The 17th I will be here for 6 years. It was just yesterday I was drawing with ballpoint pen fan art. I am glad with all the relationships I am starting to build here.

Hurricane Irene hit us as Tropical Storm Irene. 10 AM, lights went out. We were out of power for 9 hours. Power came back, no cable or phone. Whole side of town, pitch black. Was really bad. Playing the race card is dumb. Playing the race card against the person of the SAME RACE AS YOU is offensive to me. This happened to me several times and I am very annoyed at the fact someone would sink this low for a 10% discount. These are customers who don't really care and would sell their souls to save 10 bucks. I am not allowed to give people any discounts whatsoever because I am not a manager. Boston Comic Con was a blast! I cannot believe I actually got some goals accomplished. I am starting to work on making a lot of colored sequentials for some people in the con and to send to companies. I will work on studying color theory and I will start learning about comics from a business perspective too. This can really happen for me and I cannot wait. Ok. There is no secret that I use a lot of reference material when I draw. You know why? It's because I don't have a grasp of anatomy and in the industry I am persuing, I need to learn how to use anatomy not only correctly but appropriately. So I am getting back into drawing and still trying to honor the commitments I made while coloring. SO. I noticed my drawing pattern has changed. I take breaks, I don't finish, I am not as fast as I used to be. It is expected. If people don't know, I have been coloring drawings using Adobe Photoshop Elements for the past 2 or 3 years. Elements is a watered down version, which means you can't use flow, modify brushes in a more complex way, blend your layers in a complex way, and most importantly, not convert to CMYK.

Becoming a colorist was something I never planned on doing. I just did it to up my chances of being a better artist. Thank you guys for the support.
