Aaaaanyways, yesterday's journal was just me letting y'all know that I'm still alive. I'm still alive. Whee.

Well, it's been a while, everyone. Actually, almost four months. That's insane. But, I have been really busy. Quite the summer, I gotta tell you.

Okay, so firstly, I worked my ass off. I became a full time worker, and it killed me. xD Okay, the pay was amazing, but geez. That took up, like, 50% of my summer.

The other 50% was devoted to me going to Winnipeg and Penticton. Man, was that ever fun. I got over my fear of flying, too. Went to my first dance club in Winnipeg. That was bestest times. Hah. Other than that, I bummed around the house, playing on my DS, or reading. Yeah.

Now, I've started school again. For those of you who are not aware, I switched out of music. It...wasn't for me. I'm in the BCom program. (Bachelor of Commerence). I'm hoping to get into Accounting Honours, but you need a GPA of 3.7 with at least 30 credits...so, it's going to be one busy year.

Yeah. Let me tell you my schedule. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, I have an 8:00am class....Anthropology. Yeah, I know. I'm surprised too. I hate history classes. But...it's really interesting. I love it so far. I have a midterm in it tomorrow, though. Sigh.

Next is Economics at 9:00am. Imagine everything you learned about supply and demand. BAM. 4.0 GPA in Economics. Geez, it's an easy course.

To finish off my MWF is Psychology at 10:00am. OMG PSYCHOLOGY IS AWESOME. I have such a crazy ass teacher. He specializes in sex and violence. What a weird combination. He's very awesome.

Okay. Now, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have English from 9:30am until 11:00am. An hour and a half of English. Not fun, unless you have a completely awesome professor like I do. He makes it quite interesting. I'm trying to get into his class for next semester as well, but I'm not having any lucky. AT. ALL.

Then, I have Calculus from 12:30pm-2:00pm. I absolutely hate the building this class is in. It's confusing (but not Bio Sci confusing) and FREAKING HOT. Ugh. I roast in my classroom. Otherwise, it's an okay course. I'm not too big on math, but eh. I'm doing okay right now.

And that's pretty much it. Well, I have a Math lab on Friday at 1:00pm, but...yeah. It's a really nice class set. I love how I'm finished school nice and early (as opposed to around 6:30ish, like last year). I really hope I can get some good marks to get into the Honours...midterms are coming up. Ahh!

Okayokayokayokay. Time to talk deviantart here. So, like I said in my last journal, I'm trying out a new art style. It's rather...different. I need to work a bit more on it...experiment. Yeah. I'm also dabblin' in some fiction. I mean, FICTION. Not FANFICTION. I'm a little hesitant about putting it up here, though. Stories usually don't get received very well on here, I noticed.

So, what has happened to me in the past two months? Well, remember my loathing of Mother's Day? Well, it's finally past. Geez, it was busy. Also, a week after, the county I live in had a huge fire. I tried to get the pictures of them on my computer, but it wont let me. Damn. They are so cool, especially the one that was taken from my backyard.

Um. I also really hurt my hip. It's been hurting for two months now. The reason? I unno how it happened, but something in my lower back shifted. Um. My spine, that is. How strange.

I can't really think of anything else to tell ya guys. But, I have to get off the computer soon, so..yeah. :<

Aaaanyways, the title of this journal has something to do with Platinum. Well, you know the Team Galactic Boss, Cyrus? Well, I'm such a bit fan of his right now. Heehee. He friggen broke my art boulder! I've been drawing so many pictures of him. I love him so much. I mean, sure, it probably helps that school is out...but, man. I actually have art!

Oh yeah, guess what. I totally won at the Timmies Roll up the Rim to Win. A FREAKIN' DONUT. Yay! I was pretty pleased. I gave it to one of my friends though. lol.

I also went to see Watchmen this week. SO. GOOD. They followed the comic very well. Except for the end. They REALLY changed the end. It was a nice change though, so I wont complain. I saw it twice. Once in regular theatres with my sister, ~Jynx17170 and my dad. Then again in IMAX with my friends. (one of them having an account on here, yo. ~Zedaid) IMAX was way better. They had a laser show in the beginning. That was kick ass, lol.

..why can't I change my mood? AGAIN?! Lame.

