Its been a while...

Well it's been a while since I've updated. I shamefully admit that my camera hasn't had as much use as it should have had this year. Sunday being probably the first time I've taken it out somewhere with me this year at all! I've been a very busy bee, I worked as a Veterinary Nurse for a year, but although the job was nice, I couldn't deal with the shitty people and the equally shitty pay! The company I worked for was terrible, they really didn't care about their nurses at all. But thats gone now. I am currently setting up my own company, it's going slow at the moment, but as soon as my website is up everyone will know about it!

Another reason for my lack of updates is because I have a new computer now (well it was new at christmas!) and my copy of photoshop has gone on awol, so I've avoided posting up any un-edited images, which means none of my New Zealand pictures have been posted up! They are somewhere on a network drive....somewhere in the house, and as soon as I get photoshop again I will get round to sorting through them. The pictures I uploaded today have been edited (badly) with Irfanveiw, but after looking through some of the pictures of Spinky and Pinky I felt I really needed to post something up that I was pleased with for once.

Spinky and Pinky

Well we got the kittens yesterday! They are lovely, of course there are already pictures of them up in the gallery. Spinky and Pinky, they are Bengals, and what lovely Bengals they are too! Spinky is the female snow spotted one and Pinky is the male brown marble one.

*MrPinkyCat and I are really happy, they have settled in well, Pinky, being male, is of course exploring everything and wanting to see how high he can get and whats behind this and oooh what happens in i jump on this. Spinky being smaller and female is rather timid at the moment but is calming down and getting used to things well. Awww but they are just so lovely!

English Summer Rain

Thank god! Finally! Some nice, cool, refreshing rain! As much as I loved our days out in the sun at the weekend, sleeping had become terrible Anyways, I have enjoyed the sun. It's been very nice and warm. Michael and I have been to Thorpe Park and dragster racing this weekend, it has been fun, I've got some car pictures I'm gonna upload at some point. I'm really hoping my jet car picture turned out ok because that was a bloody fast car.

Anyway I'm doing good and happy at the moment. Michael and I are getting a kitten, which make me very very happy indeed. We are going to visit her at the weekend, but we can't bring her home til July 22nd. Although thats a while away I can cope with that, I'm very content with the knowledge that we will be getting her. I'll see if we are allowed to take some pictures of her on Saturday. She is a lovely snow spotted Bengal. I can't wait ^_^

Now I'm going to stand by the window and bask in the lovely cool air.

Well I finally got round to uploading some of the pictures that were took. I'm getting a bit annoyed at myself lately though, most of my pictures come out blurry because my hands are shaking all the time, which is annoying.

Post Birthday Mood

Well since the birthday thing is over I've now got to get round to the things that I said I'd do after my birthday. Ah, what a procrastinator I am, but they have to be done now. I'm planning to have lots done before I go back to university, and that time is running out, so I need to hop to it. The main things I need to do is:

Get a job - Currently updating my CV, so I've at least started on that

Learn to drive - Hum, well I started doing that but then we stopped for some reason, I'm waiting on Michael to find out who is best for me at the moment, I'm hoping to be driving before I go back home in September.

Do some studies to get me back into the learning mood - Again, I started this...I'll get back to it soon....

Get fitter - Ah, I am doing this, more walks, and hopefully bike rides soon. Where we live is such a pretty place ^_^

Hum, that seems enough for now.

Michael and I went for a walk through the local park last night. It was very pretty, it was like a park should be, up in Merseyside parks consist of some swings and chavs, so they are mostly avoided. The park we went to last night had a canal and a stream going through it, there was alot of woodland to it, some beautiful trees, a play area, a alot of playing field and a paddling pool for the summer. It was so pretty, I took some pictures but haven't had a chance to look at them yet, so may upload some to DA later if theres anything decent.

Birthday Mood

So my 19th was yesterday. It was probably the nicest birthday I've ever had. It started like most, I get woke up by my mum and brother who gave me a few presents. Then I went round to see my nan. Then my mother and I went into Liverpool to do some shopping (granted all we got was a t-shirt for my brother which said "I poke badgers with spoons" it fitted him so well...) then we went for a meal at Nando's, which is my new favourite chain resturant. We just chatted and it was very nice. After, I got the train down to Michael's, we went for such a lovely drive to a resturant, it was such a warm evening, perfect for the Caterham. We know the owners of the resturant, so we had a nice long chat with them and had a lovely meal. Best damn steak I ever had. Then chatted some more and drove back, it was still warm. It was just such a nice day. Nothing massively big happened in it, it was just so nice and happy, I'm still smiling so much from it

Michael got me a ipod too, which surpised me alot, I really wasnt expecting anything like that as a present from him. I know your going to read this, so thank you very much honey for making my birthday so special

This weekend should be fun, 3 of my friends are coming down to stay then we are going out into London. I'm rather excited about it ^_^

Alright! So this weekend me and my Fiancee, Michael went on a trip with the Lotus 7 Club of Hertfordshire to York! It was great fun! Nice roads, occassional bit of sun, lots of silly Catherhams and all that kind of stuff. Very tiring but great fun. I've uploaded 2 pictures from that, most of the time when I went ot take a picture when we were driving we went over a bump so I got lots of blurry ones. Michael got a new wideangle lens last Friday, we took my camera to York because it has a smaller body, so I got to play with his new lens mostly, he let me bring it home with me too so I can mess around with Scamper, my dog, and perspectives, I'm loving it! Anyways, it's my birthday soon, I shall be 19, which always seems so much older than 18, I'm really looking forward to it because a few of my friends are coming down to Watford to stay with me and Michael, then we are heading out into London for some fun things Should be a good one this year ^_^

I also bought myself a subcribtion to this today, I felt I was thinking seriously enough about stuff to make it worth it. I'm mostly just messing around with my new settings now, always fun.

Ok so I have completely removed anything on here before yesterday, it was either crap or just not needed anymore. I spent most of today editing my pictures and loading them up. Although I have improved alot over the past year, I know I still have a long way to go. Comments would still be appriciated though.
