so yesterday, i went to a little event in cheshunt, organized by the expo peeps, to debut my meowth cosplay and enter the masquerade. when i arrived, the roadshow had been on for about an hour so i bought my ticket, changed into my cosplay and went to check out the dealers and the activities. i saw lots of amazing cosplayers, such as ~Esme-Silver, ~GohoshiSuruNyan, ~TheEmoConnor, ~HyperNinjaSakura, :devjehera:, ~Paz1o1, ~Noriko-Elric, ~pink-ringo, ~Toadsanime and *StephUzumaki and bought some things. Only three though, DON'T WORRY.

Mmmkayz, so soon after I'd splurged my moneyz, we sat down to watch the wig cutting tutorial and the competion that followed that, before signing up for the masquerade. Then we returned to the main room and I briefly met the lovely ~Rayman-Havoc before I had to go off yet again. D:

Before we knew it, it was time for the last few activities before the masquerade. There was a posing tutorial and then anime/manga charades. They also announced there would be pictures taken in the lobby for the website and most of the cosplayers ran off to do that. xD I waited til the madness had died down to have mine taken - it was so awesome! *A*

Then it was masquerade time. Joe, the cosplay main man lmao, took us all backstage and lined us up in order. I was in front of ~Mushroom-L who was an awesome Roy Mustang and behind a huuge Naruto group. They were throwing a ball and I nearly got hit on the head multiple times. xD Soon it was time for me to go on stage and it was AMAZING OMG. I didn't win, but all the other cosplayers were great and deserved their awards~ <3

so yeah. :'D overall, it was a great day.

So, as you may have seen, my Meowth cosplay is finished! I still need to get some fake fangs but other than that, everything's done! ^__^ There are about three pictures in my gallery from a mini shoot I had in my extension/kitchen but I'm planning to take some in my garden over the next few days. :'D I've also booked a room at the Novotel from Friday night til Sunday. Apparently it's a great hotel, and I can't wait to stay there.

In other news, I'm going on holiday to Turkey on Tuesday the 4th and returning in two weeks (on the 18th to be precise 8D). I won't be posting anything in that time, so don't think I'm dead or anything. xD

I has risen from the dead!

I've just come back from a trip to Spain with my best friend, Naomi, and I've been busy with school and tests and stuff so I haven't had much time to update since the Expo. D: Sorry!

So, in case you haven't heard, I will be cosplaying the legendary Meowth from Pokemon on both days at the MCM Expo in October 2009. I will possibly be dragging along my friend, who will be cosplaying as Yuki Nagato from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. She's a huge otaku, yaoi freak and Expo n00b, so be nice to her - she has no idea what she going to be in store for. xDD

We're going to stay in a different hotel than the Ibis this time, does annyone have any recommendations? We're thinking the Novotel or Crowne Plaza at the moment. :3

Here, have a Expo journal. 8DD

My Expo journey, if you like, started on Friday. We decided it would be a good iodea to stay in a hotel for the duration of the Expo so we left to go to the Ibis Friday afternoon. The hotel was awesome apart from the fact our room was on the sixth floor and because my mum hates lifts, we had to drag our cases up 6 flights of stairs. xD I was knackered afterwards and was happy the room was so awesome!

Saturday morning, we got up at about half seven, and went down to breakfast where I atleast was entertained by the guys from Uber-Nerd in the queue. I have to say, their costumes were fantastic! Another fantastic thing was the croissants at the Ibis - they were fucking delicious. 8DD Anyways, we had our brekkie and I went to get into my Hikaru cosplay. Then the fun tiemz started. In the queue, I met ~Kitamurin briefly [who looked amazing in her casual loli x3] and we were there for two hours. When the early entry dudes started going in, all the buy-on-the-day dudes started running across the hall, screaming, ignoring the shouts of th Expo staff. It was brilliant. When we finally got out of the queue, I bumped into ~TangleClaw who gave me a biiig hug and tried to steal me LOL - she was so nice and made a great Axel! :'D

Well, when we finally got into the Expo, I died again. xD It was just as awesome as October and the urge to splurge was overpowering, lmao. I bought waaay too much stuff that weekend. <__< My favourite Saturday purchase was definately my blue and white Voodoo Baby cat ears, I love them so much! :3 After a bit of shopping, we went back to chill at the hotel and came back around 3:30 for some final spendingz. Then we came home, had dinner and watched Britains Got Talent.

