Why yes. Yes, I did comment in my last entry about how it'd taken me six months to write a new one, only now to be doing exactly the same thing. Whoops. :\

Uh, anyway, I've actually been doing a bit of drawing since, including the rejected entry Alex and I collaborated on for the DarkStalkers Tribute Contest, which I will be uploading shortly, once he finishes tweaking a thing or two we didn't catch before the original submission was made. Gotta make sure it's at least perfect for the dA audience, no?
Also, Alex decided to found a communal art blog between ourselves and a couple other local friends (including many found here on DeviantArt), which I have also been creating a project for—but have yet to post an entry on—myself. It, too, will make an appearance on here, when completed.
Otherwise, I've got a lot of random practice projects I've set for myself, including another self portrait (I promise I'm not that narcissistic) translated from this photo, which will act as an exercise on perspective drawing.

So yeah, I'll be updating again soon, within the next couple of weeks (and hopefully not in another six months. Let's not make this a trend, here).

I've just decided to finally change up the ol' journal design, so you'll be noticing a few changes happening slowly here, if you stalk me enough.

H'okay, so, what I gots for your viewing pleasure in this installment is, first of all, the Half-Life PS2 cover redesign I did about a month or so, ago. Then we have what I've been working on recently, F---IN' BEAR!! (a work in progress) and it's sketch. And finally, a self portrait times thrice, which I took almost five months ago, but didn't immediately submit because of the abundance of me-related deviation submissions I seem to be having. And of course, the same with text, in devID form.

Oh look, I drew more of myself. And for any of you out there with a PSP and a copy of God of War: Chains of Olympus, I present to you God of War: Chains of Olympus Save Data Backgrounds. Have at it you crazy rascals.

So, anyone read the Y: The Last Man series? All I can say is, HOLY CRAP go read it if you've not. You'll want to before the film adaptation comes out next summer, anyway. I just spent the past few days reading volumes 1 through 9, and loved it. The only problem being now is that I have to wait for the 10^th and final volume to come out in June. Speaking of graphic novels to look forward to in the coming months, I stumbled upon Lobster Johnson Volume 1, and subsequently Hellboy Volume 8!
Nearly peed myself out of joy both times.

Oh, and I'm sad to report that the movie adaptation of the book I was going on about a few weeks ago (Yes Man by Danny Wallace) is being totally dumbed down in it's Americanization. Major plot points have been changed and everything. I'm so pissed. So, go read that too, before you end up seeing the movie first and assume the book is crap, too. Because it's not. It's brilliant. And hilarious. Filled with fantastic, intelligent British humor that apparently will completely fly over the heads of the ignorant, white trash who will be coming to see it, simply because it stars Jim Carrey.

...So, yay for awesome books.

Anyway, what else's been up with me, le'see... Oh, played through and beat Army Of Two with Graham; so that was fun.

Uhhhmmm... that's really about it. Or ,really about all that I can think of, as I am writing this at, whoa, 5:45am. And that's with no sleep, people. Sooooo... I think I'll be heading to bed now. Good mornight.

So yeah. Alright, first on the agenda, I submitted the final sketch of the thing I was working on, that I gave a} preview of, last time, simply entitled Ninja Spy Lady (jumping from an exploding plane which presumably has something to do with her). Secondly I submitted the results of my finally trying to buckle down and learn how to use my Wacom tablet. Here is the resulting progress so far, in the form of random doodles and a self portrait.

In other news, my friend Andy has returned from his mission for the LDS church, and therefor will soon be pummeled with myself, and others, trying to persuade him to sign up for a dA account and start showing off his artwork to the world. So we all look forward to that.

Well, I finally finished Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows a few days ago, which means I finally got to get around to the spoiler infested devWATCH that I've had to neglect. I'm happy to say I finished going through the 5,133+ awaiting me. Man it's nice to have a subscription. I'd probably only be half way done, still, if it weren't for the preview thumbnails. So I'm happy that's done.

