I'm Leaving Deviantart

I cant really give that much reason but simply that im loosing interest.

As someone said earlier this month, people like us have to work for our comments and page views. I dont see commenting on other people's work as a bad thing, but that is the way of the DA, its so large that you have to fight to be noticed.
I honestly dont think I want to do that. I want to be noticed but I dont want a world to know.

Also, I come here to better my art, and comments nowadays are just not the type of comments that can make me better. Nearly none suggest ways of improving or any reasons why its 'cool' or 'wow' ..... every comment I make I try to state why I like it and what i like best, if possible, what i think could be improved on.
It's these comments i like most. Not "omg i love +fav".. or "wow sooooooo cool" ... and favs without comments. I really no like those. Esp it just doesnt feel right if that person has 3459489594 favourites already and then they favourite like half your gallery. It just really doesnt mean much anymore when people do that.
I personally make it a point to not favourite a piece unless I absolutely Love it. After nearly 3 years of being here i have 100 favourites.They can be called my loved pieces of Deviantart.

Either way, I adore DA... There isnt too much wrong with DA, besides the inflow of evil people who have nother better to do but spam everything.

Im sorry to all my Trades/Collabers.. I will not be doing those... I just honestly have lost interest in a lot of art forms. Not to mention school pressures.

Id just like to thanks all my watchers and people who comments. I take all comments to heart , even the 'wow..soooooooo coool' ones. Most favs I take seriously and appreciate them...


I'm not going to be posting any art (unless it directly has anything to do with Deviantart) and will be deleting a lot of my gallery, I will keep Some of the pieces that i love most - Which means not always the ones that get most comments/favs.

But I will still keep my watches and I will come and comment from time to time.

I havent had an idea or stock photo suddenly spark something in me to make a piece.

Urgh.. the one thing i hate... being blamed and scolded for something that i didnt do.. esp if it is related with food.
Like the mercies suddenly dropping in numbers over the last 3 days... I HAVE HAD 3 MERCIES SO FAR!!!!! ... It was hugo!!!!!

Hugo the lazy ass who doesnt have a job..isnt in school and is at his gf's house every friday+saturday... who leaves ALL the washing he makes (how the HELL does he use so much shit to cook lunch) to me and my dad..who gets pissed at the slightest things... starts scolding me for it.. and all his shit.. >.< ...

Third Night - A lot of little kids came up and we had music and we were all playing... and some secondary school kids came.. and we had to entertain them...then at around 10:20 when msot of the kids had gone.. we went down to get more BBQ shit.. and drank a little.

Its been a long time since i wrote here, like....lol 14 days..haha thats 2 weeeks!! (oh noess!!!!oneoneeleven).

Quite a bit has happened. Rugby Season is over -SHIT... ><
ITS GETTING COLD!!!! im wearing quite a lot of layers and my hands are still freezing.
My brother has his Green water cooling installed and FINALLY working.
I got an email from a Teacher asking if i was OK - not sick - strangely comforting but weird.

Ive been off school for a while now - Havent been to school since the 13th - Tuesday. And am off till friday (tomorrow).
Its a nice excuse to use: THE MIGHTY WTO
Since many people have actually not been going to school because of it.
Its all blown out of proportion... The violence only lasted like 3 minutes on Tuesday... fuck me!

On wednesday went out with Eugene to WanChai to take pictures..
I met him at around 11:20 - Slowly closed in our death date: Had MC D's for breakfast.
Ate for ages... got out of there at around 12...
Took the tram thinking - to Wan Chai.. but it closed and stopped at admiralty cause of the road closing.. lol we sat there for like a minute wondering why we werent moving... hehe.
Got off...walked down through Wanchai - He took me to a 'pro-retriever' pet shop in Wan Chai...
They were soooo adorable - the puppies. One was a girl and the other a guy..and the girl was getting squashed by the guy..cause we were putting our hands on the glass and they were pawing at it... together.. and the guy dog snatched the girl's toy away They were so fat and fluffy

We walked on through Wan Chai - Got stopped by a lady and an old woman.. and they were asking how to get to the excelsior.. haha... with all the roads closed..haha Eugene told em not to take the MTR and they were like 'ohhh yeahhh it might get bombed... since its the WTO' so.. haha they finally decided to take a cab - shesh. Since walking 20 minutes was way too much.

Walked through the Wan Chai Market and got some presents... and then browsed through the Wan Chai Computer mall.