Okay, first off...no more chain mail to me, 'kay? It's not actually a virus. It's just chain mail to send around to make us all twitchy. Just...stop. Plz. Four messages is my limit. xD;

Um. What else. Urh. I really can't think of anything. Okay. Let's just talk about random things that happen to me. Um. They have new LRTs? They've been out for a while. And they are beautiful. I always go all squealy whenever I ride in one. It's like riding a rocket ship...or...rocket train, I suppose. Um. Whatever. Haha. That took up some space. Now I'm stuck again. Um. OH. Mid-terms this week. Math 113 is my only one left. I think I should ace it, yo. I've been doing so well in it lately. I love maths. Along with mid-terms is the fact that school is almost over. I can't believe it! It's over in less than two months. Omg. That also means that my jury is coming up. Shudder. At least I found an accompanist early enough this time. Funny enough, it's the same guy who did my audition accompanying. Eerie.

Damn. I don't know what else to say. I'm just in a very type-y mood today. Er. Tonight. Um. Oh, ex-boyfriend update! Most of you guys haven't heard this yet...but he is a massive stalker. He wont leave me alone. He harrasses me CONSTANTLY. Ugh. Sometimes I wish I could beat him up without running the risk of getting kicked out of the university.

Gah. I'm tired. That's probably why my mind isn't coming up with anything. Okay. Random time. I can't seem to win at the "Roll-Up-the-Rim-to-Win" thing at Tim Hortons. And it's not just this year's one...it's constantly like that. xD Timmies don't like me. :C I just came off of Reading Week, which is university's "Spring Break". My sleeping patterns got SO messed up. I would be up until, like, 4 in the morning, and be sleeping until noon most the time. It was quite...um. Bad. It's probably why I am so tired right now. Hurr. Anyways. I really need to go on here more often. I have so much stuff to look through, it's...shocking, really. So, what's been going on with me...well, started off second semester okay and such. Was sick over the weekend (think I ate a rauncy corndog or something...) Got dumped, osnap. Although, I can't really say that I got dumped, even though he was the one that said we were over...long story...that you're going to have to sit through. Muhaha. Anyways, he was just becoming a pain in my side, he was making me feel horrible, he never listened to me, always wanted to hang out with me; and would get pissed off if we didn't, etc. So, on Friday, I said I didn't want to see him that day. Well, he pretty much exploded and broke up with me. Here's the kicker. He didn't actually want to break up with me. So, when I agreed, he got all mopey. And started alternating between calling me crazy, and wanting me back. Man. I got out of that relationship in the nick of time. Yay.

Wow. That's really the only thing that's happened to me. I'm single now. Yay. D:

Oh, and lolnewlayoutwut. That gave me a shock. I like it, though.

Okay. So, I'd like to wish everyone an early Merry Christmas.

My family had our Christmas a bit early, 'cause my dad is working tomorrow. D: I got a pretty nice haul, the new Spyro game (FINALLY), a lot of perfume type stuff, jewelery, these comfy pjs, and a Tims Card AND Starbucks Card. I'm LOADED for coffee. Omg.

Aaaaanyways, I gotta tell you guys the truth. I'm..not going to get that Christmas picture done for tomorrow. Why? Well....

So, I feel like I need to talk n' stuff. Without removing the awesome chirstmas journal.

Uh. So, yeah. I'm on Christmas break right now. Besides exams, I don't have to go into school again until January the 5th! How cool is that?

Aaaaand, I got some art up! Yay! Finally! All of the pictures were for ~blackcatsrule, which was funny. Then again, I really owed her art.

Over here in Alberta, we've been getting weird weather as well. Like, this has to be the product of global warming, or something. First, we didn't get any snowed that stayed until, like, the first week of December. The North Saskatchewan River isn't even frozen yet, and such. Creepiest weather moment ever? Let me bring you back to two nights ago....

Okay. So I was at the kitchen table, studying for my Music Theory Exam. The lights were on in the kitchen, and the blinds were closed. I saw a very faint flash of light coming from between the blinds, but I wasn't sure if I was just seeing things, so I din't say anything to anyone. Suddenly, my sister, ~Jynx17170, comes running upstairs to tell me that see saw lightning outside. My dad saw it too. So, we all look outside. It was snowing like crazy. And the wind was whiping it up and making it look like a snowy tornado. Five seconds later, it stopped. That was a freakin' snowy thunderstorm! Lol, very strange, eh?

Yeah. I think that's everything.

This is the shortest I've ever gotten it. Pixie cute. Omg.

It's so cute! But just so..strange. My head feels lighter without all my hair. But it's sexy, 'cause I get to spike it all up, and such.

I needed a haircut pretty badly anyways. P:

A picture will go up in my scraps section sometime. I'm too lazy to get my camera. Haha. There's a picture up in my scraps section. Go look at it! It's..not that...great. But, go look at it anyways.