I've also gone ahead and put up a preview of what I've been working on lately, the piece I mentioned was on it's way in my last entry, for those of you interested.

Oh, and it's my birthday today. Twenty-Two. (That's a two followed by another two, for those not in the know.) Technically I won't have been born for another twelve hours or so, as of this writing (I was born 12:42 in the afternoon, Mountain Time.)

Anyway, there's a bit of an update for you. Cheers; I'm off to bed.

The past year or so for me has brought along more changes than I ever thought possible, both positive and negative. This has all caused me to adjust and adapt as accordingly as I could, while trying to deal with the confusion. UP until now, though, I've not really stepped back to look at everything. And, only in doing so, have I come to find that things need to change. Many things. I'm not really going to get into it all right now; just going to focus on specific things relating to DeviantArt itself, as such. One of the problems you may all be aware of, is the fact that, for the past few years, my desire and drive and output of illustrations, has been slowing to a trickle and, finally, a stop for the past few months. A lot of it has to do with personal reasons and issues, most of which are not at all directly related, but which seem to have had some sort of affect, at least. For months I touted the return of something new. But, I couldn't bring myself to do anything. There's been no room for inspiration or drive, when stress, depression, and fear, and uncertainty take up so much room. A few weeks ago I did draw something, though. Inspiration found it's way. But just as quickly as it happened, something unexpected happened, changing the source of inspiration. Due to the personal and, now, altered relation to things as they currently stand, no one will see it; not for a long time, if not forever.

Anyway, though sort of related, that's not the main thing I was getting at. What I'm really trying to say is, due to all of this lack of interest or will to do any art recently... should I just give up for now? Yes, I still enjoy it. Yes, I'd perhaps one day like to pursue some sort of career with it. I'd honestly like to be famous one day. But I really don't know. As an alternative, I've taken up acting. I just finished up the last of two classes. I'm with a talent agency. Top in a state well known for being a fantastic filming location. Discovered and pursued by a talent scout with them ...But I've yet to really meet with the agents themselves. Because as of yet, I really haven't felt all that talented. But as part of reevaluating myself and making it a goal to be more positive, I'm planning on setting up a meeting with the agents, soon. Try and get acting jobs and everything. Again, perhaps one day become famous.

So... the real question is... do I try to stick with something that has been my dream and main passion since childhood; but that hasn't really been working lately... or do I go with something new? The thing I've been told I'm good at, but am myself, not sure of? Do I go with the talent that I and everyone else knows I have and try my damnedest to get as high as I can with that, which is more likely that I'll get higher with that... or do I try the new thing that, is one of the hardest in the world to get the highest in? That, if we're talking hypothetically being famous famous means being the best you can... which I'm unsure of being able to do, but at the same time, some part of me, feels I could do... do I go with that? Do I go with something that seems more guaranteed than the other, but that I seem to have less drive for? I just... I don't know. In the end, I'd like to do both. Be able to do both. I nearly flunked almost my entire school career because of it- not because I was lazy or stupid or didn't pay attention in class or didn't understand any of what was going on- often times it was because I was devoting class-time and homework time to perfecting that craft. I knew what I wanted to be. I was prepared to be the best I could at it. But I foolishly made the one mistake of not seeing that, I needed everything else to even get anywhere. I thought it a stupid rule. Why do I need test scores and transcripts stating my intelligence or my skill? Just freaking talk to me; ask to see my work, for pete's sake! Why do you need to see a resumé showing some college or something to know how well I can draw? Just ask to see something, goddammit! And I still feel that way. I accept things the way they are. But it's just unfair. There are certain hindrances that would get in the way of even trying to follow these stupid rules and go to the college necessary. Mainly, money. A few days ago my mom let me know someone tried to poison our dogs.

