I went away to North Cyprus to see my family and boy do i miss it! I had taken many photos and soon to up load them, but you can image how I am with the uploading! it's going to be an other few days until i take them off my camera to my computer!

other good news is next week, I am off to Turkey! there should be lots to see and great people to meet.

But in the meanwhile hope you are all doing photo-tastic!

other news..
i recently had been looking a calender on DA and had wanted it for ages! the work is beautiful i was a bit weary of ordering but finally thought this is it i got to get the order in! so finally it arrives and I am so surprised! it's truly great! the print and the smell of new printed paper!

I'm also thinking of getting a few significant pieces of work from my wall especially my recent collectables and favs I chosen. still thinking.

If anyone has any suggestions of significant pieces I am all eyes and ears!

I cannot wait until they are back!

Also I am looking into developing my own film and photos, I haven't much room but recently brought two out of the three solutions needed to develop black and white film! just need a fixer and a few more containers and I should be good!

If anyone has any advise on the best way to develop their own photos or how best to do it I am all ears!

Friday i'm having a little visitor for the wekend.. then instead of having a a return ticket to london it's a one way ticket to Bath! for the next three weeks i'm going to be in Bath .. celebrating my birthday is going to be strange (july 23rd ) in a new place and away from friends and family..
then the two weeks after i'm going back homeeee but home to Cyprus.. oh i can't wait.. then back to Bath for some months...

Why Bath.. hehee welll.. there is an oppertunity for a 3D engineering placement at a company called Buro Happold!!
which is really scary too...
new place and in a way a new start.. i feel so strange i don't know what i feel! ..

how are you all

well for me, i am well and healthy :dancing:
i thought i should write and other journal to say where i am
and also sory for my lacking in comments i am currently at:

Deviant =spRingkOols has 1,016 new messages ( 778D, 19M, 24C, 58J, 4P )

so i haeva lot of catching up to do.. as you see for the comments and polls .. i'm trying already
my hands are typing as fast as they can

here is the update:

so i started work at an Architects firm.. designing custom furniture and modelling it in 3D.. i started this a few weeks ago and it is freelancing for Thurdays and Fridays so i think that the time is nearly up..
so since i have been working there they have really loved my work and my 3D Design skillzzzz hehe i have been working in a study room for one of the biggest mansions in london (which i can't name ) but i can say what i designed.. two things for teh room, one is a wardrobe in which curves to the corners of the wall and is called the invisible wardrbe as i designed it to not be realised and be a part of the wall
the second piece is a levitating table and it really works

so they have gone to the Architect makers to be made

the only thing that is a real down is the pay..
there isn't any so far to be seen..
and that is a hard subject to talk to seeign as they have used my designs and getting paid for them.. i think i deserve something ..

but apart from that the job i think is nearly finished, untill they call me in again, there is one other good thing about it..
the firm that i am working for had one of his architect friends come to visit the studio and saw what i was doing.. so ther is talks between me and this other archtect for freelance work for some of the week too

which is good news i jsut have to make sure that money is a thing a stress a bit more..

apart from working a bit.. i am behind the sceens trying to re-design my website..
for good reason too.
it just isn't good enough..

so i have been doing that.. i have to admit .. it has been taking longer then i expected it too..
but that is just me and my bad knowledge of web design

but i have been doing photography still but to polaroid and medium format more..

Cardiff was ok.. but i have to say the best thing out of the whole trip was the Bridge..
the brisge to going over to whales was amazing..
and of course i had my camera at hand

there was fog coating the bridge and it looked like it was floating..

so Cardiff..
it was half term for al the kids to come out and play and they were everywhere..
it was tiering but the bridge again on the way back ..
just amazing

i got lots to do and not much time.. more added to my site which i'm so pleased about and more to come so i have to get that done so i can refer designers nad everyone to see what i can do.. the sneeker doodle project has started and i will soon reveal all as soon as i can catch up to all teh numbers that are coming in already

other missions:
ok so i am painting now
i have gone to painting illustraintions to more computer generated are with paint and canvous..
this will take me many months to finish as i'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to equal~ness and level..
i'm still learning though so if anyone can point anything wrong out that would be really gOood

it's really late at the moment.. 4:41am
these days i'm not gettign much sleep but i am getting my energy levels back up .. it's slow but getting there <-- feel a bit liek this right now

so that is just an update and i feel drunk from the lack of sleep hehe

p.s Fabric on Friday was amazign as usual but the awful touching of teenage boys is abit annoying..
some dude dancing very close and tried the touching the waist move buti just turned around and said a few things politly and then he went away, then a few minutes later an oter dude came up to me and said what you uni you go to?

well i have just finished a book called: Ten Faces of Innovation
a book by Tom Kelly and autor of 'The Art of of Innovation'
it talks about the innovation~est ways that thier company IDEO takes to make design and usabillity a lot more fun and much thought outside the box...