Finally me and Eugene got on the Flyover bridge into the immigration towers... there were so many guards and so many fences and barriers... you had to line up to get anywhere near...
and of course Eugene comments that he likes the police's Gloves and wants to take em... that they are 'very YING' ...
Anyway..so its like 1pm now.. and im meant to meet viv at 2pm..
so we walk..and we see a MASSIVE crowd of Riot Control police... haha in a whole clomp in the middle of the road

BUT there were no riotiers!! ... So they kept having to move out of formation to let the traffic pass...lol.
we stood around for ages to see if anything happened..

Eugene got cold (even though wearing THREE LAYERS ALREADY) and had to wear me sweater..hahaha

Left, ate lunch and went off with Viv to ZI Bandroom.

my oh so interesting wednesday - Eugene and I both agreed that we had accomplished nothing!

Gosh it really has been a while..
a WHOOPING 18 minus 7 days!! .which is like 11 days.
Scary.

Well first things first..
I went to NOFX.. which was totally awesome
regarding that I am not a huge fan of NOFX..
It was still prety darn good.

Maybe one day ill write more.. thoguh it wasnt the most spectacular moment for me... so i dont think ill bother.. .just settle that it was good.

Today and yesterday was both rugby matches.. we are getting better!!

Though today on our first kcik to them.. i ran up fast and was about to tackle this little girl while she was catching our kick.. but then her elbow was at my face height and i got her elbow in my mouth/nose area..

Chipped my tooth and was bleeding in my mouth and nose..

then later int he game i was about tot ackle someone and then her arm was held up so i got it in the neck...
I dont remember much of it..

I just remmeber lying ont he floor stunned..and then starting to cry and then feeling the pain.. gripping my throat i tried to breathe... i couldnt suck in and no one knew i was down.. since the girl i got tackled got injured.
so since i couldnt breathe and i was so scared i screamed.. and screamed as long as i could..
I have no idea why i did..and then i hear things like 'oh my god.. is hse okay..' and aparently the other team ran off..

and I dont really remember this myself.. but aparently Louise S came and tried to move me since i was on ym side to see what was wrong.. and i just happened to scream again when she moved my arm.. so she thought i had injured my arm.. and got frekaed out and the other louise and everyone were like ;dont touch her!!!?!?!?!!!!" heh... but yeah..finally clarky cam eover.. and i was calming down. .and finalyl started breathing again....

I felt really stupid afterwards.. for screaming and for crying. .since hte sharp pains went away in a few minutes.. so i started laughing on the floor and people were like ;'wtF??!' so yeah..got up and told clarky i still wanted to play..
and i did..

I love rugby.

Yay Today I got to meet Viv.
I met him friday night, but it was only for a short while...
to watch wallace and gromit. We were both exhausted and I had just came to Festival Walk from rugby. So I was in my kit and everything. I was also really late *cringe* ...
Sorry!! We missed some weird intro thing that had the 3 penguins from Madagascar... Weird.. had something to do with christmas.

Well today we just had some lunch at Dai Ka Lok... As always. Char Siu Fan for us as usual. Hehehe.. It was funny cause Viv was there already when i was still on the bus and as we came out of the tunnel thing from jardeens onto connaught road central I saw him ..haha we were on the phone at the time . was funny.

I asked Riz why its about the end of the world suddenly. .and he's all like:

