Alright! So like most people I'm a bit low on cash flow atm and I have some bills coming in that I need to like, pay, y'know. Man! October is the best! Halloween AND Thanksgiving (if you're Canadian that is)! Two food related holidays in one month ~ what more could anyone ask for? :3 So excited for Pumpkin pie and delicious Turkey dinner <3

I just kinda wanted to get my last journal of my main page - but I am excited about the holidays! I know a couple of you wrote what you're being for Halloween in the comments on my most recent poll, but if you haven't and you're dressing up, what are you dressing up as? I wanna know I'm not sure if I'm going to any party/pub thing yet but I have a couple of idea's in mind just in case haha!

Halloween has always been my favourite holiday Probably because my Mom made all my costumes, never once wore a store bought costume! I feel very lucky to have had a Mom who was/is so talented *nostalgia* <3. Here's one of my favourite costumes from when I was little. I'm the older one with the brown hair, my sister's the blonde making all the ridiculous face lol XD Enjoy! Our costumes totally had to fit over the snowsuits LOL we look so chubby XD

So yea, it’s been more than a year since I last updated this place. Shame on me. But anyways I want to thank those of you who’ve added me to your watch list over the past year and a half, and all the fav’s and comments too. I read them all but didn’t respond to any since some are so very old (my fault) and there wasn’t much to say save thank you’s which seem silly a year later. But I do appreciate them, absolutely!

I really, really, really want to keep this page updated frequently (at least on some decent level). Though I haven't been arting much in the past couple months. I have some works from my extended time away from the internet and I’ll be posting a lot of that over the course of the week hopefully. Apologies for the dump in advance haha.

Holy crap do I need to catch up on like EVERYTHING. I declare August the month “to get shit done“! So much to do right now…I’ll do my best to catch up on here (and lj *shame*) and well everywhere really. Also must find a second job again and or a full time job that pays more than freaking minimum wage like woah. *sigh* And continue on my personal goals for this year!

Did Otakon in August. Unfortunately it was a financial disaster for me, and I didn't even cover half of my costs to attend. Oh well. Regardless of the many jumbles, the convention had upsides. Going with friends was the best, and great food! And now I have like butt-loads of extra prints, I may sell them super cheap from here if people are interested. I'm also considering letting go of some of my original sketches. I'll probably post something later about that.

ANYWAYS. You should check these guys out! They’re amazing artists and the lovely people I got to share a room with (yes all of them haha!) and food and everything else after con/alley hours ~ Thanks guys for making it all worthwhile! <3

Just want to say more arts on the way ~ real soon yo! ;D So ya, other crap happened and good times/bad times it's all good :} Still plan on opening up for commissions again soon in roughly 2 weeks time. But enough babbling, on to what this journal is really all about ~ music!

Holy hell this winter wonderland weather we've been getting is making Midna a walking purring mess of static shocks D: I cannot touch her with out getting a shock! Uh, Midna is my sister's and my cat btw ~ she's freaking cute for a cat *is a dog person* My sister was nice enough to let me name her. Of course it had to be a name after a video game character LOL! She didn't know what she was getting into when she let me name her >:} But she actually kind of resembles Imp Midna, colours and marking wise, her eyes are even a yellowish brown!

~~~~GOOD NEWS~~~~
Anyways in other news, got a new manager at work who's awesome, fun and really fair with everyone. She knows I need the money and has given me my regular hours back for the next two weeks which is fantastic, it means I should be able to catch up on my bills and such much more easily which is a huge relief! The commissions I get to do for the lovely and generous and have helped out greatly as well :} Thank you so much ladies!!! I'll have the first one done soon too! On that note I will probably only take one more commission before closing until closer to the end of March. I will be okay until March I do believe. I will open again for commissions soon as I finish up my current list ! Plus I need to finish some of the art I owe people (like Rey, Jonah and Kate ;____; ) and eventually start thinking about convention prints.

~~~~REQUESTS (Sort of)~~~~
So now we come to the requests part - sort of... I'll need to start thinking about con prints. I have a few started but am drawing a blank on ideas for future ones. I know you've all probably seen similar journals/polls from other you watch on DA, but I was hoping you might share some of you cents with me? *puppydogeyesextreme!!!* SO! Is there anything game or manga or anime wise you guys would like to see? Maybe a series or character you don't see enough of? Maybe an older game or anime? (Ya'll know I love the old stuff! Haha) The only thing I will not be doing this year is Kingdom Hearts, I am so freaking tired of this franchise and will not contribute anymore to the massive amount of fanart it already has. To a lesser extent while I read Naruto I'm not super keen on doing much for that. Cept Konan and/or possibly some of the other member of the Akatsuki. Maybe. So yes, that's what I meant when I said 'sort of' I can't guarantee that I will do what you suggest/request. But I'm open to suggestions any thing new to check out and I'm willing to try! So you never know, maybe you'll get what you asked for! ;D