Have you ever heard of a store called ColdStone Creamery? this store sells ice cream.. unfortunatly it hasn't come to the UK but in most of America Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream stores are found everywhere...

they're not just remembered for the ice cream and the flavours.. but the innovation behind the design and selling ice cream.. Cold stone sell an experience which most Ice cream Stores i find forget about the experience of eatting an ice cream..

this store is unique from the moment you step into the store.. all flavour laid out right infront of your very eyes.. ready to mix and patch like a 'pick and mix' in a sweety store...
they take your choosen flavours and put it onto a jumbo slab which then someone twirls your ice cream with your springkles of all kinds (of your choice ofourse) on top, then to a bowl or a cone at your choice..
it's not only the fact that you can mix and match your ice cream flavours with a different sprinkle everytime you visit the store.. but, it is that you can only get that chocolate and lemon ice cream mixed there and mixed right infront of you...

wOOooo sOoooo merry christmas to everyone and merry boxing day
so how was everyones christmas?

mine was really gOOood.. i went to go and see my last uncle and aunti left in England and cousins and it was sOoo cOOool.. there was gOood company and gOOood fOOood (hense my santa belly now)

i had laughed like that in ages.. and there was all kinds of topics that came up and it's really gOood at these occassions as we always go into where my parents came from and yesterday we counted the amount of family there is in just my dads and brothers family and all their kids and my dads brothers wifes family and my mums family and it came up to a grand total of 120

wOoooo and that not evern all the family!!
we worked it out that the family that is alive there is about rounded off to 1000 people ...
we were all like wOooo.. and nearly fell off of my seat!!
cousines we haven't even met and first cousines at that!! .. geee.. my family is bigger then i thought .. heehehheee....


everyone was so happy and glad to see each other.. and it was sOoo gOOod...
i hope to see the rest of my family next year... i really miss them lots...

just to say hello and i am still drinking my tea hehee

i have got two projects on the go

so i will tell you on the projects..
1. some may remember ages ago when i talked about my writing but for you new watch i write quite a bit and my photography i am trying to experiment also.. medium format camera and also my fav camera which i am hoping to use soon when i get some film is a polaroid land camera although it is big and chuncky i still love the thought of instant pictures and this camera!!! arhhhh camerrrraaaaa

heheheh so to the point
1. i am concerntrating on publishing a possible book

and 2. i recently graduated from uni with a BA (hon) 3D Multi Disciplinary Design Degree and i have a certain product that i have been working on for a few months but i want to take it to the industry and the biggGGGggg bOOoys!! yeeyyyyy!! ehehehe

Oooo such new adventures and so much to do hehehe..

Devmet London 5th November at: the palace
wOOohOOoowww so the meet was at Alexandra Palace and geee it was sOoooo huge!!!
there were fances arounf everywhere and there were loads of policeman around being very alert and on thier guard..

was amazing ... there was loads of games to play and i won some teddies and got some won for me from Mr :aphasia100: thank yOOooou
and so we were late...

funal got there and met outside the budwiser stand...
hehehhee spot the Deviants hehhe
it was very hard to miss them hehehehe
met a few deviants who i must say are very lovely people and you know who you are

and then time for the firworks

but it was a long time going on ...
i got many shots of them and i will put more up sOOon

so i didn't get to meet all the deviants but there is a meet inDecember ... christmas meet so hopefully i will meet you all there *run jump spin and wOOohOOoww*

4. i come from North Cyprus and i am a mix of turkish, spanish, swidish, german and greek.

arhhh so i haven't been around lately but i think it's going to be like this for a while.. i have recently got into a ew project that i have been thinking about and it is taking my mind space..

on the photography side well now that is hard,
i have been very inspired by others and very much by just the skys of today and yesterday....

i am not really likin digital cameras at the mometn because they can get very fustrating and i think it's also because i can see the mistakes i have made before even moving the film onto my computer without developing it ..