So, I had my first University Concert on Sunday. We kicked some major butt. We sounded so amazing! It was such a thrill to play up on stage. I was all like, "Yay!" afterwards. Haha. xD

After that, I got to hang out with some of my friends, then we went to a concert at the Myer Horowitz [the same theatre that "I Study Arts Because..." was in] and saw the New Edmonton Wind Sinfonia...which has my old band teacher, Mr. Krips, in it! I got to see good ol' Kripsy before the concert started, which was AWESOME. The concert was pretty amazing itself. Ha.

That was a good day. Although, I was at the university from 1115 until 2130ish. On a Sunday. SUNDAY. Ugh. By the time I got home, it was sooo late. And I had to get up at 0500 the next morning. Which killed me. I was so irritated today, haha.

I have a piano jury this Wednesday! I'm sooo nervous for it right now. I'm just not feeling too ready for it. Which is probably why I'll be spending most of my day in the practice room tomorrow. Haha....urgh....

So, anyways. After school, I went to this arts conference, called "I Study Arts Because______". [The blank being your reason. Just in case you didn't catch that.] I got a free ticket from my boyfriend, who was playing in the ensemble that was performing.

Yeah. It started off with me getting completely lost trying to find the place. I knew it was in SUB [Studen Union Building] but I didn't know where in said building. I did eventually find it. Then they gave me a free t-shirt! One that says "I Study Arts Because ___________", and we get to fill in the blank with whatever we wanted. I haven't filled mine in yet. I'm trying to think of the perfect thing to say...something that is actually meaningful, but hilarious at the same time. Should be...difficult. Ha.

The Symphonic Wind Ensemble was amazing. They played O Canada, [the crazy version by Howard Cable. For those of you who don't know, Cable LOVES putting in over 9000 key signature changes in his work. This version of O Canada has two. Which is more than any O Canada should have.] Then they played this WONDERFUL song, to which I can't remember the name of it. Which sucks. Finally, they played a song that I played in Summer Band...which I hated. The U of A Fight Song. I actually dislike that song. It's fun to listen to...hard as fuck to play. Haha.

After that, we had a bunch of speakers. They were all fabulous. Amazing. Astounding. I LOVE ADJECTIVES.

One of them was quite...enthusiatic. Like, scary enthusiastic. It was awesome though.

I enjoyed it immensley. And got a free t-shirt out of it. P: It's really cute...a nice colour of blue. : D

OH. And guess what? Fall Term is almost done! I get off of school on December 5th. I have to go in for exams...but that's only for, like, 4 days. So, I get a lot of time off. Yeah-uh, booooiiiiiiii. x3

Aaaanyways. I had a pretty good four-day weekend. I had to work most of Saturday and Sunday...but that's okay, 'cause I made awesome tips.

Monday was a hugely long day for me. I was going into Edmonton to begin with on that day, so I sorta needed a ride in. My sisters decided it would be an excellent day to go to WEM with one friend each. Now, the car we have has limited seating [4 people plus driver]. I decided to be the good sister, and I went in with my mom at 0630. To her work. Actually, I just stayed at Tim Hortons for a loooong time. And rode the LRT to waste time. Haha.

I didn't really have anything better to do until around 1500...so I hung out with my sisters and their friends. Which was really fun. I love WEM. The only sucky thing about that trip was that I had no moola on me. -pout- Well, barely any, at least.

On Tuesday I went to a Rememberance Day ceremony in Redwater. I wanted to go to the one on Campus really badly; it was huge. My clarient teacher was playing at that concert, and the Music Department Executive Assistant sang there too. I wish I saw that! -doomngloom-

It also snowed on Monday night/Tuesday morning. I was shocked to wake up to that. It's all gone though! Didn't even have enough time to make a snowman on campus. [My friends and I really wanted to do that, hurrhurr.] I did get to through a snowball at someone though...so that made me happy to the extreme.

Then it was back to school on Wednesday. Nyyyyaaaaarggggh.

And finals are coming up, you gaiz! I'm all jittery for them. I hope I do alright.

So, yeah. Four day weekend. I'm glad for it. Sooo glad.

Ima update on life right now. First off, I'm coming to the conclusion that I hate Social Studies. Like, hate, hate, hate it. Which is a huge pain in the ass, seeing as my teaching minor is Social Studies. Ugh.

So, I'm planning on changing it. I should be able to. Hopefully. To what? Math, surprisingly.

I'm so strange.

I'm also in some sort of...bitchy mood. I think my time o' the month is coming up. I snap so easily. Like yesterday, when there were a bunch of drunk assholes on the LRT bugging me. [Except I sorta had a migrane from concert band and running into a pole...so...I suppose we could blame it on that. Haha]

Let's see..what else...OH. Semester is almost over! I'm so...happy. I get to start a new semester. Which is gonna be basically the same..except with some new classes. Yay.

