When I first joined dA, I was a CRAZY Sonic and Mario fangirl! So what did I do? I faved and watched every Mario and Sonic gallery/artist I could find! D8 I was young [like 13? ], I didn't think I'd eeeeever get sick of those two >_<
Eventually I got over Sonic after about 3-6 months, I guess >_> And I kinda left a lot of Sonic artists hanging ( _ _) [I'm sorry if you're one of the Sonic artists I haven't been responding to! I really am! ]
Occasionally, I got small Sonic cravings, but he was pretty much out of my system So all I had left was Mario, and I stuck w/ the fandom waaay longer than Sonic
But now my Mario mojo has just about now completely faded, aaaaaand the remaining artists I watch are mostly Mario artists
See, when I COMPLETELY lose interest in something, it kinda hits me instantly and I don't bother w/ it hardly ever \:

So now I got this guilt hanging over my head that I'm ignoring everybody, but I don't mean to...I just simply lost interest in the fandoms... 8[ And I really don't have the heart to un-watch ANYBODY because A) They'll know B) I'll feel like a jerk for a couple of days C) ....I just wanted to say C

So basically I'm leaving to escape the guilt of my inactiveness

I hate ignoring people, I really do.....because I hate being ignored myself, and I know the feeling way too well [referring to real life] =[...

Also, I couldn't keep up w/ all the new deviations and journal entries @__@ So that kinda stressed me a little more too I mean there's still a couple of comments and replies I haven't replied to, and I normally reply to MOST if not ALL of them

Man, school is going so awesome right now! 8D I won another art contest! But my prize was a $250 savings bond TvT so I can't even spend it yet.....crap (_ _) Ugh, I wanna buy my Wii now!!! *go cries in a corner* But I did get a DS for Christmas from my auntie (She's so awwesome! |D) So that'll keep me content 'til I get my Wii -w-

And yesterday was THE best day ever. XD Our school is trying to recruit next year's freshman for the CAPA [Creative and Performing Arts] program [the thing I'm in ] So, they had this recruitment thing yesterday for the middle schoolers down the street from my school and WE had to tell 'em about what we do in the classrooms and stuff....yeah |D We had to rotate between 3 art classes [with a 30 minute pizza break in between -w-] every 45 minutes
We pretty much told them that we talk and play too much and get distracted from our work (which we do |D) But NOW we can do it at the same tiiime. [Oh yeah! >D] I almost hate to think about the end of the year, when we'll all be seperated We're like a family in that class
So anyway, we had Papa John's and drinks for lunch. The teachers told us we could only get 2 slices, and everyone was like 'Ha! Yeah right!' We all snuck like 3 or 4 slices each go 'round xD So in the end, I had like ...8 slices? I dunno I lost count like after the 2nd slice

I felt kinda bad, 'cause everybody couldn't participate in this. They randomly chose some people from our class [Thank God I was chosen ], soooo I know the ones who didn't go were pissed

Oh well maybe they'll have it again next year...

I never thought I'd miss dA THIS much But now I'm back And I've got so much to tell you guys But I'll try to keep it brief I'm ready to check my messages and look at art!!

Okay...Lemme take a breath real quick, I need to calm down

Okay, I've had plenty of time to color a lot of my linearts, but....I only finished like...two :[
I know, I know, I gotta stop being so lazy! And distracted... I've been playing video games over the past weeks =]

...Does anybody live in [or around] Memphis? If so, then you should know about the Mid-South fair! 8D
If there is ANY kind of chance that you can go to the fair, pleeeeease take at least ONE picture of one of the trash cans

The reason is because our art classes worked on some of those trash cans for a competition the fair is having
We did four different cans:
One about the olympics,
Another about the 2008 presedential election,
A tribute can for Isaac Hayes,
and a "Fairwell" can 'cause this is the Mid-South's last year =[ But it was really cool painting trash cans If I get the chance, I'll try to get a picture of the can our group worked on. ^^

Also I've finished about... 6 or 7 console humans.
And entered them in a contest 8D outside of dA! 8D Our school entered a contest for the Memphis Food Bank, so my art teacher wanted us to draw an entry for the contest.
So she looked at all our sketchbooks one-by-one to see what we liked to draw.
So when she looked through mine and noticed sketches of some of my console humans [At the time I only had Cube, PS2, N64, and GBA] she was like 'Oh! That is cute! You should draw them for the contest!'
I almost... freakin'... lost... it!! @o@

One, the deadline was in three days
Two, I didn't have everybody designed yet
and Three, ...I just wanted to say three...

So I ended op working from 2:30 p.m.-midnight working on my contest entry ;_; Gosh, now I know how arthritis feels...(#>< ) But it was well worth it
So when I get my entry back, You'll get to see Gamecube, PS2, XBOX, Wii, PS3, and 360 all in one big ol' picture! XD

But it's not all bad, I take 2 art classes.... and one of them's digital art So we get to use Photoshop, Illustrator, Wacom tablets and some more digital art stuff! Ahhh, I can't wait to use a tablet :]

I was in constant pain for 5 days STRAIGHT. After that experience I don't think I'll ever have kids. @_@ But I'm doing fine now. I'm not in that much pain anymore, but the stitches are itching like CRAAAAZY!....and it sucks that I can't SCRATCH 'EM!
But now that the worst is over, I'll be able to get on computer from time to time ( or whenever I feel like it) So I'll be most likely be slow checking messages and making comments. Gotta get my rest so my back can hurry up and heal!

Today is my last day to be on the computer, soooo I'm gonna TRY to check as many deviations and messages as possible. I still have over 100 deviations and over 50 messages to check so bear with me people. Most likely I'll take the lazy way and fav w/o cmt-ing. Do you really expect me to comment 190-something deviations!?

ok, i need to let everyone know that i have a surgery coming up so i won't be on the computer for a while. i'm having surgery on my spine because it's been growing crooked ever since I was in 2nd grade ( wow that's a long time)
i have to stay in the hospital for a week, and out of school for six weeks (woo! )
so I'm gonna be a-hurtin for a while....... on the plus side, no school for six weeks!

anywaaay...., for those of you who're curious, i have a condition called scoliosis and that's what caused my spine to grow crooked. Some people are born with it, and some grow with it like me. Sometimes you can tell when somebody has it if you look at how they walk or sit or something like that. My friends tell me I walk kinda one-sided but....i don't see it

So if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. But you have to ask me before Feb. 19. ( Surgery date's Feb. 22 but I gotta see the doc before then)

And to everybody who's Christian, please pray for me,

i don't wanna go under the knife! what if they cut something they ain't supposed to and i don't wake up! it's already bad enough my friend had a dream I died in the suregery!

i finally got my scanner hooked up!!!!
now i can submit the thousands of pictures i've drawn!
that's why i haven't been commenting to some people lately i've been too busy drawing! BUT before i can submit anything i gotta figure out how the dang old thing works! WAAAH! oh well i think i'll be able to figure it out... can't be THAT hard......(i hope)

also, I'M GETTING A WII THIS YEAR!!!!!! i almost cried when my auntie said she would get one for me!!
my dream of getting a Wii will fiiiinally be fufilled!! (did i spell that right?)
then i'll be able to get Super Mario Galaxy and Wario Ware: Smooth Moves. i want them so friggin BAD!! and a DS
