 40 minutes away from my grandparents. It was good to see them all and I was looking forward to seeing my only cousin for his birthday which fell on easter this year, we were all supposed to get together for a b-day/easter but he didn't get a project finished for work that was due the next day so no Vince for me and no birthday present for him. This did not make Lindsay happy.

However! when we were on the way out of town this morning we decided to make a small detour to Winding Stair Gap which dad took last year in April by mistake. Oh my gosh it was pretty! he got lots of pictures at the outlook there while I was diggin out my combat boots from the backseat so I could go down the mountainside where I saw a worn path. I grabbed the camera from dad, who didnt want to hurt his back on the little adventure and went solo. I found a HUGE rock outcropping and a beautiful stream/river that was apparently the ice/snow run off from the gap itself. It was kinda scary since there was a steep drop down the gully but I used a nice big tree as a rest and took it slow going back up. Just when we turned around from going through the gap and snapping shots of the ice down the sides, it started to snow! I haven't seen snow since I was about 11 so I was THRILLED! on the drive home we drove through snow on and off through about half of Georgia and I stuck my arm out in it and actually got some on my sleeve Can you tell I'm a true Floridian, through and through? I even packed my flipflops! though they never left the care this trip.

Read two books both were Christmas gifts from Jen, Guilty Pleasures by Laurell K. Hamilton (where I cried in the end, god I'm a sap) and Full Moon Rising by Keri Arthur. Both of them inspired me greatly, Jaime get ONLINE! I'm on serious RP withdrawl T_T

Also, got my art done on my trip, at all. Kinda sad but I didnt have much time for it anyway.

When I got home mom was running around trying to get all the animals fed, we have 11+ raccoons and 7 Squirrels not to mention all the animals we normally have, she was frayed to say the least. That being said it was welcome home, now help me feed animals. Not what I was looking forward to >_>


Well its now 4 am, I'm dead tired but very happy to have gotten all that out here at least.

I must admit I've forgotten how much it sucks without one >_< I have over a thousand Deviations in my watch (1212 to be exact) because I like to keep them around for inspirations without having to go through my favorites.

Apparently thats coming back to haunt me at the moment since I can only see the most recent 100 now and see past those 100 T_T

on another note I'm still sick with those nasty stomachaches and headaches and the doc doesn't seem to have a clue (isn't that reassuring?) so I don't really know what to do except wait and see. I've been avoiding fatty foods in case its purely dietary but it doesn't seem to make a lot of difference.

My video card on my desktop computer (the one that I do all my artwork on and play WoW on) died on the 26th due to a broken fan bearing which caused a massive overheat and failure. Still dont really know why it was giving me graphical rips when playing WoW since May but now its fried it doesnt matter.
Ironic since it died in November and I got it in October of last year so it was just over the warranty.

I reread The Golden Compass on Friday night in preperation to see the sneak preview on sat with my best friend but she ended up not being able to go so now I have time to finish the rest of the series before the movie.

Since I cant do any of my usual digital art till I can find a new video card (Stupid AGP slot) I've been trying my hand at Watercolors again. Thankfully I seem to be improving since my latest trials haven sucked as badly as my watercolors usually do.
If I can find the drivers for my ancient scanner online I should be able to hook up said scanner to the laptop and upload my bookmarks here.

Oh! I cant decide what I want to carve on my pumpkin this year, I did a nice crow silhouette on a branch against the moon but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it. I might go buy a second pumpkin to do something totally geeky on. I was thinking about doing a traditional D&D dragon (maybe a bronze or black)

on a different note I have decided that I'm either going to fix my computer to make it run WoW or I'm buying a new computer. I cant take it anymore! 5 months is too long and absolutely refuse to miss the Halloween festivities. I joined last year a week before Halloween with a character I no longer play so I don't have any of the cool festive stuff from last time.

I've backed up almost everything important on my computer except some RP records which I'll do tonight. After that I have the fun of call my computer manufacturer to get the info on my motherboard so I can get the newest chipset drivers.

Thats the last thing Blizzard has to try on its graphics issues help page. If/when that fails I dont know what to do, it looks like I'll be getting contact with Rassalla and see if anything he has me try will work.

If none of those solutions fix my problem then it look slike I have to invest in a new computer >_<

1) I constantly find pencils, pen and paintbrushes I thought I had misplaced, in my hair. I stick them up there so I don't have to set them down or they don't roll away then forget about them till either someone informs me or I take my hair down/put my hood up on my jacket.

2)I love that smell of just blown out candles, I always smile at the smell before I even start to associate it with birthdays and linking icing off those cheap wax sticks that pass as candles.

3)I'm terrible at lying, occasionally I'm able to bluff enough to make a joke but I'm a horrible liar when it comes down to it. Thats not including the fact that my conscience beats the shit outta me when I do try it.

4)Less than 1/10th of my threats aren't completely hollow and even less have I followed through on.

5) I'm a very disorganized person in general but when it comes to my files on my computer, they're all categorized and labeled. I also correct misplaced items on store shelves, most often things like paints at a craft store, it drives me batty when someone puts one back in the wrong place.

