Blah. I have no clue why I am posting this. I think it's just one of those things, I guess, or something. Oh well.

I have three cats now, Zombie, Damon, and Herbert. Zombie cleans his paws a lot. Like me. Which makes me laugh.

And my scanner doesn't seem to want to work with my laptop, which sucks ass. And I don't have photoshop on my lap anymore, which sucks even more ass.

Nothing all that interesting has been happening in my life. I started to work on my writing again. Art wise, the muse in charge of that department has not only left me--it lit iself on fire, threw its flaming body down a flight of stairs, and , to top it all off, ran out in front of an oncoming bus. Sufice it to say, I haven't been able to draw lately. Well, at least I have my health.

Well, I rarely use this journal to write about my private life. I have a livejournal that I use for that type of stuff. Yet, since there's quite a few people here that are not on my lj friend, I thought I should post this here.

May 7th my baby brother Matthias Alberto Garcia Ball was born fifteen weeks premature. Today, October 27th, he passed away due to lung failure. He was five months and twenty days old when he died. He was a bright, happy little baby with large brown eyes and chubby cheeks. All of his short life was spent in the NICU at Maine Med, where they did their best to care for him. In the end, though, their best just wasn't enough.

To put what happened in simple terms: he out-grew his lungs. They were too underveloped and damaged to keep pace with the rate of growth the rest of his body was going at. They tried everything they could to keep him alive. Sadly, things just didn't work out.

His funeral is going to be on Monday. He's with God now. So yeah.

Well, at the end of the week, I'm going to start looking for a new job. I left my last one after a disagreement with the managerial staff. Managerial, did I spell that right? I'm too lazy to check right now.

I'm going to use this free time to do some art or something. I haven't been drawing as much as I've wanted to lately. Or doing any writing for that matter. Jebus, there's a lot I want to catch up on.

Oh oh! And if any of you are going to pick up a CD this week, I highly recommend Hot Fuss by The Killers. My favorite track is the one I have listed for my current song.

I listened to this CD during a car trip from Boston to Maine, and boy, did it ever make me feel like singing along. Too bad my voice can kill small animals with a single note. I just find so many of the tracks to be that darn catchy.

Also, during my newly found free time, I've aqquired a copy of the The Boondock Saints. This has to be one of the coolest movies ever made. Willem Defoe is such a treat to watch. I just don't want to see him drag ever again. He makes one ugly woman...

I don't have a job anymore. Thing is, I really don't feel bad about it. Pretty much this is what happened: I spoke out against an employee who was doing something wrong and the manager that was letting it happen. So, that manager and two of the other managers ganged up on me, expecting to knock me about and make me cry for talking back. They did make me cry. They pretty much threatened me with termination. Then they started going on how they are forgiving and easy going. Sooooo....I told them that they were full of bullshit and left. So yeah. I'm gonesville.
