I think Facebook took over my life for sometime...

Summer vacation was absolutely fun. ^_^
I finally turned 21~!!!!!!!!!! ^_^


I have lost some of my love for his site and drawing unfortunately...

My skill and motivation is like the stock market.
Several years ago I was at the top... now i just hit bottom and is struggling to creep back up slowly.

I want to come back, learn and grow with you guys again. ^_^
My artistic skill is at a stand still... no improvement what-so-ever...ugh... FML.

College finals are finally over.

Summertime now.
I'm gonna work full time mondays thru fridays at Benihana until July 3rd. I want to make as much money i can in the beginning of the summer so i can enjoy the rest of the summer.

I'm gonna WRITE out a schedule. So i can keep track of my time. I wanna do as much drawing possible.

Yah... (after typing all this... i realized it's quite long... and it can be made into my journal entry. lolz)

I've been inactive lately, but I'm back. I have lots of new work, but there's so many events going on this weekend and this coming week.

Anime detour was fun today, im going again tomorrow and sunday. Saw some really cool cosplays, and some really odd ones as well.... XD

I met in person and also purchased an okami print. ^_^
She's a very friendly person.
I also met there. Now as for her, she didn't seem to enjoy herself very much. Seemed like she was only there to make money.
I got her to draw a picture of genki, but she didn't really do such a good job. I was quite disappointed.. or actually mad about it.

I paid $40 for it.... T_T why... I'm such an idiot. I didn't want to be mean so I didn't say anything.... fuck. I'll show you the picture later.

I'm attending events at the University of Minnesota- a japanese tea ceremony and etiquette day, sushi day , dumpling night and this banquette. Quite a busy schedule

I'm gonna get my sketch book back from and I'll give my recent drawings nice scans. ^_^

I've been quite motivated to draw lately 'cause I met this wonderful girl... lolz which is actually ~lucidsky^_^
She can draw much better than I can. She's drawn pictures for me and given me those pictures. Now, we're taking turns drawing in a sketch book.

It was such a boost of motivation. It felt good. Feels like I got my love for drawing back. lolz... I feel like such a dork... 'cause I'm attracted to her through her artwork. But I suppose it would be the same if someone was attracted to a singer or a talented dancer.

I'll finish up the chibi project probably this month, hopefully.
I really want everyone to see them since I've kept them all hidden.

I hope to see more amazing work from you Emily. I believe in your talent. You're better than me even. Like I've said before, talent is getting younger and younger these days.

I'm gonna take a 11 day vacation from everything and get my shit together.

I gotta get back on track with my artwork. I have been drawing but nothing special at all.

The art book is making progress with 3 brand new drawings that will not be posted yet.
As for the chibi project, it's on hold for now. 8 out of 10 are finished.

I have met in person! She's such a cool person!
Check out her gallery! She's a much better anime artist than me.
I'm looking forward to learning from her.

My vacation starts on the 28th of March. No school, no work. Nothing.
I'll have time for everything. I'm gonna practice my ass off. AAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I WANT TO GET BETTER!!!!

<sup>Waaaaaaahhhhh!!! I just bought an Intous3 tablet!!! It's awesome!!! I finally found time to post this! I got it three days ago and have been trying to get used to it's large size. XD

There's so many buttons and the touch strips needed getting used to, but they're all great! There are so many different settings I can mess around with, it's amazing!!! ^_^

I wanna create a fully colored authentic art book just like the ones you see of professional artists, like, Tite Kubu (Bleach Series), Masashi Kishimoto (Naruto Series), and the awesome Mr. Okama (Himawari! and Cloth Road).

And the amazing "robot : super color comic" with more than a dozen amazing artist in it. Just like these books!

But!!! Mine will be hard cover... ^{if I can afford it. XD}

I'll have to improve my skills a lot!!! I'll be working on drawings that will be "Art Book" worthy.

Saturday, January 17th, or whenever i really feel like it, since I REALLY want my friends to join, but most of them are busy with their own things, so it's perfectly understandable.



January 17th might be the last day for you guys to submit something for my chibi project. ..

I'd love to draw your characters in chibi form. ^_^

I'm much more motivated to draw my friend's characters than popular anime characters.

Then, when you got the drawing submitted. Note me about it and I'll feature you and your drawing in my journal.