Okay, so these past two weeks, I've been leaving the house at around 0600 and not getting back until around 2000. That's 15 hours [I think. xD] outside of my house! Every day! Ugh. So bad.

I rarely have free time for myself. When I'm outside of my house, I'm at school, attending classes, practicing the piano/clarient, doing homework, studying, etc. When I'm at home, I'm usually passed out in bed. Plus, I have my job to attend, and I'm trying to have some sort of a social life.

Plus, I was just raped by about a million and two mid-terms. And I just found out that I still have another one to do this Monday. Yay! More studying. And I have a piano recital on the day after November break. Ugh.

Why am I telling you guys this? I'm just so Goddamn guilty. I feel horrible that I have yet to put up art for people that I owe art to. These pieces should've been up a month ago! Possibly even longer ago. And, I really feel bad that I have been commenting on your art/journals sedomly, if at all. I just rarely have any time to go on the computer. Well, I do, but just for a quick moment. [Except for tonight, but I'm studying also while doing this. And I have to go to bed early tonight. Getting up at 0500 isn't fun.]

So, I'm sorry. Extremely sorry. I will update. When? I can't give a set date. 'Cause I always seem to break that promise.

Okayokay. Let's get me off the whiney mode. What's new...what's new...well. Hallowe'en was a blast for me. I went to a sleepover party at my friend's house. We ate so much sugar [-cough-andithinkidrankabittoomuch-cough-] It was so much fun. I was dressed up as a geisha. :3 How was your guys Hallowe'en?

Also, I got a new cell phone! I love it soo much. It's amazing and sexy. Haha. xD

So, gargh. University is killing my life right now. I barely have time to do anything anymore. Dudes, I barely have time to do my homework. xD

My classes run so late. Well, some of the time. Late being 1830. That may not seem so late, but when you live so friggen far away from the campus, it's damn late. Ugh.

Plus I've been working a lot more. So, on Saturdays and Sundays my time for myself is cut extremely short. Gah.

Why am I telling you this? Well, I'm damn guilty of not updating my DA account. I really need to. Look at this list of stuff I need to get up...

Aaaaanyways, a couple of nights ago, my parents were bragging about their trip to Mexico that's going to be happening next month. Around mine and ~Jynx17170's birthdays! I thought that was totally rude. They were gonna miss my 18th! -gasp-

Well, after much bragging, they said that they bought 5 tickets. Man, did that ever take forever to sink in.

I'm going to Mexico next month! 8D

Yup. From October 10th, to October 18th, I'm totally going to be at a resort in Mexico. I'm so excited!

I get to drink down in Mexico. xD

Yeah, my birthday is on the 13th, if anyone cares to know. ;D It should be fun!

Anyways, it started off with the usual of me freaking out. You can't get past that when it comes to me. That, and the lower joint pads on my clarinet were totally messed up, causing me to squeak a lot during my warm-up session. This caused more freakoutage.

So, my concert band conductor, Wendy, started asking me questions about my music past; that is, schools that I went to, lessons I've taken, theory I know, etc.

Then....

I had to play.

So, I played!

And then...

She told me to stop right in the middle of my audition.

Guess what? I freaked out. Because that's usually never a good sign. But then she starts commenting on how amazing my range is, and how great I'm able to go from the lower notes to the high notes instantaneously. Actually, what she said at first was that I was all over the place, but upon seeing my crestfallen facial expression at those words, she explained her words furthur. xD

Then, she lets me choose which part I wanted to play. Well, she said she would put me wherever, but she'd much rather have me as a principal, the only open position being on 3rd clarinet. I snatched that position up; being a principal 3rd clarinet is better than being a regular 1st clarinet, anyways. And she's most likely gonna move me to 2nd/1st chair next semester.

...I'm so happy. xD

Oh, and I also had my private clarinet lessons on Tuesday. Not gonna lie, my instructor is a cutie. Hurrhurr.

Uh. I feel like giving y'all a breakdown of my week. And...classes. Yeah. So, my first class [at freakin' 8 in the morning. ):] was Aural Skills. Which is actually very fun. Today, we started singin' using the Solfège system [y'know, do-re-mi-fa-sol-la-ti-do]. My teacher is totally awesome, too. And amazing with names. She managed to remember every single one of our names and instruments within an hour of meeting us. That's pretty good.

Next, I had English. Every day, I have to run all the way from the Fine Arts Building to the Business Building in 10 minutes. Across the HUB, basically. And for those of you who know the U of A HUB, I'm pretty sure you'd feel my pain. It's such a long walk/run. Other than that annoying fact, English is also pretty good. My teacher is, again, totally amazingly nice. And funny. We started reading Beowulf today. I rather enjoy it, to tell you the truth.