Thank you all so much for all the kinds words and welcome backs! <3 I'm still getting back to all the comments and fav's I've recieved/given out to these past couple of days so bear with me for a little bit as I've been a little distracted and like at work lol

Holy crap I want this game so bad after seeing this <3333333 -----> [link] <----- Windwaker Link and Twilight Princess Ganondorf AND the theme from Dragon Roost Island ~ hells yes!!! So much win 8D And they Twilight Princess-ified Shiek's desgin = way COOL and all my favorites from the last game are back even the Ice Climbers and Mr. Game & Watch *dies of happiness*

Naturally, at the moment I'm behind on my rent and internet bill AND I don't even have a Wii *dies again -of sadness* ;_____; Way lame. And two of my inventory shifts at work for next week were cancelled on top of that today, and trying to find someone willing to give up a couple shifts in another dept has not gone well as of yet. The dream of playing this game in my own home is disappearing before my eyes! D: I used up pretty much all my savings on Christmas gifts and then the rest to get this new computer (which I had desperately needed). So I really have nothing left except this pathetic paycheck I got yesterday which doesn't even cover my rent for the month, let alone my bills and groceries and all that crap. So I'm definately going to be taking commissions now.

Also I'm hoping to be in the Artist Alley at least 2 Conventions this year, so long as I am able to get tables that is :S If all goes to plan they would be Toronto's Anime North and Baltimore's Otakon. So obviously you can probably expect some fanart from me soonish :} I have a few pictures already in progress from a while back. So expect a couple of them (hopefully) over the next couple weeks.

But, I'd like to do a number of other anime and game prints as well. I have a few idea's but I'd LOVE (see; hugely appreciate) to hear what type of thing you guys would like to see from me, or just what you'd like to see in general? Avatar? Bleach? Death Note? ~ These prices are based off characters with normal to complicated designs. If you feel like your characters design is more simple, like they don't have hair or you're looking for a shirtless picture, and you feel it shouldn't cost as much as a regular commission - let me know! I have final say on whether or not I believe it would be less difficult and time consuming, but if I feel it'll take me less time, we can certainly work out a lower price. For example; I wouldn't charge someone $40 for a bust of a bald guy with no shirt, but maybe more like $25-$30. Make sense?

Long time no see watchers >.> if there are any of you left?

First off I must apologize for my super absence and complete disappearance with no notice. That was way bad of me. Long story short over the past year I spent a good portion of it with no internet, and crappy computer and one freaking horrid art block! But I'm back and hopefully for good now Cuz hell I missed you guys! <333 Spent the past couple days sorting out my inbox and message center = holy build up batman, but I defeated it.

Secondly, I want to give a HUGE thanks to all those who favorited, commented and watched my work here during my absense, you have no idea how much it means! <3333

So what's new with me? Not much. Still working lots, Or was working lots, since my hours were pretty much cut in half about a week or two ago *paycheck so crappy now! ;____;* But the good part is that I have lots of free time now and that I'm starting to draw almost on a daily basis again so I'm super thrilled since that means lots of ideas finally get to become something more than just ideas in my head! I actually managed to save up enough for a new computer, which I got last week, and thankfully, since my old one actually went kaput like 6 hours ago as I was copying the last files over to my portable harddrive. Widesceen flat panel monitor is LOVE. Vista le crap though. Now I just need to get my rent and phone/internet bills for jan/feb in order and I can maybe buy a Wii before Smash Bros Brawl comes out in March, because I want this game like madcore >.< Anyhow expect arts to be coming in over the next couple of days, lots of line art, some coloured, but mostly character sheets, if I clean them up enough ;D

Anywho, depending on what exactly I get done I might be opening up commissions in a month, might be more than that though, like I said it depends on what I get done haha. :]

(Way to go ~perishing-twinkie!) So much fun X3 And I was able to take quite a few commissions too, with the exception of Sunday which I was feeling sooo sick I ended up turning them all down. Everyone seemed really happy with there's which was a relief Didn't really get a chance to walk around or hit up the Dealer's Room but it's probably for the best since I can't afford to be spending money :] And when it was all finished a bunch of us went to see X-Men 3: the Last Stand = so bad seriously. I don't even want to get started, but I still recommend you see it, it's one of those movies you should see.

Edit: I've moved a bunch of stuff to scraps and will probably be moving a bit more tonight before deleting some of the stuff in my scraps. Also hope to have a decent sized sketch dump by the end of next week ~ just waiting on a couple of things ;}

1. My eye's were super blue when I was little but they've grown less blue since and more blue-green. And they like to almost change colour depending on if I'm wearing green or blue.
2. I have a huge weakness for all things cotton or just plain soft :3
3. I may talk about how much I like Star Wars, but I actually like Dune (the mini-series and the books) like ten times more
4. I have rather tiny feet, about a size 6 womens and I love it, cuz it means I can always find shoes in my size
5. I have a bunch of screws in my head from jaw surgery I had when I was 16 years old
6. My first RPG was Legend of Dragoon and whenever I hear the Playstation 1 noise I think of that game, which is still one of my favorite games

