1) I am too obsessed with Phoenix/Maya (from Phoenix Wright;Ace Attorney)
2) The DS is my favourite game platform...but mine is kind of broken (though it still works) which is tragic for me ;A; all i wish is to have a playing session with a whole, pristine, shiny, beautiful DS...*waxes poetic on the merits of the DS Lite* I neeeeeed one T_T
3) I started Zelda - Ocarina of Time the other day (on an emulator). I cannot. stop. playing. Goodbye, homework for the next few months
4) I have so much trouble concentrating on anime...whenever I watch I feel like I'm wasting time o_o (which makes no sense coming from someone who plays videogames all the time..)
5) I have two KH 2 Action figures (Axel and Roxas) and am angling for Sora and Kairi simply to complete the collection. Even though Kairi doesn't even have a weapon or anything cool like that.
6) Everything I've written so far has been related to video games
7) I'm currently planning a novel - I reckon the idea has potential
8) I find myself to be attracted to gothic lolita style clothing (courtesy of the Lapin Angelique brand in TWEWY). It's so pretty Not that I'd ever be able to wear any without looking like a complete idiot.

Anyway...today I finally finished Vampire Knight Guilty (after months of procrastinating)and I hated the ending. HATED. Argh. I HATE KURAN KANAME. HATE. HAAAAAATE *gnashes teeth* I can't quite define why, and it's not entirely because I prefer Yuuki/Zero to Yuuki/Kaname (I'm not a Die For Our Ship sort of person)...argh. *pulls hair out* Yuuki/Kaname is just...wrong. Plus Zero doesn't get a proper ending. Yuuki and Kaname wander off into the sunset, Kaien returns to Doofus Mode and it just ENDS which is so frustrating because I hate Kaname and I wanted to see Yuuki reject him and kill him or something before the series ended(lol ) I'm just so dissatisfied with it. Argh.
(I sure said 'argh' a lot of times, didn't I?)

Anyway...go play Ocarina of Time, people. It's really, really goood - I feel like I'm actually in Hyrule when I play.

*skids into room* "HONEY, I'M HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOME!" <--I've just been away for about two and a half weeks *because it hasn't been exactly three weeks if you think about it* Alas, not many photos were taken of the holiday (i think) but I may post some later.
But anyway, I'm back! with hundreds of deviations and journals and messages to sort through! But never fear, I shall reply and comment etc one day.

Lately, I've been getting the Tetris Effect with that fantastic game 'The World Ends with You'. Whenever I close my eyes I keep getting images of the battle system. People, this is why you do not play a single game all day only stopping for eats and the obligatory afternoon walk. TWEWY is a very difficult game, because you have to fight on both screens of the DS at once and even just one screen is hard enough to keep under control. These holidays I've turned off Auto-Play (which makes the computer control your partner -who is on the top screen- and lets you concentrate on the touch screen which has the main character) and turned to Manual. That means I have full control of both characters on both screens. Which is difficult but I've finally mastered it! I'm actually good at this game! I'm not good at many games, I can't even play Kingdom Hearts II very well, kept losing on Beginner mode and falling off platforms and generally failing despite its fun factor, but I can actually play TWEWY! Goes to show that playing all day and actually liking the battle system (I can't get enough of it) does makes you good at stuff. I should have learned this from my brother's exploits. He thinks that Sephiroth of KH2 is easy. Sephiroth can kill you in two hits, on Beginner mode. -_-"

And my brother downloaded the American release of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days on Craig's computer in NSW, which got him in trouble, but it is so mega AWESOME BECAUSE I CAN ACTUALLY PLAY IT! NEW KINGDOM HEARTS! ROXAS AS MAIN CHARACTER FOR ENTIRE GAME! THE ENTIRE ORGANISATION IS ON. YOUR. SIDE. And it adds that extra tragicness to KH2 because you know that Roxas is going to forget all about Axel and get absorbed by Sora, and we're actually seeing their friendship evolve through this game! And we know that one day Roxas, in Sora, is going to kill everyone in the Organisation, who aren't actually bad people. Most of them anyway. These people are talking to him, helping him, giving him items...it's tragic. And Roxas is just so different from Sora, how could they be the same person at all? *rants* He has to get erased from existence (basically), nothing he's ever done counts for anything, because he wasn't supposed to exist? It's not as though he's living through Sora, he's trapped inside the guy. They're separate people - Sora has none of Roxas's memories and memories are a big part of what define a person.

