I decided to take on another season with my contract job, so I'll be leaving for the South Pole again, starting on Monday.

I understand that I've not post much over the past couple of months.  This was mainly due to work and other commitments.  On the bright side, I would have more time to do stories and artwork after I get settled in for the next couple of months.  Depending on vacation time, I should be back home by late February to early March.

I also decided to join one of the clubs out there on dA, a long time coming to be honest.  This is for the Female Muscle Stories club :iconfemalemusclestories:.  For some of you that know, I've been to known to dabble into some fan-fictions.  So my work is on display there, but there are also others who do some great stories like :iconvince3:, :iconfreedom981:, and :iconthephoenixrisen:.  So if you have a moment, check these guys out as well.

I made it to the top half of the world earlier this week and I'm still trying to catch up with a variety of things.  After my work at the South Pole, I was at New Zealand and Australia for the last two weeks of February.  One of the highlights of this four and a half month experience was that I was fortunately able to meet with a couple of the dA members here, namely :iconmikazuki-dono: and :iconyoutatenshi: on the night before I was heading back to the States.

I don't know how many people are going to catch this, but I will be leaving to do contract work at Antarctica for the next couple of months.  If I have some downtime from my job, I can work on some ideas for stories or more drawings.  I leave on Thursday (10/16) and I'll probably come back home around February or March.

I don't do many posts in my journal because nothing uneventful happens to me or I don't have much deviations to focus on.

I haven't done many deviations for a while because I have been working on my Master's Degree for the past three years and feverishly on my thesis for the past three months.  All that work came to ahead recently and I will be graduating this semester with a degree in Atmospheric Sciences.  So this means that I would have more time to some more entries here (..while looking for some employment in the meantime....) on dA.  One example is located here.

1.WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE?
My handle stems from FFVIII's gunslinging heartthrob Irvine Kinneas (My other handle is slingerff8 on some other sites).  When I was playing laser tag with some friends, I had to drop the "gun" from the handle.  I decided to make a variation of the name due to my occasional stubbornness.

2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?
Hard to say when I purely cried, but I did get choked up last week watching John Elway's helicopter from highlights of Super Bowl XXXII.