Then whenever i decide to end the project...(most likely when all my friends participate), whoever had submitted a drawing, I'll draw all of the characters in my own way~ in chibi form.

And whomsoever character I like most, I will draw a full character fanart of them afterward.

There is no longer a due date.
I will end the project whenever I think is a good time. When the project has ended however, if there is anyone else who joins I'll just add their chibi pic to the rest and update the picture.

I will submit my drawing of everbody's character in chibi form a week or two later.

They'll be side by side in rows or something with the artist name and character name underneath. The regular full body drawing of my favorite character will be submitted much later... unfortunately.

My friend and I have looked up some stuff on anime conventions in minnesota, and found that there are several coming up.

One is called Anime Detour and it's held in April. We're gonna go to that one for sure. It'll be are first time. ^_^

My friend also suggested the Kakkoi con - held in August.
He said that some activities have adult themed stuff, and it'll be interesting - but it has less activities.

I was wondering if any of you know anything at all about the Kakkoi convention at all. And how much adult oriented material there is there.

I've checked online but there's not much information on the kakkoi convention.

As long as it's not like loaded with sick porno everywhere(like the one i went to in japan... >_< I'd be fine. I dont have much a problem really... it'll just be kinda weird.. >_<

I had to wake up early and get to gamestop at 10:00am to pic it up, because I had to be at work in 30mins. On lunch break I was able to go home and play it for like an hour! It was soo totally awesome!

I've been waiting for this kind of RPG for the PS3! So many good games are coming out

I'm gonna get even more PS3 games!! Little Big Planet, Bioshock, Resistance2, Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm, Valkyria Chronicles, and Resident Evil 5 looks hella cool... never played the other resident evil games tho...

Well!!! Soon you guys will probably see some fan art of Polka from Eternal Sonata!!^_^

1st - I'll be finishing up my pumpkin carving sometime next week.
2nd - I'm not too sure when I'll start my speed animation. I really wanna do it tho.
3rd - Painting for school.

5th - Main one I'll be working on. I will be looking through my old drawings and re-drawing them.

I may even cg them too. Cuz I've gotta build up my gallery again. It looks like crap right now... I need more complete and good quality drawings like I did back then!!

6th - I'll make another one of those OC drawings. This time tho, I may add my own characters too!

I have soooo much to do!!!

Project #1 I have painting's I have to finish for class. My teacher didnt give us a guildline of what to do. It's up to our imagination. It's the first project, and so she said that we need to set ourselves apart from everyone and impress the class. That sucks cuz i dont know waht to paint...

Project #2 Pumpkin carving contest I am participating in; its being held by management in my job - Japanese Restaurant Benihana. We get to win a free dinner for two and free drinks. Dinner for two has a value of nearly $70.00 which is quite nice. The chef cooks in front of you and perform tricks ^_^

Project #2 continued I'm using the same pumpkin for my 3-d design class, cuz my teacher said to go outside and find something organic/growing, and make art outa it. Well, the pumpkin works...

Project #3 I'm working on a short speed animation. I'm drawing out a quick storyboard tho... I need to find a good time to start. Cuz im only giving myself less than 3 days to complete it.

Project #4 I'm also working on a drawing for my friends on DA. You guys will be pleasantly surprised i believe. ^_^

My friend explained a lot of stuff to me.

First, he said, he sent a worm virus to drymonkeyfeathers somehow, and that his fan on his pc was stopped which caused the hard drive to over heat and pretty much blow up, but, before all of that happened, the hard drive is flash formatted or something... which means like, all the files just gets corrupted, and not really deleted. It is unrecoverable. So, even the external hard drives he had hooked up is messed up too now.

Second thing.

Apparently, my friend pspHaxman089 says that the art theif was somehow emulating my IP address...

So to Deviant Art, it looked like it was me who made the dry-monkey-feathers account and made all the mess.
pspHaxman089 said that, this is probably why it's taking so long for him to get banned.

Deviant Art must be confused since the IP addresses are the same. So it looks like my smilingturtle and his drymonkeyfeathers account are coming from the same computer.

So when I went to report his artwork, deviant art didn't care since the IP addresses are the same.

So if Deviant Art decides to do a IP Ban on his account, that'll mean that I'll get banned as well. I wouldn't be able to access DA on my computer then... >_<

Well, at least his account is no longer usable. And his computer is blown out, so I guess its safe to continue now.


I'm sorry everyone for the problems I may have caused.