x- Cynthia and Dixon couldnt get through the border, since dixon forgot his wallet and Cynthia's home going pass expired a few days before - so Kamy had to go back to fetch them.
x- The bus ride from HK to Qing Yuen is a 4 and a half hours
x- Aaron is offically the nicest guy i know.
x- Cynthia doesnt have a mean bone in her entire body.
x- We slept on boards on the first night
x- I hate Anandi more then i did before the trip
x- I love everyone else much more then before the trip.
x- The toilet was a dirty squat toilet Which i dubbed the abysmal black hole of death, It got clogged on the last day because someone put a giant glob of tissue into it and we had to go next door to beh beh's to use their toilet.
x- The shower was in the same room as the toilet and was basically a gas heater, low pressured, shower head. It was scary, and it was cold.
x- We taught 5 different schools in total: Nam On - 30 minutes walk away. Bei An - A bumpy funny truck ride up the mountain. Ho Kueng - 15 minutes walk away. Secondary School - 5 minutes walk away. Hei Mong - 5 minutes walk away.
x- We called the naughty students ' Rectal Sphincters '
x- We lost both Basket ball matches
x- Derrick got hot with Nicolesee
x- Everytime I told people that i was sleeping in the same dorm as Anandi they would hug/shake my hand and tell me good luck (ashley would go 'gong hei fat choi' )
x- Anandi got so pissy when i refused to delete the picture of her sleeping.
x- My god Anandi is annoying and ugly - I realised it so much better by seeing her sleep and when she just wakes up.
x- I got a new bra
x- We taught the kids either: Fruits + Vegetables, Transport or Head shoulders knees and toes.
x- I took 364 pictures in total.
x- We set of a total of 92 blasts of fireworks only costing us 240 RMB (about 232 HKD) . We sat on the roof of the boys dorm to enjoy them. Dixon, Eugene, Aaron, Derrick and Louisianne Were snuggling on the roof cause it was cold.
The fireworks are so beautiful. I brought mini firecrackers back with me SHHH its illegal.
x- Aaron, i swear, got addicted to strepsils.
x- THE FOOD IS AMAZING!!!!!
x- Anandi is soooo stupid, she didnt try any food. So what if you are vegetarian. Every meal we got 3 Vegetables and 2 meats. TONS OF VEGETABLES.. she ate none. On the last night she only ate the Eggplant cause Eugene mtold her it was good. I think she likes Eugene, she said he was Hot.
x- The most amazing food = Long mushrooms wrapped in beef and with the most amazing sauce. SOOO GOOD.
x- We had Dim Sum on the last day : Yau Zha Gwai, Cha Siu Bao, Siao Mai, Spring Rolls, egg custard buns (shaped like clams), BBQ Pork Chueng Fun, Congee, Dao Foo Fah, Mini eggtarts...... SOooo many more. Sooooo good!

Oh my GOD i ache sooo much. And it hurts to laugh.

Lets start with wednesday. highlight: In Biology we disected a Kidney Anandi was so pathetic.. I mean i dont mind if you are squeemish and dont wanna do it, but theres no need to make it a big deal and scream and squeel all the time.. I told her off .. Urgh. Im really starting to get so irritated by anandi on the smallest things.. Shesh La... shes so damned annoying in everything.. she regards 80% a fail.. a B a fail.. its bloody annoying. I swear she tries to make up for her social deficit and looks by doing great acedemically. Shes such a text book person.. She was telling me that she would revise today because shes on holiday over half term. Whats there to revise?!

I wonder if she has any fun in life.. She does tend to invite herself to things as well.. according to Karina she just showed up to a beach party they had. .and she invited herself to wallace and gromet yesterday with the 'group'. Havent heard anything about that yet. Will be fun to hear.

Also at the start of the year she boasted about in her old school all the boys went after her and they all adored her (maybe it was her money ) and anyone who has seen her..will NOT believe that. She also said that she won all her tennis matches int he interschool matches and sammy then tells us that she lost all of them instead.. shesh.
Shes so annoying and weird and ... bleh.

thursday. I mised gym to finish off my economics coursework. .It took forever! But we still get to work on it over half term even though it was due on friday. Mr Faulkner.

On friday, went to school.. had BIO first thing, Forgot my crap.. i dunno why.. it just didnt occur to me that i had biology. But mrs Wightman (ms gore damnit) was nice - surprisingly - and just said give it to me after half term. and blah blah blah.. give my coursework to Mr Faulkner... ICT exam. .boring.. finished early. .who knows what happened..
Then D&C Oh i hate Mr Dewick.. Hes such an opposite to Mr Harding.. Mr Harding got involved with what you were doing..asked you questions.. knew what we were doing. would help at the drop of a hat.. but.. Mr Dewick.. i swear he doenst even know what our projects are. Its sooo crap.. No one likes him. hes such a butt hole.. .
Then bio again.. ML was being such a bastard..MC was nice for once.
Maths test.. la la.. wasnt too bad.

DAMN YOU EUGENE!! Evil boy of hell. .skived on thurs and fri.. jsut cause of art and econ.. Dont like you anymore ... Will tell all your secrets!! mUAHAHAHAH
Nah.. i wont.. That would be horrible.

Rugby..oh Dear Rugby. Tash and Kay came today..Anandi seems to have given up rugby.. i dont honestly care.. i asked her to join to get her pulverised.. blah blah really.
Practice was okay untill we played with the A team (we were the younger B team) with touch..and my GOD they are so whiney. "ohhh i touched her!! oohhhhhh why didnt she stop!! " and they only touched with one hand.. its a 2 handed touch!! "ohh they didnt get back 5 meters" sheh...ED already scrapped the 5 M rule.. We never really got round to tackle.. since no one wanted to do it. .it was too tiring for a practice.