6) I'm double-jointed but it causes more pain than anything else, so not worth it x.x

7) I LOVE tattoos, not all of them but they can be really beautiful artwork, something about it being on you forever and they way it moves is just so cool. The only reason I dont have any yet is I'm afraid I might somehow outgrow the things I love and regret anything I get so I'm waiting till I'm say 23 or something and still obsessed with Gryphons Werewolves Dragons and Crows.

8) I LOVE the number eight, its my lucky number and I'm proud of it. I was born on 5-8-88 and 8:08 am, and I loved 8 before I thought about having 5 of them in my birthdate/time. I always thought it was the prettiest number

SO I've been filling my time with sleeping, art I never seem to finish and RPing with a good friend.

All in all life is driving me crazy because of this whole college deal, I should have started this semester but I totally freaked out having to take my CPT (college Placement Test) so its a no-go. I'll have to wait till the spring semester.

I had my Vocational Rehabilitation meeting on Tuesday (at 8 am, which is WAY before I get up) and I was really nervous since I had been kicked out of the program before because I didnt keep in contact. I was told the woman I was assign was excellent. I don't know what their standards are but if this woman was excellent I dont even want to think about what the average counselor was like.

After an hour of worrying and wishing I was any where but at VR we left and I came home and slept the rest of the day.

The last two weeks haven't been the best, I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infection. I wont mention the symptoms except for KILLER headaches all the time including right now and chronic klutzyness. I wouldnt call myself graceful but by comparison...

I almost wish I could get a job right now so I wouldnt feel so useless but I cant since VR is only funding my college because I dont have a job, after all they are set up to help people get, and keep a job.

Even if no one reads this crap (which I hardly believe anyone would) it feels good to get some of that out.

Have I mentioned that my internet is shit? because not only the wireless going out all the time but not the modem is loosing it every minute to half an hour. so playing WoW is really impossable and instanceing its out of the question completely. I guess thats really a blessing in disguise since thats one less thing to tempt me when I should be working on schoolwork (like now >_<

I know I had more to say than this but I dont recall what it was now. Damnit these new med are supposed to help me too AGH!

He was a rescue rattie, I named him Jack after Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas because the previous owners were fans.

One of the sweetest rats I’ve ever had, Jack would never think of biting a person, though any offending cotton that came near his cage would be ripped to shreds.

He was a standard ear smooth coat light gray rat, with a patch of slightly discolored fur on his forehead. He had a white marking on his belly that looked like a stick figure spread eagle but it was slightly misshapen.

He loved to run around in my jacket and would happily spend the whole day in one of my sleeves if I let him.

I miss him terribly right now, and I can’t believe he's gone. It's not as if he was in bad health or particularly old either.

I looked at him at about 7:45 or so and while he was climbing up the ramp in his cage I noticed he was acting sluggish so I called Bella, our breeder, but she wasn’t home so I just held him in my jacket. I offered him some Velveeta but he didn’t really want it so I let it go.

About 8:30 I decide he wasn’t going any worse so I got our travel cage out and put a little blanket in there with him on top of the bedding, and put a heating pad under the cage so he would be warm.

8:40 I checked on him and he was gone, he hadn’t moved or anything only the life was gone from him eyes.

I can’t think of anything else to say here so I'm just going to go work on a tribute picture of him.

Being between High School and College has made me lazy and I'm still trying to get my whole credits ordeal worked out. all of this freedom has made my laaaaaaazy! I've been playing WoW like crazy, wandering around gaia, and watching Movies with my dad when he's home. Our latest movie series has been the LotR triolgy.
We watched Fellowship and Two Towers last weekend and we're finally getting around the Return on the King. Let me tell ya extended editions make all the difference in the world! let me just say if anyone would like to get me some Elven rope for christmas I would love you forever

I've been having a hard time with my artwork lately, I just cant seem to do anything I like. everything I do I HATE and even working on my old gryphon scultpure wasnt helping, I still have to fix her back legs and make her new front talons since the old ones were UGLY >_<

I got home and finally got together all the things I knew I had to install including the extra 80 GB Hard Drive and my DVD-RW drive I got for my birthday. To say I was really excited was an understatement if only I had known what was ahead x.x

Well the first problem was my new video card refused to install and after much troubleshooting I thought we finally had it working. I went to bed and woke to find my dad very unhappy informing me that he had rebooted and after that my hard drive had failed to respond.
BAD. Why didn't I back up my music, pictures and my documents? I'm stupid that’s why x.x at least I backed up 90% of my art, if I had lost that I would really be in bad shape.

Anyway we continued to try to fix the rest of the issues including formatting the other brand new 80GB hard drive. Three days later and still that new Western Digital isn't booting properly but he now has a 40 working so he's trying to get the Video Card to work and the DVD-RW drive to be recognized. x.x

My original Hard Drive is at my dad’s office and will be looked at Monday morning to see if anything can be recovered off of it. I really really hope so *crosses fingers* and to think all of this started with WoW.

