deviantART doesn't allow me to publish that.

That's an easy thing to fix, technically. It just has big implications. But I think we should just do it and see what happens.

How?

It would mean that you could publish things made in Stash Writer as deviations. Which breaks the promise that when you click a deviation, all that results is a deviation. It could be an entire publication, like :devtechgnotic:'s articles.

My favorite Sushi Chef and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Nozawa are retiring as of yesterday. I was able to deliver this letter to them last night, along with a bottle of champagne. And I was honored to deliver a last toast, and incredibly beyond belief honored to eat the last piece of sushi served by the restaurant. A new restaurant for the sushi chain called "Sugar Fish" (a partnership between Nozawa, and his sun plus another partner) will replace the original Nozawa which has operated from Ventura Blvd in Studio City for the past 25 years.  Sugar Fish at this location is scheduled to open in May.

There are a few issues with the Journal implementation, but there aren't any issues we can't easily fix. And we got so much great feedback, that we now clearly understand some things we didn't before. The best part is, we're going to get the best of both worlds for Journals. All of the benefits of the deviation system for Journals, with all of the resolutions that were vocalized as concerns.

Monday of next week, we're going to release the following changes so that everyone can SMILE! :)

Anyway. I'm leaving today, headed for a conference in Mexico to represent deviantART. I go every year, and it's nice to connect with other CEO's. :llama: And, as a warning shot... Llamas are gettin' updated with more llama goodness. They needed more levels, so we've enhanced the whole system. I still can't believe how crazy the response has been.. as of this writing, 5.2 million llamas in 6 days, 19 hours. That's about 700,000 llamas per day folks! Plus, 628,000 *unique deviants* have given at least one llama!

This is a quick announcement to the few (thousand) people who read my journal as opposed to a wider release (millions!) that'll go out in about a week; we're releasing the deviantART Points system. This is a very basic system: It allows you to buy points, send points to people for (just about) any reason, and get points from people for any reason. Once you have Points, you can use them to buy anything deviantART sells, like subscriptions, super groups, t-shirts, prints, etc.

So obviously, we're thinking about more things you can do with Points.