She'd let the dogs out, let them back in, took my little brother to work, came home, went out with the dogs to throw something away and saw something out of the corner of her eye. There, sitting just inside the gate was a small piece of meat with green stuff (presumably Decon/rat poison) sprinkled on top.
She immediately sent the dogs in the house and looked around to see if there was anymore. Two more, larger pieces were found over by the other gate. So, my mom called the police and they came. Also went ahead and mentioned our mysterious visitor whom two different neighbors have seen coming out of our backyard.

Seriously, what the hell is going on? My mom thinks it may be someone who knows our cars and has been watching the house. Because she wasn't gone for very long, and the stuff wasn't there before she left when she let the dogs out out. She's hoping with the animal control and police being there today that maybe whoever it is will back off. It just makes me so angry hearing about all of this weird crap going on. And the things I've mentioned here aren't even the half of it.

It was really lucky my mom even saw the meat, she says. Otherwise one of two dogs, at least, would be dead.

Not cool.

In lighter news... I hit my first 10,000 Pageviews almost a week ago! I've had plans to submit something in celebration of it. Well, submit something in general, really, since the last things I submitted; let alone DREW, were in January. How sad is that?

I've even had my sketch pad sitting open, right in front of me at work for the past three days without a single thing happening. I hate artists block. Especially when it's this bad. I think this may even be the worst it's ever been. I mean, usually I'll draw at least ONE thing per month. But it's now March, and the last thing I drew was in January.

Blarg!

...I'm pretty sure it just stems from all the stress I've been under with, well, every aspect of my life right now. Parental worries still abound, my love life is being tugged around, two sightings so far of a mysterious person wandering around or out of our backyard have surfaced, followed by the attempted dog poisoning, which may or may not be connected; money worries, which branch off onto wanting to move out, wanting to buy fantastic toys, and just general money type things. Worries about my friends, family. Worries about my success and if I'll even go anywhere with my art. Anywhere in the field I want to go into. Oh, and I've been approached by the local, highly sought after and honored talent agency. Which is all weird still. And I have been signed up for a top acting class there. Which of course, comes back to the money thing, again. It's an expensive class.

And all of those are honestly just the tip of the iceberg. Bleh. I'm sick of drama out the wahzoo.

Anyway, I'm rambling now. New stuff will most hopefully be up soon. A big, BIG, heartfelt thank you to all those who've watched me the past couple of years, continue to watch me, parused my gallery, or, at best, taken a gander. Hopefully you're all hear when the next 10k rolls around, as well as some new faces!

So far both parents have asked if I want to talk. So far, I've avoided it. It's almost like I've decided to just let it go. I've got enough stress on my plate right now with loads of other personal stuff, I don't need this.
I'm worried most about my youngest brother, of course. So I've lately been trying to keep him company, if I'm not just hanging out by myself that is. Again I apologize to all of my friends for being reclusive and weird. It's not that I don't want to hang out with you or hate you suddenly. That's just silly and far from how I feel about you all. In fact, I'd like to thank those of you who have been supportive and talked to me and have been talking to me. You're all great friends and I appreciate all you've done and do. I only hope I can repay you all some day, in some way.

Okay, enough of the drama corner. I went to Best Buy the other night with my little brother and ended up buying "The Animation Show Volumes 1 & 2." It's an awesome collection of short animated films from the likes of Mike Judge, Don Hertzfeldt, and Bill Plympton, among others. Ranging from hilarious to downright visually and technically amazing. If you've not seen it, i recommend picking it up. (If you are, however, a friend of mine, I'll probably end up just making you watch it with me.)

Anyway, enjoy the new stuffs and I hope I can get more up soon!

Bugger. I really hate it when I'm gathering stuff to take to work with me, and I think, "Eh, I don't need my sketch pad today. I usually don't draw anything anyway." And then, of course, an idea hits and I'm uncomfortable and angry with myself for the rest of the time being. 'cause I just know I'm gonna lose the idea or something.

The colors for the DareDevil thing are done/almost done. "Done/almost done" because, I don't know if it really is done or not. I don't know if I should add more to it or not. Perhaps I should just submit what I have and take votes from you all?
I'm also working on digitaly painting over/under a sketch of a friend for her MySpace page theme. I'm liking it so far.

