It's been something like 6 months? Not that the internet ground to a halt in my absence.

I bust my wrist (about 6 months ago, funnily enough) & I haven't been able to draw or write or anything fun like that pretty much since.

I have a scanner now, so time-willing I'll be adle to upload all that cheesy art I've been threatening to upload for ages.

The two sketches I've uploaded today are of Link from the Legend of Zelda game series, more specifically the cell shaded era of Wind Waker & of the Phantom Hourglass. Both very good games.

I was so surprised when I came on DA the day after I uploaded my Valentine Stamp to find it had been faved & collected eight times in a matter of hours.

Then I upload my 'Link the Hero' stamp, after bering really nerdy & researching Hylian, & it has all ready been added to a collection.
You're such nice people, I feel so lucky

I've also had over 1,000 page views. Thank you very much.

On the general news front, I have been given a drawing tablet by a good friend of mine. I've not stopped playing with it, I'm so sad Hopefully I can figure out how to use it properly

I have a few ideas for sketches that I will upload once I can find a scanner... I've been doodeling on my notes in lectures again, so I should probably re-draw them properly.

& finally I have a few pictures from bonfire night last year - when sad-act that I am was playing with the exposure time on my camera - that I may upload.

& that's about it for now really

I finally made my new avatar & I'm quite pleased with it - how vain

This year has been very busy & kind of stressfull but I'm finally back on my feet.
I have some new ideas in the pipeline (don't I always, but these might actually materialise) & I'm looking forward to 2009

It's nothing big; the background surrounding the stamp (which was a pale blue, if you're interested) is now transparent.

I've been back in Uni (after the Easter break) for less than a week & I'm all ready procrastinating on DeviantArt.

I've uploaded a picture Sam gave to me of a lovely woodland scene, half-in-half-out of focus, & I'm also working on a few more pictures in between working on my university stuff.

I have a little picture of a fox & duckling I might upload once I've finished faffing about with colours & a sketch of a ballgown I did some time late last year. There's also something a little more top secret which I'll get round to at some point! [shhh!]

Also it seems I haven't got the hang of making the area around the serrated edge transparent. Oops. I'll fix it then upload the new versions in their places. The actual designs wont change.

I'm back in Bangor at the mo. Knackered after the trip

I've had some more requests to draw neopets so hopefully I'll be getting round to that soon. (Yeh, I know, I've said that before...) Hybrid seems to be quite popular Thank you to everyone who commented, faved or viewed.

I'm hoping to get into photography at some point, as well. I may/may not be uploading some piccys soon... depending on workload.

I'm hopefully going to be movie editing again. Who knows, I might upload some stills of scenes I like

I've tried my hand at making animations recently, as you can probably see from my new logo. But I can't figure out how to upload them.

A little help box appeared, no doubt telling me what I needed to do. But your's truly is too tired to read it, so it's my own fault.

I do have some more neopets hybrids for you, though. Not Hybrid himself, but another pair of xweetoks.

May upload them smetime soon.

But I'm off out in a bit. Just finished writing a psychological article for a research journal. Feh. Done as much as I can do for the moment.

I'm fencing later & then going to watch the firework display on Anglesea (which is an island off the coast of Wales, if you didn't know).

So wish me luck ;D

Just finishing work on YET ANOTHER Neopets project (aren't you lucky?) & I'm hitting the hay for the night. I'm not uploading it yet.

It's funny how, at the moment, my life seems to revolve around my computer. Nah, not funny - maybe just sad.

Well, it's 12am, so I'm pretty knackered. Yet I still have time to faff about with my journal. Says it all, really.

Whoah, I know I sound like a five-year-old on a sugar hype, but I honestly can't tell you how chuffed I am to have such a positive response to my Hybrid Series!!

(yes, I use words like 'chuffed'. I is bringing them back ;D)

It was ace logging in to my account to find people had commented (& they were nice comments, too).

But to find people had put my work in their favourites... *triumphant music*

Or it's because you've seen my 'Hybrid the Xweetok' series & wondered if my journal would give you insight into the sort of mind that comes up with this stuff.

I'm fine with either reason ;D

So, I'm sitting here, writing this, trying to sound intelligent despite the fact that all the stuff I've uploaded is Neopet themed.

It's also uploading reaaaaaally slowly. Dunno if that in itself is Divine Retribution against my drawing insanity.

My art will get better. Or at least be on different themes.