Then came Sunday, or as I now call it 'Funday'! -lame- We had breakfast, which was yummy as per always, and we headed down to the centre, me in Kagami cosplay. The queue wasn't as big and BAWWW as last time and I saw the cutest kid Naruto taking pictures. >w< So cuuute. I got a goodie bag too which was epic. :'D So we went inside, and this stall owner asked for my photo - that really made my day, she was so lovely! <3 We went to the Team Giblets stall where I ordered a headshot commish of me in my Kagami cosplay - it came out so awesome.

[TBH, I was suprised at the amount of people who wanted to take my photo. o__o; Thank you guys!]

Other highlights of the day included meeting Sasuko, seeing the Linda Hamilton talk and almost winning a Furuba prize and seeing the awesome cosplayers [such as the juggling Dante and the amazing Sailor Neptune!]! It was by far the best day of the weekend.

So, this is probably going to be the last journal before the London Expo as I'm leaving tomorrow. As of today, it is officially 10 days til the London MCM Expo! As you can tell by my squee-filled last entries, I am pretty damn excited!

Is anyone staying overnight for the Expo/coming down on the Friday? If so, some lovely people from the MCM Expo Forums are hosting a pre-expo get together, and we want as many expo-goers to attend. ^__^ If you want to have a look at what's going on and/or attend, you can visit the thread here ([link]) or tell me and I'll tell the people organizing it. x3 Will be fun!

Here's my plan for the weekend....

Late Friday afternoon I'm coming to London and hanging with the pre-con crew outside for a bit ^^

Then on Saturday, I'm having breakfast at the hotel and going in to have look around around the con. At lunch, i'm gonna meet up with some of my friends and having a few photoshoots before looking around more and mebbe going to the Masquerade :3 Then i'm going back to the hotel, maybe meeting some people too <3

On Sunday, i'm pretty much doing the same, only without so many photoshoots 8D Mebbe hanging with my forum mates for a bit before I leave for home late afternoon. ^__^

ANYWHO. I just discovered they sell Mikado/Pocky at Sainsburys. I was out shopping today with meine mutter and I saw these huge signs advertising Mikado outside Sainsburys. Only fucking 59p too! Yayay. 8DD Knowing me, I dragged my poor mother inside and I bought 4 packets. xD So I have a bigass stack of Mikado boxes on my desk all piled up. My dad apparently bought some at Morrisons as he knows I'm a *~*pockywhore*~*. So moar Mikado!

I haven't updated in freaking ages. >w< Sorry about that people!

School has been interesting. One of my best friends (after ), Naomi, has got herself a new boyfriend who interestingly enough is a chav. T___T I know I'm probably gonna sound like an un-supportive bitchface but I think they make an awful couple. No seriously. Obviously she hasn't seen the fact that the guy is a total prick and she's been getting shit all week from the other kids in our year. Don't get me wrong, he's kind of sweet to her, but the guy's a right prat - they've been going out for about 4 days and he fucking made out with her on day 2. You may be thinking 'what's this bitch ranting about, it's normal' but clearly you don't know that they're both thirteen. He also touched her chest (no seriously. he fucking grabbed it) on day 3, resulting in me screaming profanties such as "PERVERTED BASTARD!" and causing him to lose all respect for me (he had little already).

Anyways, cosplaaay. I've finished my Hikaru cosplay and my Kagami is on the road to completion! I've just purchased the socks (after shopping around for ages, seriously who knew finding white knee-highs was so tedious?!) and the skirt is looking good. I might post some photos soon. >w< I'm really interested in taking part in a photoshoot at the May Expo. ^__^ If anyone would happily book me in for one, that would be brilliant, I'm available all day both days (inc. Friday) apart from between 12 and 2 pm on the Saturday as I have an OHSHC and Crossplay shoot between then. On Saturday, I'm coming as Hikaru Hiitachin from Ouran High School Host Club and on Sunday Kagami from the anime Lucky Star.

Also, I have created two Steampunk versions of my characters, Carlie Theobald and Jakob Lewis and possibly of Mark Ridgely. x3 I'm thinking of putting the sketches up in case anyone wants to use them as cosplay ideas. I may go as the Steampunkie version of Tasha Theobald in May or October next year. If you would like see the sketches, please comment on here or send me a note and maybe we can gather a group for next year. Here is a short personality description of my characters and I'll put a few chapters of my novel in which Carlie, Jake, Mark and Tasha appear in.

Carlie - The typical sarcastic young adult. Her sarcasm but inner kindness hides a deep secret inside of her. Carlie is the kind of girl who makes snide remarks but everyone knows they're not to be taken to heart. Carlie was a sufferer of child abuse when she was 12. Carlie has long, wavy blonde hair and emerald green eyes.