Thanksgiving, was very good. Hope everyone enjoyed theirs, and made sure to over-eat.

I also find it mildly interesting that this entry is 20 days after the last one was submitted. Hm.

Added GORILLA GIRL Nekked: Sketch to the gallery, just now, when I should have, well, forever ago.

I have this little packet of Runts candy and I'm so happy that there's more than one banana one. I kinda like the blueberry ones. I'm unhappy, however, with whatever the hell these green ones are supposed to be. They were originally lime, I know that. Then they changed them to green apple, when that stupid "change any candy with a lime flavor to sour apple" craze was going on. But now it's like, an egg shape. Maybe a watermelon or something? I dunno. What I do know is that it freaking burns. Okay, that's my rant for now. As you were.

Ok, so, I guess Angela was right and my last CCS journal entry was kind of pastel-y/girly in color. But, my monitor at home is actually slightly darker than it should be, so I was seeing it as the colors I have currently set for this entry. Now it's the color of Ninja Turtles! Yay! That's all I've done for now, but I am brainstorming a whole crap-load of ideas for my journal, so, stay tuned! Oh yeah... and I'll get some sort of art up in the gallery, too, I'm sure.

Just tinkering with this new CSS mode for subscribers that DeviantArt is beta testing. Pretty sweet so far, I say. It's a little different from HTML, but I'm catching on fairly quick here. But yeah, that's all I have to say for now. I gotta get to bed.

For those of you who've heard about it, but don't know what it is, Silent Hill is the title of a survival horror video game series, produced by Konami. What distinguishes the Silent Hill games from other survival horror games (such as Resident Evil) is that Silent Hill focuses on story, character, and atmosphere rather than action and violence. There are plenty of monsters to fight in Silent Hill, and plenty of weapons with which to fight them. But there are also complex puzzles to solve, detailed (and often disturbing) environments to explore, and engaging stories revealed through numerous cinematic cut scenes. Each game unfolds like a movie with several possible endings; the player's choices during the game determine which ending actually occurs.

The first Silent Hill was released on the original PlayStation on January 31st, 1999. This is the one that has been adapted for the film, but is slightly modified. For example, the main character is now a woman, named Rose, instead of man named Harry; and the film, from what I've seen in the trailers, also borrows certain elements and characters from the other games, such as "Pyramid Head" (the unofficial name given to him by all gamers who play it. "P. Head" for short,) or as they seem to refer to him in the film, "The Red Pyramid."

The official film synopsis is as follows:
"A woman named Rose finds herself trapped in an alternate dimension as she searches for her daughter in a world of decay inhabited by strange beings. Rose cannot accept the doctor's verdict that her daughter Sharon should be permanently institutionalized for psychiatric care. Over the protests of her husband, Rose flees with her child, heading for an abandoned town to which the child has recurring dreams about. Sharon disappears in the town, and Rose follows what she thinks is her daughter's silhouette into what seems like an ordinary town. It's soon clear this place is not like anywhere she's ever been. It's smothered by fog, inhabited by a variety of strange beings and periodically overcome by a living Darkness that literally transforms everything it touches. Joined by Cybil, a local police officer, Rose searches for her little girl while learning the history of the strange town and realizes that Sharon is just a pawn in a larger game."



Anyway, the plot of the first game goes something like this. Seven years ago Harry Mason and his wife find a baby by the road and adopt her as their own, naming her Cheryl (Sharon, in the movie.) Though the wife soon passes away, Harry continues to love Cheryl as his own daughter. At the start of the game we find Harry Mason and Cheryl driving on their way to the town resort of Silent Hill. It's a dark night, lit only by the lights on the side of the road. A cop on a motorbike drives past and only moments later Harry sees the bike lying by the side of the road and the cop is nowhere in sight. Soon afterwards a figure suddenly appears on the road; Harry turns the car and slides off the road. When he regains consciousness, Harry discovers that Cheryl is missing and he finds himself in the midst of the evil slowly engulfing Silent Hill, "a world of someone's nightmarish delusions come to life."