Games.. A team played first.. played the SIS A grade Team. With 2 manities. Or as Clarky says "3 times the size of a normal house" I mean i swear they were sisters or twins..they were both identical in looks and size.. they were MASSIVE. Well its been an aching 3 days.
ON thursday i had Gym which was good.. ran a lot.
Friday - rugby which was really a highlight..

Tackled Ed, mike, louise twice, ching, everyone.
Ed was funny to tackle down.

I was running to tackle mike, he paniced, threw ball and turned.. my jaw hit his shoulder.. started bleeding.. only a little.

Louise was running along the wing, naomi was running after her.. I was along side.. i ran straight for her and she saw me, paniced and flung the ball.. hit me square in the face..
such a great coincidence.


Saturday. Viv had lunch, watched.
Met up with anandi, vicky, nat, ceilidh at IFC. I was surprised that nat, anandi, ceilidh came. Vicky has come before..not surprise with her. Like her company.

Anandi was being whiney as usual.

Show sucked butt. No crowd what so ever. AHHH So pooey.. Me the only one singing and BAH was fustrating.. we went out there for nothing.

Walked miles back to the bus stop.. caught the 111.. was a crowded bus. I sat with viv upstairs 2 seater..the rest sat somewhere together behind us. No gossip for Viv
Riz messaged me on how was the sound of the show. I messaged back "insturments - lovely, vocals too soft, your timing - bad" so he messaged back 'my timing' and i was about to reply when someone calls - unknown number. "hello??" "hey chantal this is riz" and he asked about which bit of the timing he was screwey at. I replied.. wasnt too sure. was it detach me or refuse..cant remember. it was one of his 2 note solo things.

That Fucking phone call released hell on earth.

I dont think I know him well enough for it to be okay to call me without any need. But thats my problem. I cannot just say dont call me, cause then thats the end of any chance of talking to him or getting design jobs.

SEPTEMBER 20TH IS VIV AND I'S ANNIVERSARY!!!!!! - tomorrow!



Wow, this second year seems to have passed so quickly.
Probably from my exams and his work.

Ooooooooo. I cant believe I didn't remember till about an hour ago.
I guess without even realising it, last night's sleep over was a type of celebration.
I completely adore Viv (yes you, viv).
Right now, I wouldn't give this feeling away for anything.
Im not even sure what Im feeling. But I LVE it!!

Last night after I left DB and becky (will talk about that later), I went over to Jordan because he was there with sundeep. We walked over to Temple street (yau mah dei) to see if the hawkers were still open. But they weren't, though we did find a lot of yummy graffiti. We walked all the way to Prince Edward (3 MTR stations away) and then took the MTR to Tsuen Wan to go to the band room.
Set up the computer, the air con, bed and everything and lay back and watched some conan o' brien late nights. Slept.. I woke up at like 8 and it was rather a miracle.. i didnt need to go to the bathroom. Nearly every time i wake up in the morning busting for the toilet (the bandroom itself doesnt have a bathroom inside, its a public one along the hall ( which is outside) and its only a male one since they've lost the key to the girls bathroom.
So i either have to hold it or wake Viv up and wait 5 minutes to let him get ready and get dressed and the trudge out with me to the bathroom.. Which honestly is torture for me. Esp when you're busting for the toilet.
I've ran out on 2 occasions by myself up to the roof and went to the bathroom I dont dare go to the male toilet alone. .Since tsuen wan isnt that safe, esp without Viv. Since the bandroom is like in a middle of those storage factory buildings. Old OLD ones.
Anyway so i get back to sleep and we are woken up by Viv's phone at 10. AD people. More conan o' brien. Leave, have zha Lueng. YUM!! My new found love!

So.. back to DB.. id just say read ~idecay's journal.. Explains most of my part.
Though I'm glad to realise that Micah was never the guy i thought he was.. I thought he was such a geek and like broadway fanatic.. but hes actually quite cool!
First impressions arent everything.

Those bands.. think of how many shirts they sell, how much bandmerch they sell and how much they profit..
these 'big' bands.

Name me 5 artists that you know that make the shirts from the big big bands..
and we'll see how we get by the exposure crap.
You give them all your rights to the piece, they can print it on anything. Who says they will keep your name on it, let alone if you put your name on it they wont take it off.

You give them all the rights to your art and you get a measely $200-$500 Bucks.