*video game rant over* anyway, hi guys, i'm back, expect more activity School starts on Tuesday, not looking forward to it because of the appalling mark I know I got in Geography, which I shall now have to receive. Sisterjatt out.

I've just been wondering lately, what is my style of art/drawing/colouring? I think the way i draw is sorta sketchy, gestural and messy, not all neat - more lines than shading - and i use it for colouring birds and sketching.
However, lately i've realised that i'm using other peoples styles for my colouring work -_- which is annoying. Especially in that i can't use my original style/method for colouring well. For example, my drawing'Wounded Predator' only works in that style. Try to imagine it any other way
so..yeah.

Rules;
• The character can be yours or a friends. Please make sure that you credit any original character that isn’t yours.
• If you would like to make an exception and use a character from a movie/book/anime etcetera, please let one of the judges know and we can see if its possible. You are quite welcome to do this as long as you tell us what character you are planning to use. If you pick a character that isn’t from a fandom one of us knows of, we can't judge it effectively. That’s the only reason this is less easy than picking an original character.
• Can be any medium.
• Doesn’t need to be colour…but colour pieces would be nice. 
• Nothing overly confronting - PG rated max. Blood is fine.
• Must have a link to the original deviation of that character (for credit reasons. If you’re using a commercial character there is no need to do this )
• No literature is permitted. (ahh I've always wanted to say "permitted"; in an official sounding way! My dream has come true!)

Victoria is a state of Australia...i live in the capital, Melbourne. The city is pretty much the only place in the state which hasn't been razed to the ground by the Black Friday/Saturday bushfires.

Some are still burning...and the ones that have been defeated by the firefighters have devastated pretty much all of the countryside. I've had cousins stay over at our place while their their dad fought away the fire threatening to burn down their house in the mountains. Kevin Rudd, the prime minister himself, has actually noticed what's been happening. if you live in Australia you'll know about the national Day of Mourning for those who've died (such as the next door neighbour of said cousins) and those whose lives have been ruined by the blaze. some disgusting people actually LIT some fires before demanding compensation for their burned property from their insurance company.

i feel so guilty that i can just sit here and complain about the maths test tomorrow, how annoying my brother is, our house is so small...really really petty things. and others all round the state are reeling from the damage the fires have done to their lives.

All i can do is donate the last few $2 coins in the spare change box. Not even mine, i haven't even earned them. i feel like there's nothing i can do but bite my lip and stare at the TV as it tells of our ravaged state.

So what...life goes on. Not for them, though; not for the people who lost their lives, their property, their friends and family.

How..how dare they!! They've gone and BLOCKED deviantART on the school computers! I can't believe they did that! DA is what i sneak onto during class, without fail..my only release from 50 minutes of 'unprofitable boredom' (in the words of Fred and George Weasley). Call me lazy...i still manage to get good marks in all my assignments though. WAAAHH~ what am i to do...
yeah yeah it's probably a GOOD thing that i won't be able to spend half the lesson replying to comments and looking at art when i should be identifying the independent and dependent variables and constructing a hypothesis for a Science prac. but still.......