Silent Hill is an isolated lakeside resort town in the United States which, like many such small towns in horror fiction and movies, is permeated by an ancient power. Demonic and disfigured creatures roam the streets and buildings, and the town continually shifts between everyday reality and a decaying "Otherworld" or "Nightmareworld." In the first two games, the protagonists are drawn to the seemingly abandoned town, for one reason or another; in the third and fourth games, the town reaches out to characters that have some previous connection to it.

Just Finished Reading: Conan Volume 1: The Frost Giant's Daughter And Other Stories and Conan Volume 2: The God In The Bowl And Other Stories by Kurt Busiek, Cary Nord, Thomas Yeates and Dave Stewart. So far, this series has been TOTALLY amazing! The stories are awesome; the art by far is some of the best I've ever seen! I honestly had never had any interest in Conan until now. The main reason I even picked up the book was because I flipped through it and saw how great the art was! Most of the older Conan graphic novels had art that I really didn't care for. Hmm... nope, I guess I do have the defenition of that word correct! The reason for so many of the Emoticons up there at the top is because I'm feeling a mixture of a little of each one right now. The responsible party know's who they are, and I am indeed angry, sad, upset, and feel hurt and betrayed by them. But most of all... I'm disapointed with them. And I have every. Single. Right to feel this way. I'll forgive them, yes, and I still care deeply for them. But now as a result of what they've done I've got to go back to being a little more protective and a little less trusting of everyone else. I also feel like just pasting the entry i wrote on 8/24/05 in here, as it is how I still feel, only ten fold. Anyway, that's all for now. Thanks.