so it's back to film for me

i have got into a few cameras, one i'm getting on saturday when i go to visit my guy :asphasic100 which is a polariod land camera

they have the coolest film ever, they have the ones which you can peel adn do lots of different technics with, but i have recently brough a twin reflex camera also which has been very good to use

this weekend was great :aphasic100 came down and gave me a visit and we went out with our twin reflex cameras and shot like crazy!!!

hehehee there was the lloyds building the the Gerkin in London and that was great!

i even got a few modelling shots too!! hehehehe
it was a very cOool day .. so now with this medium format film .. i'm going to have to develope it and wait for the out comes

it's going to be sOoo cool!!

i have no idea what they are going to look like, there were a few ialso took of double exposure and one triple!! a bit of experimentation

i hope they come out well

well this weekend is going to be very interesting to see what comes out with the polariod land camera also


this weekend i'm going up to visit the mr again hehehe and we are going to take more pictures and visit some fields
also we are doing a project together, it's a design competition from D&AD but we're not entering as we're not students anymore .. arhhh the student life *day dreaming* *cOugh cough* hehehe

which seems really good at the moment
there is lots of ideas coming together ..
and teo design minds coming together is a great experience, especially now he is working in an all round design atmosphere, he knows his stuff

so we are up to lots and lots and i'm still trying to do my website and redesign it .. it's going ok... hehehehehe

and see the places that i see in your photography.... it wpuld be so strange and just in amazment...

the only thing is if i do it now then i have a feeling you can't just go off travelling .. it's going to be 3 years straight trying to get everything set up and all and then an other few years to get it to all work...

...hurrican Katerina isn't nice news to hear.. but i had recently seen the pictures from the sight and video footage and it was filled with sadness and pain...it seemed like a third world country in which there were no water food and housing electricity did exsist ...

New Orleans as everyone knows is now still waiting for the sixth day ... people are dieing because of the heat suffering from heat stock or dehydration and still the ambulences are being called out right this moment as i type this.. as we all sit here or as we go about the day as normal...

others are dying from heat attacts and some elderly because they haven't got their medication... some are being assisstent out of the hospital in the area today after the six days of waiting and this is the time that the system did not work...

the pictures were so graphic and news headling of rats beginning to eat the corpses because they were waiting for so long had struck today as sadness... there were hope at first and now people are beginning to get angrey and diserpointed...

i too amdiserpointed in the system which has not worked but i do know that the area was as big as the united kingdom and so is sixday too much of a wait?

i don't know...

they are recieving food and water now because of the heat .. one story which the worldnews covered today was about an elderly woman who's air conditioning had stoped in her New Orleans home and she was suffering a heat attack at the time... people took her to a car in which has air conditioning to cool her down... but this unfornatly did not help the fact and she passed away...

what is there to do? what can we so to help?

this is just thoughts of today... i wish the people who are suffering at this moment and have been suffering the best to suvive .. my heat and thoughts go out to them all....

this weekend has been the greatest..a bit tiered and i think my loOvely lovely was a bit (wOoooo very very) wOorn out tooO hehehe

but i think it was mainly because of the carnival that was held in Central London!! a very exciting event where there is enough chicken to feed everyone of the 450,000 people there (i think it was that many) but there was a lot of sqashing.... there were amberlances on stand by and there were a lot of people who were dehydrated or had just drank a lot of alcohol!! :drink: hehehe

there was great music including drum and bass!! and lots of reggy and a bit of dance and old time two step music, and just some modern stuff.. all round pleaser

i did et a few shots in but they were hard to et as the crowds were big and i swear people are just getting really tall these days!! hehehe heheh

the main event was the dancers on the floats and the amazing costums and the energy that was coming fom the dancers!! wOoooh!! really goOd atmosphere and it could have gone on all night.. but it started shutting down the even around 7 and queues for thestation were getting crazy long... and still queues at 9.. but it was worth it!!

did anyone else get a chance to go?

well i am sOoo tiered as today it was over to central london for some shopping, The Comran Shop this is one of the amazing designer shops but expencive!

there are chairs and great cafted curved woden pieces as wll asa lot of lighting and bOoks!!! and boy do i lOove b~Oooks... i think my cash card was lucky this time and hid in my pocket otherwise i could have brought a whole apartment up there heheh hehe well there would have been a big dent in my card!! hehehee


yeh so i think it's bed time for me and maybe an other journal tomorrow which makes sence hehehe

back and getting meditaion and also going to start driving, i reckon this is going to be a new start in which i will drive everyehere!!

espeacially when i go back home to Cyprus

so how long did it take for you to drive?