Jake - Jake is a quiet, 'emo', suffer-in-silence type who has a warm heart despite this. He wears his dark hair combed over his suprisingly bright blue eyes. He walks with a slight limp, with his hands normally in his pockets or at his side. He wears a pair of off-white bandaids due to an accident in which his hands were burned when he was younger.

Mark - Mark is flamboyant, over-confident and sometimes hurtful with this. He is gay, and Carlie's best friend, despite their frequent fights. He has reddish-brown hair with a thick side fringe covering his forehead. He has extremely attractive violet-grey eyes that are said to make guys AND girls melt. (Note: Any potential cosplays may want to consider contacts to replicate his eyes)

So today I did a tiny bit more work on my cosplays. Now my Kagami top is done and the top of my Chimchar is finished too. ^__^ -sense of achievement plz- Oh and does anyone in the UK know where I can get a red pleated skirt? I'm struggling, dammit! Dx

When I was out shopping today, I got 3 mangas [yay for special offers in Waterstones! 8D], some totally amazing reddy-pink sparkly legwarmers from Primark and, for my birthday, volume two of The Melachony of Haruhi Suzumiya on DVD. I LOVE YOU SISTER EVEN THOUGH YOU DON'T KNOW YOU'VE GOT IT FOR ME. :'D

OMG, the cast list for Warriors on IMDB is so fake. D: Okay, Elijah Wood is perfect for Firestar. <3 Seriously, that's the best choice EVER. Rihanna would suck as Bluestar and Chris Brown as Graygray sounds like an epic failure. Dx

Anyways. -ends caps- Here is a basic re-cap of my saturday.

I got up at 7 [as usual] and had my breakfast, before changing into the clothes and bracelet of my Kyo cosplay. Then at 8:15, we left the house for the station where we caught a train to Kings Cross.

When we were at Kings Cross, we caught a train to Bank, but not after squealing at the little dogs and pigs in the toy shop window - hell yes. ;3 It wasn't many stops to Bank, so all was good. -thumbs up-

Woot, we were at Bank. The first sign of Exponess I saw was two nerds in front of us - one had an Inyusha badge on his rucksack. xD So we got to the platformy-thing, we saw COSPLAYERS! And Peace and Unity people. Who were like 'LOLWUT? O_o'. Anyways, we made our way over to a space [the platform was kinda crowded] next to a guy with epic green jeans and eyeliner (<3) who was shouting to his friends 'YOU LOST THE GAME!' - I loled. We got on the DLR and after picking up some hyper lolis and a Naruto cosplayer we were there.

OMG WHEN WE GOT INTO THE EXPO, there were LOADS of cosplayers. I put my wig on and we got to the actual con quiite quickly.

I got some great photos and bought some great things, then went outside to see the photoshoots - I got recognized twice in a few minutes. ^^ Then I got hugged by a few Toyko Mew Mew cosplayers who were screaming 'KYO!' at me - my mum's face was priceless.

Then we got some food, took some more photos and I MET ROWAN! She ran up, screamed WILD and glomped me! <3

It's called Murusaki Bracelet and it's about Airi and Itsuki, two high-school students in the same school who barely notice each other, until they both find a shining purple bracelet - which the wearers of becomes the rulers of a mysterious land full of magic and jeopardy. But Itsuki and Airi are being hunted by a beautiful citizen of the land who wants the power to rule - Ume.

So, we end up in London [Yay <333] and we hang around St Pancras for a while - I love it there. <3 I saw an awesome black t-shirt with 'Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer' on it in white and an awesome badge to match. I don't think it was for sale though./ Darn. T__T So, we get on the tube and go to Holborn. 8D

When we're in Holborn, we walk up and see the theatre we're going to to see Hairspray. <3333333333 I had a mini-fangirl fit [They had a neon Hairspray can 8D] and we walked down a few roads to find a place to have a bite to eat. =3 We settled for Caffe Nero [A pwnsome coffee shop] and me and my sister, Skysong had a juice while my mum and dad had coffee.

After that, we walked down to Covent Garden. But uh-oh. I started to feel sick. ;__; So, we looked in a few boutiques then decided we'd call it a day.

