I've been aware of dA for a while now but just now have decided to get more into it so I can have a place to store my work. So, as a brief intro, I'm an art student majoring in IMD (Interactive Media Design). As my first quarter here I find there is ALOT of work involved. Well, I knew there would be but matte boards, measuring, lack of sleep, and tight deadlines were a passive thought. I'm still getting adjusted and I've learned alot of neat things. I haven't gotten into the real good stuff yet. Since this is my first quarter it is composed mostly of foundation course like Beginning Drawing and Principles of Design. All of that is fine and dandy but my speciality lies in computer based design. I'm pretty familiar with Photoshop but I'm quickly becoming familar with Illustrator, and just after one project dealing with making a vector, I absolutely love it and hope to get even better in the future. Overall, I have high hopes for this quarter and my education at this school overall.