First my monitor went so we ordered a new one, then I bought WoW (I wasn't planning to buy it yet) and knew I needed a video card upgrade to play it. It was the most outdated thing on my desktop and it was only a matter of time.

All of this has left me without a computer with Photoshop CS or a tablet and just in time to open a new shop on Gaia! >_<

as I'm typing this on my mom's computer my dad arrived to tell me the 40GB HD is up and running so I take it back to my room and install CS2 and my tablet HUZZAH!

I have high hopes for tomorrow and the guy at CCCI (my dad's work) that might be able to recover my old drive.

For most people animals are just pets, something to look at, play with, and keep them company, but for me they mean so much more. I was raised around them and my mother is an animal lover in every sense of the word. I‘ve been exposed to creatures of all sizes since I was an infant, and these animals are my family and have helped me through depths of depression where even my family couldn’t reach me. The never criticize, won’t tell lies or spread nasty rumors about you, whether it is a dog, cat, rat, guinea pig, horse, or something else, it doesn’t matter. Animals give us the unconditional love that we all need, and in my case they’ve had (made) a huge impact on my life.

Ever since I was a little kid, my life has involved animals and most of the time it seemed to revolve around them, no matter what kind it was, I gave it my undivided attention. As an early Christmas present when I was 8, I got my first dog and our menagerie has only grown exponentially since. When we moved to Orlando 5 years ago we bought a piece of property with a barn and land and we now have 4 dogs, 7 cats, 4 rats, 1 sugar glider, 3 horses, 2 goats, and numerous chickens and ducks. In addition to the farm animals and domestics, my mother and I do wildlife rescue so we have 7 crows living on our back porch that cannot be released either because of a leg or wing injury or a deformation, not to mention the 3 baby raccoons which we are currently fostering. Raising animals and being raised around them has given me a special connection to them, which is unlike anything else.



My special bond with my pets has helped me in ways I never would have a imagined, when I’m suffering from depression and my medications didn’t help I turned to my animals. Studies have shown that animals can help people to recover for servere trauma, heart attacks, cancer and even help relieve depression, in my case, my horse, dogs, and my rats have all helped me. Poppy, my Paso Fino, as much of a pain in the butt as he is, in times of need I can give me clarity of mind I so desperately need. I just hop on him bareback leaving the dark cloud of my anxiety and depression behind; my whole mind is focused on riding him so I don’t have time to worry or be depressed, he’s my world while I’m on his back.

Sometimes I can’t get to my horse or he won’t let me catch him so I turn to my dogs, they’re always happy to see me, they don’t care where I’ve been, how I’m dressed or who I hang out with, they love me all the same. If I’ve had a horrible day when my alarm clock didn’t go off, I had nothing clean to wear, ending up being late for school, get yelled at my teachers, and get caught in the rain on my way home, my dog is still overjoyed to see me and all my problems and depression melt way. China snuggles up with me in bed; I can cling to them and cry on their shoulder without a worry about her telling her friends, lying to me or thinking of me differently for my actions. My pets give me the unconditional love that every ones needs and gives me the feeling of being needed.

Well I tried to post this on devaintart (my obsession) my the site went done when I posted it and it got lost *sob* so I'm retyping it and pasting it here *nod*

1. I’m left handed.
2. I love guys with long straight hair (specifically dark hair and light eyes).

-First Best Friend: Elise in 3rd grade
-First Imaginary Friend: one and only imaginary anything I ever had was a black wolf, I dont remeber when I first came up with him. Later on he became my most used roleplay character, Lucos.
-First Pet's name: Sarah, my dog. I had fish before her but she was my first real pet.
-First Piercing: Standard ear piercing.
-First Crush: Daniel in Elementery school. First serious one was/is Mike O'Neil in high school
-First CD: Not a clue, I always got hand-me-downs from my dad so it's hard to tell.

The down side is that evertime I eat at Kobe I end up with a stomach ache. This time it was pretty bad since it still hurt this morning so I stayed home from school but it still think the food it worth it since I only get to go on speical occasions like my birthday *shrug*

I'm digging through all my of my old art and sketchbooks to find things to post here since my art block is still keeping me from drawing anything worth posting >_<

I was reading :deHorus-Goddess:'s journal and I think she's right, artist block can be brought on my RL stressors even you dont notice them. In my case I think it's the end of the school year but still have to do summer school jitters. In case you didn't know (how could you? I haven't told anyone) I have to retake the whole year of Eng 3 since my teacher was a bitch and gave me anxiety attacks( and bouts of depression), not to mention my doctor kept switching my meds so I became so apathetic that they told me I was going to fail the whole year and I didn't care at all.

ok done ranting. Nezumi if your reading this, I'm now on Subeta too as Gryphonwolf but I haven't picked a pet yet till I decide what potions I'm after (Dark Matter is my favorite so far)

Sketching/Drawing: refernce sheets for my characters x.x

OCPS (the orange county school system) has banned all decent web sites with (thank god) the exception of DA so I end up spending most of my time on here.
