me and jim hit our one year anniversary on the 22nd of august and on the 31st of august he asked me to marry him. so i said ok, why not eh? free ring! i kid, i kid. it's pretty awesome stuff, but taking it slow y'know. i know the next couple years are gonna be major shit in my life, and oh man i can't wait. why do i crave responsibility? it's horrible, it's a burden, i must be irresponsible and stupid, i must i must.

family life has been pretty crazy recently, parents nearly split up which was kinda unexpected, but also not surprising. all my dad's fault, he's a wanker, haven't quite forgiven him, but it's getting better. i probably need to get over it, but i've never exactly had the easiest relationship with him. in other news though, my parents have been accepted to foster a little 8 year old girl. apparently she's into hannah montana and taylor swift and a right little girly girl, can anyone say dreading it just a tad? haha.

my art's kinda progressed in a sense. i've not really done much which is a shame, but this summer has been stupidly busy and not just full up with actual responsibilities but also lots of camping, drinking, all nighters and all that other nice stuff. my thought process with art has really changed and i really like my outlook on stuff. so cannot wait to get back to college and start work again, it's the hole that's been missing in my summer - how very lame.

i've been quite inspired recently too. with the presence of this happy me, with this clear thinking me, i've been able to concentrate more on work and even work that isn't related to college, such as my inspiration book. i've also been writing more, singing more, listening to more music and last night i was struck with the desire to play guitar and write a song. i feel like i'm getting on track and it's a pleasant change (: anyway, onto inspirations;

i've started a new personal project recently. on the 29th of october, i decided i didn't take enough pictures and wanted to change that. so i've vowed to take one picture every day for submission here, and on myspace/facebook etc until i reach 365 which will make it the 29th of october 2009. i hope i can keep it up (:
