Just thought I'd mention that I absolutely love music. It just takes one playlist, one CD, one track, and BAM! the memories come back, memories you thought you forgot; memories that were doomed to fade into the background. That music can transport not only your sense of mind, but your whole card catalog of memories is simply astounding. Magnificent. The feelings we have and the memories attached to them are just too grand.

Recalling items from the past through music is so simple to experience, but complex to think about. What was it about Moby's "Porcelain" that makes me feel like I'm travelling? Why does the Japanese ending theme to Kiki's Delivery Service make me feel so warm and sweet, but very lonely? Or that trance music in general takes me back to very experimental thoughts?

Even playing chords can trigger something for me. I love the key of E flat. Something about it is very welcoming and inspiring. Playing a major chord with a major 7th, but as root and fifth and third and seventh in left and right hands respectively fells thoughtful, but not conflicting to me.

Anyway, I thought I'd just put it out there. I love music.

So, after a year of not having a computer, I finally get around to finishing a work... Geezzzz, and it felt odd and wrong and just horrible the whole time. I love to ink the stuff in PS (I used Photoshop 6, and it felt very downgraded... lol), but coloring feels unnatural to me now... Hopefully that'll change!

Anyway, first journal, too. : )

!!!!!

Sparkle Army
