The first is a big chunk of batman called "the long halloween". It's all about a mofia in gotham city, a series of murders on holidays, and the birth of harvey Dent as Two-face. Very very freakin' cool. The art is amazing, and the colours used give it such a dramatic effect, certain parts being unmistakably reminiscent of old detective murder movies or comics. A very good read.

The second is Wolverine: Origin. Now, I kow what you're thinking. I thought they would ruin his character too, but all they managed to do was deepen every facet of him, making him more realistic than ever. Beautiful trajic story telling mixed with some of the most amazing comic art I've seen in a long time (in colours as well as linework), makes this an unbievable comic that really really makes me want to draw logan fanart. Holy crap. YOU NEED THIS. YOU WILL BE SO HAPPY.

also NYX: WANNABE is very cool. Three individual female mutant coming out stories that merge into one, without the actual well know x-men (cyclops, storm, ect...) or proff exavier, so it's enjoyable even if you aren't really into the X-men.

AAAAAAND ARKHAM ASYUM: A serious house on serious earth
The rt is so weird, as is the story (well, it DOES take place in arkham asylum). I love this one very very much.

Oh, and anything "the Darkness" except for "Levels". Jakie Estacado for the win! I would go into more detail about how he is super amazing as are his comics, but I really have to tudy for tomorrow's math midterm, so I'll save that for later.

I've been trying SO HARD to get some quality work done. I really want to pick up my "Rage" shit and do some concept work (city paintings, main and general character sketches and maybe even some written work/ comic pages) BUT I'm working on the biggest freakin' art project right now and it's killing me so hard. My lovely friend Vivian asked me to do a massive bleach painting all over her camp artiban hoodie. and I'm covering everything. EVERYTHING. OMG, the hood it covered both sides solid, one arm and the back are also done. I painted my first ever sucessful landscape in bleach and fabric paint on it. THIS IS A LABOUR OF LOVE PEOPLE. I want to have it done for when I see her tuesday, maybe as sort of a feelbetterfromyoursurgery/imissedyousoeffingmuch present, but I jave NO IDEA WHAT TO PUT ON THE FRONT. T_T The good news is that it's my favorite of all artisty things I hacve ever done ever ever, so it's wort it and if I mess it up or it dies I'll cry REALLY HARD. :C

I should stop crying over it and get working. Please ignore my ranting and believe that I'm, working on something for you guys and I love you and I'm sorry.

i went downtown with to shop with my no money and get her a new ceptum ring. on the bus ride here i got hit on by a quiet Jamaican boy who i have yet to e-mail. after i met up with maddie and we discovered that she was also a poor person, we went down to the beach for a while, and i learned that davie street is wowhappycolourful and very very gay(seriously, Vancouver's gay district). i didn't eat at all until about 5:30pm, and a boy with a mowhawk named ...cody? (i'm horrible with names) popped out of a giant recycling bin and asked me to a candle light mac and cheese dinner (no, i wasn't on drugs, it really happened).

I'm not used to being hit on, so today has left me a little disoriented, and i'm sure i babbled like an idiot. All in all a very strange day.

1) Temper: uh, yes. he's got a few buttons like most people, just little things that build up when he's having a bad day. he's normally pretty passive and hard to get close to, but once he has someone important to him he'll kill you if you try to hurt them.

2) Does your character ever get depressed? yup. not in the emo "Omg i leik hate my life cuz it sux. " way. He trys to push the bad stuff out of his mind and has a bad habit of hiding his emotions inside himself and acting tough, but occasinally it all surfaces and he'll be in a "rut" for a while.

3) Leader or Follower? a follower for the most part, but can lead really well hen nessisary.

4)What is the main aspect of his/her personality? generally submissive unless provoked. tends to keep up an emotional barrier and is hard to get close to because he's afraid of loss.

History:
1) Does your OC have a family of any sort? If so, are they still alive? no. his mom and dad died when he was 16. He's never been close to any of his realtives besides his aunt and uncle on his mom's side, but he killed his uncle so they don't really keep in touch.

I've felt really akward at school for the past while, i have no idea why, but i'm just a little uncomfortable around everyone. I'm so glad it's spring break!
Today i felt like my old self again for the first time in a while. i went and got a slurpee with Sara (she dosn't go to my school anymore, stupid district reconfiguration! ) and then we went back to her house and watched an old outer limits episode and a black and white tim burton movie about the worst director in the history of film-making (i forget the title, but it was really good.) There was an old man, viagra jokes ensued (i'm a funny lady! *get's bricked*) Then i came home, watched the nightmare before christmas (again) and drew lock, shock and barrel (and sqee in a jar, but that's beside the point).

We're having an old horror/sci-fi movie marathon this weekend (i'm talking silver-paper-plates-on-strings-for-spaceships old!). it'll be uber fun!

i'm getting a much needed hair cut tomorrow and i don't know what i want yet!
Bangs of some sort, and very shot chunky weirdness... i'm too lazy to grow the brown back into my hair right now so i'm thinking i'll re-dye my hair all black this weekend. no more blurple for stephie!

i need to give a general update:

- I got my right eyebrow pierced
- My hair is black and blurple (also known as pue thanks to John)
- I need a haircut again
- and have been together for almost 6 months!
- I'm a cartoonist now, but i won't abandon anime completly. I'd miss it too much. Realism is dead to me now.
- For those who love Zombies, bad jokes and randomness, my art is about to get much more interesting.
