Does that sound right?<br /><br />Ok. I started 2011 being employed six months after a year of unemployment. And this continued until November, however, I did secure another job that I will start in a week.<br /><br />I returned to school to learn some skills in business get more of how the business of comics work, and other reasons. Now I am behind and I have to get the book at the bookstore...:|<br /><br />When I first started going back to school, I felt kind of embarrassed. I felt so old but then I started seeing people my age attending classes. Many of them were from the military, but I still felt like I haven't done much but work in retail and make some small strides in indie comics. We were out of power for 9 hours. Power came back, no cable or phone. Whole side of town, pitch black. Was really bad. No places to eat, businesses weren't open. Saw people at Subway and McDonald's trying to shuffle food into their cars.<br /><br />We passed the time playing UNO, watching movies, reading, listening to the radio, and I colored and played a few video games. Playing the race card against the person of the SAME RACE AS YOU is offensive to me. This happened to me several times and I am very annoyed at the fact someone would sink this low for a 10% discount. These are customers who don't really care and would sell their souls to save 10 bucks. I am not allowed to give people any discounts whatsoever because I am not a manager.         <media:text type="html"><![CDATA[ Through a nice person, I got Photoshop CS3 as a nice gift. I never thought I can get a version of Photoshop unless I enrolled back into college full-time.<br /><br />If people don't know, I have been coloring drawings using Adobe Photoshop Elements for the past 2 or 3 years. Elements is a watered down version, which means you can't use flow, modify brushes in a more complex way, blend your layers in a complex way, and most importantly, not convert to CMYK.<br /><br />Becoming a colorist was something I never planned on doing. I just did it to up my chances of being a better artist. Thank you guys for the support. I never imagined I would get this far or evolve t ]]></media:text>