I had a break after English. Which is nice. Then, after my break, I have the dreaded....Music Theory. Which actually isn't so dreaded as I thought it would be. AGAIN, awesome teacher. I'm beginning to see a pattern here. xD I also feel really smart at the moment in the class, 'cause we're doing review...haha.

Again, another break. In which I have to run off to the P.E. building. Which is far away from the Fine Arts building, actually. I'm practically panting by the time I get to the place. Which most likely means that I'm out of shape. xD But, anyways, I have History at this moment. And this is the one class that I have that has 120 students. 120. That's a lot of people. But, history's fun as well. I'm not gonna say anything about the teacher, 'cause I'm pretty sure you can just guess what I'll say.

And, my day is usually done by that point! Except for on Mondays. I have piano lessons at 1520. I had my first lesson today. The teacher was soooo happy that I knew the notes on the piano; she was getting sick and tired of all these kids who didn't know. xD

There's only two "classes" I haven't had yet. My Applied Music, which is basically a one-on-one type class tutoring you on your instrument. I have my first one tomorrow at 1315. And then a Rep class right after that in the same room. Which is nice, means that I don't have to move my butt for 2 hours. Uh. Wait. That's not nice. My butt's gonna hurt. xD

The other one is concert band. Which is actually the one class that is giving me severe issues. I did an audition for it last Friday. They said that they would give us results soon enough. I didn't recieve anything, so I thought I failed the audition. So, I panicked, and emailed Jill [the executive assistant], asking her what I was supposed to do. Can you guess what happened next?

They didn't have me recorded as doing an audition.

WHAT.

I'm still able to go to the class, but I have to talk with the teacher about this little problem. And most likely do my auditon over again. URGH.

Anyways, sorry 'bout the "tl;dr"-ness of this journal, I just had a lot to say. xD

Really, all it was was an orientation thing for music students at 1400. But, living outside the city, the earliest my bus comes in is 0900. Y'all have heard the sob story.

I..really didn't do much. I did get my very own special key for the practice rooms that they have there...and practiced my audition for a while. Which is this Friday. Ah!

The meeting thing was okay. I got to meet my piano teacher [but my clarinet tutour wasn't there...so I have to go hunt him down to make up lessons times. Grr.] They also had some people doing little bits of music things for us. Like a girl played the piano for us [and she played it so well it hurt my ego. xD], and another lady who sang some oprea! That was a treat, and she was stunning. I was also able to chat with some students that were in there 2nd-4th year. Geez. They're all so freakin' friendly. I love it.

Tomorrow is my first full day of school. I'm gonna get so lost, I tell you. Aaaaaand I have to get up at like, 0500. 'Cause my first class is at 0800. -pout-

It's been really getting cold out as of late. I suppose, seeing as school's coming up, that the weather is going to cheap us out of our last couple of days of summer. Stupid piece of crap. D:<

Speaking of school, I finally was able to get a hold of somebody to figure out what the hell was going on with my application to the U of A. Hopefully I'll be able to find out tomorrow. I'll let you guys know all about it, if you wish.

Ummmm...okay, so...I will actually put up some pictures in the next couple of days. The next couple of days. Please, feel free to virtually smack me if I don't.

Okay...so what's new with me...um. Well, the University of Alberta is starting to piss me off. I finally completed everything that I needed to do to get into the music program last month, what with finishing my Music 100 course [and getting an "A-", by the way. ;D]. I was checking my university account, and it still said that I wasn't done. I had to hand in my transcripts. Transcripts that I handed in waaaaay before the deadline. I mean, I did ask them about it, and they did correct the problem, but because of this mistake, I have to wait longer until I can register for my courses! I only have a couple of weeks left, too. And all the courses I need are pretty much almost full. Gragh...

Oh yeah, guess who has another freakin' audition? Ugh. I thought one was enough, but no. They need another one out of me. At least this time I don't need an accompianist. My God, that took forever for me to get the last time. [For the audition I did in May, I didn't get an accompianist until the day before my audition. Talk about cutting it close.] The audition just asks me to play some piece that shows off the lyrical and technical skills I possess, so I'm just planning on playing some stupid little technical study that sounds...um...lyrical. It's quite pretty, actually. xD But slightly annoying. I hate playing sixteenth notes in 6/8 time...

At the moment, my youngest sister is having a sleepover/birthday party thing. They're being really loud. And...screechy. Which is really giving me a headache. I'm pretty sure I can go to the edge of my town and still hear them. Although, that's not really saying much, seeing as this town is pretty damn small...

