I mean wow! Where do I even begin?

I seriously cannot thank everyone who voted for me enough. I fully and unbelievably appreciate each and every one of you and if I could, I'd repay you guys somehow lol.

When I first saw the lineart for this piece, I didn't think I could do it. I knew I wanted to without a doubt, but there were many moments where I didn't think I'd do a good job of it but I plowed on and damn has it paid off . I learnt so much through it and I feel I've grown in confidence, after all if I can pull off this baby, I can't be doin toooooo bad lol.

But yeah, tremendous thankyous to everyone who supported me. Big shout out to all my fellow entrants, you all did a bang up job The competition was amazing, so many rose to the challenge.

So ya, it's been cool. I'm pretty confident in my colouring (esspecially after that AoA pic lol I know I can handle anything up to that level now).

Soooo, I dunno. I'll give it more thought anyway although if I do, I may not take every single commission coming my way.

So what else is new artwise? Well, started colours on the Continuities Collide piece I started. Once the compo came along that was put on full hold lol. I'm thinking whether to experiment with my colouring on it but we'll see once I've got all the flats laid down.

I also have something of a Ristar obsession at the mo, so expect to see plenty of Ristar . Definately gotta do more Redwall art too cos peeps seemed to like that stuff and it is fun to do. Maybe try drawing more actual scenes from the book or characters from other books in the series. A set of Versus pics would be cool I reckon Matthias Vs King Bull Sparra, Matthias Vs Asmodeus, Matthias Vs Cluny, Basil Vs Cluny's Horde. We shall see, we shall see.

And finally, thankyou sooooooooooooooooooooooo so so much to everyone who's been voting for me or commenting on the pic. You have no idea how much I appreciate each and every one of you

Damn I wish I had the time to prepare a piece before I reached the mark but I kinda realised I should be focusing on my uni work so hence no piece YET. But there WILL be one.

But I'll keep this short and sweet anyway. Big thanks to eeeeeeeveryone who's ever viewed my gallery, commented or faved a piece of mine, watched my work or left a message on my page. I appreciate each and every one of you Do tell your friends lol

So what's to come in the future? Well, more art for starters (duh) more Redwall, more Sonic and more branching out into different artistic areas. "When Continuities Collide" will start to rear it's head. The main reason it hasn't already is cos I uh...haven't gotten further than the outline and I'm in the process of re-writing it from scratch for the 4th time. But it's been a great learning practice in killing your "babies" and letting go of ideas that seemed "cool" but were crap when you look back on them after a month lol. I'm gonna do another piece like the original drawings though. Y'know what's ironic and also really infuriating? I've been off uni since before christmas. Had just over a month off and I done hardly any drawing. I just didn't have the burn for it. Think that's due partly to some of the christmas pressies I recieved and ahem...blessed myself with *cough*WorldofWarcraft*cough*

And so I'm kinda behind on a few targets (and not just uni ones). I'd aimed to really have some things done on the up coming When Continuities Collide. And yes, for those who think I'm insane, I am planning to do . Think one of the reasons it hasn't gotten very far is well...I haven't written a single script yet. But I've done 3 outline drafts and each time I've gone back and started again.

I quite like the approach though cos it's allowing me to explore as many different avenues and ways of doing it as I can. From the very stupid to the unique (I hope). And so I kinda hit a point where I couldn't think where to go next. Does that mean it's ready? Nah. I wanna do one or two more outline drafts before I really start writing the nitty gritty. Feel free to contribute any ideas people

I also wanna branch my gallery out a bit, try some different things. I done loads of facial studies recently but the scanner was playing up and is no longer connected which poses a lil bit of a problem :S So anything I wanna do right now I can't really do cos...I can't...bloody...scan it. And dont really wanna go the way of the Digi-Cam for it be evil.
