Spent also a few days at his place afterwards, thus no replies and the likes from me over the last 2 weeks.

Annnnd I bought myself a new flat LCD monitor today, after having used an old, fat one for years... and OMG, it's so big (and, well, flat) *_*;; _{*still has to get used to the 1600x1050 resolution, after having used 1024x768 for the last few years*}

But the "worst" about it is... well, I had already noticed that my old monitor seemed to be a bit darker than other ones - but not THAT much darker o__o
All my artworks looked way darker on it, so on most the effect I had in mind got lost, beacuse it appears a lot brighter on other monitors and my new one now (like, for example, on the "Dreamwalking" [link] one, Walter could barely be seen in the shady background, mostly his forehead and hair)... now this makes me kinda sad.. .__.;
Ah well. Spilled milk. ( ¯ㅅ¯ ) *pouts*

So I suppose my future artworks will be a lot darker. Don't be surprised by it.

I was starting to feel kinda melancholic again lately, and when I came home today _{-completely soaked, because when I went to work this morning the sun was rising to a cloudless sky so I didn't take an umbrella with me - just to find out it was raining cats and dogs on my way home-} I was already prepared for a shitty day - until I noticed a letter adressed to me.

Wrote it down so I won't forget it and put it to the other notes I've made for it before _{(you could say that those mostly loose slips of paper are a big part of my storyboard - the other part is in my head lol. Yeah, I'm working kinda unorganized on it ¦D; )}.
I just looked through them and feel like continuing working on it... but that terrible lack of my own motivation is standing in my way, imitating an art-block and giving me the finger DX The last two submissions here were actually the only spontaneous bursts of motivation I had lately U_U; Ah well. I'll try to draw a new page in the next days, anyway. _{Let's see if it will actually work out *_*;}

I was even thinking of dropping the shading in the pages, since it takes more time than it should for almost not even being noticeable... but then the panels would look even more emtpy than they already do, thanks to my lacking background skills U_U;

The content of the messages is something along the lines of this:

- LOL everyone should see this ... it's HILARIOUS just Click here
- This person wrote something about you in their blog: click here
- Your art has been stolen, click here

Now, as I said, many might have already read about this in other journals.
But what bothers me is the fact the these comments are being posted by normal, and usually trustful dA users/artists.
It might be possible, that after clicking on such a link, the spammers use the dA account as they tend to do with e-mail addresses that get "infected".

So, check out if your passwords may have been hacked, should someone tell you they got a weird comment from you. If that is the case, try changing your password to see if the comments from you stop.
It might help to check your activity stats to see if it shows any comments from you that you don't remember posting.

I already got such a comment from a user, with who I have been communicating through comments and notes for a while, that's what made my wary. It's already flagged as spam and I will contact the user personally.

I have encountered a lot of distrust as well as people saying they made bad experiences with PayPal, when searching for informations on the internet, and that made me somewhat wary...

If you yourself use PayPal, are you satisfied with it? Ever made any bad experiences?
And what about fees? Do you have to pay any when receiving money?

I'm (finally) willing to give commissions a try, but since I live in Europe, traditonal bank transfer would be way too expensive for commissioners who live outside of it. That's why I consider using PayPal, I'm just not really sure if it's safe enough.. :/
So, I would really, really, appreciate any kind of feedback about it...

1) I tend to run/bump into inanimate objects. A lot.

2) I've been mistaken for a guy (mostly on photos) sometimes, especially during my early teen years.

3) People keep randomly telling me I'd remind them of a faerie or elf a lot ô_o. Recently "vampire" was added to the collection ¦D

4) For some weird reason my inner fangirl tends to fall for the "bad guys" >_>; And I tend to favor characters that eventually die in their respective stories ¯∩¯;

5) I suck at traditional media. Hard. And I tend to search for the undo key/button when drawing with something like a pencil or biro >_>; *cough*

6) I have a thing for roleplaying and medieval&fantasy stuff~

7) I'm trying to develop some "talent" in various areas - alas, most of them only half-heartedly, though :/

I will also try continuing on DayMare very soon. I've got the basic ideas for the next few pages already in mind, but after that I guess drawing might take me a bit more time... ~JamesGabriel brought up an interesting idea that made me seriously reconsider the course of a certain plot line in the story.. Well, we'll see.

All in all, I suppose you shouldn't expect anything new from me until next week *_*;

Well, I have to admit, recently I got pretty sucked into the Silent Hill fandom.. and I suppose I will be staying there for quite a while.
Still, recently something reminded me of the fact, that it's been quite a while since I've drawn any Harry Potter fanarts. And I know that a lot of my watchers are probably waiting for more..

