Whoooo's Back from the GRAVE?!


Okay, so nowww i'm really kinda actually back, as you can see from SUBMITTED DEVIATIONSSS GWUAHAHAHAHA!! keke - I hope later on I can put in more, since I have been neglecting DA for so long. I do have four months of summer, but I will be leaving for Taiwan, then Japan on July 8th until August ...something. BUT You can expect more landscape images from there then!

I'm studying @ UofGuelph presently, majoring in studio art, but I might be transfering sometime next year. Aside from that, maybe next year I'll have some time to do some stocks while I'm studying ^.^

I haven't been able to reply to the gazillion comments, but I appreciate them! and I'm still approving any notes/favouriting all the wonderful artwork (they make my day nice and shiny)

Personal Facts

So I realize that I haven't added anything at all in two months and a bit, which is fairly long for me anyways! I'm still alive, as you can see from here and from my poppin in once in a while, so..yay!

I'm especially sorry that I haven't been able to reply to everyone who's added and favourited my artwork/me! I hope you all know that I do appreciate of your supportive action, and hopefully - if life will give me some time to add more things onto my DA later!

I came back from Alaska a while ago, and might I say that it is a BEAUTIFUL state. It's very, very earthy and everywhere is nature. if you get a chance to go see something completely different, go there!

School started and since it's my last year, I have been working hard to keep my marks up and start building on a portfolio! Yes - I will be going into fine arts for now, but I actually have no idea what I will be doing in the future. Maybe a forensic artists? or have I been watching too much CSI?

I've been sleeping around 10:30-11pm...BE PROUD

This is the first year in my life where I didn't feel like I was wasting my days. It feels great. I feel great! life is great..my boyfriend is great! you're great! we're all a happy great group...

As for upcoming stock photos - I can't guarantee there will be any soon, but I'll try. there have been some personal requests, so I'll be working on that first, but a) I'm not a very great multi-tasker so I won't be able to juggle academics, social life, and all my hobbies together in a bundle.. and b) My inspiration hasnt kicked in yet.

Yay! I'm back from Vancouver and San Francisco. It was wonderful! I bought a lot of new stuff (necklace, sweater, SOCK) so soon 'nough I'll be feeling for another photoshoot. Mmh, but for the moment, I'm sick with a fever so it's going to have to wait.

For some odd reason (I'm believing that DA is under construction or something of that sort), I'm not able to post, favourite, or comment to anyone How terrible! If anyone has any idea what's up, I would love to hear them out. It's been a month of summer, and I did NO ARTWORK whatsoever. What HAVE I been doing?! I have six projects to do for my art portfolio, but I haven't been in the mood. My teacher is gonna wack me hard

Not being able to date kinda sucks when you have a boyfriend..buuut we just pasted our one month!

.This is just a head's up, but I'm sorry i haven't been replying to a lot of people lately. I really appreciate your wonderful comments and effort to put in your own say. I've been very busy with summatives and exams because it's coming closer to the end of the year. It's crunch time. . I'm Baaaack! Austria and Poland was AMAZING. I loved the trip very much, but there was SOOO much drama pumped into it that I think more than two weeks would be killing the vacation. For example, on the second day, seven people including myself got lost in the Vienna subway station for TWO hours. Not only did we miss our dinner and a concert we were suppose to attend to, but we also lost one of our members while returning back to the hotel LOL. There were also a lot of drinking/smoking and love triangles going on throughout the whole trip *shudder*. Good and bad memories. I will be posting some pictures up after this blurb but I have some great stocks photos! so *please* answer me on this question because I would like to know if anyone would feel uncomfortable if I put up pictures from the concentration camp of Auschwitz. I understand that it is a very touchy topic from its history, but at the same time on the artistic view, I can see a lot of use one can do with it. Please tell me your opinion on this thanks!

I was hoping to do a shoot today for my model, but Grace cancelled out on me because of the school's musical, West Side Story...and then it turned out that there WASN'T an open dress performance -- soooo in the end, we wasted the day, but that's okay. We're aiming for this friday. So hopefully things will be alright!
In the mean time, I believe that I will be doing a theme relating to something near innocence and mischief (but if you know me, my thoughts tend to switch a little too much). Thank you for the suggestions though - but I figure that it's a lot easier to form the theme to the model and not form the model to the theme. Grace just happens to have such an innocent look, so I couldn't help myself

Rant: I have been thinking a lot about the society I live in...and it depresses me how people my age and younger can be so are druggies/sexually active/smoking etc. I don't know whether it's just me or how I grew up, but I just can't understand why kids want to grow up so fast. Personal Facts
School stresses me. In two day, I had 3 hours each.. (and minds you, I sleep like a koala so that was very painful for me). I became depressed a couple of times and i actually managed to cry because the workload was so bad. I almost cried when I was practicing my french horn. But I'm chirpier and I managed to give you guys a new shoot to work with.

In two weeks, I think I might be able to get the other models to be photographed. Check out ~spoonyvixen later!

Also I would like an opinion from my watchers and random people who drop by, looking for some good stocks. I want to know whether you prefer full body shots or just a certain part as a focus (such as face, legs etc). Im really confused as to what you prefer.. lol so please tell me so I can provide better stocks in the future! Thanks a bunch

So I lied. I said I wouldn't put any new deviations up because of my hair, but would you look at that! I couldn't resist. I'm sorry it took so long, but I hope you all enjoy it and hopefully be of some use to all you talented artists out there.

Notice: I will be gone for the long weekend (02/3-7/05) because I'm at Quebec City with the other students who took french at my school (yay for français!). I'll be able to stick some pictures up later.

I went shopping yesterday! I love shopping. It's like another version of my endorphin. I got my semi outfit and a cute spring dress from Morgan de Toi (My favourite store!!! and yes I'm stocking up for Spring already). The other skirt that I bought was from Sandro (My second favourite store). Hopefully, I'll be able to use them for your benefit

I'd like to officially announce that ~ neville123 has left us for Cuba for a week and I'm sad because I talk to him so much. He was kind enough to take a pink plastic flammingo for me during the semi. Such a sweet guy

So- I went - everything was going great, the people were nice, I even had a good laugh with the guy who was washing my hair.

But what I visualized in my head completely backfired in my face... maybe it was 'cause I have really thick hair.. or that i just had too much hair.. but whatever it was... it ruined the bunch of fur i had at the top of my head...(and who knew people can be so dependent on it lol)

So to the point: I don't think I'll be having any new pictures of myself for a while (or until my hair grows out). Sorry

I got some great stock photos of landscape and some informal pictures of my trip.. Unfortunately, I, uhh, kinda accidently deleted all the photos from the wedding... >.0 (I didn't do it on purpose!) but they had extra cameras taking some so it's fine really LOL
Unforunately, I won't be able to take any pictures of myself for stock photos in Australia, but I'll see what I can do when I come back.

I'm going to Australia for my cousin's wedding and I won't have time to take new pictures, but if anything, I'll see what I can do down over there! 3. Where were some of the ways people got punished? (I rather enjoyed researching that )
4. How were women treated?
5. What were some of the dances in Ancient Egypt? (Okay, I had a major problem with this one 'cause I can't find ANYTHING on it. If anyone happens to know anything about this, could you comment? Thanks)
6. What were some of the different Gods?
7. Were there schools in Ancient Egypt? If so, was it boys only?
8. Is there really a Curse of the Mummy's Tomb?
9. How did pharoah's die? Were they murdered or poisoned or did they just die of old age most of the times?
10. Were there doctors in Ancient Egypt?