Uh. I think that's it for the moment. I can't really remember anything else that's going on. Um. Okay. Well, I'll be uploading more frequently now. And by uploading, I don't mean pictures of moons or birds looking at me like I'm stupid. I mean pictures I actually drew. Yay!

So...I'm finally done my Music 100 classes! [Welll, I have my final exam tomorrow, but that really doesn't count as a class..so..yeah..] Same thing with Summer Band. I'm really happy that my classes are done, but, really, really sad that summer band is over. I had so much fun...

Anyways, these past two weeks have been...uberly busy. Because my dad was in Victoria at the time, and because I can't drive at all, I had to stay at people's houses...a lot. It was quite interesting, but also meant..dare I say it...no internet connection.


Okay...down to business. I have beside me around a million pictures that I have been drawing that I had no time to scan/photoshop/whatever. Some of them are birthday gifts, [really REALLY late birthday gifts...], some of them are just little doodles that I did when I was creative, but most of them are Art Trades/Requests that I haven't finished from, like, February. Holy crap, you guys. You're so paitient. ;3; Or just forgot about it. Either or. xD

With that being said, I will be slowly putting them up over the next while or so. I finally have some time to myself! Haha.

And the mood button is finally fixed. A little bit glitchy on my computer, but fixed nonetheless..

Um. Anyways...I've been at the university the past week. I started my Music 100 course! It's a pretty easy course, and goes from 1200-1415. The only problem is that 'cause I'm outside the city, I have to take buses upon buses to get to the university. The latest bus I can take to get into town is 0730ish. So...I have to be at the university for 4 hours. Ugh. And on Wednesdays, because of the summer band, I have to stay for an additional 5 hours afterwards. It's...maddening. Although, I'm not complaining...summer band is totally worth it. ;D

Wow. This has to be the first Canada Day I've had in a while where it wasn't pouring rain. Then again, all the Canada Days I've had were in Winnipeg, and it was pouring there today. Huh. Oh well. It was still lovely.

Today, I got to go down to the University of Alberta Devonian Botanic Gardens. The summer band that I joined were having an outdoor concert for Canada Day over there. I gotta say, the gardens are gorgeous. But playing outdoors for 2 hours wasn't so hot. Uh, wait, yes. Yes it was hot. Extremely hot.

And because I didn't wear sunscreen, I have some lovely burns on me. They're actually in very random places, and make me look absolutely ridiculous. -sigh- I suppose that's all my fault, though.

Nonetheless, it was fun. I can't wait until our next concert.

Uh...what else is new...well, I'm pretty sure I failed my SS exam, which makes me believe that I'm gonna now have to take courses at the Learning Center we have in town. So, that'll be a bundle of joy. Aaaaand I start my music theory classes in 6 days. Um. And I can't think of anything else.

Oh. Wait. My Kiribian's comin' up really close, you guys. O= I have to think of something to draw for my 10k....any ideas?

Puszta by Jan Van Der Roost is absolutely orgasmic. And yes, I said orgasmic. Deal with it.

Uh...exams are almost done. I have my second one tomorrow [Calculus] and my final one on Thursday [Social Studies.] Fun, fun. D:

Anywaaaaaays, I regret this afternoon. Why? Well, when I walked outside to catch the bus, I looked towards the Edmonton area. The sky was....blaaaack And....ominous. And such. First words in my mind? Ha! Suckers. I'm going far away from that. I hope they get hit. Hard.

Well. They certainly did. And so did the rest of Sturgeon County. Ugh. That freakin' red bar has been on The Weather Network for at least two-three hours now, telling us the same thing over and over again. And basically it's telling us that tornados are srs bsns.

But we all know with school almost being over that exams are coming up. Ew. Exams. At least I only have two to write. Social Studies and Calculus. Yay.

Yeah-uh!

So, my dad calls in to the Faculty of Arts today while I'm at school. And he talks to the executive assistant there. As soon as my dad mentioned my name, she started gushing about how amazing I did during the audition!

But, seeing as I did fail my Theory Placement exam [I got a 61%. I did crap on intervals and triads. Aaaand minor scales, for some odd reason], I have to take Music 100 over the summer break. I was accepted, and I now have a spot in the class.

If I pass Music 100 [which I will; the 39% that I didn't know how to do on the exam will be easy to learn, I'm confident enough], then I will definetly be going into the U of A music program this fall. The executive assistant said that there is a meeting with all adminitration to judge who's going to be accepted into the program at the end of July, but she also said that there is not a chance of me not making it in.

I'm so happy! : D

Like when I went to go get my diploma, I was so shaky. And the fact I was wearing heels didn't help either. Of course, I also overshot the mark that I was supposed to stand at to get my photo taken. They also had a video camera on me, and the footage was being played on a big screen, so, that was embarrassing. Haha.