But wait. When we were going back to the train station, I decided I'd risk my sickness to go see Hairspray. My parents and Skysong were happy, so we went and got some yummy pizzas in Pizza Express. ^^ By the time we'd finished and paid, we walked to the theatre - and the magic started there. <333

When we walked in, I nearly died. There were people everywhere, and me and my mum had to elbow our way to the merchandise booth. I saw the best t-shirt ever and my mama got it. It says I LOVE LINK on it. I'm so wearing that everywhere from now on. <33333333 Skysong got a black t-shirt [but mine pwns hers T_T] and we went to sit down. :3

The show was amazing. 8D When the curtain went up, I started grinning so hard. I sang along to the songs, laughed at the funny bits and clapped so hard my hands hurt. [Once, I clapped longer than everyone else o_O] And at the end, I got pissed off as the tall dude in front of me stood up so I couldn't see. D:

Eeee, the Link actor was so hot. :3 He was on this reality show I watched last year, and my has he blossomed since them. I was thinking, "Homg, when did he got so cute? -linkified moment-" xDDD

My mum got me a poster for my room, and then we all went home, and arrived at about 11.00pm. At about quarter to midnight, I finished my book and hot chocolate Mum had made me and went to sleep.

It's about a ginger tabby, a black cat, and a gray cat. They are best friends, and live comfortably in a human house. Wolfy, the gray cat, always longed for a taste of the wild and when her owners move away and their neighboured is destroyed, her, Wild (ginger cat) and Bright (Black cat) are forced to live with a group of vicious feral cats - or die.

First, we said bye to my mum and went to the library to have a chat and look at the books. BP obsessed over David Tennant (xD) and we went after we'd spent some time there.

Next, we went to the sweet shop. I bought some Starburst and BP bought about 7 lollipops, lol! We then attempted to go to H&M, but spotting some people I don't like, we decided not to.

Then, We went into the main part of town. We got some chocolate lollipops in Thorntons, then BP took me to this epically cool pasty shop. We were the only people there, but the pasties were AMAAAAZING! Once we'd finished, BP showed me this pwnsome shoeshop and a cute shop selling plushies and cute magnets and stuff. ^^

Then, we went to Boots and I drew a green heart on BP's face with this eyeliner/eyeshadow like thing. My watch stopped working and we had to ask the shop assistant the time - BP still had a heart on her face. xDDDD We then went to Clintons. I bought BP a little bear with 'Best Friend' on it and I got a rubber duck. 8D

We then went to HMV, said hi to my sis, looked in the bookshop for a bit and then tried on some clothes. I'll put the pics up soon.

After buying some more sweets and some stuff in Claire's, it was time for me and BP to go home.

Anyhowza, It be snowing again! BD I haven't been in it yet. Darn. I should be going out soon though! It's all lush, white and... probably freaking cold. D:

I'm going through some OMGILOVEARTICMONKEYS faze at the moment. They have the coolest accents ever. Sheffield has awesome accents. OMG CHRIS FOUNTAIN IS FROM THERE TOO. <3333 I think. o.o

My siamese kitty is so sweet. I love him, but he's getting spayed. ): Meh, whateverrr.

Well, it did.
I woke up as usual and ran downstairs, and saw it was snowing. I logged on my computer, and took a glance out of the window to see the snow was lying! I was like, "WTH?"
So I got dressed, had breakfast, got my camera, and ran out into the snow with my labrador. I took some pics, they can be seen on my flickr and will be posted here ASAP, and played with Blaze the dog. He ATE my snowballs. o_O;

Weird dog. xD

Then I went inside and had my easter eggs. <333

The snow has melted now, bummer.

Yep, Sorry it's a day late. D: I had such a fabulous day yesterday. I got a fabulous new 12-megapixel digital camera, a dark gray, shiny Kodak. *squeee* I've used it so much, and taken quite alot of pictures of my animals, my family, etc. I'll post them up when they are all up on the PC. ^^
I've discovered a new love for digital artwork and graphic-making with my Photoshop Elements 5.0 I got for my birthday on the 4th of December. I'm not very good at the drawing-on-the-computer part yet, but I think I'm improving - I'm quite proud of my piece of work, 'Teardrops'. It's of my anthro cat-self and Furcadia character, Wildstar, or Wild, those of you who didn't know that. (Although quite alot of you do! <3)
Big fans of the movie Hairspray might like to check out my new piece of artwork of Link Larkin, the utterly, totally fabulous male lead. Any of you who know me on WW, or IRL, will know about my absoleutly huge obsession with him. :3
I might be running a contest soon, to find the best artist of my cat-self, Wild. She can be seen in many of my artwork. Wild is a ginger tabby with gold eyes. She wears a gold medallion, with LL engraved on it. Watch this space for more information! ^^
