Sweet crispy mother of pie. I've been gone for more than a month now. Wow. I jsut sort of sliped out of the community quietly. Ouch. Well, I've been hanging out a lot offline for a while now. I've had a lot to take care of. I think I'll come back to the site now, because it's cool.

Phew. Well, now that that's over, I'll probably be submitting a few new works, and will finally get around to getting 100 comments or so. My goal was... 100 comments before Spring Break ends, and then I just stopped. It kind of clicked somewhere, and then I stopped. Lame. A lot of schoolwork's been done lately. I'm not good a multitasking, so that schoolwork can really get in the way... especially if you're a video game fiend. Which I happen to be. Just borrowed Kingdom Hearts from a friend, and it is proceeding to drain my soul as it's done to countless others.

I've also been working on this website of mine for some time. Because of extrenuating circumstances, I owe about 340 hours of work on webpages to this one guy, and so I've been trying to commit myself to working with that, too. Busy, busy busy. Summer is coming up though, and it looks to be a not-so-warm one this year. I'll undoubtedly be able to hang around DeviantART again. See ya around!

Hey, this Spring Break's been really enjoyable- I joined DeviantART about one week from today exactly, and since then have had a lot of fun looking at all of the different art pieces out there. Who would've known that such an enormous art community existed out there? I've especially enjoyed commenting on the different works, since it seems to make a lot of people very happy. And hey- in the past week alone I've raked in nearly 100 views! That might not seem like a lot, but for having only two pictures up, and not fabulous pictures at that, it means a lot to know that there are people coming to see my page. I find that really, really cool. Thanks, anybody who is reading right now.

Anyway, with my spring break drawing to a close, I finally managed to do some more drawing- I'd been so busy looking at other people's works I never found the time to get my own drawing in. Stupid cold virus... it always seems to bug you when you're on vacation. Just got over it, but that runny nose is still bothering me. Well, I'll get some more comments in tomorrow- I'm almost up to 100 comments- tis my goal for this week. The school days are closing in on me, so I'd best be going. See you all later. Oh, and Flying Man is cool. So there.

Yesterday was awesome... I didn't expect to make friends so quickly, but commenting on other people's works really helped. I've managed to actually talk with a few people. Not being very social, this is a very big event for me. And I've even gotten some comments on the two works that I've put up! Okay, enough of the introvert talk. This site is the ultimate feel-good haunt for any artist. It allows everyone to look at everyone else's works, and point out the good and bad points of their pictures in a way that generally doesn't make anyone feel bad (Mainly because almost nobody is a bad artist ... does such thing as a bad artist exist?). It's great, getting to talk with other people about the works that have come up. In the last 24 hours I've seen a lot of great stuff, and I really want to point out the people who kick butt on the canvas.... or sketchpad... or notebook.... whatever they use for drawing. First, la-chupacabra; she first introduced me to this site about a week ago, and I appreciate that to no end.

Next is ami-kitsune, another person I happen to know personally who does some excellent work. Her poem, 'I Just Wanna Cry' is a must read. Next up is a number of people who I've managed to meet across this website. Great people, both artistically and personality-wise. I'm very glad I met them. If I fail to mention someone, please give me a good kick to the head.

First would have to be Pai-chan. She welcomed me to the site... The pixel-pictures that she makes are actually quite good, and it makes me wonder how much time she spends on the computer making those... She made a darn good Chibi Vegita, too.

Next up is Furan-san, creator of the Triforce series of pictures, which rocked. She also does some self-portraits, like the Funny Furan Cosplay, and overall handles pictures really well. The whole ninja-style she has is great. Is in serious need of Pai repellant. Mmm... Ganon-licious.

Deathscythe02 has a really good handle on Akira Toriyama's art style (I think she spends her free time constructing a massive shrine in order to convert the entire world to her 'religion...'). I mean, the picture of angry Buu was like looking at a colored manga, or something! The only person in the world with access to Pai repellant, I think.

Kiikii-sempai is a crafter of some very beautiful pictures- she colors most, if not all of them, and she handles fabric and poses very well. Her works are a vision in loveliness. If you don't believe me, check out her Fish Can Not Fly. Wonderful picture, I'm telling you.

Next, I'll mention Hakeshsama. She handles her pictures very delicately (They remind me of some original Final Fantasy artwork I saw once.). The works she's done, which includes the entire group of Sailor Senshi from Sailor Moon Super. Does great work with poses and fabric, her style actually seems to stray from Anime (Unless she's doing an Anime picture), and has its own flavor, you know?

Zankara, grand high worshipper of the Zelda series, makes a vareity of different things, including the not-so-infamous God of Stuff (Demented Reindeer alert!), along with many Legend of Zelda-based pictures. She handles textures very well. Her specialty seems to lie within hair, feathers and fur, and it really stands out in the pictures that she's done. Nice artist. May potentially stalk me. Never been stalked before. Sounds like fun.

Finally, we come to Deboahan. He has a flare for cool effects- He seems to do a lot of fighting pictures, and he can make them all look very cool. Kudos go out to him for his work on images for his manga. I'd love to see it sometime. Oh, and he made Death look like somebody I'd like to have my soul reaped by. Yep. I have to wonder how he wields effect around so very well...

Allright, this journals gone on far too long. I've realized three things halfway through typing this. One is that it will be too long. Two, this is a desperate attempt to suck up to the people who've already visited the page. Three... I can't tell the person reading this how much I appreciate you. yeah, you in the computer chair. You probably have your hand on the keyboard or mouse or something... Yeah, YOU. Thanks a million, pal.
Journal of +20 Length ends now.

Hey, I just put up my first submission. It might not seem much, or might not be a whole lot to look at, but I think Ellice is a pretty cool guy. Especially if I were to color him in- his purple hair would look very neat. It's also funny to consider that I first tried drawing him with no nose. As a first-time artist, I can only hope that somebody will stumble across this area and like my work. I do know that the best way to be known in [link] is to know others, and the same goes for commenting on art, keeping in touch, etc. This is a great place for artists to socialize, obviously. However, I do like the system. Well, I think I'm going to go socialize now. I hope that whoever's reading this enjoys the 3 pictures of Ellice that are drawn up. See you all in the next journal.

Well, I'm new to this place, so I really don't know exactly what to put in this here journal, but I guess I'd like to say hi to anybody reading this. This is a really big site, and there are so many artists who are worth bothering to look at, that I'd be surprised if anybody takes their time to read this. I'm kind of new to the art world- there hasn't really been much about me that this site's layout will allow me to say and explain, so I guess I'll put some stuff here about me.

I started drawing during Kindergarten- I was never a very good artist, but I loved telling stories, and comics were the best way to express what I was trying to get across. My art style, very silly, really, did not change at all until 8th grade, when I started taking drawing a bit more seriously. Basing my art style off of Anime, I have improved a great deal, and now, about 2 years since then, I'm working on what will be an online comic that will probably go up here. Working with my pals, we hope to have a popular webcomic that people will enjoy. I enjoy making them a lot, even if it is frustrating at times.

Well, this is about all I have to say today. I thank you very, very much for spending time to read this journal, and I hope you'll continue coming by!
