hmm, too lazy to finish the swashbucklers wip and final photos right now but i will eventually get around to it. despite the fact that i did do one for the more recent steampunk outfit, the swashbucklers was a whole series of outfits and a crap ton more of explanation needed so that's on the back burner for now.

so umm... yeah. it's been a while since i posted. almost a year. such a long time yet it went by so quickly. well, i'm busy. busy with work, busy with art, busy with animation, busy with cosplay, busy with translating, busy with a lot of things. will i get them done on time? well, i kinda have to. so from here on out, i will be running on 5 hours of sleep a night as i use my free evenings to work on an any one of the projects i have to be get finished before labor day weekend.

so... i am being more productive. i'm back to doing some freelance fashion/cosplay commissions, working on a series of colored compositions and a super secret project that i won't mention is about except that it will be the most epic thing i have ever done to date.

how's life? mine's peachy... got a new computer that my bro built me. its so nice~ it makes my art stuff easier to do. i will also be able to start doing some animation stuff since the system is better than the measly laptop i had before.

wow i haven't posted a journal entry in a long time... ^^; well, i keep forgetting to since work has eaten up much of my time and the free time i have i spend either lazing it up or doing random projects. speaking of which, i just finished my fanart of the thorn queen shadow from air gear! it only took me 4 tries, but i'm really happy with it (the previous 3 onl got as far as full sketches).

work has kicked into high gear and i find myself being able to do enough to keep up but not able to get ahead. most of this is due to more transitions at work, getting and learning new duties, still handling older duties (that are supposed to pass onto a new person) given that the new person is still learning the mere basics. i'm making a nice paycheck for all of this, and once i'm fully hired on (they have deemed me good enough to join their ranks as a full time employee, but first must finish the assignment duration as a temp employee) i will be making more money. i am saving a good chunk of it every week...

so from the beginning of this month... sakuracon, a good dose of a break from reality and being able to show off my dorky side without sticking out like a sore thumb. went around in my prinny cosplay and was happy how it turned out~. didn't do well this time around for the rock band tourny, our team was bummed. finally got to meet in person, some online friends too while i was up in seattle. had a very good breakfast with them ^_^ such a sweet couple jess and graham were~ i'm happy that they got together and are doing great<3

i've been busy at my new job~ and so far i am enjoying it despite how much work needs to be done... and i still have to juggle art and comics, translating and as of these last 2 weeks- cosplay~ i'm happy to say that i'm close to finishing (currently working on it).

so christmas is in the air... as well as those gradually annoying christmas tunes that all the stores are playing on repeat. well, after one particular outing at Sushi Track restaurant with my best friend and hearing the rudolph the red-nosed reindeer song, i've realized that there is a bad moral hidden in the festive good song. i was utterly amused at what i discover that i went on a quest to look at the lyrics of some other christmas tunes and this is what i've found:

so yeah... 2009. umm, my new year resolution (i only now decided on one) is to work more on my art and story stuff. i've always been rather lazy when it comes to working on it even though i have been really meaning to, so i guess if i make it my new year's resolution then maybe i'll get more done.