So I've been drawing a Snape picture, with which I was even quite satisfied - something very rare lately - and drawing for over 1 1/2 hours, if not even 2, didn't really keep an eye on the time..
So, I was just adding some finishing touches, almost finished, when all of the sudden my browser window was closed...
And of course this one time I've spent a lot of time on a Tegaki picture I forgot to make a safety-screenshot during the process...

And -I admit- I was sitting there and crying out of frustration.
Not only because of the lost work time and art, but also because of my computer.

It's been infected by what seemed like some trojan or other spyware that I couldn't get rid of, so I decided to completely format my harddisk and install Windows anew. But then it went all bonkers again. So I formatted it one more time - and now it's doing it again...

I am at my wits' ends...
And frustrated as hell.

Well, I've been looking at my userpage and realized that it won't be long until I hit quite the page views mark *_*; *is still awed by the amount of it* ;3;~
So I thought I might draw something (most probably Harry Potter related, I guess) as a little 'thank you'. You might think of it as a request/gift art for all those who look at my art

So that's why I'm going to ask you which character(s) you'd like most to see on it.

I'll pick the character(s) that has/have been the most "voted". _{But I probably won't draw anything with more than maximum 3-4 people in it, since it just would take me too much time 8D;}

They're using a gallery script that features a member and registration as well as a commenting function - yet there are no links to the artists' galleries; actually, the artists' names aren't even metioned anywhere, no credits whatsoever.

So, if you have HP fanarts yourself, you might want to check that gallery out and see for yourself if there isn't maybe some of your artwork up without you even knowing about it... You can find it here: [link]

I know there are a lot of other sites out there posting fanarts without most artists knowing about it, but those usually at least give credits and/or link to the artist's gallery...
But this just... plain sucks.

I'm having unusually many ideas, but I just can't seem to get down to draw them D: Since I've started the school/apprenticeship I'm either too tired when I get home, don't have enough time, am generally not in the right mood recently or simply lack the motivation to even pick up my tablet or a pen - which frustrates me the most.
I'm sorry that the promised (DH) art will take some time. But it will come, definately. Still promised! >3<~ _{(Though I think no one even remembered about it ¦D)}

Yeah, so.. just wanted to let you know that it could take some time until there will be any new submission from me. _{Hopefully not all too much.}

Now, back to artworks. Anyone been wondering why there haven't been any new uploads recently? Well, that's because I simply don't have anything to upload. I'm again at a phase, where I can't find the motivation (or even courage) to start drawing something...
I have several ideas for pictures, which look quite good in my mind, but which I'm too scared to try drawing ._.; Everytime I'm about to pick up my tablet pen, I get too afraid that I won't get the poses or the background right, that it might be too complicated... or that there would be too many person for me to draw, etc etc..

It's not the first time I'm in such a state, so no worries. I'll probably be back to drawing as soon as I find some motivation and manage to jump other those irrational "fears", I just can't tell how long it will take me to do that.
Just wanted to let you know where I'm at, in case anyone has been wondering :3

(Oh, and I was giggling so hard when I saw Voldy in a suit in the OotP trailer!
Aww, and Snape does the book-slapping-fun again, yay~ x)

I'm back from a weekend-long live action roleplay. x) Thought I might share some impressions with you:

I pwned Theodore Nott.
When my friends _{(all 3 of them Slytherins but still in everyday clothes, except for a Slytherin scarf)} and me arrived at the playing-location late Friday evening, some people were already dressed as students and In-Character, although that day was meant to be Out-Time to get to know each other.
So, we got into the sports hall, were we slept the first 2 nights, and got welcomed by one of those who were in-Chara.
Nott: Hello I'm Theodore Nott, Slytherin. *shakes hands with my friends, then turns to me with outstretched hand*
Me: *shows him the Gryffindor patch on my coat*
Nott: ... *tries to pull his hand back, which gets grabed by me* Are you at least of pure blood? *slightly disgusted tone in the voice* _{(he had that arrogant-air-thing going on really well :0)}
Me: *shakes head with a small smirk and finally lets go of his hand*
Nott: ... *turns to friends again* Maybe you should look for some better company...
Me: He's right. *gets a surprised look from Nott* Let's go. *Moves them away from him, effectively letting him back with a dumbfound expression*