I was so sad after the ceremony. Especially when my family came up to me. I bawled my eyes out. It was a happy sad, though. Here's one picture that pretty much captured that; a picture of me and my mom in the front lobby of the Winspear: [link] Awwh.

The dinner/dance at the Agricom was...amazing. They did up the place so wonderfully! And the food was OMG. I didn't stay until 1am 'cause I got extremely tired and wanted to go home. That, and I really didn't have a lot of friends graduating with me. -pout-

With that note, I thought I'd let you guys know...I failed my theory placement exam. Hurrhurr. So, I have to take Music 100 at the university this summer to make up for that. I still don't know my audition results, but apparently I did amazing. Yeah-uh.

Oh yeah, grad presents = total win. All of them doing with music. An old-fashioned metronome, a dictionary on everything to do with music, and..

A PIANO. OMG.

Normal kids get cars. I get a piano. Kick. Ass. xD

ANYWAYS. So, on Friday, I had this audition thing to get into the U of A. For the audition, I had to do a theory placement exam, and aural studies placement exam, a technical study, a solo piece, sight-read, and do an interview. Yeesh. That was a stressful day for me. Haha.

I think I did pretty good on both the theory placement exam and aural studies placement exam. They were really easy, I thought. I did also quite well on the solo/technical study/sight-reading! Where did I screw up, kids? The interview. Seriously, I can't talk worth shit. Something makes me think that I wont get in to the university because of that. Uuuuuuurrrgh.

Now, on Saturday, I had to work from 1300-2100. There was some wedding going on, along with the usual dinner and dance thing. It was pretty easy. I was tired when I got home. Today [Sunday], I had to get up at 0600 to be at work for 0800, and didn't get home until 1730, or so. OH. MY. GOD. Was today ever busy. We had, like, 600 people come through! It was for Mother's Day Brunch. Never again, m'dears. Never again. Plus, half way through the brunch, my body decided to be early on it's certain time of the month schedule. So, I had some pretty bad cramping. Ugh. And, my feet hurt. Buuut, something did totally make my day; a little four-year-old girl came up to me really shyly, and said that I was really pretty. Omg. I nearly died. It was so cute.

So here I am now, sitting in my underwear on the computer, being extremely lazy. I'm so awesome.

...okay. So, that wasn't as long as I thought it was going to be. Hunh.

Hurrhurr. We didn't get back into Namao until around 10:30ish. At night. Urrgh. Sarah is tired. D: [Although I really shouldn't complain. Half the people that went on the band trip were on the bus that broke down, and didn't get home until, like, midnight or something.]

But because of the huge snowstorm we had the past couple of days, school was cancelled. Hooray.

I'm feeling so....blargh....right now. Like, I have some stupid virus right now that's making me feel incredibly week. I just got it today. Along with that, my ovaries are KILLING me. Uggggggrhhh. Night of the Living Sarah.

So, I'm basically completley drugged up on Pamprin and Nyquil right now. Yes. Nyquil at 4:00 in the afternoon. Why not? xD Anyways, everything seems all....swooshy. I'm thinking of taking a nap soon.

Okay, so...art. I'm finally getting back into the groove. How? Well, I'm drawing a lot of animals, lately. I drew one of my wolf, Slashy. It looks pretty darn awesome. I'm thinking of photoshoping it, then putting it up. I also have some surprise buttsecksgift art for some random people. Of their fursonas, or whatever. I just really got in the mood of drawing...

Other than that, I'm ready to get back to my ever growing list of requests/art trades that I have to do. Remember, you can still make a request here if you wish for one. Just remember, I still have a lot to get through. xD I still have to draw the first-place prize for the ~TheyMightBeAClub Contest, along with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes for whenever ~thedarkestfaerie's contest ends. So, this week was interesting for me. Like, I finally had the guts to tell my dad that I decided I wasn't going into dental hygeine. It went quite well, actually. He was very impressed that I didn't chicken out and, like, never tell him, or somethin' like that.

On Tuesday I had my band concert, which was fun, for me anyways. I met a whole crapload of people I didn't even know existed in our band. Haha. I also found out that St. Albert has way too many barbershops cramed into one area. And not enough coffee shops that are open past 8 o'clock. D:

Also, I have a new haircut! My old hairstyle went down to my boobs, or somethin'. It's now cropped up to around my chin, and layered. Crappy part about this? My sister, Natasha, did it for me, so the layers are really uneven. But it still looks pretty darn sexy, I believe.

