So you guys probably know I've been closely following the unfolding "Gay Girl in Damascus" blog hoax, where a popular lesbian Syrian activist named Amina Arraf was actually outed as a white man from Georgia. Anyway, a very interesting development for me personally has happened in connection with this-- I was interviewed by the BBC this morning on "World Have Your Say: The Amina Hoax." "The Sociopath Next Door"- Martha Stout

This is a short and very well-written book about garden-variety sociopaths- that is, the ordinary ones who live next door, as opposed to the ubiquitous serial killers you see on TV.   Highly recommended- and you probably know a couple sociopaths yourself.  Pretty freaky stuff.

"Atticus of Rome"- Barry Denenberg