Went to see Goblet of Fire last night with and It was good Lots that I liked about it, as well as a bunch of things I didn't. I was pretty good though, seeing as it's a really long book they did a pretty good job fitting it into 2 and a half hour movie. I won't say aything else though, since a lot of people probably have't seen it yet

Probably won't have anything to update for at least a week or so, lot's of school work, too much school work. I just want it to be Christmas break sooner :\ I also really want to do some Dune fanart

Anyways, I have sketches, which I'll see if I can find a scanner so I can post them. But not much else, since I'm actually trying this year at school and therefore am there for a decent amout of my spare time (though for the most part I'm not working all that much >.> ) Lots more homework this year too, especially layout and painting and animation. I've also made it a goal of mine to go to lots of extra life drawing this year to since I suck ass at it. And as of yesterday it appears the teacher likes to post our life drawings with the marks up in decending marks order on the wall >:{ I must say I was mighty depressed. For the most part t'was a shitty day.

In any case the point of this was I won't be posting too many finished, like cg or coloured works since I'm focusing on school a lot more right now. Also my computer can't handle Photoshop and until I can find a tech at the school to tell me why I can't seem to log into the computers there I won't be using it at the school either.

I had a few minutes the other day to post that pic in my scraps but I've otherwords not had internet access. Though it looks as though we'll be getting internet in the next day or so! It's been far too long lol and we're running out of dvd's to watch and video games XD

In other news, I just started 2nd year, and it's totally awesome! XD My teachers rock this year And living without parents around is so freaking worth my being broke as hell right now Also, it's my Birthday this week I'm turning 19 on the 15th, which I can't wait for! I loooove your arts!!11" comments -_- I totally didn't deserve AotD, everything there's so old, and is sooo not good. Though I thought it was pretty funny, even better when I recieved an e-mail, sent via my Elfwood page, that read something like this

"My good friend [so-and-so] strongly disliked your work. She felt it was dry and lacked emotional depth. We will continue to write until your drawings are burned in the hottest fires of this world which we call, Middle Earth..."

I really liked all the characters, and at the risk of sounding like a crazy fangirl Howl was pretty damn good looking for an animated character And the little kid (I don't know how to spell his name >.< and am not even going to try) had the cutest hair ever! X3 The castle itself was very cool looking in motion too I want to see it again It's a very, very beautiful movie I recommend it to everyone!

I also recently rented A Tale of Two Sisters and I thought it was really good, midly scary, well only one part :\ Pretty good as far as horror/scary movies go, but I was totally lost at the end, I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen it?

I'm looking forward to the new Harry Potter book as well I have no idea when it comes out I just know it's soon right? O.o

I'm having issue's with my drawings lately, there not coming out the way I want them too Y.Y Still drawing lots and lots though! Bad day at work today, hate that place so much. Buh - I had the wrong shirt today, it was hot as hell, busy, stupid customers everywhere! And had to walk there today and I have the biggest booboo on the back of my heel *sadness* and I forgot my debit card and only had a five, so I had to buy band-aid's, and with a lunch the only one's I could afford were the kids kind. So now I sport some wicked Batman Band-aid's, which I don't mind actually XD

I'm trying not to spend money on new video games, since I'm saving for next year and whatnot, so I'm replaying mine again. I hate that you have to go through all the tutorials in most games when you play it again, I wish more had a skip option. So I'm playing FFX again, I really want to do some art for it...expect some of that in the future maybe

Well, I've spent a fair portion of my day looking through the over a hundred and fifty deviantions and messages...which it so much easier now that we've downloaded Windows XP as opposed to our old version of *shudder* Windows 98. Yeah - so I guess that's why our computer was so extremely shitty - who knew?

This is where I'm going to start bitching and ranting so if you don't want to read it...stop reading it now! Well, let's just say I'm never leaving an entire digital animation til the night before it's due e-v-e-r again. I think I was literally staring at that computer sceen for like 12 hours Went to the Mandrin for the first time on Friday, even though I should have been sleeping. It was good except for the sweet and sour pork or whatever - which was kind of chewy. Also these past few days our car's engine died...so we need a new car. Suckily for me - I have my G2 in a little more than a week and have no car to take it in T.T ...(I might end up using yours if you're still down with it Mandie???) Also my internet, slash shit-ass pile-of-crap computer isn't working well, regardless of the fact we've completely re-booted it for the third time time weekend. Grr. And oh my fuckin' god I HATE CHRISTMAS MUSIC!!! It's the same like 6 songs over and over again for a 6 hour shift - I literally wanted to rip my ears of and bury them - and I work five days this week. And the customers suck sooo much this time of year...working is not cool and I want to quit. And I would is I wasn't planning to move out of this hell hole next year, man I want a drink. Umm, yeah - I've done absolutely no Christmas shopping - and I have no money to shop with until Thursday...soooo, I'm totally screwed. But yeah, I hope to update something sometime later this week...so if I don't see of talk to some of you before Christmas - Merry Christmas!