Okayokayokayokay. Time to talk about art. Um. I really haven't...drawn anything in the past couple of days. I have a raging case of.....ARTIST BLOCK. Dun dun dunnn. But I'm doin' my best to get out of that. n_n

Calculus was pretty easy, we had a couple of assignments to do, and that's it. It was fun, almost. [I sorta like math...sorta.]

Band was so much fun, even though I bascially just sat there and listened to people play their parts. xD I'm happy at the fact that I instantly get to play 1st clarinet, even though my band teacher doesn't know my playing skill very well. [Although he knows I'm from Winnipeg, and apparently Winnipeg has a higher standared band program, surprise surprise.]

Social Studies/History was basically the same as Calculus. Just a couple of assignments. Although SS isn't fun. At all. 'Cause I know everything that we are being taught; I looked through the text we were given. Sigh.

I was also a pain in the ass for the office. xD I had to go back there so many times 'cause I had to get my school fee pay sheet, then get a locker, then get an ID card, etc. They were starting to get annoyed, I was absolutely sure.

I guess the school's not that bad after all. It'll just get some time to get used to. It's really big. And loud. Very loud. x[ I'm not used to the extreme loudness of guys swearing at each other and girls squealing over something or other. Stupid girls.

Seriously, I really need to be right at the computer with my dad when he deletes stuff.

So, this all started off with the extra accounts we have on this compter. We never use them anymore, seeing as we really have no need for them.

My dad deletes them.

Big mistake.

He should've moved our folders to his account first, then deleted the accounts.

Now, thanks to him, all of my files are gone. When I mean all my files, I mean every single picture I had, every picture I was working on, all my music, everything.

Merry Christmas to everyone!

It was a wonderful day for me. I got to sit in my bed..all day..and play my DS. Sooo fun.

I'm also pretty happy. I finally got myself a scanner! Hooray! That means I get to put up traditional pictures as well! 'Cause, all I had before was a digital camera, and used that to put pictures up on the computer. Well, they look like crap, so I have to fix them up using Photoshop. And..they end up looking none too traditonal. xD

I also got kick-ass Hello Kitty PJs along with a Hello Kitty stuffie.

AND A 1KG BAR OF CHOCOLATE. xD

Alrightie. To the point. We have, right now, 4 more days until Christmas. Where's my bloody spirit?! I feel like such a Scroge, 'cause I feel so depressed/pissed off, and I'm snapping at everybody. I've been trying everything too, to get in the Christmassy mood, but it wont work.

My reasoning? 'Cause I'm not in school at the moment. I mean, when you're packed in a school full of a bunch of kids all ready for school to be over for the holidays, and thoughts of all of the turkey they'll eat and all the presents they'll open up, you get into quite the mood of...Christmas. xD If that makes sense.

Ah well. I still have four days. Let's see if I can force some spirit in me. D:

Hey y’all.

As you may _{or may notÂ} have noticed, Christmas is just around the corner~! Hooray!

So, I decided that I would make a big Christmas picture.

A big picture of what, you ask?

Well, my friends on dA, of course!

Now, just ‘cause I’m not sure who wants to be in it n’ stuff, I’m gonna ask you guys to comment on this journal to snag a spot in the picture. After that, tell me what you want to look like in the picture. [Hair style, colours, clothing, etc.] Also, if you don't want to be drawn in a human-form, just tell me! I'll draw you in any type of form! Dog/cat/rabbit/puddle on the ground(?)/dragon/etc.

I was going to make a limit to 15 people before, but I thought that was kind of unfair. What if I was up to the limitation, and other people wanted to be the picture? So, I decided to not set a limit as to how many people are allowed. If this turns about to be big/popular, and I get A LOT of people asking to be in the picture, I may just make more than one picture. ;3

The picture[s] will also have me…somewhere. xD

Oh. Okay. I lied. I am making a limitation. This is only open to people who watch me/people that I watch. Confused about what I mean about that? Just ask about it. ;3

So, anyways...I just wanted to say that I'm gonna be taking a little break from submitting anything for the next two weeks. Why? 'Cause I'm sorta busy over here. xD My Grand-mère is coming out this Saturday, so I have to spend a lot of time with her. And when I'm not spending time with her, I'm working my ass off at...work. Christmas parties are starting up, and everyone and their dog seems to want to hold them at Lily Lake Resort. Fun fun. Ah well. Christmas work hours = bonuses = me being able to come to Winnipeg in the summer. ^^

But, it's not like I'll never come on to dA in these two weeks. I'll come on every once in a while to answer back to any comments/comment on peoples art or journals. So, you'll still hear from me. =3

Uh...and I guess I should've said that I'll still be on this week, to add some request/art trade pictures...but after that, nada. =\

Well, I kind of want to make a Christmas one as well.