ARGH i had nearly finished writing this journal when i accidentally clicked on a link and now i have to type it all again..anyway...
My art block is GONE!! GONE GONE GONE!! *draws* thank the pencils lol
and..Doctor Who is GONE...GONE! GONE!!!!! NUUUUUUUUUUU...
AND NOT COMING BACK UNTIL 2010!! NO SERIES FIVE UNTIL BLOODY 2-0-1-0!!! I will KILL the BBC for this... i'm going to have to survive on a diet of box sets for a year... It also really bugs me how no one likes Martha Jones...she is my favourite companion of the Doctor so far, and it seems to me that she's much more likeable than the general favourite Rose, but everyone hates her!! Apparently Rose can do no wrong *growls* it drives me mad..
I'm up to Part II of my Kingdom Hearts fanfiction Fallen Hearts, but it'll be a long long long time until any of it is posted on dA.I think the plot is going well, but urg i cannot keep the characters in character! It is SO HARD!! Seriously, Riku is like "Whaaa...?" all the time, Sora is a cackling psychopath, Kairi is his devoted fangirl, Namine is a crybaby, Roxas is a robot and Axel...I just can't write Axel. Someone help me with him... lol. Perhaps ~Fox-Whisky may be able to help, as she knows his character very well *so help me Fox!*
The holidays..are ENDING... No more sleeping in..no more freedom...just work, work and work... I know, I know... YOU have more work...but even so!! lol

I figured that was okay, until i lost my brand new pencil case. () This pencil case contained 1) all my pencils () and 2)MY USB. That USB contained all my writing that i had ever done, and when the pencilcase didn't turn up i was forced to salvage a copy from the wonderful ~Fox-Whisky
It was ancient, so i actually haven't worked on it for yonks, not wanting to face up to the tremendous challnge of actually continuing the thing. You don't know how hard it is to rewrite something that you've lost (NO OFFENSE IF YOU DO KNOW ); you get this block, your brain keeps trying to remember EXACTLY what you had previously written and you can't write anything in the end because you cant remember.
But now, i think i've managed to get it working again. Support please.

It's about 5 degrees C. Freezing rain is pelting down hard. You're in the thick of it, dressed only in a short skirt and thin T shirt, calling desperately for a ball to be thrown to you that you really don't want to touch at all, seeing that it's sodden and cold as ice. Your hands are bright red, completely numb and hurting like mad, and you can't even straighten them in order to catch the damn ball. You are dripping wet and can't think straight, and your movements are slurred with cold.

Unpleasant? I think so. None of that was exaggerated in any way, you have just read the complete and utter and horrible truth. This is what Snow-Larka and I endured on Saturday.
Therefore, until further notice we are of the species Bestia Frigidus, or Ice Beast. We seek out coffee mugs and warm hands to clutch with hungry eyes! BEWARE, we will suck the warmth from your body!!
...And we weren't even allowed to put on a jacket.

Damn netball people.
We should have forfeited, we lost 17-1 or something anyway.
It's going to take me a while to defrost; i seem to have acquired the curiuos habit of standing over heaters until my face is bright red.

And they HURT. Half the class was in tears and one girl had a rare side effect and got really upset. And Then i was taking books out of my locker and one slid off the top and hit her on the head and she had to go to the health centre...now i feel really guilty.*sighs* At least the actual injection didnt hurt as much as last time...because last time, i forgot to tell them that im left handed, and they injected my left arm and i couldnt write for a whole day. and straight after i had latin and my latin teacher is really strict...Latin teacher est ignavus Anyway this time i REMEMBERED that i was left handed...hallelujah...and it didn't hurt so much. But after the injection happened, the aching made me feel horrible...and we had sport last two periods. At least it was netball, which i like.
I got a high mark in my chinese test XD 97%!!!!!! AND, in Kingdom Hearts II, i beat Saix and Xemnas part 1!! They're both cinch, but i still feel happy for just about having completed the game...can't wait to see final cutscene! *slavers*
I'm planning on writing a Kingdom Hearts fanfiction, where Sora is dark. Not like parallel, just turned dark by jealousy...Riku will be the main character and Roxas will be Sora's Metaphoric sephiroth, except not his darkness but his light. We have chooks. They are REALLY cute, they wander round the garden clucking and bending down and scratching the dirt...
Anyway, recently they haven't been laying.
I was just going to give them some seed when i spotted about ten eggs in a little nest under some ferns.
So now we know where the eggs went.
I still don't like Mudkip.
