My laptop screen cracked today. I've only had this laptop since September 2008 and HP wants $421.88 to fix it. I found a wholesaler that will sell just the part I need for $205, but I still don't have the money for that either. What should I do?

My Obama deviation was deleted. Just because he's now president, dA believes being in disagreement is considered hateful. That seriously pisses me off. Any conservative views are immediately dealt with by dA and the community. The only people they refuse to upset are liberals and gays. Sorry, that's the way it is. It pisses me off because that's how life is around here. Affirmative action was made illegal, but they still do it. Women, middle class, hispanics, whites, jews and christians receive little consideration when another group is present. I hate the whole idea of race. It's stupid. There's barely any such thing as a purebread anything in America anymore. Everyone is Native American, European, African, and the like at some point. Thy the F*** do people still try to play that card!?!?! It's wrong. Different places produce different victims, I know, but who is actually the victim has become a common stereotype, and without saying who it is, most of the time the role is reversed. The "victim" is usally the oppressor parading that they're victims while they get all these government grants and special privledges and get away with more s*** on the job. God. Let's send some of those s******** to the lower end of Detroit and see how much better it is there. Places like that is where the education is really suffering. You don't see them pissing and moaning while they're rolling in the dough. There's poor people here of every race. I'm sure they'd all like the same opportunities that the "minorities" in the Ann Arbor area get. But then they'd have to deal with liberal airheads who are all out to eat conservatives:

June is Xellos/Xelloss month (I tend to make a habit of picking a character ever month or two that is my favourite). I want to continue doing features because hey, I pay for a subscription and what else am I going to do with it?

And no, I'm not a Xel/Zel fan. It probably seems that way. Ya'll just made the art pool that way. And sorry ireal70 wound up in here a lot. I wasn't paying attention to the names. I am a fan of the darker Xellos, not the extremely emotional one, but I tried to mix it up.

Post: While there is a line between good music and bad (ex. intonation!), the only thing that can make most bands bad is people who voice their opinion and grasp the concept of "majority wins."

Everyone is into this craze of "I've got to listen to bands no one else listens to." Yeah, so while everyone's busy trying to be different, their still conforming to the same idea.

That's a personal frustration. But, my real point is that many people who liked Green Day now say they suck because a.) posers like them b.) American Idiot sucks c.) You're a poser too and you don't really know what the hell you like

Dude, wake up. If you like Green Day's old stuff, then you like Green Day's old stuff. Whether you thing American Idiot sucks or not (which I do), their old stuff is still theirs. Ya follow me?

There's a genre for everybody. If there isn't one for you, by all means, try to invent one. Respect people's interests. I hate pop music, but I respect the fact that it speaks to some people...I think...but that's what music is really meant to do. I have as much respect for someone that loves the Backstreet Boys wholeheartedly as much as someone who feels the same about The Offspring. It's the people who change their "taste" based soley on what everyone else thinks that pisses me off.
