TMM here, I just wanted to post a journal and let you all know I will be extending my break a little longer. I know a lot of you have been messaging me about restarting the group, but right now I just can't do it. It's not that I don't want to, I just need more time to figure things out. We have decided to close SMOCT3, effective immediately. This decision was difficult to make and for some of us, positively heartbreaking. However, we believe that there are major issues present in the tournament as it currently stands, and that it would be wrong to attempt to continue the competition while they remain unaddressed.

It turns out, that the extension itself isn't very useful unless your opponent is late too. So, we are tweeking the rules of the extension a bit so that instead of a "Timeliness extension" it's going to be more of a "polishing" extension as well.

This means as long as you submit ALL of your entry, even if it is in sketches/lineart form, you can use the extension to edit your piece (color/ink/shade/tone/polish/edit).

All the other rules of the extension apply.

OUR UPDATE

After messaging all the judges; we can finally come to the conclusion that having a deadline on a Tuesday was a bad idea... And the admins need sometime to work somethings out.