Sort of a rerun... sorry for the swears...
I'm thinking I'm just going to take a break for a while. My inspiration is gone and has been for a while now. I'll be on maybe once a week at best to check out comments and what have you, if anyone feels inclined to make them. Due to the fact I seem to be subconciously screwing up the only important thing in my life, this break may do me good. Has anyone else experienced that? Everything you've ever done in you're life you've only had the best intentions and you do something that normally would be very nice or good and not at all bad... but then somehow you seem to screw it up? You become an asshole without even knowing why? You're only inspiration... for everything... theat one thing you are doing everything for, working toward... is gone and it makes you just want to give up? I'm tired of school and the only reason I stayed was because of something that... hates me now. I haven't drawn anything in over FIVE MONTHS! I used to draw at least one thing EVERY DAY! Why is everything that makes me happy in my life slowly disapearing?! Am I really that big a joke?! Why am I not allowed to be happy?! I haven't drawn anything forever, any and all desire to go into graphic design has been killed by the fucking morons at this shitty school! I'm thinking either I should a) See about transfering to another school location; see if the teachers acctually teach how they should, b) See if I can get into another college, or c) ...Just give up. I've been on edge all week for a number of reasons! I'm ready to just break down! I'm ready to just die. Maybe the world would just be better off without me. I'd be happier if I knew I wasn't fucking up other peoples lives as well. I'm not saying I'm making them miserable with my misery. I'm trying to make them happy and... that's messing everything up somehow. I can't win. Why can't I win? Bleh... sorry everyone for being mister depresso. Don't worry about me, of course. I'm not going to kill myself... 'cause with my luck everything would go great again after I went. None of this is really important, so don't anyone worry. Sort of a rerun... sorry for the swears...
I'm thinking I'm just going to take a break for a while. My inspiration is gone and has been for a while now. I'll be on maybe once a week at best to check out comments and what have you, if anyone feels inclined to make them. Due to the fact I seem to be subconciously screwing up the only important thing in my life, this break may do me good. Has anyone else experienced that? Everything you've ever done in you're life you've only had the best intentions and you do something that normally would be very nice or good and not at all bad... but then somehow you seem to screw it up? You become an asshole without even knowing why? You're only inspiration... for everything... theat one thing you are doing everything for, working toward... is gone and it makes you just want to give up? I'm tired of school and the only reason I stayed was because of something that... hates me now. I haven't drawn anything in over FIVE MONTHS! I used to draw at least one thing EVERY DAY! Why is everything that makes me happy in my life slowly disapearing?! Am I really that big a joke?! Why am I not allowed to be happy?! I haven't drawn anything forever, any and all desire to go into graphic design has been killed by the fucking morons at this shitty school! I'm thinking either I should a) See about transfering to another school location; see if the teachers acctually teach how they should, b) See if I can get into another college, or c) ...Just give up. I've been on edge all week for a number of reasons! I'm ready to just break down! I'm ready to just die. Maybe the world would just be better off without me. I'd be happier if I knew I wasn't fucking up other peoples lives as well. I'm not saying I'm making them miserable with my misery. I'm trying to make them happy and... that's messing everything up somehow. I can't win. Why can't I win? Bleh... sorry everyone for being mister depresso. Don't worry about me, of course. Wednesday at 12:05am my elderly neighbor Roah Mikesell passed away. We all referred to her as "Grandma" though, as she was that close to us. I personally never really knew my real Grandmothers, as my Mom's Mother died when my Mom was only nine and my Father's mother, while I met her, died when I was still very young. So, as a result in place of them I had my Dad's foster mother, Grandma Rose and Grandma Mikesell, whom I've known both of all my life. But with Grandma Mikesell right next-door, it was a much closer relationship. As I said, I've known her all of my life! She used to baby-sit me when I was little. I'd have to say one of fondest memories would also have to be one of my youngest. When she used to tend me we would often go to a small park not to far from my home and after going there, we'd come back and she'd let me have a bowl of Frosted Mini-Wheats, which to me was so uncommon and such a treat as the concept of cereal in the afternoon was so new to me. I can actually remember it! I even remember asking her once why she didn't have any with me. (She had a sensitive stomach.) So it's already been hard thinking of all the things that she did all the time... sitting on her front porch saying hi... offering a piece of candy any time we came over... getting to bring her the first plate of cookies when mom made them... setting up her Halloween and Christmas decorations for her... Birthdays... being there when we ran over to ask if she'd seen either parent if we couldn't seem to find them when we were little... (...actually I did it as recently as Monday afternoon!) ...waking up in the middle of the night and being able to see her kitchen light on from my window, knowing she was up for a midnight snack... watching her head out for her morning or afternoon walks... all of these things and more will never happen again... and It's all very hard for me every time I think about it. I feel glad that I at least got to sit with her before I went to work the day she went, before she was gone. The only thing I regret is not getting to tell her how much she meant to me then, as she was a little out of it. I should have just done so anyway but I didn't. I should have told her days before... but I didn't. So, when I got home at about 12:45 I could see a few cars over at here house, all of the lights on. It was just everyone who had been there looking after when I had gone over earlier, so I felt glad and went inside my house. My dad was still up and I asked him how she was doing and he told me she'd probably make it through the night, though she'd be mad in the Morning if 'they' hadn't come to get her! I laughed at this and went in and got ready for bed. Then at about 12:55 I was sitting on my bed reading, when my dad came in... And informed me she had passed away. Everyone got dressed and went over. My brother Sean and I where the first over and met by one of two of her sons, Richard. He showed us into the room and... That first round of the door frame killed any possibility of doubt. Richard said she had gone peacefully, slowing her breathing, taking three deep breaths with long pauses in between, then was gone. He then left Sean and I alone, as my parents and little brother Sam were still on their way, and sat in silence. I could see Sean was just as tear-struck as I, with the same lump in his throat. Sam, Mom and Dad came in not to long after Richard had left us. We all sat for a while there in silence, my Mom and Dad taking turns consoling each one of us. Richard and Grandma's other son, Leroy came in a few minutes later and let us know they had just finished discussing it... and asked if Sam, Sean, Dad and Myself... would like to be her pallbearers. We accepted and after a while we all went into the living room with everyone else and talked. I didn't talk all that much and eventually went about a ritual according to my parents that I've always preformed whenever at Grandma's since I was a baby... I took visual inventory of everything in the house. When I was little I would just sit quite as can be and scan everything, take it all in. I could point out anything that had been moved or changed. I've done it to this day. ...And this was the last time I was going to do it. So I got up from my chair after surveying the living room... walked through the kitchen... the hallway... and circled right back into Grandma's room. I paused, walked around to the side of her bed, and sat down... Then I talked to her. I told her everything I had wanted to tell her before she went. I still regret not telling her before then, but I know she heard me then. It helped a lot to get that off of my chest. Just finished reading: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling

-Recently saw: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. In comparison to the Gene Wilder version they both have their ups and downs. The Oompa Loompa's weren't as cool in the new one and Johnny Depp's Wonka was a little too creepy and more insane than slightly disturbed as he's supposed to be. Gene Wilder is a much more paternal and warm Wonka (except for the scary tunnel thing.) Depp's Wonka, however, is still hilarious! And there is a part in the new one poking fun at the old when the grandpa leaps out of bed and appears to be about to sing yet instead does a silent, goofy little jig instead that made me laugh so hard! A lot of people thought it was funny simply because of the jig itself, of course, but I thought the underlying joke was priceless! Then again, maybe that wasn't intentional and I'm just insane... Anyway, as a Willy Wonka movie it was pretty good and as a Tim Burton film it rated about the same. I'm glad we've still got 'Corpse Bride' to look forward to in September!

Hope everyone had a good 4th. Saw "War of the Worlds" yesterday. It was a pretty accurate portrayal of how disgusting, sad, and selfish some people would react... and how some do now. On the way home there was so much traffic I had to stop a whole bunch. At one of those stops some drunk asshole ran past and punched in my rolled down window and made contact with my left cheek; just when I was thinking, "What else can go wrong?" I drove the rest of the way home with my doors locked and windows up. I've got a few projects I've been meaning to finish. I'll probably post 'em when I'm done. That's all I've got to say for right now.

Added a photo and poem/song I wrote yesterday (yeah, a poem) to the gallery and few photos to scraps. Got back from camping on Sunday, It was fun. Monday I got a call from work, they said I "wasn't pulling my weight" (Even though I worked my fucking ass off before I left to earn brownie points for the camping trip. The damned manager even walked by a few times and said, "Wow, you're working hard!" Though it's the same moron who said I wasn't pulling my weight, so, wtf?! I mean, I was working eight hour shifts, doing at least two fucking things at a time! Sometimes not even taking a break; I nearly passed out one night! Someone was even standing there when I slammed my hip into the counter trying to grab onto it to stabilize myself!) But, they said they "had to let me go." I don't really care anymore, of course. It's the second time I've been "let go" for reasons that weren't even my own fault! The first was I was called one evening and told I could leave early that night. So I fucking did. Came in the next night and the manager said, "We don't need you anymore because you disappeared last night. No one knew where you were" I told three goddamned people I was leaving that night! I said, "Ok, I'm going." And they said, "Ok! See ya!" Now, you may think it's because I went on this trip only a week and a half after getting that shithole job back that I was released, but I already had the time off lined up before the first firing. *sigh* Like I said, though, I don't really care anymore. A lot more horrible things have been going on lately and this is nothing...

DON'T PANIC

Recently saw: The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy!!! Good lord, what an awesome film! (It doesn't compare to the book, of course; but, what film adaptation of a book ever does?) There was a late '70s/early '80s BBC film version that was just plain shit, though. Don't EVER see it if you haven't read the book first. Actually, don't see it PERIOD. Just DON'T. That film was created with what looks like left-overs from the 'Doctor Who' tv show (which is another travesty to the human race.) So... READ THE BOOK! THEN... go see the film! Holy frick it's awesome!