He asked me again if I was of pure blood the next morning, and when I denied again, he was like "What a waste..."
In the evening, after the ball for the Trimagic Tournament, he even apologied for his behavior towards me with a handkiss - yes, In-Time :0 (and told me - several times during the weekend - that I(/my eyes) look "enchanting" - In- and Out-Time.... once even, while his girlfriend was right next to him ô_o.. what a weirdo.. [but a really good roleplayer, I have to say])

I pwned Pansy Parkinson in Charms, hexing her a few times infront of McGonagall's eyes and with her permission, while Pansy couldn't hex me back. _{(The advantage of being in a year with an uneven number of students and the lack of a learning/"dueling" partner, heh. *smirks*)}

...I scared Snape away. (*cough* pwned. *check*)
I was in the bathroom, brushing my teeth, when I saw a Snape player standing in the door and finishing to powder her _{(it was a female player)} face. She was just about to enter the bathroom, and I wanted to say "Aha! Snape uses make up!", but it came out like "Schnemmfskjd" and a giggle, when I nearly spit out all the tooth paste I forgot I had in my mouth...
Snape got an "O..kaaaay..."-look and slowly walked backwards out of the door again and left XD;;

That Snape player didn't only look good (in a Snape-ish way), but was also so convincing In-Time, that she managed to get some players crying with her scolding - Out-Time...
I sometimes even heard comments like "That woman scares me.." among some of the other players in Out-Time... And when she glared at the students during the play or stormed into a room, the whole room went totally quiet, just like it would be with the real thing.. (and you heard gasps and "Uh-oh"s every time something pissed her off )
...... As you can probably imagine, that particular Snape player has a new fangirl now 8D *waves a flag*
(Ahhh, you should have seen her running around in full Snape attire plus Quidditch-cap, cigarette between the lips and a goofy grin on her face )

_{~popkin16, remember that dream I told you about with the professional roleplay and the great female Snape? Well, I guess it kinda got real... It was a bit eerie when I realized that and remembered the dream during the weekend *_*; This Snape was - like the one in my dream - totally in charakter as Snape but quite nice and funny as her Out-Time-self... Weird, eh?}

I've been tagged by the "6 Things" journal game by ~IdrilAncalimon. Here are 6 weird habits/things/hates about myself:

1) Before I started drawing around 1999/2000, I only coloured pictures in colouring books. ...Yes, seriously.

2) I find cigarettes - and their stench - disgusting. Yes, disgusting. I can't hold them for a moment if someone who smokes needs their hands freed and I'm seriously creeped out by ashtrays... *shudders* (and come on, who doesn't dislike the stench in your clothes and hair after a visit in a pub or something..)

3) I have a fetish for dark and deep male voices *shifty eyes* Let me hear Alexander Veljanov (Deine Lakaien) sing or Alan Rickman speak and I'm melting away..
I have a thing for voices/voice actors in general, I'm fairly good in recognizing them, even in different tones/interpretations.

4) I have never kissed anyone in my entire life (yet) *shifty eyes* (apart from the rare peck on the cheek, that is) - Not that it stopped some people from trying >_> lol

5) I have quite a light voice; on the phone people often think I'm only around 12 years old *cough* (hey, I don't think it's that bad!)

And a lot of people are fascinated by my eyes - no idea why. I even got asked from total strangers on the street if I'd be wearing contacts, "because the color is cool"... ô_ö _{(oh yeah, one of my former classmates dubbed them "dead" 8D She approached me once during lunch time and seriously said "You have dead eyes." I was like, "Huh? *blinks*" - "They're way too light, that's not normal. They're dead."
...Creepy, eh? [let's not even start talking about the nickname my class gave me.. *cough*Miss IceColdGlance*cough*]
Oh, yeah, and some people tend to be creeped out by how I look lol.. One of my former classmates at vocational school always looked uncertainly at me and asked if she'd done or said something wrong.. when I asked her why she was asking, she answered "Because you're glaring so angrily/evily..." I was again like, "Huh? What are you talking about, I'm looking like I always do!" - "No you don't, you're glaring!" Then after a few minutes, when I was forgetting about it again she suddenly went like "There! See, you're doing it again! Stop it!" XD;
..You won't guess how often I've heard the phrase "Don't look so angrily/evily" in my life *sigh*}

6) I keep a dream diary.

...woah, that was much more babbling than I originally intended to write 8D;
I'm jumping over the rules and not tagging anyone in particular, because I don't want to make anyone feel obligated to do so if they don't want to.
